Personable, friendly and exceptional service. I am new to the area and very happy I read the reviews and stopped in. Btw everything smells amazing the moment you walk into Ana's Kitchen!

New location by Stratton brook, we enjoy Ana's lunch sandwiches but this was our first time having breakfast. They were very transparent about how busy they were (which is very appreciated) due to catering next door but we still stayed and glad we did. Loaded avocado toast was a delight, and quality oats and yummy sausage. Croissant breakfast sando was ok. No full bar but mimosas available.

Ana's Kitchen should really have a new Yelp site because the majority of these reviews are from their time at the old Peabury's location. They are now in a cozy little place in West Simsbury and really serve up a nice breakfast. The food and service is solid four stars. I have been here for breakfast several times and have not been disappointed. Today I ordered the shakshuka, which was beautifully presented and pretty darn good. My only critique would be just a tad heavy on the oil. It comes with some crunchy sourdough bread. The service here is very good and friendly, and the parking easy. It's the perfect place to grab a breakfast.

Stop what you're doing right now and go have lunch at Ana's Kitchen. The mushroom soup (Tuesday) was to die for, with a perfect blend of ground mushrooms and spices in a cream base. The balsamic cheese sandwich hefts enough grilled vegetables to create a satisfactory mix that doesn't make the cheese overwhelming. I'm afraid to even look at the desserts.

Yeah, it was confusing. The sign over the building still says 'Peaberry's'. The etched designs on the front windows still say 'Peaberry's' The servers shirts still say 'Peaberry's'. The coffee cups still say 'Peaberry's' But the website for Peaberry's directs you to a website for Ana's. Our service bill said Ana's. Anyway, about a month ago, the old Peaberry's was sold to new owners who did some remodeling and reopened as Ana's Kitchen Café. The interior looks pretty much the same, we did notice some subtle changes. Floorspace has been opened up to make the place more roomy, the old tile floor was replaced with a wood floor, and I saw a new muted white and yellow color scheme on the walls. The menu is pretty similar- lots of sandwiches and salads and soups and coffees and teas, and lots of wonderful baked goods. For lunch, we went with a ham, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich (just $4!!) and a soup and half sandwich special for $9.25. The mushroom soup was excellent- great taste, piping hot, plenty of mushrooms. I went with half of their 'Bumstead' - a ciabatta bread with turkey, ham, cheese, roasted red peppers, and spinach. It had a lot of turkey on it and was served very cold. I think it would have tasted a lot better warmed up. One odd quirk we noticed- after you go up to the counter and order, you will be asked 'what table will you be sitting at? '. Each table has a number on it, and you have to tell them where you will be sitting so you get your food and not your neighbor's food. So be sure you have a table scoped out before you go up to order.

This was my first time going to Ana's since they changed location, and I was so pleasantly surprised! A nice, classy environment with a lot of great breakfast items on the menu. My avocado everything toast was delicious, and my latte was also a great choice. Probably could have used one more person for staffing, but really friendly workers who are working hard and want you to enjoy your dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing meal at Ana's Kitchen today at their new location in West Simsbury. It was an easy ride from Glastonbury and also very easy to find. And incredibly worth it. I went with friends this time but looking forward to bringing my husband back next time. Some of us had lunch but one had breakfast and everything was incredibly fresh, creatively prepared and delicious. Great, friendly service and place is eclectic, cozy cafe vibe. I had the grilled chicken guacamole quinoa bowl (all fresh with homemade tortilla chips as well). Fresh French press coffee served (your own carafe) for all the coffee drinkers. Just to name another nice touch. Can't wait to go back and will definitely be trying breakfast next (served all day)!

Stopped on my lunch break and was it the best decision of my life! Location was in a busy shop but not too much traffic when I arrived. Exterior was well lit and has outdoor seating! The exterior was extremely well kept and appealing. Interiors was extremely spacious and open. Seating wasn't too tight. Tables were cleaned off. Chairs pushed in. The seating has pillows around the benches to add to the appeal. Food: ordered a Chipotle Chicken Keto bowl The amount for price was extremely worth it! The meal had so many different flavors with an kick of spice. The onions were super thin and edible! The chicken was grilled with slightly crisp. Drink: ordered a hand squeezed lemonade The lemonade was very refreshing ! There was a perfect amount of tang to the drink. Customer service: FABULOUS The staff were all pleasant ! Everyone seemed to truly enjoy being at their job. They spoke with kindness and treated everyone the same.

I have to agree with so many of the other reviews of Ana's Kitchen: Peaberry's Cafe was so much better. It was always warm, welcoming, and the food was always made quickly. Now the place is constantly dirty, the staff can't even offer a smile or hello, and there isn't even a menu you can look at on the wall before ordering! You have to wait until you get to the counter to look at a sticky laminated menu with very limited, very unoriginal options. There is nothing but bland sandwiches and soups you can find at any restaurant and the poor service makes it awkward the minute you walk through the door. I was very unimpressed by the burnt turkey sandwich with soggy lettuce I received. It really sends a message when you stop for lunch at 1 in the afternoon on a cold Saturday and there is only one other customer in the entire place. People are obviously quickly catching on that this is not the cozy cafe it once was. It's a shame really because it's in such a convenient location.

I work right around the corner from the new location. Was very happy to hear another place was going in there to make lunch quick and easy! I order a chicken salad sandwich and a lemonade online. I went to pick it up, and the order did not go through, which is not their fault at all! They offered to drive it over to me as soon as they made it! In less than 10 minutes, they came to deliver it! Fantastic staff, very friendly, and accommodating. The sandwich was 10/10. Bread was toasted perfectly, the chicken salad was on point, and the lemonade was just right! Very happy to have Ana's kitchen right around the corner! A big thank you for delivering for me!

That's because when you pull into the shopping plaza.....you don't see it. But if you circle around to the right, you'll see it on the side of the strip mall's buildings. And trust me, this spot is definitely worth hunting down to experience a standout breakfast or lunch. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. It was stellar, with plenty of that yummy cheese and chicken. The only sour note with our lunch was a rather steep $4.25 for a glass of iced tea that was half-filled with ice. The food was very good and a decent amount of leftovers came home with us for another day. I was unexpectedly impressed by how crowded Bistro was on a random Monday. I bet you'll be too.

Between ordering and pick up time was less than 15 minutes! And this was during a busy lunch schedule! Props to Jersey Mike's staff. The bread was super soft, and the freshness was apparent throughout every bite. I loved the provolone cheese. It had that pop! The fresh cold cuts were generously placed on the sandwich and I could taste each and every one of them, with the spicy ham coming through Having it with lettuce, tomato oil and vinegar, hot pepper sauce, jalapeño peppers, banana peppers, mayonnaise, made this sandwich a true winner. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, well organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The peri-peri food was excellent. I ordered the half chicken dark and chose the hot spice level. It was extremely flavorful, tasty, and cooked just right. The peri-peri chicken was exceptional--every bit on par with Nando's. I also ordered a Caesar salad with chicken as the protein. You can choose the spice level for the chicken, and I went with medium on the salad. The salad was very fresh, and the peri-peri chicken was a very tasty addition to it. Another nice touch was that the cook came out and checked to see if my food had been prepared to my liking. That kind of care really stood out. One of the things that sets this place apart is that, although it offers carryout, it also has a comfortable dine-in area where you can enjoy your meal with real plates, silverware, and napkins instead of disposable items. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient, and most of the food is solid. That said, I was really disappointed with my $12 breakfast sandwich today. I know it's $8.59 on their website (but I got it for $11.77 after Uber Eats fees and delivery) The menu/stock photo prominently shows a beautiful, thick-cut peppered bacon that looks crispy and substantial. What I actually received was thin, flimsy microwave-style bacon with almost no pepper visible and very little of the texture or flavor you'd expect from "real" bacon on a premium sandwich. The difference is striking when you compare the advertising photo to the actual product (see attached pictures). For the price point, I expect the quality to match the marketing. It's not that the sandwich was bad overall the bagel and other components were fine but the bacon was a clear downgrade that affected the whole experience. I'm not judging- I'm a mom I've had to make quick breakfast meals using microwaveable bacon but- come on .... This is NOT what is being advertised. I'll likely be back because the service and other items are good, but I hope Bruegger's either updates their photos to reflect reality or brings the bacon quality up to what they're advertising. A little more honesty and consistency there would go a long way.

She was horrified by our experience and explained management changes were already taking place to ensure a sitiuation like ours never happened again. She also personally offered to remake our order correctly and with the care we deserved on another visit. We decided to take her up on the offer, because what else did we have to lose? This time, Bert was on site to ensure everything came out perfectly...and it did! The bagel sandwiches were hot and fresh, the order was made the way they should be, and Bert's customer service was excellent. She also apologized several times for our original visit. We really appreciate Bert's professionalism, kindness and commitment to customer service as she completely turned our experience around and made good on her promise to make things right. Original review: Absolutely terrible experience (yet again) at the Avon Bruegger's. My husband called in a to-go order for a Double Stack and a Sriracha Honey Sunrise, and both sandwiches were completely wrong. The wrong bagels, no cream cheese, and zero attention to detail. It's basic stuff, but apparently too much for this location. When I called to speak with a manager about fixing the issue, I was put on hold for over 11 minutes, only to hear manager Emily loudly complaining about customers and their orders to a male coworker. He mentioned several times that I was still on hold, but Emily told him to "just hang up" on me instead of taking the call. I could clearly hear everything they were saying. When I called back, Anastasia answered and was very apologetic, but said Emily "couldn't talk right now." I could hear Emily in the background refusing to come to the phone. There was no apology, no offer to call back, nothing. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This is the third bad experience I've had here, and it's obvious where the problem lies. Emily is rude, dismissive, and has absolutely no business being in a management position. A good manager leads by example, not by hiding from customers and dumping issues on her team. Based on other reviews, I'm clearly not the only one who's had problems with her. Bruegger's corporate should take a hard look at this location because Emily is the problem. I won't be coming back, and I'll be warning others to avoid this store until it's under better management. I genuinely feel sorry for Emily's employees.
