Stop deciding where to go for breakfast, brunch, desert, coffee or fancy coffee and come here. Don't let the random location fool you (like it did for us). Our friends showed us this place a month ago. So far, best matcha my wife has had (she's tried a lot), best chai I've had. Really delicious bakery items. Ordered the croissants and a Parisian puff. The Parisian puff is to die for! Just get one with your coffee at least (small and 95 cents). I have been to Patrick's Bakery in the village many times before so I was pleased to know that he has opened a new spot. The pastries were delicious as expected and prices were reasonable. We stopped by Adore after going to the pier. It's only a couple miles away. We arrived a little late, around 1pm. We were immediately greeted by Katie and another worker who were both super nice. We ordered the Napolean, tiramisu, mount blanc and a hot mocha coffee. 1st, the coffee was absolutely delicious, best mocha I've ever had. Then Katie advised us to eat the Napolean sooner than later. We decided to take her up on her recommendation and ate the Napolean and tiramisu right there. Can you say heavenly! The Napolean was crispy, not soggy like I'm used to. The tiramisu was the best and I've tried them in NY, Italy, SF, etc. We met the man of the hour, Patrick, the baker. God bless his soul! The mount blanc was also delicious. I don't give too many 5-stars but Adore is deserving of the rating. The only negative was limited parking and I didn't see macarons. But these are only slight issues because what there did have and what we tried is 5-dtars all day. We will definitely be back!!! read more

I had the pleasure of not only having lunch here yesterday, but also meeting one of the owners, Katie. What a wonderful human she is; she exudes loving kindness! But let's get to the review of food and coffee! The Daily soup was something like a split pea, but since they use quality ingredients (fresh peas!), the color was a beautiful shade of green with a swirl of oil on top. Light, flavorful and good for the soul on a crisp day! Vegetarian quiche: O.M.G. The BEST quiche I have ever eaten! The crust is simply perfection (not dry, oily, burned) and the filling was also light and delicious!!!! This is not your typical dense (but bland) quiche! It was really delicious and you can taste the different veggies!! Cafe Viennois: wonderful coffee with a dollop of chantilly cream. I will let Katie tell the story to customers but you can taste of slight hint of floral in the chantilly cream! Divine!! Almond croissant: I took this home to round out the experience of trying out the menu (but I did share it!). Heavenly. The filling is delightful! Soft, creamy, not overly sweet. Eat this at room temp, don't microwave it!! I can't wait to return. This place is a WINNER! Be sure to stop by and try something! Prices are fair for all homemade, high quality ingredients. Delicious mocha with real rich flavorful Valrhona chocolate with decadent vanilla Chantilly cream. Heavenly. Then I waited for them to heat my ham and cheese quiche and I took a few bites and had to snap a picture before I ate it all, so I could incluye a picture with my review. The ham and cheese was so tasty and the eggs so fluffy, lightly salty but not too salty, very balanced. The kind friendly lady who helped me also gave me lots of detail about the quality ingredients and how they don't reheat with a microwave but only the oven, so there is a short wait if you need your pastry heated. I stopped by on a non busy morning to finally check it out and Adore did not disappoint. I'm going to buy some more pastries to take home to my husband and son. I was out of state when I ordered a full fresh fruit meringue for my Dad's birthday. I searched all over Yelp for "best fruit tart" and decided to take a chance on this cafe. The owner was very friendly and professional and helped me easily coordinate a pickup by other family members. They were able to find parking very easily and were delighted at the interior of the cafe. When my father saw the meringue he wanted to dive in immediately! They commented on how beautiful it looked to the point they didn't want to eat it and when they finally had some they all texted me at different times to rant about how amazing it tasted. I have been a loyal customer since Patrick opened his bakery Adore. We enjoy his wonderful pastries and coffee which are excellent and are reminiscent of Paris. I would like to give feedback on a recent experience that I thought was somewhat unprofessional. I had ordered $60 worth of pastries and coffee for two and asked the waiter for some butter for my brioche that never came. I was happy to let that pass as I knew they were extremely busy. Much later his wife comes up to me at the end of my breakfast and in a rather loud voice repeats herself twice how they stopped giving free butter as there is wastage of butter and I would have to pay for it if I wanted it. I would have been happy to pay for it. But I wish her approach and tone had been more professional without me having to be reprimanded. It was rather embarrassing as there were other patrons sitting around me and it rather spoilt my dining experience. I know Adore always appreciates feedback and I would like to them to know that for a restaurant to be successful customer satisfaction and the customer experience is key. That being said I hope to continue patronizing Patrick's as his pastries and coffee are amazing. He is extremely pleasant and so is his wife usually and hopefully this was a one off experience. read more
