I'm obsessed with this place. I've been twice in 3 days!! I walked in both times in the evening with a group and was able to be seated immediately. It's such a nice vibe in there with good mood lighting and the tables just far away enough from the other customers. I got Mezze Sampler - great to try a little bit of everything and was a fan of most of the items! Pastirma - good but I personally could skip it. My friend just loves carpaccio and I don't. Octapodaki - literally the best thing we ate Kibbeh - meat inside could be a little more seasoned but the crunch was flawless!!! Yogurt Kofte - the flavors worked so nicely together- the meat was seasoned well and nice and moist. The rice was perfect on its own, and the tomato yogurt bread thing it was all sitting on was delicious too! Came here on a Saturday night for dinner at 6:30 PM with a party of 4 and we were able to be seated outside immediately. Heat lamps keep their outdoor patio toasty, so no need to worry about that! Waitstaff are busy but friendly, and they get your food out in about 15 minutes. I got the Adana plate, which consisted of a large piece of ground beef and lamb that was surprisingly juicy; some places they can overcook it, so I'm glad this place did it justice. I loved the pickled onions on the side to cut through the meat, and the vegetables with the chickpeas added some freshness to the meal. So many dishes looked amazing, next time I'm here I'll do family style so I can try as many as possible! read more

Walked in as a party of three on a Saturday around 6 pm and were sat right away, there were a couple tables inside and outside available still. Service was attentive and well versed in the menu and offered great recommendations. I ordered the meze combo to start, the bread was fresh and warm and accompanied all the spread so well. The borek was light and cheesy, hummus was creamy and tasty, and the ezme was sweet with a light kick of spice. The combo is a wonderful sampler appetizer if you're in the mood to try a bunch of food. The yogurt kofte was delicious, the minced beef was cooked perfectly, and the bread cubes absorbed all of the sauces make each bite full of flavor. The burnt butter pilav was fluffy and enjoyable. I wish I had more room in my stomach as the flat breads looked incredible. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu next time I'm in the city. read more

This place is a solid spot overall, with a menu that clearly has some strong standouts! I started with the mezze combo, which was the highlight of the meal. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and nicely portioned, making it great for sharing or for getting a good sense of the kitchen's range. The spreads paired well together and set expectations high going into the main. My main dish, however, was a bit underwhelming compared to the mezze. It wasn't bad by any means, just not particularly memorable, especially given how strong the opening dishes were. That said, the food quality was still good and everything tasted thoughtfully prepared. Service was friendly and paced well, and the space itself feels warm and inviting without being too formal. After seeing other tables, I realized I probably should have ordered a pide, which looked like a standout and something this place really excels at. I was so excited to try this place! I love Turkish food, especially mantis... I went one a Friday with two friends and we had to wait quite a while. Not their fault and it was exciting for us to just catch up and see all the food come out. They were busy which I take as a good sign! We finally got a table and the wait worked up an appetite and I was ready. We got some wine and one of their pides which came out disappointingly... it looked and tasted like cheesy flatbread pizza what you can get from a museum cafe-- thick base and crust. We also got their borek which was fine and I got their manti, of course, and it was also just fine-- dough was thick and not every piece had meat which is also okay, but those pieces amplified the doughness. Got here on a Friday night and waited in line. There was a paper to sign in your name but didn't seem to be going off it strictly. We got seated outside and is lovely inside and out. There's heat lamps outside but didn't have them on since the weather was fairly nice still. We ordered a bottle of wine and our waiter was kind enough to give us a sample of the wines we were deciding between. We ordered the kibbeh, lahmacun, and manti. After waiting an hr we still didn't have any food and most of the restaurant had cleared out. It was really busy upon arriving but said something to our waiter as everything had been quite slow. Turns out our order never got out in. They comped an additional bottle of wine which was kind and all our food came out in the next 5-10 minutes. The kibbeh was delish with good texture, filling, and flavor. The lahamacun was also good and always love how thin it is and the flavors. It was a good portion and didn't disappoint. The manti was really small. I'm used to large dumplings but these were quite tiny with a dime size portion of meat/filling inside. Flavor was fine but wouldn't order again. The other food we saw coming out looked good. I'd come back to try some other items but hope things get smoother all around with service and seating read more

This is a seemingly new spot in SF that's really causing a stir! It specializes in Anatolian food, which is now modern day Turkey. The staff are all polite and helpful. The restaurant is extremely well decorated. Cute touches like lamps and containers of Olive oil are thoughtfully placed with a gorgeous bar looking out into the kitchen. Beautiful wood tables and really perfectly chosen dishware. Even the bread basket is outlined with a gold trim. The food is excellent. The mezze platter was a great option to try lots of different things. The falafel were pretty basic, not fried to order. The sarma were also pretty standard. I am a sucker for tabbouleh salad and hummus, both of which were great. We also ordered the lahmacun which seems to be a stand out here. We watched a local eat it and learned that you add the fillings - parsley, tomato, and red onion - into the slice and roll it up like a wrap. So good! I could have had an entire one of these to myself. I would definitely come back for one of these! There are two unisex bathrooms with two sinks available outside. This spot is a decent new addition to the neighborhood. Honestly, I was initially a bit disappointed when this place replaced Yellow Moto because I don't usually crave Mediterranean/Turkish food. But I ended up having a pleasant experience here. I recently dined here with a friend for dinner on a weekday. Inside was pretty empty when we initially arrived around 6:30pm, but all the tables began to fill up soon afterwards. We shared the meze combo and lahmacun, which was just the right amount of food for two people. Although nothing in the meze combo quite stood out to me, I still recommend getting it if it's your first time dining here so you get to sample a little bit of everything. Of all the flatbreads on the menu, the staff said that the lahmacun was the most traditional item and recommended it. This did not disappoint! I've never had anything like it before, and I'm so glad I got to try it. Service was also friendly and attentive. I'm open to coming back to try more items on the menu next time! read more

I went at 6:30pm for 2 on a Sunday and was able to get a spot outside walk-in. Ambiance is lively and service is nice! Kibbeh ($14) was crunchy on the outside and delicious when dipped with yogurt. Beyti ($26) was also very tasty. Both dishes had lovely plating. Both were protein heavy dishes, making for a satisfying meal split among two. I do have a smaller stomach though, so might recommend another dish for others. read more

Yes this one is a 5 star (fairly rare in my reviews !) The decor is nice and the atmosphere is quite livwly , services great- attentive and knowledgable and we overall had a great experience As for the food: 1) kibbeh- very good , not too thick of a shell and the meat tastes fresh (4/5) 2) pide with mushroom and cheese - yummy ! The dough was very good and the cheese and mushroom weee just the right amount (4.2/5) 3) yogurt kofta - 2 very yummy kebabs with just the right meat mix . With the yogurt and tomatoes the dish was excellent (4.3/5) 4) sutlac - was good and not sweet . I was curious about Turkish food, only had it once 10+ years ago in Berkeley. It was pretty popular on Monday evening when many places are closed. We were party of 4 and shared a couple dishes to try different things Lahmacun - tasty, thin bread, roll it up with tomatoes, onion, parsley. I think we should just each order one of these next time. Pide (mushroom one) - tasty thin crust Tabouli salad - small portion, skip next time. Adana (main)- expected bigger portion, one large doner but only like 2 bites for everyone. Bulgur was like brown rice, not a grain I typically eat but liked it. When the waiter said there were some sides, I thought there were Korean banchan style side dishes. It's like a scoop of side. Overall solid food, no mishaps for a new spot, nice modern vibes and atmopshere but I was like 80% full so we got dessert elsewhere. read more

Anatolian Table is a welcome addition to Valencia, bringing delicious Aegean / Anatolian food to the street. Service was great & the staff was kind. We asked for their recommendations and ordered the yogurt kofte, adana, and kusbasi pide. I also got the octapodaki as I love octopus! The kusbasi pide was similar to pizza. I thought it was solid but nothing unique or stand-out. However, all of the other dishes were great. Both the yogurt kofte and adana were well seasoned and tender. My favorite was the octapodaki-- I don't think it's listed as an entree, but I felt that it was the perfect size as I wasn't very hungry. The arugula was nice and fresh, balancing well with the butter beans & sauteed tomatoes. The octopus was cooked perfectly, keeping it firm but tender at the same time. Overall, we had a great time. They also have outdoor seating with heating lights. Definitely will be going again! read more

Anatolian Table was booming when we visited on Friday night, and the hype is justified since everything was absolutely amazing. We tried dolmas as appetizer, Kusbasi pide and Lahmacun as main dishes. I can say that Lahmacun was one of the best I have ever eaten in Bay Area. My only minor criticism is that it could be served a bit more hot, but it is understandable given how packed this place was. For pide there is nothing that comes even close in Bay Area. It was delicious and crispy. We wrapped the meal with rice pudding, which was very light. I loved the taste of pistachios on top. I also want to add that owner/hosts were super friendly and nice. We will for sure come back to try new stuff. read more

Anatolian Table is the kind of restaurant San Francisco was in need of. I've been there a few times in the past few weeks because I simply can't stay away. As a big fan of Lahmaçun, I can confidently say theirs is the best I've had anywhere in the U.S. The service is warm and genuinely hospitable. From the owner to the chef to the wait staff, everyone is incredibly friendly, so it already feels like a second home. The space itself is beautiful and immaculately clean, which speaks volumes about the care they put into every detail. This past Saturday evening, I showed up a bit late after they had already closed, but once they saw me, the chefs reopened the kitchen and still delivered an amazing experience for me and my friends. Came in on a Saturday around 12:30pm, saw it was really empty inside so thought we'd support a new(er) restaurant then eat at our go-to Souvla next door. The owner recommended the brunch plate for two ($65) which was unfortunately really underwhelming. The bread and sausages were super dry. The platter was packed with honeys and jams but light on actual protein. It looked big, but most of it felt like filler rather than substance. The bigger issue was the table situation. The spread came with multiple plates and barely fit on our two-top, so we had almost no space left to actually eat. We politely asked if we could move to open four-top right next to us so we'd have room for the food. The owner said no and walked away. We thought she misunderstood so asked again, she again said no and told us their rush was between 1:30pm-2. The strange part was there were only two other tables in the entire restaurant -- and both of those were two people sitting at four-tops. What a welcomed food experience! We decided to go on a family dinner on a whim. We arrived around 8:30 pm to a lively scene! They have a spacious outdoor seating area and a space inside as well. The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. It felt like coming home to dinner with family. They all played with our baby and ensured we had all that we needed. This was a belated birthday celebration. We had the lovely server, Tugba. She sided with me in ordering the lahmacum. I call it a pizza but it is not. Its a flat bread with grounded beef and lamb. It comes with the most freshest parsley that looked like cilantro. Also red onions which doesn't have heavy onion taste. My friend wrapped it all with the flatbread with squeezed lemon. The other dish was Yogurt Kofte. Beef and lamb shaped like sausage on a bed of yogurt, tomato, marinated bread. With red rice. Love the yogurt sauce. Our dessert was Kunefe and my friend loved it. Anatolian Table was a mixed experience for me. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful inside and has a really nice atmosphere. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and overall vibe. The food was okay, but I did feel the portions were pretty small for the price. Our waiter recommended a dish that ended up being around $30, and I was surprised when it came out with just a single kabob served over yogurt. It just wasn't really what I expected and the dish didn't quite work for me flavor-wise. That said, my friend ordered one of the meat flatbreads and really enjoyed it, so I think some menu items may be stronger than others. Overall, I'd say it's worth visiting for the ambiance, but I'd probably order differently next time. read more

The owner actually had to direct him to our table because he saw we were seated for so long with no progress. Big ups to the dude by the way, pleasant fellow. Gets people seated and even offered for people to come inside for the warmth. Whenever our server was around it was good but bro was not around. For a restaurant at this price point, that's just not acceptable. The place is vibrant and modern. The presentation of the food here is spot on and makes it look extra appetizing.
