I'm not sure if that's all they serve, but the egg was delicious along with the croissant which was baked here. I ordered a vanilla cake with fruity pebble sprinkles and a small coffee. Sitting down at the classic table took me back to childhood days of getting 2 donuts for a dollar in middle school and I just enjoyed it. :) Biting into my donut felt perfect. It was the perfect amount of cake and lite crunch, cooked to perfection, showing that this shop knows the art of donuts. The vanilla frosting was on point and the fruity pebbles accented the donut perfectly with a nice cup of black cawfee. Go check this place out!

The kids were sweet. 2) place was clean, a few tables you can sit inside and eat your treats, a kids corner for the little ones to play, a few items on the side you can buy and take home. 3) they have several different toppings you can choose from, different size waffle bowls and cup sizes. 4) glad they provided wet wipes. We got some ice cream on our hands and arms by accident and the wet wipes helped. 5) we got the mango sorbet with a little brownie on it and the Dr Pepper float. Both tasted great! You can taste the mango in the mango sorbet. 6) there are cookies you can buy to add on too. I'll have to try their cookies next time I go there. 7) Cons 1) none Conclusion We really liked this place. Everyone was so nice and professional. Place was clean. Sweets were delicious. You can take your food to go, eat in the cafe, or eat at the museum when it's available. They are well known for their bean pies, vegan nachos, and fish. I really love the vegan nachos because the nacho sauce is vegan and made by scratch from their own recipe. I can't eat regular nacho cheese without it messing up my stomach, so this is fabulous that I get to enjoy nachos with no issues. You get to pick the toppings but I usually get the works with everything on it. The fish sandwiches are bomb.com as well. They also give back to the community through workshops and hiring youth to help. This is such a wonderful cafe for the community.

I walked out of the cookie shop having spent only spending $5 (including tip). The inside of the store had a contemporary, inviting feel. The staff member who assisted me was affable. I said that's fine, then can I at least have the regular 4-pack box since that's what the menu advertises? She still said no. Instead, she put each huge cookie in a tiny wax paper sleeve, didn't give me a box, and didn't even offer a bag. She just left them on the counter for us to grab. As we were walking to the car, one slipped out of my daughter's hand. She handed me the other three and was about to go back inside when two more slipped out of my hands because those little sleeves were so slippery. By then we were so annoyed that we didn't even want to go back in and deal with the same employee. We got in the car, and the last cookie fell inside my car. All four cookies were ruined before we even left the parking lot. I called the store on my way home and spoke with Nav. He was much more understanding and even said I should have been given at least a box because carrying four cookies like that didn't make sense. Since I live in Elk Grove and didn't want to spend my birthday driving all the way back to Fair Oaks, he said I could come back another day for replacements. My sister lives much closer, so I asked if she could pick them up for me. Even that became an issue because Nav initially said I needed to be the one to pick them up. Then the employee argued that we only dropped one cookie. No, we lost all four because they weren't packaged properly. The whole thing was completely avoidable. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I just wanted the 4-pack to come in the box that's advertised on the menu, or at the very least a bag. Instead, I spent $18.50 on cookies that were ruined before I even got home. What was supposed to be a nice birthday treat turned into a frustrating experience, and honestly, I won't be coming back.
