I came in today around 2pm. I wanted to eat crab legs while I was waiting for an oil change on my car. I came in and nobody acknowledged me. I finally spoke up and a young man with dreads apologized and seated me. I sat, waited nobody came to take my order. There were 4 other tables there. 2 had just 2 customers seated together and the other 2 may have had 3 or 4 customers sitting together. There's no reason for this poor service. Food is not good.... Got the shrimp dog crab basket and it was two strange looking deep fried crab things ... the scallops were boiled and gross. Most of us shared a the family feast boil with garlic and a spice level 3. It was really flavorful. I would've rather we less spice and my husband wanted more. My MIL had the soft shelled crab and really enjoyed it. My teenage son foolishly ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a level 5 spice level. It was wonderful comedy as he complained that it was burning in his ears. He was able to finish it with a knife and fork (because that's a lesson he needed to learn apparently). Hands down the best seafood place in Nevada. My boyfriend and I tried this place because all the Hot & Juicy's in Vegas were 4hr waits no guarantee on a Thursday night.. come on now. We called here and are NOT disappointed with our decision. The Crabs & Lobster are FRESH you can see the tank where they are kept. The seasoning are perfect for my cajun taste buds (lol) Their dippen' butter is perfect and they give you large portions. Wow! What a great experience. Our server, Lela, was super-friendly and helpful! She saw we were first-timers and took time to explain everything and answer our questions. My husband had raw oysters on the half shell, yummy. We took Lela's suggestion to try the Trifecta sauce on our Boil For Two and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp, crab, and lobster were all cooked perfectly and some of the best we've ever had. It's REALLY messy though, so don't wear a white shirt. And probably not good for a first date, unless you don't mind your date seeing you chomp, slurp, and drip delicious seafood all over the place!
