I explained that I only wanted steak and no rice or beans and the owner or manager exclaimed that they had a MEAT burrito on the menu and he ran it up as so. I drove down to Palos Verdes and took out my burrito to enjoy lunch with the scene only to be disappointed with a beef, beans, and rice burrito. Mind you that it did taste good, I would have just preferred not being gassy all day. 3 for well seasoned tasty beef and spicy hot sauce. -2 for getting the order wrong even tho I was one of the first few customers that morning. read more

Good place for street tacos and nachos. We got the asada, cabezza, and lengua street tacos. They were flavorful and decently priced for a restaurant. I also got the asada nachos. They were really good, and I liked that the beans were a little spicy. It was not overwhelming, but it was just a little heat that was a nice change up from other nacos. read more

I used to come here many years ago when I went to the nearby high school. I remember being in love with their breakfast burritos that were loaded with flavor and food. This place brought me a lot of nostalgia so I decided to give it a shot when I was back in the area. I've been trying to eat healthier and saw that they had a "healthy" breakfast burrito. It came with spinach, chicken, some other fillings which I forgot/couldn't discern all wrapped in a flour tortilla. To the say the least, it was not good. The burrito was an average size for 9 dollars. The contents of the burrito was basically mush. Everything kind of came together in a way that someone just mashed up the ingredients into a paste and called it a day. Service was fine but nothing spectacular. Kind of sad that I'm writing this review, but I'll probably only consider coming back for their regular breakfast burrito if I ever do. read more

Hash browns, sausage, bacon, ham and cheese comes in every one. They are big enough you will for sure be full but not so big it's impossible to finish. Ask for sauce containers when you pay and get their signature salsa and pico de gallo from the sauce bar. A wet carne asada burrito was about $9. NINE DOLLARS! My burrito was huge, but it's definitely quantity at the cost of quality! The tortilla was gummy. The carne asada looked like ground beef because it was chopped up so small. The beans, rice and massive chunks of lettuce were few and far in between. They use metal containers for take out orders, so my burrito tasted metallic because the wet sauce reacted slightly with the foil. Ick! The same burrito at Tacos Ensenada (voted #1 by Yelpers) is under $5. And the burrito has way more flavor! My brother had hyped up Amigos, so this was a total letdown. I definitely won't be back. The Mexican place near my home had the same quesadilla only for $9.75. 3 dollars more. What a rip. Coffee and sodas are free to refill. There are fresh ingredients on the food but I didn't get any. Well things changed since the pandemic. now you need 10 bucks in your pocket for a burrito. And not only are they are rude and reactive when you ask for sides, but they limit you to (2) 2 oz cups of salsa... request any more than that they'll charge you more money. This place serves (in my opinion) the best breakfast burrito in the South Bay. They are open on Sundays, they take phone orders, and always have the orders ready at a reasonable time. Outside of the breakfast burritos, all of the other items are really good too. I recommend the carne asada and the carnitas. If you're a fan of breakfast burritos, this is an absolute must try. If you're not into spice, you might want to ask for the sauce on the side, because sometimes it can be spicy, but a little bit of it really adds to the burrito. read more
