We were not impressed with this restaurant. We ordered the calamari appetizer, there was no warning that the cocktail sauce had a little spice to it. The calamari was a bit soggy. I ordered the catfish basket and was told that the fryer was behind. It took awhile to get my food. And when I finally received the basket, the catfish was heavy breaded and seasoned with too much salt. My fries were not crispy enough. And The coleslaw was very plain. My boyfriend ordered the crawfish boil with shrimp with the sweet and sour sauce. The crawfish was soggy and the waitress didn't inform him that the sides potatoes/corn were $.50 -$1.00 each. He also ordered a clam chowder soup. The cornbread was moist and fluffy and a bit too sweet. We ordered 2 specialty alcoholic drinks. Both were pretty strong. Service was okay. First time here and I was throughly impressed with the menu and the meal! I definitely recommend this place to all seafood boil lovers and those who are obsessed with spicy food! I came in with my family and they all absolutely loved the food! Their King Crab was so tender and juicy.. the Head On Shrimp is also a must! Disappointing all around. I live nearby and really wanted this to be a new go-to spot for all things seafood. Unfortunately, I will likely not return. The place is nice inside and the staff were friendly. Service was good. Nice bar. This is about the food. Short version: If you want the seafood boil in a bag, it's worth a trip. We ordered two of these bags and found the shrimp with head-on and king crab to be good. We have had better in town, but it's clear that the seafood boil is the specialty of this restaurant. The Trifecta flavor combination was good. Long version: If you want anything other than a seafood boil in a bag, enter at your own risk. We ordered a fried shrimp basket, red beans and rice, and hush puppies. The fried shrimp is simply terrible. It's the smallest shrimp you can find in the ocean breaded with the thickest batter available. It might be the worst fried shrimp our family has ever had. As my father said "I've had much better fried shrimp at Long John Silver." I'm not sure why they don't use the larger shrimp (seafood boils) for their fried shrimp, but they don't. The french fries are bland. The red beans and rice are terrible. It's literally a spoonful of white rice with a spoonful of basic beans placed on top without any other seasonings. The red beans and rice at Popeye's Chicken is a hundred times better than here. The hush puppies were pretty good. All in all, if my family thinks that fast food options kill this joint, it's probably a place you should think twice about. There are much better seafood options in town. I was really excited to check this place out because for one it is super close to our home and we were hella craving for some good ol crab and lobster. Its really hard to miss this restaurant, with their rustic decor and open parking lot it was a breeze to find parking. We got seated right away upon walking in and the tables all had white construction paper laid over it. Their menu was pretty easy to understand and had just a little bit of variety you would want even if you weren't up to getting a pound or so bag of seafood. My gf and I ended up ordering their gumbo, lobster roll and a side of potato salad. To wash it down, we each ordered a cocktail off their drink menu which my drink came out pretty well balanced but as for my gf it was pretty heavy in syrup which she was too scared to tell the server so she just added more water to fix it, but still didn't fix the problem. Our food arrived except for the potato salad, I was already halfway into my meal that I didn't even notice until my gf pointed it out so I figured I would just wait for the bill to see whether she forgot to put it in or if the kitchen just forgot to produce inputted item. The whole vibe of the place felt a little off, it was definitely overstaffed for such a slow night and their were just too many employees standing by their stations staring at us and the guests which made me feel a little uncomfortable. I normally am not the one to really have things like that bother me, but with barely any guests dining in and more employees than guests it was really hard not to notice and try to enjoy the experience there. As for the food, the lobster roll was ok but nothing stellar, and the gumbo soup didn't taste like the gumbo we would expect it to be...it was bland. Our server was good but she just hit the mark short of tying in our first positive experience there. Overall, the place has potential it just needs some more tweaking. I'd like to give this place another try probably on a busy night to see what they are like, since their full bar didn't have a bartender and that probably made sense why my gf cocktail just wasn't well balance. As for the missing side item, it wasn't on my check so I knew our server totally forgot lol but thats what happens when your server doesn't write anything down. Being a server myself, you can be great memorizing your tables order but I know even on slow days when you try to test your memory order skill it does tank even on slow days and that was the case with us that night. read more

It's a seafood boil place. You can order individual or family style. They family was plenty for four adults. The trifecta mild sauce that came on the boil was still pretty spicy. The server was talkative and helpful with what to get and how to do add-ons or upgrades. Went to this spot consistently because I enjoyed the trifecta sauce. On this particular occasion I asked for medium spice and it was so spicy I couldn't eat it. I order the same thing every time so I know for a fact my food was over spiced . Talk to the manager and he told me that the spice level is a 2 and to order a 1 next time. Told me I will have a free meal next time. But what to do with this bag? It's in the trash. No one can eat that , my face, lips and fingers are all still burning. Waste of 30 bucks. Came in today for the first time. Had the hush puppies, fish and chips, and key lime pie. Hush puppies had a jalapeño flavor to them. Pretty good. Then the fish and chips. I think maybe the fish was a tad over cooked? But still good. Fries... yum! Potato salad tasted good. Almost like smiths potato salad.. which is good because it like their potato salad. The key lime pie was good. I think it could've been a smidge bigger. Our soda and water was served in a plastic cup and paper cup. Not sure if that is the style of the restaurant or a covid thing. I'm a bigger fan of dishware but to each their own. The food came out hot and crispy. Wasn't a fan of the tarter. I'm used to traditional tarter myself. Overall a good experience. Food was really good overall. The trifecta sauce at 1 heat was my favorite. My boyfriend got heat 3 Cajun & said it wasn't much flavor but had heat. Fries were okay. Nothing special. Passionfruit lemonade was really good. And the strawberry lime cocktail was good but definitely heavy of the strawberry syrup. We went on a Saturday at around 4:30, & service was quick. Pretty empty but definitely started to fill up as 5PM came around. Overall large place with a bunch of seating indoor and outdoor. (we sat indoor) the both we sat at was a bit uncomfortable, it felt like the seat was really high, but the table was very low. Portion sizes are decent as well. But yeah everything was great. Saw this place on TikTok so you know I had to try it! As always brought my faves w me because we all love a good seafood boil. Our server was Teaka and she was so helpful and kind! Definitely made our lunch a little more fun we got one cocktail to share cause we did have errands to run today, but it was yummy. For sure will come back to indulge their cocktail menu a little more. We ordered the fried platter appetizer and some Cajun fries. The platter was good, the calamari was a bit over cooked but let me tell you those fries were so bomb, mmm! We got a family meal that served 3-4 and it was so delicious. Absolutely loved it here! Our server was very accommodating and funny. The manager I believe was walking around with a live lobster and a crocodile to lighten up the mood and the food was so good. I really liked the combo choices they had and the option to get the shrimp peeled already. Shrimp was cooked well but the lobster was a bit dry.
