I saw one of my car's tires has been slowly leaking air and after examining it closer, saw it had a nail which was the culprit. I made an appointment and was greeted by a very friendly Jenavi and after inspecting all 4 of my tires, told me to wait for the tire to be patched. I was really happy with the entire experience. I think I'll bring my car here from now on instead of Costco. I like that its only 5 mins away from my home. Parking could be better, but I get that they only have so much space to work with. I had a small leak in my front left tire - America's tire recommended a tire change for my front 2 tires. I oked it. After they changed and rotated the tires my tire sensor light stopped worked saying I had a flat on a tire (that clearly was not a flat). When I asked them about it they asked me to go the Tesla dealer to get it fixed. So a perfectly working sensor stopped working after they switched the tires and they didn't take any responsibility for it and on top of it the guy was rude and not customer friendly - he kept saying that they can't do anything about it. Proceeded to go to lunch only to find a flat tire. Changed tire myself(!), hopped onto highway only to have the donut go flat. Called AT and initially was greeted with bad news. I only had 20 minutes to get my busted ride or they couldn't take it. I told them I actually wanted to buy 4 new tires and possibly rims as well. Phone passed to manager(?). He was so nice. I just had an absolutely incredible experience here. I expected my tire replacement to take about an hour, but it took less than 30 minutes! My tires were supposed to arrive later this week however they arrived a few days early. I received a call from this location and they let me know I can come in anytime today! My car kept showing low tire pressure: I thought I had a slow leak but it wouldn't hold any air. Made an appointment ( definitely recommend- the wait can be over an hour for walk ins). They took the car back, informed me I had a screw in my tire, and asked how I wanted to proceed. They offered to repair it, and replace if they couldn't repair it. They patched the hole, showed me the screw and did it all free of charge! So it's a game changer! Also took a previous car in due to a blow out on 280, and I had bought insurance on the tires. Best $30 ever spent! They replaced the tire 'free' of charge. Essentially the insurance pays for the new tire and the install. Once you use it, you repay the the insurance fee. On a Saturday late morning went to Oreily to get a sealant for a slow leak on my tire. It ended up that my tire needed to be replaced. Other places were booked til Tuesday. Drove in as a standby by and after two hours they slapped on 4 new tires on my car. I was completely satisfied with my experience. Friendly and fast service. For 25 years, I've always gotten my new tires from Costco because of the good deals and usually fast service, even as a walk-in, but I've found in recent years that it can take a couple of weeks from when you purchase to have them installed by appointment. If you have an appointment, it can still take a few hours for them to do the installation. This time I had an urgent need for 2 new tires and couldn't wait long. The tires I have always been a special order. Luckily, I found on their website that this America's Tire location actually had them in stock for the same price as Costco. I purchased them online and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Shortly after purchasing them, I got call from them to confirm the tires were in stock. Polite and professional staff but poor and inconsistent workmanship. After I had all 4 tires replaced at America's Tire, I notice one of my tires developed a minor leak that require frequent re-inflate. The pandemic hit and I started to WFH and barely drove but continue to struggle with the minor leak. I brought my car in multiple times about the leak on that same tire and on several occasions, they didn't even create a work order and just did a cursory check and told me there is no issue. I kept records of all my visits, with or without a workorder being created, and it's disappointing on how many times I brought in the car for the same issue on the same tire. Fast-forward to recent months where I am driving a bit more and I am inflating that tire every couple of weeks to a drop of ~10psi each time. I brought in the car again and was very persistent about finding and fixing issue. They initially resisted saying last time they had a documented leak was 2 years ago and tire can't go that long without re-inflate - yes, they actually think their customers are that uninformed... After the tires are physically looked at, they found a nail in the tire and the nail surface was so smoot, flatten and shiny, which indicate it has been in contact with road surfaces for a long time... Turns out, I have been driving around with a nail in my tire for the last 2 years just because they brushed me off and didn't do a careful check... Generally, the staff here are nice and hardworking, and the service is pretty fast but I am still put off by the inconsistency here, especially on items that could have a safety impact. read more

I just had these guys deal with a Tire Rack order for new tires on my car. They were in and out super fast, everything was setup online. I was pretty impressed by the volume of their operation, and how efficient they were in getting things done. Next time around, I'll probably just order the tires directly from them--tbh the price would have been the same and it would have been one stop shopping. Staff was super friendly. Jorge was real responsive, as was the rest of the crew dealing with my car. I've been an America's Tire customer since they were Discount Tire Co., but this was the first time I've been to this location. Parking is a little tight but that's to be expected with the volume of traffic they had going in and out. The staff knows how to maneuver things for max efficiency. They had a small waiting room, but also will give you updates on your job via your cell phone so you can go to the Starbucks across the street or maybe even hit up the yoga studio next door lol. I like America's Tire a lot as a company. This review is for this specific location. 1) Lot: 1/5. There is not enough room to park anywhere. Multiple cars backed up into the street, which is downright dangerous. 2) Front desk: 4/5. Brian was friendly and efficient. Would be 5/5 if not for the attempted $33 upsell to refill the windshield washer fluid, which is a criminal level of markup for a three-second task using $0.50 worth of product. 3) Appointment time: 3/5. I made an appointment and showed up 15 minutes early. They didn't take my car back until 15 minutes *after* my appointment time. Not horrible but not great. 4) Service: 1/5. I care about my car and observed the work from inside the waiting room. It was supposed to be a rotation and balance. They did not balance anything, just straight on to rotation. They also used pneumatic wrenches with torque limiting sockets, which is not ideal but common at these shops. However, they didn't change the socket between my car and the one after it. I looked the other car up and the torque spec is different than my car. If they're using one socket for every car, then they're disregarding the torque spec and probably overtorquing everyone. I checked at home with my own torque wrench and my 76 ft-lb lugs were torqued to around 100 ft-lb. How hard is it to just use the correct torque limiting socket on each car? read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! The staff is horrible, careless and has a total disregard for customer's property. I purchased 4 tires and had them installed there. They do not clean the tires/rims when they complete the job, so my rims were covered in whatever they use to mount the tires. They not only scratched the rims, but cracked two of them. I was told that after they investigated, it was found that they were not responsible for the damage that they caused. This does not surprise me. Wow! Amazing service! Had an appointment at 2:45pm today (2/6/21) and arrived a bit early before 2:30pm so we had to wait a bit. This place looked super busy. We finally pulled into the garage at about 3pm and it took them about 20ish mins to repair the truck's tire. And guess what? Its free for repairs! Thank you :) (ofc left them a little tip, but I wish I had more cash to tip). We sat in the truck while they repaired the tire so we saw everything. Everyone working today was hard working and moved quickly! Thanks for blasting some anime music (haha, something different and I enjoyed the tunes). Thanks again for your help! When I walked in the front door I was greeted with a smile. Skip's tire is way closer to me but they don't even acknowledge you when entering. They were super busy! The service tracking app had an approximate completion time of 1:36. I thought to myself, these tracking apps are never accurate. They completed the job within a couple of minutes. These guys are getting better and better. The gentle man named Jorge was really helpful. He helped me to get more discount for 4 new Michelin tires for our work van. He promised me a later date but surprised me the next day that they tires were in. Perfect. We got it done right before the holidays. Also couple days ago i called them for a specific michelin tires for our mini van and he didnt have them on n stock and didnt try to sell what he had in stock. Instead he guide me to their mountain view location which had them in stock. They also found a sensor that was bad in one of our tires and replaced them right away. Good Job gentlemen!! read more

I recently purchased a 2011 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor which had a issue with one of the tires (mounted wrong) and no Tire Pressure monitoring system. I thought about taking it to another tire repair place, but I have had nothing but great experiences with my other 2 vehicle that I own. I decided to go to America Tires on Hamilton Avenue in campbell. I honestly have never had a bad experience there. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment, of course the store was very very busy. However, they do have a lot more technicians than other stores and I was greeted at my appointment time. Shortly afterwards I talked to one of the service writers and explained what I wanted to have done. He was extremely knowledgeable and assured me that they could take care of all of my repairs About an hour and a half later the car was done and everything was perfect. The service writer went over everything I asked a few questions which he answered I am very satisfied and I felt that the price was reasonable/fair considering how much work had to be done on those TPMS (4 Tires Removed, one Reversed on rim). The majority of the reviews I read on Yelp for this store are five stars and they are well deserved. Some of the other poorer reviews seem to be unusual circumstances. Are they busy? ALWAYS. Why? They are great at what they do! I have had many flats repaired under warranty, sometimes without an appointment. They always handled me outstanding! I came in to see if they had the tires I wanted available and to make an appointment. When I arrived I was immediately greeted "even though the parking lot was completely filled with cars". The employees are super Nice and professional. I asked if they would match a price I found on line, they said yes no problem. The tires I wanted were not in stock but the employee stated that he could have them for me by tomorrow morning, all I had to do was pay for them and they would give me a call when they came in. Next day 9:30am I received a phone call stating that my tires are in and I could come by anytime to have them mounted. I arrived within an hour and showed them my receipt. Due to COVID-19 they have some different procedures, they want the customer to drive the car on top of the lift as they do not want their employees to get in your vehicle. Employees do a great job of guiding you on the lift, I had absolutely no issues. Now for the crazy part I literally only waited 20 minutes for them to mount & balance all 4 off for my wheels and I was on the road again. I wanted to give a big shoutout to the folks at America's Tire in Campbell. I took my Audi in for the regular service earlier in the morning. The Audi Service advisor told me they couldn't rotate my tires since there was a nail in the passenger side rear tire....My next stop was America's Tire to get the tire fixed. The place was packed. They immediately greeted me and took a look at the tire. My info. was still in their database from many years ago along with other members in my family...They let me know how long it would take to get the tire fixed because they were busy and I did not have an appointment. I watched how they took care of each customer's needs in a very professional and organized manner. My tire was fixed in less time than was quoted. My car had a flat tire that needed to be repaired. I was driving on a spare and hoping that the Tire place would take me even though I didn't have an appointment. The staff was super friendly! I was their first customer of the day so they were able to get me in right away and fix my tire within 30 minutes. The staff fixed the tire and checked all of my other tires to make sure they were all safe. And they made the repairs for free! I got my replacement tires for my Tesla X from this shop 3-4 years ago and got another 4 replaced again two days ago. Costco or Walmart might have cheaper price but the convenience and efficiency of this shop is unbeatable. They also offer price match. I was able to have a walk in appointment and got my 4 tires replaced this Monday within 1 hour. BTW, some people do not like the America's tire certificate, and I agree it should be decided individually. However, I have been getting my tires from them and ai always buy the certificate for the peace of mind. I did have two flat tires that were unreparable within the last 3 years, and I got my 4 premium tires changed for only 50% of the price this monday. So for me, it is well worth it. Marco took care of me this Monday and he is already great. I live close to this shop and I will definitely use this shop for my car tires in the future. I am also going to get my Tesla alignment today at a shop Marco and AT recommended, and will see how the service there. read more

My wife went to America's tire to replace tires when I was away. The store CS did not recommend the right tire for my EV. In addition, the CS also replaced the wiper blades on my EV. But, the size of blades was wrong. This is totally unacceptable since the blades were not wide enough to wipe off the raindrops from the windshield. It is just unsafe to drive the car since the poor visibility. Shame on you. American's tire read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY. False advertisement! On their site it says "delivery service" . I called them to request delivery and they said that means their vendor delivers to them That makes no sense. All businesses have vendors that deliver to them. When you tell clients we offer delivery service then that should mean you deliver products to them!! I did have to wait a bit to get to a service rep, I wish they had a line for folks with an appointment vs walk-ins. I received regular online updates even though I was in the waiting area, and they finished my car in about 40-45 min, and I was in my way. My Honda Accord had a TPMS warning light. As a walk-in, I was expecting a long wait, but was pleasantly surprised. Brian talked me through what could trigger the light. I got the okay to leave work and have my tire looked at since the pressure was being consistently low. At my manager's recommendation, she advised me to hit up America's Tires which was conveniently about 4 miles away from my office. I pulled up to a full house and quickly backed into a vacant parking spot and made my way into the establishment. Brian flashes me a welcoming smile and immediately offered his assistance. I explain to him that I'm quite certain that I have a nail in my tire and he jumps into action- verifying that there was indeed a nail [or screw]. He informed me that the tire can be fixed and began to put me into the system as a new customer. As I stood outside and waited for them to work on my car, Brian gave me multiple updates which was really appreciated. 5 solid stars because the customer service here is absolutely AMAZING. Each and every person I came in contact with was just as great and made me feel super welcomed. Kudos for this particular America's Tires for being so efficient, honest, and friendly- they got me back on the road and headed back to work with an hour or so.
