Combination Phở (steak, brisket, meatballs, tripe, and tendon)
    Eric H.

Phở, for me, is enjoyable not only in cold weather but even during the heat. I could indulge in phở year long and would not be in a food rut. The menu here is straightforward--offering the typical egg roll/spring roll appetizers, hot noodle soups, brothless noodle bowls, fried rice, stir-fry dishes, Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea. I ordered the Combination Phở, which came with steak, brisket, meatballs, tripe and tendon along with white onion, green onion and cilantro as garnish. The noodle soups are abundant. The bowl is loaded with tons of meat on top and plenty of rice noodles on the bottom. The soup was fragrant and flavorful. The broth was piping hot that it cooked my thinly sliced raw beef before it reached my table. I just wished they included more white onions because towards the end of my bowl I ran out! The restaurant is small with nine tables and not ideal for larger groups. When we arrived for lunch there was one other customer, but then tables started progressively filling up. There was a mix-up with one of our orders which caused a significant delay. The food is good, but they heavily use MSG in their broth. I was extremely thirsty after eating my meal. I would come back to dine-in but find it odd they charge a packaging fee for take-out orders.

Amy Pho Arrived Friday evening around 6:45 pm and no one is in the restaurant, that feeling setting in like whoa is something wrong about this place, at about 7:00 pm started to fill up so anxiety subsided. I had the #4 Amy Pho with Steak, Shimp and Chicken which came in a good size generous bowl, good broth about 4 shrimp, decent amount of steak and chicken. Pretty good price of $14.99 for what you get. Also got the Pork Crispy Egg Rolls came with 3 Egg Rolls and dipping sauce, they do a good job with these. Small business owned restaurant, doing a great job serving up authentic tasty Vietnamese food. Not a fancy place, just go for the food Even better, today was the last day of 20% off entire dine in bill

    Pho Dac Biet

Came by on a Sunday around 11am. Only one other patron in this cozy establishment so there were plenty of seats to choose from. Simple menu that didn't take long to look over. Decided on the Pho Dac Biet and some take out orders. Pho came out pretty quickly and was well filled with plenty of meat/protein and noodles. Broth was pretty good. Nice and clean with decent flavor. Noodles were as expected. Not bad if you're looking to grab a quick meal. Service was excellent.

Hate to do this because I was so excited to try it based on the high reviews. But, they need improvements. I know they just opened so I have high hopes it'll get better. Everytime husband and I try a new Viet spot, we always order their egg rolls, spring rolls, pho, and vermicelli noodles. It's hard to find a spot that hits a home run that it's all good. Grilled pork and shrimp spring roll: 4 out of 5 stars. They were large and plump. Not full of fillers. I enjoy the dipping sauce more when it's more peanut based than hoisin. Very good. Only wish they had fresh peanuts in the sauce. Pork egg rolls: 1 out of 5. These were bad. If you wanted lettuce and mint there is an up charge. The filling was mush. I questioned if the pork was cooked through. The dipping sauce nuoc cham had no flavor. I even added the sambal chili sauce. Nothing. Grilled pork vermicelli: hubby gave it a 3 out of 5. The meat was thin and dry. I didn't try the rest of it but it looked good. Beef pho: 3 out of 5. It wasn't the worst I've had but not the best either. I took a sip of the broth first thing and it tasted good. But mild in flavor. Almost seemed watered down. They did give a lot of beef for $10 I will say. They are heavy handed on the noodles. Service was sad. Only had one guy working in the front and I felt bad for him. He was super nice and apologetic to everyone. It took us about an hour and half to have dinner. They started running out of things and were not prepared for a Friday night dinner. He mentioned that it was just him and one cook. He was cooking and working the front. I felt so bad for the woman that came in and ordered her food when we got our food. And was still waiting when we left. Not sure what she ordered. The table next to us ordered the veg pho but with chicken broth. There was an aroma that wasn't pleasant. I kept smelling my food thinking it was mine. Overall. It's a small place. But I hope they get better. I'll try them again another time.

    Grilled pork vermicelli bowl

For my first visit, I ordered the Amy pho special- tasty, steaming hot broth with chicken, beef, shrimp, and a short rib- totally delicious and very satisfying. I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli bowl on my second visit and it was a good thing I was hungry; the tender rice noodles were very generously topped with slices of well seasoned grilled pork, crunchy egg rolls, veggies, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts. It was more food than I expected, and I finished it all. Great food, fast service, and good prices for the quality and quantity of food.

Grandma and I came here for opening weekend and it did not disappoint! It was very busy, and we waited almost an hour to get a table, but it was totally worth it. I really love the broth flavor on the pho. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and attentive, despite how busy it was for the promotion they were offering for the weekend. The inside is actually really small and there aren't a lot of tables, so be prepared to wait!

Oh my gosh, I wish we lived closer to this place because it is such a gem! What an incredible pho spot from the service to the menu to the flavors. We were seriously impressed. They offer so many great options, and the servers were extremely helpful, kind, and attentive. They made thoughtful recommendations, checked on us often, and truly made sure our first visit was memorable. The pho had a special, comforting flavor that tasted like it was made in someone's home kitchen. It was easily one of the best bowls of pho I have had in the Valley. We were so glad we found them and excited they are newly opened. We'll absolutely be back!

Pretty decent new Vietnamese spot. I had their lemongrass and chili oil wings. The meat was really tender and the lemongrass fragrant. It didn't taste much of the chili oil though. The pho broth was quite good. It had the right depth and flavor you'd hope for in a good bowl. The meat quality was so-so. There was only one server working but he was friendly. The music was interesting as it kept switching from Vietnamese music to American music lol. The kids loved the egg rolls and the spring rolls were good.

Updated review because i ordered pho to go...packaging is pleasing but the noodles werent all the way cooked and some were dried out. The steak was in the broth instead of separate which makes the steak dry and chewy. They also forgot jalapeños in my soup additives. Im not sure if I'll order to go from here again, I'll just have to go in if im craving their pho so they can fix their mistakes while I am there.

My first impression of this place was like any other pho restaurant. There were definitely some highlight like the combination pho, egg rolls and chicken wings. The pho broth was very rich with umami flavor and I love the meat was not overly cooked. The chicken wings were a surprise - crispy on the outside and very juicy in the inside. My only complaint were the spring rolls - the wrapper were a little tough, not soaked enough. Overall good restaurant - definitely visit again

    07. SIMPLY PHO-

We placed a take out order for two orders of pho during lunch time. There was fly larvae in the basil leaves. I understand this can happen anywhere but it was pretty disgusting. The restaurant did make us bring the food back and initially only wanted to replace the vegetables , but did issue a refund once requested. Overall they did not really seem too concerned about the issue. We were lucky that we saw that before anyone ate any of the food.

I think that was a bit rude to withhold just the one order. It made it a bit awkward at the table. A couple tables that ordered after us were still served before the last guy in our party. My food was fine. However, their bahn mi has a giant cucumber slice that ruined the sandwich a bit. We're used to cucumber slices instead of a whole cucumber spear in the sandwich, but I guess that is just personal preference. The plate I ordered is probably not popular (#64) since she had to re-check the menu when I ordered. All of it tasted fine, though. No one ever came to refill our water or check in if we needed anything else. I'll probably pass on this place next time there is an invite. Maybe I'll try the other Vietnamese spot down the street near Popeye's the next time I get a hankering for some Pho or Bahn Mi.

The spring rolls were equally filling, flavorful, refreshing, and savory! Flavor explosion! The firecracker wings drenched in the spicy sauce was so good, we kept dipping some of our kids fries in the sauce! Lastly the Crispy Rice dish with filet, WOW! A bite of that, with some broth on the side. I couldn't easily swear it's one of the most savory dishes I've had in AZ. What a hidden gem! On top of this, as a parent, it's always stressful eating outside of your own home with your kiddos, but the staff/owners were so accommodating, I felt comfortable and grateful! They were so nice and my 3Yo is wild, but they didn't make us feel bad and they continued to smile and even give him a high five as we left.
