This was my second attempt at trying this place on a Sunday for their dollar street tacos and I was…read moresuccessful. The first time I came, the line was so long, it went all the way back to the railroad tracks and I was too hungry to stand in line for an hour. Their street tacos were delicious. I ordered 2 al pastor and 4 carne Asada street tacos. I finished it within 5 minutes and wished I ordered more. I did like the carne Asada more than the al pastor. It had a rich and smokey flavor. The tortilla was warm and soft and the tacos were full of meat. The staff was friendly and everyone was so nice. People were sitting in their cars and blasting music. It was a party in the parking. Definitely chilled vibes.

Went back on Monday this week and the tacos are still really good and piled high with meat, but…read morethere was no grilled pineapple on the pastor! Bring back the grilled piña please! We also ordered a piña agua Fresca and it was really good. The line was long because of the $1 tacos, so we waited for about 25 minutes to order and another 10 to get sauce. That really wasn't that big of a deal, though, because the tacos are good and for $1 I expect there to be a big line. *** pro tip: bring your own salsa containers! I brought some from home that fit 4 scoops in each and the way people were staring in envy lol. It'll shorten wait times if everyone just brings a slightly bigger sauce container from home!

NOt sure why yelp deleted my previous update…read more I contacted this company via their IG at the request of a friend inquiring about health and safety codes. They are very active and tend to respond well, but they actively ignored questions relating to health and safety, food handlers, etc. I cannot support a business that does not follow food and safety codes. It is unfair to businesses that do. Even if the food is good, food safety is important. I am more than willing to update my post in the future if this is confirmed they do follow food and safety laws.

If you're looking for East L.A.-style street tacos, this is it (IYKYK). Hands down, these are the…read morebest street tacos I've had in Sacramento. I've tried just about every taco spot in the area--and no disrespect to the other taqueros--but the quality here is on another level. I no longer have to fly to East L.A. to get this experience. I ordered one taco each of chorizo, cabeza, tripa, and al pastor. The condiment area was spotless, the onions and cilantro were fresh, and the salsas... OMG, the salsas. I honestly can't explain how good they were. My favorite was the dark green salsa--if you go, do not skip it. You can see the team cooking everything out in the open, right in front of you. They're clearly working hard, and I'm pretty sure it's a female-owned business, which makes me love it even more. The tortillas are homemade yellow corn tortillas, pressed and cooked fresh on the spot. They also offer grilled onions and jalapeños, which were the perfect addition to the tacos. After finishing my first four tacos, I was so excited to finally find authentic East L.A.-style street tacos in Sacramento that I went back for two more. This time I ordered carne asada and costilla (rib meat), along with an horchata to tame the heat from the salsa. Every single taco was perfectly seasoned, with ideal texture--nothing dry, chewy, or overdone. I was honestly nervous to try the horchata because so many places serve what is basically sugary, watered-down nonsense or even worse, a premade Agua Fresca mix from the Latin market. But not here. This horchata was clearly homemade, balanced, not overly sweet, and absolutely perfect. I wish these ladies nothing but success. I'll continue supporting them because they truly know how to make tacos. This spot is officially my go-to, and I'm beyond happy to have finally found the East L.A.-style street tacos I've been searching for in Sacramento.
