It had been a while since I'd been here but it's still an amazing place. The business takes pride in customer service and you can really tell. James helped me, I called he told me they could do it ASAP. Showed up, they got my name, I sat in my car with the AC. James came out 5 min later and walked me through some choices, they said it would be 45 min and they would call me. This is when you have a nice break to head to Starbucks across the street, take a break ponder life and BAM your car is ready. They got it done in 30 min. Overall great experience. I called several tire shops including Morin and Wheel Works to have tires put on rims, get them balanced, and have the tire pressure sensors mounted to the rims (all of which I provided) and I was quoted about $200!?? I called America's Tire and for the same job, and was quoted $88! This is not only a bargain, but just makes sense. I'm bringing all of the parts and just need their expertise to put it together. I think I spoke to Bran, but he probably thought I was nuts cause I made him repeat the quote 3 times. I said "are you sure" and he replied with "yes, you have all the parts, right? We are just putting them together. That's $22 in labor per wheel so a total of $88." Not only is America's Tire the best price, but the customer service is also top notch. He was very kind and booked an appoint for the next day. I will definitely come here again and recommend this place to my friends, family, and anyone reading this post. I simply came in for a tire rotation. But learned I needed a new tire. Okay, no problem, the tech rotated the tires and put the new tire on the wrong side and tossed the wrong tire. If I hadn't looked I would've never known. The company was nice enough and found my old tire and put the new tire in the right place. Tech. NOT PAYING ATTENTION at all. I almost give this 5 stars but unfortunately they didn't set the tire pressures correctly after putting on four brand new Michelin tires for me. What a shame. The label on the driver side says 32psi front and 30psi rear, and First, I noticed the printout says tire pressures are at something 30/29psi. (I just remember seeing the slip and thinking that's underinflated). Worried that this may be a problem, tonight I went out in the cold at 11PM to check the pressures. And all four are at whopping 36psi. That's way overinflated, 6psi over the specified 30psi for the rear, could be dangerous if the car hit a pothole. I dunno ... it's such a simple thing. Otherwise, I had a great experience. I showed up on time for my appointment and as promised my car was ready within the HOUR. It's pretty amazing how they stick to their guarantee. If only they would spend an extra 2 minutes reading the label and set the tire pressures right. read more

Honestly, America's Tire is the only place I'll go for all my tire needs. Friendly, professional, and transparent; what more can I ask for? The only thing I'll note is that they're ALWAYS busy. Poor service! I went in to get my tire pressure checked no problem or so I thought. When leaving the worker tells me what the issue was and upon getting into my car I notice that the brake parking light is on and it says it needs service. Mind you it was not on when I took my vehicle into the shop and they are saying oh we didn't do anything we don't touch the parking brake. I've been going to America's Tire for years and various locations. This visit required my car being towed to the Campbell location. I had my dog with me, which was quite inconvenient, but they welcomed him into their shop. Jorge helped me out and he was very patient with the tow truck driver and my car, explained everything to me and I had 4 tires new tires, one which was covered by their warranty, on my car in 45 minutes. I've had several tires patched up under their hazard warranty. I highly recommend America's Tire to anyone, especially the Campbell location. read more

Friendly service? Eh . Maybe it's because they're so busy. I asked to get the manufactured date of my 4 new tires 3x, prior to installation. Never received. Shocked to find out they don't offer alignment. I noticed the front left tire looked lower than the rest, so I checked the tire pressure and saw they didn't even put the proper tire pressure for each tire. See pic. I thought I might get some paperwork regarding my tire warranty and the additional perks of choosing Americas Tires, but I received nothing. I should have just gotten my new tires at Tires Unlimited Stress Free Auto care on Stevens Creek. They completed the service maintenance on my vehicle and advised I needed 2 new front tires. I wanted to shop around for 4 new tires so ended up ordering online from America's Tires. Lesson learned. read more

I got a set of Bridgestone ecopia install last month on my 2019 Camry which are OE tires for my vehicle, just like other bad reviews they didn't balanced them so I brought it back in for them to do what they supposed when they installed them , they still vibrate and make noise , my old tires were not like that, I believe they sell defective tires cause all of the bad reviews are similar, I should've gone to Toyota and get Michelin energy saver which are OE as well read more

I ordered a couple of Michelin tires online at the Americas Tires website a couple days ago and came to the store this morning to have them installed. Apparently there's a sign outside that says to check in there, but someone was standing in front of it, so I didn't see it. Instead I walked inside and waited. 10 minutes later, no one had even looked at me, so I asked if there was a line or something and was told to go back outside and check in. It was there I met Edwin. Ah, Edwin! He checked me in and I asked him if he could bump me up since I had already been waiting and had even pre-paid for my tires. He said no. I got pissed and threw a coke cup on the ground (not my finest moment I admit. I picked it up and threw it away 5 minutes later) but I guess Edwin decided I needed to be punished. 40 minutes later I asked the manager and found out I wasn't on the waitlist at all anymore. Somehow I had been passed by or just never called. The manager put me back on and I was finally served next by, guess who? Edwin! So it took me 45 minutes to get checked in. Thanks Edwin! Really great top, notch service there. I Just want to let you know if I hadn't already pre-paid for my tires I would have left. I won't make that mistake again. I'll take my business elsewhere. This place is not what it used to be. I drive BMW with staggered, run-flat, sport tires. About an year and a half ago when I first visited them, there used to be a rep called Victor, really nice guy. He helped me choose the right tires for my car. Fast forward to a few days ago, the guy is no longer there, and I had a chance to meet with 3 guys, all rude, not willing to help and gave a strange reason each time. 1. The first guy said they are busy and can't work on a flat tire because it is around Christmas, and can't make an appointment. I should only come in at 8 in the morning and wait for my turn. - This is ridiculous, because I was able to go home and get an appointment for 2 days later. And what has Christmas to do with anything? 2. On the next working day, I had a break at work, and I was passing by the place, so I thought, maybe if they do have a slot I can get it fixed and then cancel my appointment following day. The second guy super rude, "you wanna talk? you stand in line" and there were no clear instruction on where the line starts. It starts where people wait for their cars to pick up. 3. Finally, my turn comes, I speak to the guy, explain him everything. the guy said, let's go check your car. He checks the car and said tire tread is less than 2/32s and can't work on my tire. There weren't even 25k on my tires, and they are All Season sport, not even Summer sport. I asked if he could check it once more, and he responded rudely, "I have checked it already, I am not going to do it". Later in the day, I tried to fix the tires myself with a repair kit, but the thick Run Flat tires are too hard. So, I called a mobile tire repair guy, he came and fixed it in an hour. I asked him how much tread is left, and he checked and said 4/32s These guys are rude, they lied, they didn't honor the tire warranty that I haven't been able to use even once. I paid $1300 for 4 tires, they are no cheap tires. I was charged a $100 for the tire repair, because this Americas Tire didn't honor their warranty. P.S. with a good friendly welcoming smile, I would have just gotten new tires. The rudeness and unfair treatment, and the fact the guy wouldn't check again when asked, made me lose the trust completely. Please check pictures of the tires I clicked on the very next day. I had my tires installed here. Months later I took my car to get serviced at my regular place and they were unable to take off one of the lug nuts without most likely breaking it and causing other damage that would cost me a few hundred to repair. I called Americas Tires to request they take them off and if damaged to correct that. They refused, stating that "these things happen" and that they would have only fixed it if I had taken it back "within a week" of when they put on the tires. I fail to understand in what scenario I would have found out they were on too tight within a week. Getting my tires installed here will possibly cost me a few hundred extra due to their mistake. This use to be my go to place because in the past, they were always super customer service oriented, friendly, efficient, and fast. I've always vought all my tires here and had all of my tire service done here. However, Now it's like a night and day difference. I arrived for my scheduled appointment and no one greeted me. There were probably 3-4 different employees that looked right at me and walked on by- no hello how are you, no have you been helped yet, no nothing- not even a simple hello. There were a group of people standing outside so I asked if this was were the line started and everyone was super confused as to what the process was to be helped. They all said that no one had talked to them or asked if they needed help, and they were wondering if anyone was going to help them. So I walked inside and all the guys behind the counter just looked up at me and then back down at their computers! Again! No one said a word to greet me! So I stated that I had an appointment and if anyone could help me. Then one guy/employee said to please stand outside and wait to be helped... ... Again, no hello, no how can we help you, just get out and go stand outside. So I said, you mean you want me to stand outside and wait to be helped like all the other confused people who are standing out there right now who haven't been helped? So I went outside, and waited, and waited, then finally I went inside again and asked to be helped. One employee finally came over and asked if I had an appointment. I said yes, over 20 minutes ago! He then said he would send someone out to my car and to just wait there. So about 10 minutes later a guy came and took down all my vehicle info, and said that I was next in line and they would take my car shortly, and just to wait. Which I did... for over another 30 minutes! By this time I was pretty pissed, so I go into the office and ask to speak to a manager. Raul came over and I asked him why I keep watching everyone else come and go but I'm still waiting and my cat is not being taken. He then stated that sense I was a walk-in I had to wait. I told him that I was NOT a walk in, I had an appointment! He apologized and said he would get to my car right away. I was only there for a simple tire rotation. That's it!! By the time they got to my car it was done in like 5 minutes. So I waited for almost 2 hours, with a scheduled appointment, for something that only took a few minutes to complete. Disappointed long time customer! They cross threaded my sons wheel lug, which they said they would fix I said great. They wrote me up a invoice and a place to go get it fixed. I went to the shop to make an appointment so it wouldn't continue to inconvenience my time. Motopool shop in Campbell said it would take 2 hours when I made the appointment a week ago today they are saying it's going to take all day!! This morning I called America's Tire Campbell while waiting around out front of the shop said they DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS or there time. They won't pay for Taxi's, or Uber's to be dropped back home for this inconvenience. They do tire.... The managers don't know how to train there workers correctly to install the lugs correctly. They told me this happens everyday in Campbell store. Normally I would say America's Tire is very good, but I'm beginning to doubt that. I use to refer them to everyone I knew. We all pay for customer service as well and the products we are buying. Every business now a days don't care about the customers or have any customer service all they care about is $$. Recommend, staying to watch how they install the lugs on your car. Make sure they start HAND TURN the lugs on until it stops, they can use the air gun after that point no more that 70foot pound setting on the airgun then they should use a torque wrench to tighten to 83foot pounds. I used to go to the Stevens Creek location prior to 2018 when I lived closer to it but slowly over the last several years Hamilton has been my new location for 4 tire repair, 3 new tire install appts. Like the other location, staff is top notch. Quick to acknowledge customers. Appt recommend to get in and out within an hour or else expect long wait. There's always a trip across the street to Whole Foods, Ross, Starbucks, etc 2/5 - parking. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't provide an option for negative stars. Luis, an employee of America's Tire, refuses to give me after parking a corvette in the disabled space. I requested access to the accessible parking space, which I required to access my wheelchair. There were two other spots available for Luis to select from. While the vehicle owner had a placard, they were nowhere in sight. Last I knew, Corvettes do not have wheelchair accessibility space, so I'm pretty certain the drive did not have a wheelchair in tow. After Luis first questioned my disability, he was rude in behavior, and he denied me the availability of the only accessible parking that would allow for wheelchair access. I did not feel welcomed at this location. I called and asked to speak with the manager, whose response was that I should have called to let him know that I was coming to have reserved the handicapped space for me. But, when I made the appointment, I made it clear that I was disabled and that it was difficult for me to manage a visit - I was assured that this location was ADA friendly. When I arrived, I was refused a safe path of travel from accessible parking spaces to all accessible and/or wheelchair users. I learned that this is not an ADA-friendly or customer service-oriented location. Avoid it at all costs. read more

My Honda Pilot got a screw in the tire, which was discovered yesterday. Our friend put the spare on, and I drove my car into America's Tire first thing this morning (a Monday). Of course, they were very busy, and I expected I'd have to wait a couple of hours. It wasn't very long at all before a really kind Edwin called on me, and I explained my issue. He took my information, and in about 30 minutes, I got a text message telling me that the job was complete. They had put the original tire back on, put the spare away, and all of the tools. Then I asked him what the bill would be, and he replied "$0"... it's free. That's a service we do. I was really impressed! I had booked appointment at American Tire depot on San arcarlos St. In San Jose at 1pm because I had a fast leak on my rear tire, I get there they tell me my car will be done around 5:30-6pm I couldn't wait 4-5 hours for my tire to be fixed, so I left and took it to American Tire on Hamilton Ave, hoping I would be taken in as a walk-in because there were not appointments available. I was so please the guys there took look at my tire and squeezed me in. I got there around 1:20pm and my tire was fixed rebalanced and I was on my way by 2:30pm. I truly appreciate the professionalism and kindness the guys at the Hamilton store are, they could see I was worried and I didn't want to continue driving on that tire that was losing air quickly. I usually take my car there but they had no open appointments, so I booked an appointment for 1pm at American Tire Depot. I'd give these guys 6 stars if I can. Don't get me wrong but these guys are really professional, courteous, knowledgeable and caring. I was helped by Mac and he went beyond the call to solve the bad tire issue on my mum's car. That's Mac and a few other guys. The process is so cool. First Mac took every word that my mum&I have down word by word, piece by piece. Then I was shows the well written tire diagram which was really cool. Last he made us an offer that even beats out Costco Tire. Mind blown! This tire center is a lot better than I expect, top notch service and plenty to go around while you wait from a flower shop to Whole Foods. Drawback: despite the good part of this review it's important to know that you better hustle because this place closes early.
