I really wanted to like this place. I've given them time to correct certain things (the coffee needs desperately to be changed) . The coffee is terrible it's sour and watery. The coffee is not being pulled correctly and the flavors are not give the proper attention for a $9+ latte. The pastries were okay. Nothing mind blown. Nothing to come back for. The service was brutal. The girl at the front doesn't greet anyone. Doesn't care to elaborate on what anything is. Not friendly at all. We will not be back. We were influenced to come try it because of certain posts. However, maybe if they dropped Zolo coffee I'd consider ever visiting again. But it was a disappointing waste of time and money.

ICED STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE (oat milk, extra shot of matcha, light ice)

Trying to figure out my go to matcha spot in the "nut"... the matcha here was not bad, a little powdery, but gets the job done. However, the service is fantastic. Luna is beyond sweet, kind, patient, and understanding. I would come back simply for her. The pastries looked quite delicious so I may indulge. For now, enjoy this strawberry matcha with oat milk, extra shot of matcha, light ice, and no sugar.

This coffee shop was very cute. I've seen this place all over social media, and I've been wanting to try it for so long. I ordered the strawberry matcha, and it was really good. It had a nice, vibrant green color and wasn't overly milky, which I liked. The drink took a little while to come out, but I think the receipt didn't print for the barista. There's a decent amount of seating both inside and outside. They have lots of sweet and savory pastry options. I wanted to try the Korean cream bun because it looked enticing, but $16 seemed a bit pricey.

I dream about this Korean Cream Cheese Bun often. I have to get it every time I stop by every time I'm in Walnut Creek. It's so garlicky, creamy, and slightly sweet I cannot think of a more addicting combination. The service is always quick, they're always happy to explain what ingredients are in what drink, and I've never had trouble finding available seating. I love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, because of the great location. Glad it's in a quaint little spot amid the bustling shopping area!

I go there almost everyday for my matcha drinks. Highly recommend this place for their cozy ambiance and friendly staff :) If you need to be awake and energized for your days, their matcha drinks will definitely hit the spot Also, all of their desserts are amazing! Especially all types of their Baklava

Cute new coffee spot in Walnut Creek! I had a decaf almond milk latte with vanilla syrup and my friend had a flat white. Love the decorations and stuffed animals. Indoor and outdoor seating available - we sat inside at the bar. Prices were a bit high. Service was friendly. Would come back if in the area. First review of 2026!

I've been here a few times, not just for coffee, but specifically for the Caesar salad wrap with turkey, which is surprisingly hard to find done this well. It's clearly made with care every time. I've also tried their smoothies, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff is always super sweet, and even though the space is small, I've never had trouble finding a spot inside or parking nearby. Definitely a place I keep coming back to.

A wonderful little coffee shop featuring an assortment of unique pastries. For someone who normally orders iced regardless of the weather, I really enjoyed their cardamom latte with oat milk. It was perfect for the cold weather. The peanut butter pretzel chocolate chip cookie was out of this world.. I do however believe that the barista should be reminded of basic hygiene and food safety standards when working especially after touching your face/beard. For that I docked a star.

Stumbled across the business while scrolling through TikTok, but came here physically while running errands in Walnut Creek. The shop is tucked away among other small businesses and parking options run along the streets of Downtown Walnut Creek. The place is well lit with a minimalist design. There are several spots to sit and relax and in my opinion this would be a nice place to catch up with a loved one or go on a coffee date. Staff here are super chill and work pretty quick -- my drink and food came out within minutes. I ordered the following: - Korean Cream Cheese Bagel (3.5/5): while this was delicious, it was left a quite heavy feeling compared to other places I've had the bagel at. I'd recommend sharing this with 1-2 other people just because it's a little overwhelming and a bit overpriced in my opinion (I've gotten this in other cities for about $5) - Iced Matcha Latte with Macadamia syrup (4/5): quality matcha with non-grainy texture and a rich flavor. The syrup added a flavor that balanced out the strong tea flavor of the matcha.

Rounding up my experience here. Was in the area and wanted to try a new coffee place, and Ananas Coffee popped up on Yelp. Great lighting in the space, and pretty sizable as well. There's indoor and outdoor seating. There were some pastries on display, and they all looked amazing. The coffee menu was a bit hard for me to read so I went with a cappuccino and a mocha. Missed Turkish coffee, otherwise I would have tried that. They have various smoothies and such here, but the menu just didn't pop to me. For pastries, I got a potato bun ($5, meh, ok, I thought it was fine, but my son and husband really didn't like it at all), Korean cream cheese bun (holy moly at $15 lol, it was so weird in a good way- a mix of savory and sweet, slightly sugared cream cheese with garlic and herb, sort of a not so dense bagel with cream cheese mixed with garlic bread or something), and a marshmallow cookie (around $7??? - pretty standard, didn't taste $7 worth to me). Glad I tried, but wow, a bit pricey for what everything was. I feel there's some lost opportunities here as the products are great on paper, and they have amazing real estate here. Maybe I'll go back and try a smoothie and a Turkish coffee. Service itself was fine. They took my order, I paid, and they let me know when my stuff was ready. Did to go, but they also have amazing looking avocado toasts and more for actual food items.

We found this cute little cafe on Yelp! We were in the mood for coffee and breakfast. We love to try local and family owned businesses. Ananas Coffee offers indoor and outdoor seating. The patio seating is open with lush trees off the Main Street in Walnut Creek. We ordered at the counter and were served our food in a timely manner. I had to try the Turkish Coffee and wow it was a pop of energy that was amazing. This little cup of coffee enhanced with Cardamon was delicious. The avocado toast was topped with avocado smash, fresh lemon juice, micro greens , cucumber, radish and last but not least an olive oil drizzle. The perfect healthy delicious breakfast! This cute charming coffee shop also offers pastries, smoothies , juices and desserts! We will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu!

Only place in downtown WC I know that has Turkish coffee! Got a bunch of cafe items here and others you prolly won't find anywhere else in the area. Matcha tiramisu, and unique smoothies. Very quiet place, easily a spot for someone to come and do some work in

Really wanted to give Ananas a better rating, because I truly love supporting small businesses. Since I was in town for work, was on a mission to try as many cafes as possible in the area. Stopped in for some lattes to fuel the day, it was pretty empty in the morning and was greeted by a pleasant man. He was super friendly and gave a great recommendation of Rose Pistachio flavor to my latte. The space was clean and my drinks were made quickly. Unfortunately, the coffee did not have a strong taste in either flavor coffee or Rose Pistachio. You can see by the photo the paleness of the lattes drowned with milk. It tasted like lightly coffee flavored milk. Perhaps asking for a double shot is the way to go? Was hoping to return to try their smoothies that looked Erewhon-esque, but never returned. Easy to miss storefront. Street parking is the way to go.

I love places like Lafayette where all the businesses support each other and help each other grow. Their brews on tap are mostly all local, and we grabbed some Pilsners sourced from Lafayette's new brewery, Western Flyer. So fresh and crisp. Can't wait to also check that spot out. Food-wise, we came in mid-afternoon and grabbed a Kale Pancetta salad (they pre-split the salad for us on two plates which was so nice), and for the mains, we both grabbed the Tuna Melt with fries. The salad was delicious. I'm def a tuna melt girly, and I loved the addition of the ciabatta (?) as the bread option, so fresh as well. This tuna melt comes with grapes fyi, and a few other elements mixed in. I absolutely loved it, just sharing though as I know how some tuna stans like their tuna :) This spot is clean, spacious, and perfectly situated in walking distance downtown. Would love to come back for brunch with a group of friends, or even again during the upcoming Lafayette Art & Wine Fest. Food is good, service is quick and friendly, and vibes are right. Metered parking located across the street.

The reason I rated my visit 4 stars is because after I ordered my sandwich, my food server asked if I wanted fries or a salad with my sandwich without letting me know there's a charge for both sides. I thought the fries or salad went with the sandwich and I was surprised to see a $6 charge on my bill. I told my food server I thought the fries or salad went with my sandwich and I wanted the $6 charge removed, he said he'd have to ask his manager. The manager came to my table to talk to me and I told him what I stated earlier. He asked me if I looked at the menu because it showed the $6 charge for fries or a salad. I thought that question was obvious and unnecessary. The manager took the $6 charge off of my bill. I think the food server should have mentioned there was a $6 charge for the fries or salad because he's more familiar with the charges than I am. It will be a while before I return to Main Street Kitchen & Bar because of this situation.

After waiting quite a while for someone to come to our table, we finally placed our drink order. I ordered a cappuccino and asked for sugar. When it didn't come, I reminded our server. She still did not bring it. I waited roughly 15 to 20 minutes, long enough for my cappuccino to get cold, before I had to physically get up and ask someone else to find our server. Only after reminding her again was the sugar finally brought over. It then took another 30 to 40 minutes for someone to come take our actual food order. Our server was unfriendly, disengaged, and gave the impression that she simply did not want to be there. There was no warmth, no apology for the delays, and no effort to check in or improve the experience. The food was also disappointing. Other than the pizza, most of what we ordered either arrived lukewarm or simply did not taste good. Between the poor service, the long waits, and the underwhelming food, the entire meal felt careless from start to finish. I understand restaurants can have difficult days, but this was not just a small delay or one missed item. It was a consistently poor experience throughout the visit, and frankly, not what I would expect from Main Street Kitchen.

I…read moreknow they have several locations throughout the Bay Area, but since we were in Lafayette, we figured we'd finally give this one a try. We arrived around 11:30 a.m on Monday. There was only one party ahead of us waiting to be seated, and it didn't even appear that they had been acknowledged. About two or three minutes later, a gentleman came over, asked how many were in their party, and seated them. We then waited another five minutes before the bartender finally looked over and asked, "Have you been helped?" We replied, "No." He asked how many were in our party, whether we preferred inside or outside seating, and then seated us inside. After sitting for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgment from the server, the bartender returned and took our order. I had two very simple modifications to my meal. I repeated them a couple of times just to make sure they were noted, as they were nothing complicated. I simply didn't want two ingredients that normally came as garnishes. The bartender read my order back, confirmed the modifications, and walked away. About 35 minutes later, our food finally arrived, but we still hadn't received our beverages. I politely asked another server, who had yet to acknowledge us once during our visit, if we could please get our cappuccino. He brought over a regular coffee instead. I politely explained that we had actually ordered a cappuccino. He seemed irritated but said, "Fine, I'll go get it for you." Unfortunately, my food wasn't prepared correctly despite the bartender repeating the order back to me. Even more disappointing, my entire meal was ice cold. The scramble was cold, the toast was cold, and honestly, nothing on the plate was warm. What made the experience even more frustrating was that there wasn't a single opportunity to mention any of this. The bartender never came back. The server never checked on us. Even the person who delivered our food never returned to ask how everything was. We were essentially forgotten after our meals were dropped off. I genuinely hate writing negative reviews because I work in customer service myself and understand firsthand how overwhelming the service industry can be. I completely understand getting busy. What I don't understand is completely ignoring your guests. Even when you're overwhelmed, acknowledging customers and checking in, even briefly, makes a huge difference. Looking back, I probably should have taken the condition of the restaurant as a warning sign. When we walked in, there were numerous tables inside that still had dirty plates, cups, and leftover food from previous guests. The outdoor patio looked the same. What surprised me most was that many of those same tables were still covered in dirty dishes when we left. I wasn't expecting perfection, but I was expecting much more than what we experienced. We spent over $50, received cold food, an incorrect order, waited an unusually long time for drinks, and never had a single opportunity to let anyone know because no one ever checked on us. It was honestly a very disappointing experience, especially after hearing such positive things about this restaurant.
