This place is a madhouse around the holidays, but I do enjoy buying lobster and having the House Special sauce (Dac Biet). Lemme break down the workflow: You go to the seafood counter, wait in line, and there's two men pulling lobsters out of a huge tank. You tell him how many lobsters you want, and he hands you a bag and puts a lobster in it. Then you wait in line again at the actual meat counter, and ask for them to cook it. They hand you a ticket and you bring that to the very front left of the supermarket where they sell food to go. You pay first (yes they accept card), and they give you a receipt and let you know when to come back and pick up the order. Do not lose the receipt! It's always sooo delicious, hot, crispy and indulgent. This place gets packed with Viet people, so you know it's authentic and good.

Came here a lot growing up and it feels and looks kind of the same which means they should probably update and replace things when they get a chance. But if you're looking for cheap produce and groceries abc market is a decent place to go. When I went during lunar new year most recently it was super packed so I would avoid going during holiday periods.

A local friend who really knows the area took me to check out this Vietnamese supermarket, saying their sauces and seafood are especially cheap. After walking around the store, I noticed that some of the vegetables are slightly cheaper than at Shun Fat. As for sauces, I did a quick comparison with two Lee Kum Kee products I often buy: * Honey Soy Braising Sauce: As of early June 2025, it's on sale for $2.99 on Weee, but here it's $3.19. * Sweet Soy Sauce: $5.99 on Weee, but only $4.99 here -- $1 cheaper! I even checked my receipt from Shun Fat back in April: I paid $3.29 for the Honey Soy Sauce (so this place is $0.10 cheaper), and $4.99 for the Sweet Soy Sauce, same price as here. The meat and seafood sections are clean and well-lit. Live Boston lobsters were on sale for $9.99/lb (as of 6/5/2025) and there was a line of people grabbing them. They also had a wide variety of live seafood, probably more than nearby Shun Fat or T&T Supermarket and prices are about the same or a bit cheaper. Bonus: they can clean or prep the seafood for you. (Most of the signage is in Vietnamese, so using a photo translation app really helps!) Note: For purchases under $10, it's cash only. Over $10, you can pay by card. Make sure to hold on to your receipt before you exit. ABC Supermarket - Siêu Thị 8970 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683

They helped him pick the right cut & optional if you want it seasoned or as is. There's a few potatoes, onions, and seasoning in the shelves. A great one stop shop option! I also like their frozen meatballs in their freezer, which adds some really nice savory flavors to my spaghetti and meatballs. They have really high end cuts of meat like wagyu and Japanese A5 meats here; however, that's not really what I come looking for. Their pantry is nicely stocked with quality ingredients. It's hard to not pass up their delicious pork rinds (from 4505 or Southern Recipe) or Mutti marinaras. And if I don't feel like cooking, I can come for lunch in order to walk away with a sandwich that they can make for me. Overall, this is a small shop, that's thoughtfully stocked with some really high-quality ingredients for me to make a nice dinner at home!

The Wagyu was savory without being overly rich, and the chicken breast was lean but still really flavorful. They give you the choice between the regular chicken, which is dark meat and a little more savory, or the chicken breast, which is the leaner option. I also chose a double order of the macaroni salad for both of my sides instead of the kale salad or the other original side. It was a little extra, but completely worth it. It's hard to find places with really good macaroni salad, and this one did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the entire plate. I will say the truck itself is placed at a pretty dark corner of the street with some transient people nearby. Just an observation, nothing to do with the food or service. The service was fast and everything went smoothly when ordering, this place takes card if you don't have any cash. I ordered 1 al pastor burrito, 3 lengue tacos, 1 pastor taco, 2 tripas, and 2 cabeza. The order took about 10 minutes to complete even though I was the only customer. The self service bar had everything you needed, 4 separate sauces, cilantro, onion, radish, cucumber, limes, and pickled onions, jalapenos, and habaneros. I took it to go to eat at home and after the 10 minute drive and walk into my apartment everything was still super hot and smelt amazing. The pastor is some of the best I've had in a while, super flavorful and juicy. The lengue was tender, the cabeza almost had a tallow flavor, and the tripas was crispy. All excellent choices in my book. The sauces were spicy, however, in a blind taste test I don't think I could distinguish between any of them. Visually they were distinct but the flavor profiles were all very similar. Still good salsas overall, but if you're a diehard verde vs roja kinda person there really wasn't a difference in my opinion. Definitely worth trying out, hard to stand out too much with the multitude of taco shops/trucks around, but a good choice overall. Al Pastor has to be the highlight of the meat choices. Also Tuesday they offer 1.50 on a select choice of meats. For 1 burrito and 8 tacos my order came out to a little over 33 with tax, good bang for your buck.
