Horrible experience. A nightmare. Still pissed at this company for the very unprofessional work that they do. To start, I dealt with a nice guy who came to assess my apartment and let me know what I needed to do to prepare for moving day. We arranged a time that they would come to my apartment and begin the moving process. The time was around 3pm. I came home early around 1pm to find my door open, all of my boxes moved out, a mountain of my most valuable things on my living room floor, and surrounding my most valuable things (including my jewelry box and purse) are donut boxes and banana peels. I will upload a picture of that. Seems that they had decided to have a big breakfast crew party on top of my things in my living room. When I asked the large African American man named Kevin James or Jackson (can't remember which) why they did that when I had arranged with the company for later afternoon, he said "I don't give a shi*! I got someone to open the door because I was ready to do your apartment this morning!" I left and made phone calls to supervisors and people in charge who knew about the designated time. They didn't know why he would do that. It turns out that Kevin had gotten a construction worker, who was doing apartment renovations, named Bill Holly, to open my apartment door with a key while I was gone. He went in and did that without me home because he felt like it at 9 am. Kevin ended up cussing me out along with my brother and two children while standing over me in an intimidating manner. I am a 5'3 woman while Kevin stands over 6 feet tall and about 400lbs. While my brother stood there silently, he got into my brother's face and wanted him to walk away from my apartment. He was trying to scare us for some reason. I recorded the whole thing on my phone which I will try to upload so you can hear how unprofessional this was. Every mover on this job looked like they just got out of prison and look like they are high on meth. I wouldn't please don't hire this company. It looks like a prison re-entry program to me. One older male put his arm around me while he was packing my things and asked if he could be my boyfriend. Again, single young woman living alone with a tatted up 50 year old convict wrapping his arm around me and asking to be my boyfriend while we are alone in my apartment was not my idea of professionalism or safety. When my apartment renovation was over and this company brought back my furniture, I received all of my larger pieces back broken. My lamp, T.V., couch, entertainment unit, and desk. I can add pictures of those as well. They put my children's brand new bunk-bed (which had taken me and my step dad hours to put together before the move) back together with a remaining handful of screws! This company is dirty and extremely unprofessional. I would strongly recommend that you spend a little bit more money to not have to deal with them. It's not worth it. I had no choice because my apartment management hired this company and they don't care about their tenants. read more

I just did a 3 bedroom house move from coast to coast and it was painless! Everyone was fabulous! Frank's walkthrough was fast and easy. Really nice guy. Great first impression of the company. Then Nate and his crew on the west coast - spectacular. They showed up right on time, busted their butts for 8+ hours packing everything up. I anticipated it taking 2 wks for our stuff to get here but it only took 6 days. Then Nate and his crew here on the east coast were great. No damage to my gorgeous new house moving things in. 2 guys got here before the truck to tape down cardboard throughout the house. Again this crew busted their butts, were fast and courteous and placed everything where I asked and hung in there with me when I was indecisive a few times:) I want to add, the actual weight of my stuff came in over the estimate but they honored the estimate. There were no hidden charges or up charges upon delivery. And as I've been unpacking over the last week, everything was labeled well and it's been easy (relatively speaking) to unpack. And not one thing has been broken. Just wanted to share a positive experience. read more

This is the 3rd time I am posting as previous posts were removed. THis is a very dishonest company that harasses its customers and does not follow its own policies. There were nearly $5000 worth of damage during a move in Sept 2021. After purchasing moving insurance through Atlas the claims dept closed my claim BEFORE I could post all the damages 6 weeks after the move. Their policy clearly states I have 4 months to file. I started a dispute via American Express and won. They are a merchant of American express so one would think they would comply with the rules but That's when the harassment started. They immediately sent me to their collections department. They continually threaten and have not responded to my numerous calls and emails to Ace. I would avoid this moving company like the plague Now I am receiving harassing emails from cathyshipp@atlasworldgroup.com chelsiedrysdale@atlasworldgroup.com who was altering official documents after they were sent through word docs. Ask yourself if it is worth moving with this company when they are threatening 8 months after the move !!! read more

Vanessa and the team did a fantastic job with packing and loading. I had had a bad experience with a previous moving company, but Vanessa was nothing but professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I felt very comfortable with the way my belongings were packed and reassurance that higher value items not meeting the threshold for extra insurance would still be well taken of. She even came back after we found two items that had accidentally been left behind! I will try to update this review when we pick up some of our items after transport, but based on our experience so far I would absolutely recommend this team for a move. read more

This is by far the best moving experience I have ever had. It was also the most complicated move I've ever done. We moved from one city to another almost 500+ miles. They showed up on time on the day. They were super personable. They asked tons of questions so that everything was taken care of the right way. They were flexible with all of the things that we needed to be moved that were not packed yet. We had literally no damage to any item. Absolute worse move in my entire life!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their driver, Abel Cruz and his assistants, Joshua Almeida and James Gettler STOLE $13,000 worth of heirloom jewelry from my move from Utah to California. Additionally, items were taken apart and misplaced are still unresolved. Missing pieces for floor lamps and tables are not replaceable. This company will not stand up and resolve this matter; an unacceptable practice and should not be trusted nor be in business. read more
