Incompetency and fithy at its finest. Placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Get there on time and the cashier said that I should have paid over the phone to process the order. The guy took my name and number over the phone and no record upon my arrival lol. I was told I have to wait another 15-20 min for the fried app. Didn't even offer to fire it ASAP. Now, I could have had patience and waited if I was not on a tight schedule yet wouldn't bother as the front doors glass are both filthy with 1 toilet stall handle to open seriously...If the front of house is that incompetent while allowing nasty w/grimmy sticky surfaces, I can only imagine what isn't seen in the BOH. Ordered an oyster po-boy without lettuce and tomatoes, and literally half the container was lettuce and tomatoes with some gross little fried rectangular patties on top and some stale bread under all of it. Took it back and they claimed they were processing a refund, even gave me the printout, but the refund never hit my checking account so now I have to dispute with the bank. Been here man times and loved it always so decided I wanted to go for my birthday. Literally the worst experience and because of it I'll never be back. Called at 11 in the morning to make a reservation the lady I talked to said it was cool and that we could all sit together. (Party of 11) Got there for a reservation at 7 pm... and the manager said no reservation was made and that they don't even accept reservations so we would have to wait and that we also couldn't sit together. After waiting an hour for a table they sat half of us on one side of the restaurant and the other half of my party sat on the other side of the restaurant. That was just the start of an awful night. Took 15 minutes for someone to come over to get our drink/food order and then 45 minutes to get the drinks and another 15 to get food one by one. Someone in my party ordered salmon and shrimp with the trifecta sauce.. he was never told that the sauce came on the side. He got his food... he just thought it lacked some flavor. As he was about to take his last bite of food the server comes over and brings his trifecta sauce. Very unfair that she never told him she still had to bring out the sauce and why the hell did it take so long to get a little side of sauce. We had brought an ice cream cake and asked them to put it in the freezer until we were done with dinner... which they never did so she brought out a melted cake that nobody wanted to eat. Just a terrible experience and THE WORST service. We will never go back. And by the way the food wasn't the best either... so everything sucked. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

I would like to start off by saying the food was delicious. My only complaint, I was double charged and i tried several times to get it fixed. Called multiple times and showed up to the restaurant as well the day after, I left my information twice and never got a call from the manager or owner like the cashier told me I would. Amazing seafood delivered hot and ready to make a mess of! I recommend visiting during off peak times as people tend to spend a lot of time at their table and so turn over isn't fast. I waited over an hour one Saturday night and wound up leaving to another nearby seafood spot which seated me right away. Honestly we love this place when it first opened but the last year so it's been really rough. And the visit a week or so ago was no different. I don't understand how if you're running a restaurant at reduce capacity you still can't have enough servers to at least serve half the customers. There was only two waitresses for the entire restaurant edit took forever to get drinks and food.Food he still seems to be good But service is just terrible. I know the owners took over a year or so ago but we're right back to the same old angry crab we quit visiting. Wife and I had dinner tonight for the first time. I had a 2lb Lobster and 1lb of King crab with sausage in butter/old bay. She had 2lb of Snow crab in garlic butter with coleslaw and cornbread. I had a spicy bloody mary which was amazing, and she had a hurricane. The bill was about 160 bucks plus a generous tip... which we expected. The server was amazing as she explained everything and answered all of our questions clearly and ensured we knew what we were getting into. We will absolutely be eating here again ! This place is good, great customer service but the food was lacking flavor. I understand they are going for that cajun garlic spicy lousiana flavor but I've tried the authentic version and this falls below that. I do not mean to pick a fight nor am I attempting to. However, within our review we stated we only saw "Two" waitresses & was only asked by "One" server if everything was OK? This was a completely honest review & yet the management responds by saying... "The whole team was there for us & management even checked up on us"? 'Lies' complete & utter blatant 'Lies'!!! Unless you're confusing us for another customer later that day. Which I can't see that as possible when we have photo's attached. We never 'Once' seen or spoke to management nor did we request to? So due to the fact that they respond to reviews with lies like that? We will definitely never return or recommend this place to anyone we know! We didn't request to speak to anyone about that horrible customer service simply because we don't like to complain & if we don't like the service or food we just won't & don't return. The menu overwhelmed me, because I didn't know what to expect. So let me help you: all the seafood is ordered by the pound. I don't know why we interpreted that to mean each one of us had to order a pound... but we did. In fact, my DH ordered over TWO pounds of Dungeness crab because the waiter asked him if he were hungry. Well of course he was. We had fun being amazed at the pile of food on our table.. I have went to the Angry Crab in Phoenix and loved it! So you can imagine how excited I was to see that this restaurant was in Tucson! I was very disappointed at the service. We decided to sit at the bar and ordered some drinks. The beer was warm and sitting at the bar was a couple with a young child. I feel that that was unacceptable and the bartender should have asked them to sit somewhere else. After waiting an hour to sit at the table I ordered the $16 Snow Crab (which is what I went there for). I was told that they we're out of the snow crab and that it would be an hour if I wanted to wait for the snow crab. They offered the king crab which was $30, so it was almost double the price! They never offered any substitute comprable at a discounted rate which is what usually is done in this type of situation. This restaurant just came under new ownership this week, and they're doing a great job so far! I was a little worried after reading some bad reviews on here, but I couldn't have been happier with my experience here. My family came here for lunch and were seated immediately. The waitress explained the menu to us and was able and eager to answer all of our questions. We got the charred oysters, the twin lobster rolls with fries, clam chowder, and a huge brisket plate with potato salad, cole slaw, beans, and hush puppies, for $50 total. The oysters were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and came with a nice small loaf of warm bread. The lobster rolls came with a generous amount of meat and had a nice delicate flavor, and we all really liked the Cajun-seasoned fries! The brisket was unbelievably tender and juicy, which was a little unexpected for a seafood place but made my dad (who doesn't like seafood) very happy. Overall, we had a great experience here- for anyone considering it, I'd say give it a shot! read more

Do not eat here! On 11/10/2017 I had an awful experience, we ordered a few appetizers, two pound bag of shrimp and mussels, we ordered some other items which included a main lobster. We waited 30 minutes for our server Miranda to bring a lobster cracker, but never received it. Once Miranda came by the table we just asked for the bill and the lobster to go. Once we got home we opened the bag of lobster and we were disgusted! the lobster (including the tail) had green guacamole looking stuff coming out. I called the restaurant and explained my concern, the hostess had me on a hold for 15 minutes, when she got back on the line, she said the manager would call me back because he was not in. I got a call back 5 minutes later from Felipe Martinez, I explained my experience, his response was he was not able to give me a full refund because he would take a loss due to the price, which was $50. He also stated because I was not returning after my experience, he would be at a loss if a refund was given. I sent him pictures, he stated the green stuff was normal and suggested I still eat the lobster.I told him I was at the restaurant and I will be leaving the lobster there, he response was the same. He refused to give me a full refund and only offered me $25 back without an alternative. This would mean they would still keep the product and half of my money. This is poor customer service to me, I work at a place that takes pride in their work and if there ever is a problem you correct it immediately, not make a customer that spent $130 feel like they were robbed, by keeping their money and the product. This left a sour taste in mouth, the fact that the "manager" insisted the lobster was normal and advised me to eat it, is completely unacceptable, I will never go to this place again! read more

Went here on a Friday for my best friend's birthday. Huge group (about 20 or so), and because we were so many we knew we would be throttled back in support. This actually wasn't the case. The customer service was awesome, always attentive, and they made the whole environment feel awesome! The food was awesome, and we all left over-stuffed (the way a good birthday meal should be). This will definitely be a place that I visit again. I recommend getting the lobster...its an experience in itself! read more

Took my sister to angry crab for the first time. I've been telling her how good it is. Not disappointed. We're both originally from Louisiana and the gumbo and catfish is top notch. You would think you were down south. The very best gumbo we have had in Tucson. The catfish was southern fried, batter was perfect and crispy, stayed on the fish and didn't fall off the fish. She was yelling and was like mad at the fact that it's loud there and she couldn't here me. Then she find the server I was talking about, tells her about it and she's like yeah I remember. How do I love thee? Let me count... the shrimps in my bag full of spicy goodness. We love the Trifecta sauce (Kajun + Lemon Pepper + Garlic) at medium spice level. We also add corn on the cob and red potatoes with each of our one-pound bag of shrimps. I get mine unshelled and my partner-in-dine gets fancy with the shelled ones. The medium spice level is just perfect in such a way that it leaves a tingling sensation in our mouths without burning our taste buds.
