Solid AYCE shabu spot in 626. I've come here twice already during off hours (2-3pm) on a weekend and never had to wait. I'm very impressed with the meat quality and I enjoy their premium meats (available during dinner/weekends). I recommend getting their spicy beef soup base because it's the one that has the most flavor (but still isn't as flavorful as I want it to be).. and if you want something light, get their beef bone broth! Giving this place a 4/5 just because the soup bases aren't as good as most shabu spots but it does the job! I love how they have a self-serve bar which is nice because you don't have to wait for the server to come by unlike some places. Service has always been good, no complaints! Been here 2x, for lunch and dinner. I liked both times. A bit overwhelming for first-timers but you'll get how things work here rather quickly. For that reason, tables can't be moved closer, especially if you have a group of 5+ people. Drinks (soda, teas are included) which is a plus. Choose your own broth when you sit down. Then choose your meats. Read your placemat for all other pertinent details. Staff is hit or miss, especially when you wanna order more meat. Make sure to check your drink cups, mine had some debris inside from a previous customer:( For the price, the offerings here are quite varied and reasonable and if you gorge for your two-hour limit, you'll be very full for the remainder of the day. I heard that the restrooms aren't kept up, so I went to check for myself, plus I really had to use the facilities. Unfortunately, the restroom (men's) could have used some attention and a better ventilation system. I would say that everyone has their shabu shabu preferences but this place does it pretty well...there is something for everyone. There was a pretty long wait on a Saturday night (~1 hour). The meat is decent. For AYCE it's pretty good. They have different beef options, chicken, pork, and a few others available only on the weekends. Their buffet has a variety of stuff including appetizers, veggies, seafood, and more. The seafood in the buffet itself was not good. The mussels, clams, fish balls, crab, pretty much all the seafood options were tasteless, assuming because they serve frozen seafood that's probably been frozen for months. My family used to go here at least once a month to eat and the service was always quick and efficient but recently they've become slower, the workers give you your meats 10+ minutes after you ordered (they used to get them to your table in 3-5) giving you less time to eat and order more (there is a 2 hour time limit). And once your time limit is done they quickly usher you to pay and leave. We return here with a group of friends who share that we found a new location to enjoy our Shabu. It's better than driving to Shabuya. There is a path on the BA side in the direction of a big parking lot. Quite a reversal in wait time. They have 4 sorts of stock for you to choose from Original House, Beef Bone Stock, Spicy Beef Stock and Miso. Now you can adjust it to your taste however you like. Each has its own controller to adjust the heat you want to heat your soup from the P1-P5 scale is the max. Each table allows you to order 3 basic meat trays on your choice of course some guests like to waste food. They'll make you pay an extra $5 on how much food you wasted . Not like other places they charged you add'l 50%. Sometimes I disagreed with the statement of customer is always right need to base on the situation. They also have a tons of selection seafood , lobsters , squid , fish balls, fish cake, veggies, etc. ice creams, different kind of dessert. Definitely will come back. I'm not much of a shabu or hotpot person but I had a great time here. I dined on a Thursday evening at around 7:15pm in a party of two. We waited maybe 10 minutes to get seated and from then on, everything came out so quick. The meats are all great quality and it doesn't get worse the more you order like some other restaurants. The vegetables are all high quality as well. The sides in the hot buffet are all top quality as well. It's difficult to find good korean sides in the 626 and this place delivers. Services gets 5/5 because of how quick they served the meat and how often they checked on me and my dining experience. Quality of food gets 5/5 because each meat stays in good quality even after multiple orders and they all taste great. Price is fair and I don't think I can give that a rating. $30/person for dinner and weekends are pretty much market price at this day and age. I'd come back here at least once a month. read more

They did have an unlimited ice cream machine that most places do not have, but keep in mind about where you are when getting it. Pros: Meats are pretty good quality. Good selection of broths. Sauces are very tasty (especially the creamy garlic that has quite the kick to it). Selection at the cold bar (vegetables, seafood, etc.) is also pretty good but could have more greens. Fair price. Cons: This is why I probably won't be returning. People working here from the second you get there to the second they literally kick you out (more on that in a moment) are about as unfriendly as I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Charm school for EVERY employee should be mandated. What a group of sourpusses. This restaurant has a 2 hour limit. They don't advertise this until you sit down, but fine. I have been to all you can eat sushi places or Korean BBQ that have a similar policy but usually they whisper "we don't enforce it". Not only do they enforce it here but they are totally dishonest about it. We had a reservation for 5:30PM. We were all there at 5:30 and they informed us that "they had to get our table ready". They also added "go wait outside". Exactly like that and in the tone that you can imagine. Like we were bad children or something. I'm sure I had at least 30 years on the rude young woman who told me this. So they finally call us in around 5:45PM, they sit us down, someone comes over and asks about broths, and finally someone gives us the menu and this is the first time anyone mentions the 2 hour limit. By now it is about 6PM. But so far, no harm, no foul from my perspective. But at EXACTLY 7:30 they bring us the bill. No notice, no "we are going to cash you out would you like to order anything else" maybe around 7PM. No. At 7:30 on the dot they bring us the bill. People were still finishing their meals and they came back within 5 minutes and said "a lot of people are waiting outside so can you hurry up. We need this table". WHEN I AM EXACTLY ON TIME AND YOU TAKE 30 MINUTES TO SEAT US AND TAKE OUR ORDER DON'T COME OVER AND TELL ME 2 HOURS IS UP. THAT IS 1.5 HOURS AND IT IS WAS ALL YOUR DOING. The other annoying thing they did is they asked how old the 2 small kids were like 5 times. They asked when I made the reservation. They asked when we checked-in. They asked when they explained the broths. They asked when they handed out the menus. And they asked before they brought the bill (THAT they did ask). I mean come on? Are you that disorganized? Are you trying to see if I say the same thing every time? I guess as I write this I realize that numbers and counting is not their strong suit. Nor is being friendly or even courteous as already stated. Maybe I will go back and give them another try. But if that happens we are ALL going to be on the EXACT same page as to when the clock starts on their 2 hour limit. Above average all you can eat Shabu. The reason for the 4 star rating is the price. Compared to similar offerings in the area, this is cheaper than most all you can eats. Meat is thinly sliced and while a few options are too fatty for me, there are plenty that are more lean. You get to order 3 plates of meat at a time and order another 3 again when you want more. Soft drinks including unsweetened tea and sodas are included in the price, which again is much cheaper compared to most other places. Plenty of choices at the bar for vegetables, fishballs, squid, etc. However, some options are somewhat tasteless and bland. To offset that, you have to use lots of sauce. Soup bases are also somewhat bland, but you can customize by adding chili peppers or sauces. read more

It's Monday night and we made a reservation for 6 at 5:00pm. However, one pair was a bit delayed in traffic, and then couldn't find parking. When the other couple arrived, it was 5:15pm. The restaurant filled up quickly and suddenly we no longer had a table. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes before they offered up separate tables. Why, would we want to sit separately? Maybe they thought we would punish the late couple? We refused, their offer. Another 8 minutes passed and a party of 5 was seated before us, even though they just arrived. We wondered if they got seated separately. Another 10 minutes we finally were called. Apparently that party of 5 were seated together. Hmm, maybe their math wasn't that good, or didn't understand that if you can seat five, you can seat 6, minus the empty chair. Nevertheless we were finally seated. We each had our own bowls and I ordered the beef broth soup. It was pretty bland as expected, and later asked for the spicy beef broth, that was not spicy either but better than the non-spicy. I headed over to the self service counter and filled up on greens, mushrooms and bean sprouts. Another plate filled with clams, frozen fish, frozen scallops, and supposedly what looked like soft shelled crab. As the soup boiled I pour the seafood in, Maybe it was too much at once because it took along time to reboot and cook the frozen seafood. The crab was not soft shell and difficult to eat, not much meat in the tiny legs. The clams and scallops were much easier. I tired the crawfish but they was not worth the effort unless the soup was more spicy. It just lack the flavor. The meats like ribeye was much better tasting than any of the other cuts. The other lack any flavor. I went back for shrimp because it would taste better and would have more meat. I did like the variety and plenty of choices of cold drinks. It just lack hot drinks like hot tea. Maybe we had to order that with the waitress which I didn't ask. As for dessert, the fried yams, sesame balls, and soft-serve is not too bad. Just the sesame ball we're too thick and hard. I was hoping for some sweet asian drink like hot/cold tapioca or red bean, or lotus soup. Ok, each couple paid their share, and it came up to $36/person include tax and automatic tip. Hmm, maybe in SGV, $43 is normal but coming from LV, it's a bit high. If I could give this restaurant a 3.5-star rating, I would--the food is good but there could be some minor changes to the service. Came here on a Wednesday night at about 8:30 p.m. and it was an okay experience. Restaurant was still pretty full and we waited about 5 minutes before actually getting a table. Once we were seated, we were greeted by servers who explained the menu to us and brought out our broth on a little cart. You're allowed to order up to 3 meats at a time and the quality is pretty good for AYCE. Toppings and other ingredients are served buffet/salad bar style, however, be warned that there is a high-risk of cross contamination. Tongs are placed on small plates and people were just using any available utensil to pick up food regardless of what it touched. Also, I noticed there was a box of gloves for diners to use when using the tongs, but no one was really using them and staff weren't enforcing it. Hand sanitizer was available, but just be mindful of this when dining here. I got the beef bone broth which in my opinion was kind of bland, but there's a sauce station near the self-serve area where you can amp up the flavor with toppings like garlic and scallions. Certain sauces, such as soy sauce and chili oil, are in a public basket with tiny cups for you to bring back to your table. I enjoyed the fact that there was a plethora of ingredients you could add to your broth including a variety of seafood (shrimp, squid, mussels, fish balls, etc.), vegetables (spinach, cabbage, mushrooms, etc.), and carbs (udon, noodles, etc.). In addition to this, they also have Korean side dishes (banchan) like japchae, kimchi, and popcorn chicken. Meat quality was good for AYCE, however, I noticed the leaner cuts of meat tended to instantly disintegrate into the broth. My favorite was the wagyu-style beef short plate because of the marbling--delicious! Now, here is where All That Shabu can improve... Because it was my first time here, I wish the servers would've said which cuts of meat were what when they brought them to the table. We kind of had to guess what we were eating with the meats, but a nice "this plate is this, and this plate is that" would be really helpful. Even though we dined in kind of late, I didn't like the fact that we felt kind of rushed. Last call was at 9:30 p.m. but by then we had only one round of meat because the meat didn't come out as quickly as we were anticipating. We essentially had to double our order since we were only allowed to order up to five meats at last call. When they say the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m., this also means the self-serve area closes, too. I tried to refill my drink after 9:30 p.m., and most of the servers were cleaning up and the drink station was closed so I returned to my table empty handed. I did appreciate the fact that one of the servers offered to refill my drink after they cleaned the drink station--that was unexpected and I really appreciated her going out of her way to refill my drink. Although service wasn't the best this time, I would still come back here. Quality of the food was pretty good and I like how you can grab as many shabu ingredients as you want. Puta Madre! Where do I start! So my family and I have been mourning the loss of Souplantation since they closed their doors at the beginning of the pandemic. It is a loss that we felt until we went to All That Shabu! Now this is a eaters experience if you know how to play your cards right! All the fixings, all the toppings you could possibly want on a shabu experience are there! The combinations are endless! You like broth and onions you say?! Done! You like lots of garlic?! Done! You are a maniac that prefers cold soup?! Done again! You do you BOO BOO! No one is judging! This place is all you can eat and the price is right. Just please make sure you don't tell too many people about this place because the wait time will increase or at least go before dinner or not on the weekends. Also, maybe walk there and walk back because the food coma you will experience after eating here is epic!
