We came here for the first time on a Sunday around 2PM. This place is very serious about timing your meal the time when you are sat. The clock starts ticking! Lol For lunch, it's $30 per person on weekends. It's similar to Shabuya. They offered different kinds of meat you can order from the server and the rest is self served. They need to do a better job at refilling their self served items. Also, we were very disappointed that their ice cream machine was broken! I want to start off by saying that I'm not a huge fan of AYCE anything... However, I visited this shabu spot a hand full of times in a three week span... That means after the first few weeks, I was shabu'd out! And being shabu'd out and giving a 4 star rating is fantastic! I would consider this shabu spot more towards 4.5 stars. I can confidently say that this AYCE shabu spot is better than other AYCE shabu spots I've ever been to. However, the deduction for the point was for improvement in a better system for waitlists for seating people. It gets pretty packed during dinner and writing your name on a notebook wasn't really doing it. At least take our phone numbers down for confirmation or invest a little on some type of app... On to the food, lunch prices are approximately $25 and dinner $30. As soon as you are seated, they set you up with individual pots and wheel over a cart of different soup bases. My first time, I was recommended to get a 50/50 soup by one of the servers. I opted for the 50/50 miso & spicy beef. The second time, I got the 50/50 pork bone & spicy beef. Those two have been what I've gotten thereafter... They have a decent selection of meats and veggies. I personally think they have better meat quality here than elsewhere... They also have a pot of rice and other cooked foods in the corner such as japchae, bulgogi, candied sweet potato, and sesame balls with red beans. Included within the AYCE price are drinks and soft serve ice cream. I think it's a tad bit more expensive than other AYCE shabu spots but other spots don't include drinks and dessert. All That Shabu is my go-to AYCE shabu restaurant in the neighborhood. The best deal is if you can catch the weekday lunch but if not then the dinner/weekend prices are reasonable. If you don't like waiting, try to grab a table for an early dinner because the line is no joke during prime dinner hours. Unfortunately, there is no Yelp waitlist available- only paper and pen check-in list. Free parking is available in the open lot or in the parking structure. The quality of the meat is always consistent. My personal favs are #2 beef belly (love the marbling), #9 signature beef ribeye, and #10 beef chuck flap. As for the sauces, the ponzu with garlic and green onions is a classic but the perilla with cilantro is out of this world! I always grab a bowl of spicy pickled cucumbers - honestly the best I ever had at any restaurant. It's tangy, crunchy, sweet & sour and so delicious. The veggies are plentiful and fresh. The seafood options are decent. I usually grab the prawns, clams, octopus, and scallop. Note the self-serve stations can get messy very quickly but they do a good job to try to clean up after people's messes. Make sure to save some room for noodles (my personal favs are the spinach noodles and flat glass noodles) and cook it in that delicious broth at the end. But there's no way I can visit during lunch hour 11:30am to 3pm Monday to Friday. Meat #8-11(additional) only available during dinner and weekend (filet mignon, ribeye, chuck flap and lamb shoulder). 3 choices of meat per table per round. Lol photos can be deceiving- so extremely thin sliced. Salad bar had a lot of good choices in veggies, fish/shrimp/crab stick balls, seafood (squid/crab/fish/baby octopus/shrimp/crawfish), kimchi & radish, ramen, different kind of noodles, eggs, and hot items. Green tea, black tea and soda are included in the price. Beer/soju/sake are extra priced. Ice cream included. I usually don't say "go to" unless I really like it. All that Shabu is ayce. It's $25.00 per person for lunch, and $30.00 per person for dinner. They practically immediately start you off after you sit with a soup base. I usually order the beef bone, or the miso, with a tad of spicy beef base for a kick. The quality of the meat is good, I think better than other hot pot places. We could request for three different plates of meat each time per the server. The Wagyu Beef and the Iron Chuck Eye is good, in my opinion. But there's more to choose from including Pork Belly, Chicken, and Lamb. But FYI, the lunch menu choices is fewer than the dinner one. They have an open self service area where there are vegetables, seafood, Quail Eggs, Bonchons, and more vegetables. There is also a self-service sauce area, a drinks fountain, and more vegetables! All good. I love their beef, spinach, corn, small half crabs, and the drinks fountain. Oh yeah, don't forget the ice cream swirls machine. Anyhow, this place is busy during dinner time. One of my favorite shabu restaurants! The food & the service here has always been great. My favorite soup is the spicy beef & miso mix. The broth is very flavorful & I always add some type of noodle at the end of my meal. All of the shabu meats are great quality and other items at the buffet area are fresh too. It was super busy but the servers came by a few times when we flagged them down to refill meat and broth. Broths were all pretty bland and not as deep or flavorful as we would have liked. This place is absolutely atrocious and I'm convinced all the 5 star reviews are either paid for or from bots. I ate here thinking it was gonna be amazing due to all the 5 star reviews but it ended up being even worse than Jazz cat (no offense)... The service was horrible and it was so difficult to get helped, the meats were all so thin and no matter how l cooked them they were really chewy and rubbery, and all the broths were pretty bland. Everything from the sidebar had a weird, old freezer aftertaste and all the side dishes were stale and tasted like they were left out since yesterday. Even the sauces were all bland and watery. All That Shabu is a welcome addition to the plethora of AYCE hot pot restaurants in the SGV area. While some restaurants have good quality meat but a poor selection in the salad bar (or vice versa), I would say that All That Shabu manages to put out good quality meat along with a fairly decent selection in both salad bar and cooked food options. This location recently opened up in the Sprouts and Burlington plaza and they're already pretty busy on weekends. I've been here twice for dinner - both times during a weekday and they get busy quickly around 6-8 PM. Prices are $23.99 during weekday lunch, $29.99 during weeday dinner, weekends, and holidays. For $6 more, you get the option to choose from the dinner/weekend meat selections, which I think is pretty worth it. There's the usual brisket, pork belly, flat iron steak, but their special meats include filet mignon, ribeye, lamb, and chuck flap. And the meat that they serve is cut pretty thinly, with each plate looking fresh every time. Everybody gets their own hot pot where you choose the selection of soup (original, miso, vegetarian, beef bone, or spicy beef) before you get the opportunity to tackle the hot appetizers and salad bar. They have the usual chicken, kimchi, sesame balls, japchae, fried rice while the salad bar has a variety of vegetables (spinach, bok choy, kale, squash, bean sprouts, corn, mushroom), seafood items (clams, crawfish, shrimp, octopus, scallop, mussels) and noodle selections (udon, spinach noodles, instant ramen, potato ramen, glass noodles). They's also a variety of fish balls, various fish balls, fish tofu, fried tofu, lotus root, etc. So overall, a good selection of items to fill in your hot pot. There's unlimited soda or unsweetened green/black tea as well as a soft-serve ice cream machine. And of course, the sauce bar. Because this is more of a Korean AYCE hot pot, they don't offer satay, which was a little disappointing when I brought my parents. But they do have ponzu, sesame, wasabi ponzu, peanut and garnishes including garlic, cilantro, radish to whip up your sauce creations. So yeah, there's probably something for everybody! When I went to eat with my co-workers, we ordered plates of meat continuously so I didn't really know which ones I was eating except that it all tasted really good. Meats were soft and tender, some a bit more fatty than others. And I do think I enjoyed the ones in the weekend/dinner selections more than the regular menu. I will say that the broth isn't anything special. For $30, if you maximize on the meats and eat a good amount of vegetables, seafood - it will likely seem worth it at the end of the meal. Workers were pretty helpful even when the restaurant was super busy. Right now because of Covid, they're asking that customers use the provided gloves when gathering ingredients. They also ask that you eat for a maximum of 2 hours, but I didn't really see anybody sit there for too long. If you read some of the reviews saying how the soups are bland, they are incorrect. The soups aren't bland... they are WHAT IN THE HOO HAH IN-CRED-IB-LY... bland! During my first visit, I got the spicy beef. It was hardly spicy with no flavor at all. I was only able to drink a few sips of the soup before I gave up and boy let me tell ya, I LOVE SOUP so this was beyond disappointing. On my most recent visit, I asked for half miso/half spicy beef. It was a little bit better but you can still tell by looking at the soup that it's not going to be flavorful. I had to add a loooot of garlic before I was able to drink one bowl of soup. For this reason alone, I'm docking one star (more like 1.5 stars, maybe 2 but we can't give halfsies) The meats are super thin but tender. Every table is allowed 3 plates of meat per order. For a party of 2, the amount is ok. We got the meats quick but we also finished them quick. When the meat person brings you the meats, they just put it on the table and walk away. They let you play a guessing game since they don't tell you which is which. The veggie & seafood selection at the food bar is decent. One annoying thing is they're not properly labeled or labeled at all which can be confusing for those who aren't familiar with hot pot items. The button mushrooms don't look like they've been cleaned at all but I eat them anyways :') They have regular white tofu and fish tofu but no frozen tofu :( Sauce bar was good too. So many options, we'll have to keep coming back to perfect our broth and meat/veggie combination. AYCE locations can be hit or miss. Glad we had a good experience. We had been meaning to try All That Shabu since it opened. We were greeted right as we approached door and advised that last call on food was 8:30pm (we arrived at 8pm), but we were welcome to stay longer until what we had on our table was consumed. As soon as we sat down, our drink and soup base orders were taken. I chose the miso base. We were then asked for our meat choices. We had up to 6 meat options. The waygu and beef rib eye were my favorite. While we waited for our meat, we made our way to the self serve salad bar. The bar provided veggies, egg, sides (rice, noodles), seafood, dumplings, and so much more. In addition to sides, fountain drinks, and an array of sauces are available to choose from. I can see so many options being a little overwhelming, so I tried to keep it as simple as possible. We quietly enjoyed cooking and eating our dinner. As last call rolled around, a server asked if there were any other meat orders we'd like to place. With several meat trays still on the table, we politely declined. As we continued to work through our food, a man (manager maybe) must have noticed our bowls low in liquid and offered to fill our soup base again despite last call passing. On a Saturday afternoon, my friend and I came for lunch with no wait. In fact, the restaurant was very spacious and roomy, which is a huge plus during COVID-19. Once we sat down, we ordered our broth and meats. You get to choose 3 kinds of meat each round for the entire table. They're very good about getting your next round and clearing out your table once you have empty dishes. For the broth, I had the Spicy Broth which was full of flavor and kick. I don't know what the people who say the broth is bland are talking about. The only bland was the green and black tea, but honestly not a big deal. We also had many rounds of meat with our favorite being the #9 all that shabu signature beef ribeye. The meats are all thinly and beautifully sliced up for easy cooking. Overall, they were all great options. On top of that, there's a side bar of various sauces, seafood, veggies, and banchans. I was able to try a little bit of everything, which is awesome! For seafood, there are soft shell crabs, shrimp, lobster balls, crawfish, fishcake, clams, mussels, and more. Heard many raving reviews of All That Shabu from friends who have gone so I needed to come give it a try myself. The restaurant is fairly large but it does get crowded during peak times. We waited approximately 30 minutes for a table for 10 during the lunch rush. Upon seating, we were greeted by our waitress and selected our broth (individual pots per person) and meat selection (3 meat orders at a time). Loved the little bit of chew from the brisket! I opted for the half beef and half spicy beef soup to get a subtle kick without the spice overpowering the broth. After we placed our order, we went to the self serve station and I was SO overwhelmed, but in a good way! There was a huge selection of veggies, seafood, hot foods, sauces, and drinks - all included in the $30 price tag for weekends. As expected, the hot foods were just okay but it was nice to have that option. Some of the seafood was quite fishy tasting but I didn't expect much considering the large variety available. I mainly stuck with the veggies, fish, and clams from the self serve bar. Goma sauce was a little thick and not smooth like the normal I'm used to having but the flavor was still there. You order the broth and meats from the server and get veggies and other sides from the bar kinda cafeteria style. I got the beef bone broth. It was really good. You get to order 3 meats at time. My friend and I went thru all of them. They were all good but I think you can skip the pork belly. The setup is great, you have your own pot instead of shared, which I prefer. So I'm a big fan of all you can eat shabu/hot pot restaurants, especially on cold wintery nights. Heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, so had to load the family up and come try it out. We tried to show up a little early for dinner to avoid the dinner rush, but, I guess everybody else had the same plan, at 4pm, still had about a 30 min wait. Finally got our table and much to my displeasure, tables were set in numerous rows, connected to other tables, end to end. Unfortunately, our table was in the middle of two other parties, so both ends of our table was seated next to a perfect stranger, shoulder to shoulder, elbow to elbow. Even with Covid easing up, we just felt our personal space was being intruded on. Our dishes were next to their dishes, my elbow actually brushed up against the persons elbow a few times, accidentally of course, but all this closeness didn't really allow me to completely enjoy my dinner tonight. Sally Papa is no longer here next to the Big Catch. It's taken over by a new AYCE hot pot place, which opened recently. (Mini-So also moved over a bit, and Sephora replaces that old area.) There is a large parking lot, but it's shared by so many businesses, including Burlington. It gets crowded quick, so I'd recommend coming ~5 min early to get a spot. All That Shabu offers hand sanitizer at the entrance host table and around the buffet area. They also have gloves and napkins. Masks are required inside and when getting food at the buffet. The restrooms are in the way back. My first impression of All That Shabu wasn't great. They have a notebook for you to write down your name and number in the party. The girl at the register had like no role except to look pretty. The guy calling out names was short and rude. He would cross out a few names, so it made the wait time seem shorter than they quoted. If you checked with him after a while, you'd realize that he crossed out your name without actually calling it. He'd claim that he did. Everyone is literally waiting outside the building, so there's no way no one heard him. If I could change one thing, it would be this process. Perhaps they could look into the Yelp waitlist, like a program that can text people when tables are ready. When you get seated, you are offered choice of soup in your individual pot. You can adjust your own stove heat level. Then you can order 3 plates of meat at a time, but this is for your entire table. Best meat imo is the ribeye, offered at dinner and weekends only. You can see them cutting the meats, which was pretty neat. The rest of the food is self-served, including Pepsi fountain drinks. Notable items included shrimp, fish balls, tong ho, quail egg, bamboo, (blue?) crab, and lotus root. They had ramen noodles, but they did not have glass noodles. They had some side dishes like spicy cucumber and kimchi. There were hot foods like sesame red bean balls, fried chicken nuggets, chapjae (Korean glass noodle), fried rice, and orange chicken. They had a huge pot of white rice. The soft serve ice cream machine was down during my visit. Perhaps they could offer fruit, like orange slices. The sauce bar: sesame sauce and "ponze" were delicious, the spicy one was ok, and the wasabi ponze was interesting to try. For dinner they were obviously really busy. It was hard to find someone to refill soup or order more meat. Service, except that dude in the front, was otherwise good. Overall I enjoyed the meal. I am writing this the day after my visit, and I haven't had stomach issues, except from eating too much. I would visit again when/if the wait time dies down hopefully. read more

Came here for lunch with my buddy. The restaurant wasn't too crowded and we got seated right away. The broths are already in pitchers so the servers fills up your pot right away. The salad, premade food, veggies and seafood sections are in the back along with the sauces. So pretty neat and I had high hopes. The Good: The sauces are the best thing here. There was no sauce I did not like. 10/10. The Bad: Everything else. The service was awful. My friend and I were told to only old 3 meats at a time but we saw many other tables ordering more than 3. When we did order more than 3, they took 10+ minutes to get it out. Not only that, at one point the lady seem to have forgotten out order as she looked super confused and that was already 15min of waiting. So we asked another waitress and next thing you know our table had 9 meats of the same kind ALL AT ONCE. I now know where to go for my shabu shabu cravings. All that Shabu is fairly new because when I asked, server replied its only been 6 weeks. The restaurant is very clean and organized. Being a brand new restaurant, it is given. The interior is modern but kept very simple. I love that this place has so many options that other restaurants dont offer. For example, they got fountain drinks as well as green tea, black tea and lemon water all for self-serve. Salad bar has the most popular Korean food like Japchae, Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken as well as plain fried popcorn chicken, Kimchi and more. So for Shabu Shabu!! All I can say is that their meat is top quality. I have never seen such a high quality meat in AYCE Shabu Shabu restaurants. It does take time for you to get your meat because I believe they slice the meat upon every order. Thats probably why its fresh but kept high quality throughout your dining experience. My favorite meat was from the dinner option; Filet Mignon and Angus Choice Beef Chuck Flap. They both literally melted in my mouth. All other meat choices were beyond my expectation as well. I had Spicy Beef as my broth and I enjoyed it. Honestly, it wasnt spicy for me though it was very red. My mom had the bone broth and it was good too. Other choices are Orignal House, Miso and Vegetarian. You get 7 choices of meat for weekday lunch price $23.99 and it goes up to 11 choices for dinner & weekend for $29.99. Just for your information, after 3 PM, you will be charged dinner price. There are veggies and other nonmeat/seafood options available at the self serve area as well as the condiments including ponzu, peanut, sesame and more. Servers are generally nice and attentive but I want to say it depends on who you get. My first server was dry but my second server was friendly and quick. They will come and check to see if you need broth or meat refilled. Restroom is super clean, again, probably because this whole facility is new and I hope they keep it this way. Deductions came from the fact they ran out of rib eye and below average service. They do have a good variety of soup base and hot pot ingredients that are not sad looking. Service though... not attentive enough to 1) refill my soup base, 2) did not come around enough to take down the meat order (you can only order 3 selections at once). Presentation matters. The meat themselves were very thinly sliced that made them seem underwhelming. Not likely to intentionally return. read more

Shabuya has dominated the AYCE Shabu scene in the 626 for some years now, but All That Shabu gives them a run for their money. At a similar price point, it comes down to quality of food, variety, and service. The meat quality was great, especially number 3, the marbling was even throughout. I believe they also have more meat options compared to Shabuya, and more beef heavy. Albeit I'm mainly there for the meat, I appreciated the side dishes, like fried chicken, japchae, and sesame ball. They also had ice cream (subpar, but it is AYCE after all so I'm not complaining) and a soft drink/tea station. Due to the restaurant being smaller than Shabuya, the meat seemed to come out more quickly when ordered, and the staff was very polite even through the hectic dinner rush. There was only a short 5 min wait for a party of 6 on a Sunday night. We were served immediately and had soups in our pots within a few minutes. The waiter also graciously offered to add more soup to the pot halfway through the meal. read more

My buddy turned me on to this place. I've tried Chinese and Thai hot pots before but was never really too impressed. This place is Korean style hot pot if Im not mistaken. Im hooked. I've since tried more upscale Korean shabu spots but for your regular no special occasions this place is perfect. The meats are relatively good quality and fresh. The selection of veggies and seafood are pretty good. The service is good, I wouldn't say great, and the reason I say that is because the last time I was there I had to wait a long time to receive my meat trays and No one has ever come by to offer more soup base. Aside from that, the ambience is nice, everything looks neat and clean. The music is a little funny sometimes. The food is delicious. I've been comming here at least once a week lately. read more

Came to All That Shabu on Friday for dinner (AYCE Hot Pot $29.99/pp - fountain drinks included!) before 6pm and was seated immediately. Their menu says they have a 2 hour limit, but I'm not sure how strict they are with enforcing. They have 5 broth choices, but it seems like you can honestly mix and match their broths, since I did when I needed to add more soup. All the vegetables, seafood, carbs, sauces, Korean banchan, fountain drinks and soft serve ice cream are self service, but they do provide gloves at each station. Dinner/Weekend menu has 4 additional meats. I would say to order more meats when you're about halfway thru your first order bc they slice the meats as the orders come in, so sometimes it might take a little while. They bring out 1 tray of meat per person in your party. I personally liked #2, 3, and 9. I liked their Miso broth, but it did get to be a bit too salty after I cooked my veggies and meat so I added vegetable broth when refilling the soup. Next time I might try their Spicy Beef. Their sauces were all good but I favored the Ponzu, Sesame and Peanut sauces. Definitely a fan and will be returning! =) read more

So good! The meat, the noodle selections, and the ice cream Came here with my husband and two friends. Didn't make reservations, it was a week night at 6:30pm and we were able to get seats! You choose the broth first (4 options) and then the meat selections. There is a buffet style for some cooked foods (their meatballs are good, the dumplings, and the sesame balls). There is also buffet style for the veggies (my fav are spinach and bok choy), noodles (spinach noodles, udon, and ramen are my fav), and lots of other food items! You can choose many different sauces (sesame is my choice of sauce there). And there is an ice cream machine (the usual vanilla, mixed, or chocolate) with cute tiny spoons and little plastic cups. The servers/waiters/waitresses are super nice and took my plate once. They come back once in awhile to ask if you need more broth too. It's about $31 per a person for all you can eat. It's very yummy and I recommend it! Plenty of parking as well and located next to so many other stores. read more
