A group of about 7 of us ate here for brunch on Sunday with out a reservation, so a wait was to be expected. We were given a 45 minute wait time, but it ended up being closer to an hour and 15 minutes. Once we were seated our orders were taken right away. The waitress was very attentive and kept us updated on the progress of our order. Like I said, it was busy, so it did take a while for the meal to come out, but when it did it did not disappoint! I had gotten the veggie omelet with goat cheese, an English muffin and fruit. My order was correct with modifications, large portion size and it was delicious. My husband had gotten the blueberry French toast with a side of eggs and bacon, as well as a side of biscuits and gravy, which he devoured. All in all, the food was worth the wait! The manager and staff were fantastic as well. If we ever come back to Nashville we will definitely eat here again! read more

Holy Cow! Best breakfast place we've been to in a long time. Had waffles, seafood eggs benedict, and chicken and waffles and everything was great. If I could give them a negative 5, I would. So pissed. Got there today at 10:30, ordered our food pretty quickly. We were wondering what was going on after a half hour passed and no food. We weren't the only ones not being served. Waitress 'finally' came by about 40 minutes after we ordered to say the kitchen was backed up due to some big parties (even though we only saw one larger than our (5people) - but c'mon- this is a Wed morning. She brought out a small plate of bienets about 5 minutes later to keep us pacified. And then we waited....and waited......and waited some more. Absolutely unforgivable!!! After 1 hour after our arrival we got up and walked out. We'll NEVER grace this shitty establishment ever again. Where the hell was the manager. Nowhere to be found, just a bunch of workers picking their asses. Lesson learned. read more

Yikes...I did not have a great experience at this place. First, I ordered a cold brew with coconut milk. When it arrived it tasted like old coffee grounds and they gave me a bowl of coconut milk from a can! That really should NOT be poured into coffee!! I had no idea it would be so thick, so it ruined my already mediocre iced coffee. Next, I ordered 2 scrambled eggs with a side of fruit and I had a choice of meat, so I asked the waitress for her advice on what meat was best - she said she was a vegetarian and thought they all tasted gross. I'm sorry, what?? You're telling a customer the food is GROSS??? That put me off. The turkey sausage I ended up getting actually tasted just fine! Then my eggs arrived and I couldn't taste the eggs because of all the butter in them. I am someone who tries to stay away from rich foods, so I was kind of freaked out by how buttery the eggs were. My friend got the protein bowl which turned out to good but nothing special, a pretty tasteless breakfast salad. Lastly, the service took such a long time - we were sitting in this place for 1.5 hours even though it took us 10-15 min to eat our food. Have eaten at several of these from Cali to Georgia this one by far is the worst...I had the veggie omelet and my meal was served lukewarm and the English muffin was cold (if I didn't know any better I think this was done because the staff is underpaid or lack skills in serving others)...the fresh fruit was good and so was my juice. The meal itself cost $15 for a omelet that was basically fried scrambled eggs folded over with the vegetables scrambled in yuk!!!...this cook would never make it France because he doesn't know how to cook a simple egg and veggie omelet...the stars is for the server and thank God she was kind and the only reason I left a tip...by the way the restaurant was full of one race (something I've never seen in Another Broken Egg before) and just maybe that's why the food was so mediocre...my friend (who lives in Nashville) said that's the main reason why she never eats in downtown Nashville because it totally lacks diversity and I must agree...my recommendation is to eat elsewhere and wait until you go somewhere between Georgia and California to try this restaurant chain read more

The food was pretty alright. Menu was a typical breakfast restaurant with a few interesting gems (I had a bite of my friend's bacon jam french toast which was pretty fab). My kids enjoyed the waffles. My main complaint was with the service. We waited forever between every step, and we were only one of like 6 occupied tables in the whole place while there were a gaggle of staff standing around at the host station. Delicious breakfast! Went with a group: Hubby's crab cakes looked and tasted wonderful. Biscuit and gravy was a friend's favorite, portabella wrap with bacon added was very tasty to me. Visiting Nashville for a long weekend and stopped here for breakfast. Ordered the skinny omelette. It was delicious and guilt free! Sometimes egg white omelettes can be bland but this one was really tasty because of the goat cheese, roasted garlic and oregano. Friendly and attentive staff at the bar. The food was ok, nothing special. Not even diner quality. But what really brought my rating down was the service. Forgotten requests, no follow up, ended up cancelling one order because they kitchen never did it, essentially ignored once the majority of the food was on the table. Not much value for the money. The menu options caught our eye so we thought it was the perfect place for breakfast. I ordered the crab cake Benedict. The presentation was great, however, my first bite I noticed the burnt English muffin and funky/tangy taste of the crab cake. I moved the crab cake to the side of my plate and attempted to eat the poached egg, but about half way through, I noticed the middle of the egg was completely raw. When I told the server, she was very rude and unapologetic. I would not recommend the food nor service. Very disappointing. read more

We were recommended by the waitress to get the beignets but they were overdone and we did not even finish a half order between 2 of us. Surprisingly good breakfast/brunch spot in the middle of downtown. I went for lunch and shared the Biscuit Beignets to start. They are served with an orange/honey marmalade, which nicely compliments the deep-fried beignets. Note that portion sizes are big, so I probably did not need to get an appetizer with my meal, but I also don't regret it! I got the Southwest Scramble for my main course. This scramble comes with tortillas instead of English muffins. Mexican fans will love this dish because it is filled with spicy chorizo, peppers, and lots of cheese. It also comes with salsa and guacamole. I was impressed at their guac...it tasted homemade. First and foremost, the FOOD was awesome! Typically I would think - 'Breakfast is Breakfast' but they took it to a whole new level. Crabcakes Cavallo was my first ever experience with Eggs Benedict and yes, I'm a fan! They just did it RIGHT. Service was really good and the price was about as expected for what we had. My girlfriend and I stopped into Nashville for the first time a couple of weeks ago searching for a cute café to grab some breakfast. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a shot. The environment is warm and welcoming and the food was absolutely wonderful. I got a cream cheese omelette with crab meat on top and it was by far one of the best omelettes i have ever had. I also ordered a kiwi mango mimosa which was divine. The service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender did a great job balancing her guests and making drinks.
