I met up here with some friends for a mid-week hang and walk around North Beach. There were so many flavors of gelato available along the L-shaped counter that it was hard to settle on a flavor, but I eventually opted for a scoop of black cherry chip gelato in a waffle cone. It was really good, but I had to eat it kind of fast because the gelato was really soft, and it was hot outside, causing it to melt faster than usual. I made it to the last few bites before it started dripping so not bad. Funnily enough, I'd passed by Alimento countless times before but had never tried it. I'm so glad my friend organized our weeknight catch-up to come check out this spot.

This place had been my go-to for gelato in North Beach for years now. My top flavors have to be either stracciatella or lemon cookie :) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is always busy whether night or day, and they allow customers up to two samples of the gelato flavors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've read that they also make sandwiches, which I would also love to try one day. When you pay at the register, they have all kinds of yummy European chocolate that you don't see at many places. The cannoli's are also so mouthwatering, and they have a variety of different kinds per preference. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've never enjoyed my gelato right out front but I see many people sitting down every time I've visited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also slide their front window all the way open to create a more ventilating and welcoming atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend for amazing gelato and other goodies :)

Ordered the Mafioso sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were well balanced, and the bread was perfect. You can tell they put a lot of care into their sandwiches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The deli has a great neighborhood feel, and the service was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to whenever I'm craving a great Italian sandwich.

Stopped in here after a long walk around North Beach and this was the perfect treat to end the day! Got a cookies & cream gelato that was so good and reminded me of my favorite gelato from Dolce Spazio in the South Bay (still the better one but I'll take Alimento being a quick walk away)! My friend got the pistachio and said it wasn't that great though :( but some other flavors we sampled were good! Will absolutely be back to get an affogato!

I wasn't sure how to rate this place because [[HIGHLIGHT]]I absolutely love the interior/aesthetic and the gelato was delicious[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] BUT the service was just okay and I found an ant mixed into my gelato. It was just one little ant so it's no big deal but it made me feel "meh" about the experience. I would've given a 3 star rating if not for the variety of flavors they had and the quality of each flavor I tried. Here's my food rating for the flavor I chose: Coconut, 8/10 - my go to. i was satisfied that it tasted like fresh coconut.

We were in the city and wanted to get an authentic Italian sub without the long weight of the more popular spot. Alimento is small galley style shop that is a mix of a gelato spot, deli, coffee shop and convenience store that sells cigarettes and alcohol. Two of us got the speciale and one got the alpino. The sandwiches are flavorful and fresh although the bread did tear up the roof of our mouth. We also tried the gelato which was pretty but just OK. My wife had a Americano and it was strong and hot just like we like. Although the store had a good amount of traffic coming and going, we didn't have to wait very long to receive our lunch, which is what we were hoping for.

Came for an after-dinner treat! The whole store is narrow and long with walls boasting countless bottles of wine and two large freezers full of gelato and sorbet. There's a limit of 2 flavors for samples. I got excited about trying their Cardamom gelato, but the employee told me there wasn't any left and that was actually mint chip one, which was disappointing. The employee was very prompt and quick with helping me, which I appreciate. I got the Spumoni, and the medium was a generously filled cup. Texture-wise, it was a bit icy and hard for me, not as buttery and smooth as other places. The flavor was great though; I loved the chopped nuts in it. The Stracciatella I sampled was also very good! Definitely a good place if you want a variety of flavors to choose from.

While walking to my chosen lunch spot, I kept noticing how many "new" businesses that weren't there between 2020 and 2022. I used to take my goddaughter, the furry variety, along this route and there were so many boarded doors and windows. As I walked, I took photos of places that piqued my interest. On my walk back after lunch, I decided to window shop at their gelato, especially after seeing Genevieve Y's (https://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=_aSs5dSAabuwnXUGBPzASw) photo of spumoni that I saw a few days earlier. I saw an item that might interest her but another flavor caught my eyes. I tried the hazelnut brownie gelato (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=H1rySEB3-C5COE2aglmvSw), medium in a cup. She told me that the small size was not available. As she scooped my gelato, I wandered to the rear counter and saw another menu board (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=DNHu8CwQQL9Qwx97vfTQWg). I am saving this for a future visit in case something appeals to my stomach for a future lunch. I walked back to the front cashier area and she rung me up, offering seating in the back area in addition to the two sidewalk tables in front. I passed on her offer, paid for my gelato, and walked to my car. The hazelnut brownie was rich but the flavors seemed a bit muted and not bold. The brownie pieces didn't really stand out and the hazelnut didn't add much to it. I will probably try the lychee one next visit. The gal at the cashier was very nice and friendly, helping me with a smile throughout. It's great to see more businesses along this block open now, a stark improvement from the past few years.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely gelato spot that stays open late in North Beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They've got tons of flavors ranging from the basics like "cookies and cream" all the way to exotic options like "lychee". A scoop costs about $5. It's a well stocked store and deli as well. Hard to pass up if I'm nearby.

I happened upon this lovely deli randomly, and I am so incredibly happy I did. My boyfriend and I both ordered sandwiches, which were humungous and as delicious as they were large. We also got the chicken salad which is so very delicious. While we were there both the manager and the man working the deli counter were friendly and all around awesome. To recap: delicious food, friendly staff, and above all it was so authentically Italian. A must for tourists and locals alike. read more

Excellent sandwich. One of the best I've had in SF. I got a Cubano, and I specially liked their black forest ham. The size was perfect for me, as well as the bread-meat-fillings ratio. I also had a gelato cone, and it was so good. I chose banana and bourbon with pecans, something like that. They have some tables, which is good, since delis sometimes don't. And the staff is really nice, helpful and easygoing. I strongly recommend this place for a quick unpretentious bite. Their food is delicious. read more

This is a terrific sandwich spot in north beach. If you're choosing between here and Molinaris I would choose this. The menu is a little more diverse and it's just as charming if not more. Friendly patrons and authentic Italian sandwich makers! Can't wait to go back read more

The staff are the coolest and most efficient at what they do. Always you are greeted with a smile and warm welcome! The food is great and so it the coffee. Freddie can make a mean brew. The food is tasty and there's plenty of snacks and beer to choose from. Also, gelato, gelato, GELATO! Tons of flavors! Def don't pass this up if you're in North Beach. read more

I'm a sales rep that drives all over the the Bay Area and beyond and there are few things that I appreciate more than a well made delicious sandwich for lunch, and can confidently report that this place provides exactly that and more. The menu is pretty expansive, and although I haven't tried them all, I've tried enough to know that even the pickiest sandwich connoisseurs will be very happy here. Highest recommendations. Alimento is the Ferrari of convenience stores in North Beach--heck in San Francisco. Hip, shiny, and clean, with all the "goodies". Fro-yo yogurt, Mitchell's Ice Cream, REALLY GOOD GELATO (blood orange is my favorite), deli sandwiches, plus all the ice cold drinks, mineral waters, and gourmet stuff you can think of. Even cigars. I always find something new it seems when I shop there. Whether it's hand made jams from Sweden, chocolate with sea salt, natural corn chips, or a new beverage, I keep scoring. My most recent discovery..."the Cuban" sandwich. Dang! Tasty! Seriously, one of the best sandwiched I have ever eaten. I literally savored every bite. Just like a good book, I started to slow down towards the end, making it last. I really, like their "toasted" sandwiches. Plus the owners are cool and they show sports on a large flat screen. They have some tables there too, if you want to relax and people watch. You have to check it out. But remember... Only cool people shop at Alimento. read more

I had their Milanese sandwich on whole wheat roll and bacon on it. Asked them to make it like a hot sandwich. It was bomb and was full of flavor. It tastes very fresh and high quality. They make the sandwich with a lot of care. It's not at all like some hurried job. This is my go to spot from now on when I get pastrami cravings. read more

There are few things as satisfying as walking into a place and having the staff remember both your name, and your drink order. Maybe I'm a little predictable and have a somewhat worrisome coffee addiction, but nonetheless, I love to be taken care of and Alimento is definitely the place to be a loyal customer. The atmosphere is always inviting, there's plenty of natural lighting, and they are open late. I take full advantage of the little bar top to use their wifi and work late at night. Sit here long enough and the temptation for a scoop of Mitchell's will definitely win you over. Not that I'm complaining! Alimento absolutely wins my heart for the perfect neighborhood market. read more

Wonderful little Italian Market! I was just visiting San Francisco and the owner was an incredibly sweet man. With wonderful suggestions and great customer service. The Caprese Sandwich was amazing and the Pumpkin Pie Soda was to die for. Not to mention the stellar Pistachio Gelato. I would recommend Alimento to anyone in San Francisco- city resident or tourist. read more

NEGATIVE STAR!! It should say young white girls only being served and Racial/sexual orientation haters on their door. Three of us came in and went to see the salamis that were hanging. A server was there and was looking at us since no one else was standing around us so i asked pointing what kind of salami that was. He said some thing and said they all are the same and turn his back making a sandwich, very rude. In my head, " how are the salamis all the same when they looked different". I gave him the benefit of the doubt since he was making a sandwich. We walked towards the wines but they were still stocking but an older man was very helpful asking if we had any questions we said we will come back later when its less hectic since its a narrow walk way. One hour later we returned and saw the gelato and stood to wait our turn to taste some sample before we decided. Same server from deli area came and he even recognized us saying "u guys returned" and just neva looked at us eye to eye when we said it was hectic earlier thats why we left to come back now since it was slow now and room to see the wines. i asked to sample two flavors he gives me jus one and he said "i thought you were ready to order" my girl asked for a sample of a flavor, still no eye contact because he was looking at all then other peoples. He then turns around and walks away to serve a young white girl instead. To think that was not bad enough you are mistaken. His coworker thats bald had seen us from the start but wouldn't give us eye contact since we got there. He knew what happened to us instead of continuing to help us he instead helps a new customer that just walked in that was another young white girl. One bad server is one thing but to have two back to back is unacceptable. This business could have even able to gain much more profit if you had not had those servers since we wanted to purchase not just gelato but salamis and bottles of wines as well. The few peps that are not treated right might just be the peps that you want to go to your company that could be loyal customers, CEO , CFO, Doctors, etc. that could have been a nite to see if uour store could have been on their list of vendors for their events that could really give you much more business than you already have. Never judge a book by its cover, karma is a B@#$h. Go to NAIA its across from this place and service is amazing and their sorbets i have tried are amazing. They know how to really treat people no matter what!! read more

We came here guided by such a high ratings, but we were disappointed by both the ice-creams and the service. The ice-creams were OK, but we were expecting more. The guy attending us was a bit rude. Wouldn't come again. read more

RUDE employees. Two different times they made mistakes and then were rude to ME about it. I've never paid so much for so little and I will never make that mistake again. The gelato was half melted and the worst I've ever had. But the rude employees was still the worst part. read more

Stingy with gelato. Only let's you try two flavors with the tiny spoons. Will not let you combine flavors in the small or medium sizes. (Don't know about larger sizes.) Not the best service. Quite expensive too. $3.75 for an itty bitty scoop. (No exaggerations in this review.) Hopefully they will change their practices for future folk. read more

I had a really negative experience here. It was my birthday, and I came to have ice cream with 7 of my family members. I tried a flavor, and asked for one more sample and the cashier told me in a very rude manner that that would be my last sample because he had a line, which consisted of only my family members. I was very disappointed in the service that I received. If you don't care about customer service, this place is okay. The Gelato was very good. I won't be coming back. Not a great place to visit on your birthday! :( read more

Gelato review only. This is average gelato. $4.75 for a medium that looks like a kids size. Across the street NAIA gelato far superior and less that $4 for same size, pus you can choose multiple flavors. I strongly recommend going elsewhere for gelato though based on reviews I might try sandwiches. read more

Believe me I wanted to like this place since I live in the neighborhood... But they are RUDE RUDE RUDE Its only right to justify my review with examples: 1. First visit while I was staring at the big menu.. Obviously engulfed in the huge selection if sandwiches... The older male worker is kicking a box of food across the floor and states " umm.. Move???" I stood there in shock and wanted to walk out. He should have picked up the box and went around?? It was sad this had to be the first greeting... The manager should fire this lazy guy. I order a sandwich and quickly leave 2. Visit #2: Late night sandwich run at 10pm. A younger guy is working.. Never greets me as I walk in through the back. I pick the Caprese sandwich and he asks if i want everything... He proceeds to make the sandwich without washing his hands. When he reaches for the bread I ask for Dutch crunch.. He turns around and gives me an annoyed look "I thought u said everything??" Visit #3: I came in for ice cream with my sister. The guy who is the owner greets us with a smile and we decide to try the ice cream. Too bad it tasted like an old refrigerator!! I usually don't waste food.. But the quality tasted so bad. We dumped our Ice cream and went across the street for gelato. That was the last straw.. ***Ailmento: your shop is in the center of a tourist attraction. If you want to make that sky high rent every month.. I highly suggest you send your workers back to customer service and sanitation school. I'd like to watch your store succeed but you have a lot of rotten apples in your basket.. read more

It'd been ages since I've been in the area, literally decades. After shopping there, we walked to the popular bakery on the other side of the street on the next block. While my friends walked in to browse, I notice the name of this store two doors west, learning where they relocated. Being full, I wasn't interested in eating or bringing anything home at the time but I made a mental bookmark of the location. Eight months later, my friend texted me, with summer upon us, that she had an ice cream craving. Since I was in the area for a vet appointment and was done early, I made my way here. Arriving just before 3 pm on Friday, I took a few photos before sharing them with a friend and studied the menu. My friend shared her order for two different flavors and I asked to sample a flavor before deciding on mine, all take home pints. This was the flavor that I tried in-store and the helpful gal there told me it is her favorite flavor. I enjoyed the intense flavors and there was no mistaking the sesame. Do note that the texture of the ice cream is what won me over as it stayed consistently frozen as I spooned it into my mouth. It is not overly rich yet it is thick and the texture remains consistent. Consistent with the sesame ice cream, I enjoyed the feel of it and the guava flavors were on point with being overly sweet. Again, I rationed myself to 1/3rd of the container per sitting since I had this after dinner. Given my timing, it isn't surprising that I was the only customer throughout my purchase. Thank you to Jaz for the recommendation and your patience in waiting as I got my friend's order and decided on mine. As I crossed the street to my car, I noticed three officers from SFPD walking in. It's good to see neighborhood locals supporting this local business. I look forward to returning before the summer ends. After all, what goes better with the summer than ice cream.

These are just a few of rotating flavors. There is a great selection to choose from, and you will say yes to all of them. Boysenberry cheesecake is one of my favorites, and the ricotta and lemon is a close second. The gelato is creamy, decadent, and each bite is a little taste of heaven. I adore this part of North Beach because there's so many wonderful restaurants, shops and being able to go to Lush gelato is truly the cherry on top!

Not to toot my own horn here, but I can get by in Italy on my eloquent-as-a-banshee Florentine when up north, thanks to my doctorate degree in taking my sweet ass time at CCSF. I can even wield what little Salentino has remained with me after all these years when I'm in Puglia. Trying to pronounce "L'inimitabile" in my head has been nothing short of self-inflicted emotional terrorism. Ever since my annual visits to Italy 20-25 years ago, I have been trying to find that "Nutella" flavor that used to be EVERYWHERE (I now know it wasn't literally Nutella but some hodgepodge of chocolate and hazlenut with the shade of brown of a German chocolate pie) in both Italy but also local gelaterias here like Naia. L'inimitabile is the closest but it still isn't quite there. Unfortunately, your product is too expensive (certainly for delivery) to be a regular visitor to our door but I do see us indulging on special occasions and possibly waltzing in when we are in the neighborhood! All the Naia locations disappeared but they apparently still ship product to supermarkets. I contacted Naia asking about that Nutella flavor they used to carry and they completely ignored me. I would've accepted a vague threat like "if we told you, we'd have to kill you" but ignoring me comes at a price. Maybe I'll leave a withering comment as a footnote in my review for a competing gelateria, then if you stumble upon this years down the road, I hope the embarrassment moistens a liquid charge down your pant leg.

The interior layout is small yet big enough to showcase several items for purchase; whole & ground coffee, jams, spreads, snacks, and even pasta sauces. And if gelato isn't your thing, they also have quite a bit of Italian cookies and desserts for purchase. Finally, if you wish to enjoy your gelato before it melts, they also offer a couple of small tables & chairs inside as well as one public restroom. Now onto the gelato itself! Much of their gelato is dairy-free & vegan plant-based with some of their gelato offering the addition of sugar, water and/or milk. They offer 4 different sizes (kids, small, medium, large) in either a cup or cone. And if you're thinking outside of the box, they also have a nice variety of espresso drinks as well as fresh pastries that are baked daily. Since I wasn't too hungry (after a big dinner), I went with a kids size cone of their "Italian Crema". This was a rich, velvety texture of creamy deliciousness. And since it was considering a 'kids' size, I didn't feel too guilty enjoying this. I will say that the customer service here was top notch as the employees allowed me to sample a few gelatos prior to narrowing down my selection. The prices are also quite reasonable as they are lower than some of the other places in San Francisco as well as gelato spots I've been to in Los Angeles and New York. With a charming interior setup, prime location, and delicious gelatos, I am giving "GIO Gelati" a perfect five-star rating.

During the day, they put a couple of tables out on the Capp Street sidewalk, and since this is the end of Capp that is barricaded, cars won't be rushing by. The ultimate get is to come when the taco truck is parked at the barricade. When that happens, you can enjoy some fine Mexican food-truck food and wash it down with some heavenly gelato. My only criticism: They need to fix the case! It has been cracked since 2023, if not before then.

I recently had a disappointing encounter with the customer service at Alimento Gelato Shop. As a regular customer and a fan of their delicious gelato, I expected a level of service that matched the quality of their products. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. When I approached the counter with my order, I was met with indifference from the staff. The employees seemed disengaged and unenthusiastic about their work. Their lack of enthusiasm translated into poor customer service, as they failed to greet me with a warm welcome or offer any assistance in making flavor choices. Additionally, the staff appeared uninformed about the different flavors and ingredients. When I asked for recommendations or inquired about specific flavors, they couldn't provide clear answers. It was frustrating to receive vague responses or simply be met with blank stares. While Alimento Gelato Shop has delightful gelato options, the lackluster customer service greatly detracted from the overall experience. The disinterested staff and their inability to provide helpful information or engage with customers left me feeling undervalued and unappreciated. As a regular patron, I believe that exceptional customer service should be a priority for any establishment, especially one that relies on customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, Alimento Gelato Shop fell short in this regard, and I hope they take this feedback into consideration to improve their customer service standards. read more

My husband & I needed to find a close (& quick) place to eat before our 8pm show for "Beach Blanket Babylon" and Alimento came up on Yelp! It was perfect, just a few buildings down the block from Club Fugazi. The service was inviting and very friendly - they even made room for us at the counter so we could sit and enjoy our sandwiches/drinks (with two cannolis to go). Now don't get me wrong...the food was quite good, but *way* more expensive than what we're used to paying at, say Genova Delicatessen in Oakland = $40.82 for two deli sandwiches, two drinks & two cannolis. By the way, the cannolis are not made fresh onsite, but shipped in from Italy ("fresh frozen") - I found that rather interesting and a bit disappointing...as it came thru in the taste. Not to mention we were hit with an addition "dine-in" fee to the cost of our order; apparently SF has a "dine in" surcharge - really SF, WTF??? At any rate, that's not Alimento's fault. If we were to return it would be because of the customer service, it was quite nice! We were even given a decent sampling of their chocolate gelato to enjoy on our way out, as their way of thanking us for our patronage. So overall, the food was good and the customer service we experienced was enough to give this a four star rating. One day I went looking for a new place to get sandwiches...being from New York City, I have always been disappointed at the quality of deli sandwiches here in SF--they're always too small, pretentious, and overpriced at once. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this place. For starters, the atmosphere is fantastic--it's an authentic New York Italian deli, stacked to the brim with wonderfully delicious food...and the sandwiches themselves are what real Italian deli sandwiches should be: great meats, cheeses, fresh ingredients, fabulous choices of bread...the guys who actually make the sandwiches really know what they're doing, especially one named Patrick, who made me the most killer tuna sandwich I have ever had--the tuna itself was great, plus with cheese, all sorts of vegetables, and mustard and mayonnaise both. They're such hearty sandwiches that I only have to eat half of one to feel completely satisfied. I can't stop going--once you start, it's a real addiction. The owner is great, too--a very nice man, very generous and open. ALIMENTO Is hands down my favorite place to go shop in North Beach where I live why? maybe because the store has always greated me with Awesome smiling good people. HOMOPHOBIC AND TRANSPHOBIC CLOSE MINDED BUSINESS. Ignorant and closed minded business hope all the LGBT community and allies boycott this hateful business. I went to this place yesterday and it is awful. I was paying and they told me "I refuse to serve you because you are a trans woman leave my business". I was DENIED SERVICE for being a transgender woman and the owner told me he hates gays and trans women. I called the police and I was told to leave because they "have the right to refuse service to anyone" so they can deny service to some one only for being gay or trans or for being who they are which is illegal. I just moved into the area about 2 months ago and have worked here for now 6 months right around the corner. Alimento is my fav spot in North Beach for everything! I go there just about everyday for lunch. Their quick and their sandwiches are to die for. - More importantly their location is very easy to find. Their very clean and all the food is fresh. They also have other things like gelato, coffee, milk, butter, souvenirs lol I can never get enough of Alimento. Also if you live in the area or always in North Beach remember to get their sandwich card. Buy 10 and get one free :) If anything make sure to go in and say hi to the owners Chris and Freddy. This hole in the wall deli/gelato place is the best gelato around town. My family and I have tried so many flavors and every flavors we've tried is highly recommended. Our top favorites are Passion Fruit, Coconut, Matcha Green Tea, Cookies & Cream and Vanilla Bean. I personally love getting a scoop of Passion Fruit and a scoop of coconut. In my opinion it is truly the match made in heaven combination. The tanginess of the Passion Fruit and the sweetness of the coconut just goes so well. They are all made their and it truly reminds me of being back in Hawai'i. We don't go out to the city often but if we are ever there, we go back as often as we can. I am a regular North Beach patron and have hit all the great spots, but I have to say that Alimento brings the best of the entire neighborhood into a one-stop shop. I am a huge ice cream/gelato/froyo fan, and lucky for me (and all of you non-diabetics), this place has it all. Aside from the delicious sandwiches, they sell gourmet and hard to find products as well as provide you the opportunity to test your luck on their lotto buys. But perhaps the factor that seals the deal for me is the hospitable and gracious owner Chris who makes you feel like family, and the wonderful friendly staff who always put a smile on my face. I work in the neighborhood and I'm grabbing lunch at Alimento once or twice a week. What keeps me coming back is the consistently high quality of the sandwiches, plus there's a pretty convenient selection of drinks and snacks - and the generous hours, since a surprising number of other area places have narrow lunch windows or are outright closed on Mondays. The guys who run the place are efficient and friendly; never had a problem with the service at all, though perhaps my bias is a little different as a sensible local, not a critical tourist. Worst customer service ever. Food looks not very good. I will not come back to Alimento. I've never seen three grown man so grumpy and unprofessional. I wanted to buy several items (olives, salads, Italian meats etc.) for our party tonight but when I entered no one wanted to help me. Two men were stressed out and were annoyed that they had customers. Unbelievable unfriendly. They were literally barking at me and another customer. The food looked not so good. This deli has the best sandwiches EVER! The Napolitano and the Alpino sanwhiches are my personal favorite, they are delicious and filling and are always best when toasted. They have a variety of gelato and ice cream which is always a must after you have one of their sandwiches! There was a big line out the door, but the guy behind the deli told me that he will get to me as soon as he finish with other customers and handed me a menu to look at while I was waiting. When he did come to take my order he apologized for the delay which was nice knowing how busy he was. I asked what his favorite is and he said mafioso. He wasn't lying. I went to ALIMENTO for snack and I lost my wallet there Kris made an effort to get my wallet back to me. I appreciate supporting the store business that is so honest and glad to have lost it there. One of my favorite gelato places in North Beach! I always get their lychee and green tea gelato and it hits every time. It is nice and refreshing and you know that it's good because they don't dress up their presentation and gelato. It is a bit pricey, but I think the cost is pretty much the same for all the gelato places in that neighborhood. They also sell other stuff like sandwiches. I've been to this spot numerous times with my girlfriend: the sandwiches are nothing short of fantastic! They have a bunch of designer status sandwiches, each with it's own unique style and flavors. We've have over 10 different options and every single one has been delicious. This is a great corner store & delicatessen. For me, the highlight of a visit is the Cuban sandwich, warmed. I have tasted gelato and yogurts, both excellent. Above All, the service and friendliness made the delicatessen a favorite place for lunch, coffee, or just to drop by for some coconut water.
