    Cajun Shrimp & Crawfish Omelette

My wife and I love having brunch at Another Broken Egg Café whenever we don't feel like making it at home. They have a great menu, but they also come up with a very interesting seasonal menu, and I make it a point to try all of it. The service never disappoint the team is always cheerful and welcoming. The café is usually busy, although I've never made a reservation. They have plenty of seating, as well as barstools at the bar. On my recent visit, I ordered their eggs with crawfish and shrimp, while my wife got the huevos rancheros. The seafood eggs were amazing slightly fishy, packed with protein, and definitely loaded with calories. The sides were great, too. My wife enjoyed her order as well; everything was packed with flavor. We also had the beignets, and they were hands down the best I've had in a while. They were crispy on the outside, soft and dense on the inside, and came with a side of orange zest sauce. The sauce was so refreshing, with a perfect balance of tangy and sweet.

Where to start, there was a line so we had to wait outside which had quite a few homeless people sitting there waiting for food to be given to them. Once inside the staff was so kind and helpful. Our waitress was the best! They did have Gluten Free options which was very nice and they were good. I ordered the Cold Brew and it was gross. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give it a 5 on cleanliness. I guess they allow pets so we listened to this dog bark as the owner threw waffles on the floor for him to eat. I happened to not be a pet person so this was a struggle for me + I felt bad for the dog. All those dirty feet walking on that floor and that dog was eating off of it. Didn't feel right. They did mess up our bill and we ended up realizing after that we over paid. Overall I do not recommend and wouldn't go back. If our waitress wouldn't have been amazing this would have been a 1 star review.

My husband and I were thrilled to have come across this restaurant. It was a 15 minute walk from where we were staying and well worth the walk. Mandy took great care of us and I took up her suggestion on the cinnamon roll French toast which was amazing with the fresh fruit. A customer getting seated behind us looked at my plate and said what is that cause I don't even need a menu, I want what she is having. My husband's omelette was also good cause I did sneak a few bites. Restaurant is spacious, clean, and we had a great view of Dolly Parton's Song Teller Hotel which is opening soon.

We had a wonderful breakfast with the sweetest server, Mandy. She recommended the Cinnamon roll French toast and it was delicious. Quick and efficient service and delicious food in a cute little diner made for a great start to our day!

Patrick was our sever & we loved him! He was quick & informative. The food was delicious & drinks were strong but so tasty! We had Eggs Benedict- which were wonderful! Potatoes are crispy & good. Lemon blueberry pancakes with goat cheese whipped cream - LOVED THEM! blueberry lemon mimosas & strawberry mimosas were so good, had to uber back to hotel for a nap! lol

Legitimately, this is Nashville's {best} for brunch. We were in town for a weekend to see a show at the Ryman which was top-tier but brunch here was a a close second. You can have it all; the sweet, the savory, the southern, the innovative, and any or all drinks you can think of from mimosas to delicious, dark roasted coffees. **Don't be deterred by the online waitlist either. We were quoted a 30-40 minute wait time, but by the time we left the hotel and arrived we waited only 5 minutes. The kitchen was pumping, the staff was hustling, and everyone was happy and friendly. If I could have taken the cafe home with me as a souvenir from the trip, I certainly would have! PS: get the bourbon banana pancakes!

Hash Brown Benedict with City Grits

I have to admit, this was way better than I was expecting from a restaurant within earshot of Lower Broadway. The food was really good. I got the Hash Brown Benedict, and I was a bit surprised that the hash browns were handmade, not frozen. Everything was good and tasty. I received excellent attentive service (thanks Becka!) and an overall good experience. The interior is bright and welcoming. Definitely a great place to stop for breakfast or brunch.

Excellent breakfast experience today. I had the Biscuit's and Gravy, with Grits. The service was incredibly fast and friendly. Portion size was good and the quality of food was excellent. When in Nashville, this place is worth the stop.

Stumbled upon this location. Wasn't sure on the menu at first but got on the online wait list anyway. I'm more of a plain eater but decided to get the bacon avocado chicken sandwich. This was good, I must say!!! Others in party ordered the lunch combos of soup and salad. Waitress was bubbly, and attentive. Prices were reasonable and location convenient to Broadway. Crowd was just waking up but restaurant was relaxing. Great job handling the crowds walking in.

We waited over an hour to eat here, but boy was the food good. I suggest joining the waitlist ahead of time on Yelp. I would honestly recommend this place to anybody. It's so good! Our server was excellent, and the food is bomb. BTW, if you don't wanna wait and see a spot at the bar, the bar is open seating. Love that there's a bar at a breakfast cafe?!?!? The food is seriously superb. Might be my favorit breakfast in Nashville. I got the Southwest Scrambler and it was literally sooooo yummy! We also got a plate of Bourbon Street Pancakes to share, and they were perfectly sweet. Not toooo sweet, just right. 5 stars.

Came for breakfast after landing in Nashville for my bday trip. It was fairly early around 8 ish not too many people. It had ample seating, family style Cafe. Nice and attentive staff. We were seated and greeted by our waiter who was wonderful. My friend and I ordered the the Mardi Gras omelet which had crawfish, sausage, and shrimp (not that I saw any) but I did see the crawfish and sausage and a side of grits. My other friend had the Lobster omelet with cheese and all side of fruit bowl. And a side of smothered biscuits. We also decided to order a pitcher of Mango Margarita but it was too sweet as well as sour and tasted more like passionfruit juice mixed with alcohol; not a margarita. It was hard to finish it but we tried. All in all the food was good and the service was good. But the margarita needs work. I would definitely reccomend this cafe for breakfast in downtown Nashville and would return.

Looked for a nice breakfast spot close to the hotel. Decided to give Broken Egg Cafe a try. Warm greetings when I entered and a I found an empty spot at the bar where Becca greeted me with a very tasty hot cup of Joe. I had seen the hash online but it wasn't on their new fall menu. Becca said no problem we got that. Glad I asked it is excellent. Good flavor and portion. Exactly what I was looking for. I may have to come back again before I leave.

When Do you "join the waitlist", when you arrive or when you are on your way?

B4 u head there. We did from r hotel. It told us 15 min so we only waited a few once we arrived.

    Do they have outdoor seating?

    No, they do not.

Can they accommodate a group of 12? If not what is the largest table size?

Yes, possibly. But I would call ahead.

Where can I make reservations? I called the restaurant and they told me that I could make reservations here.

Scroll down on the Yelp App and click "Join Waitlist Now".

I can't find their waitlist on here anywhere. They have one, right?

If you call or go in they can put you on a waitlist. Hope that helps

    What about parking?

It's downtown so there is underground parking, unless you can find parking on the street.

Do they offer bottomless mimosas (esp on Sunday)?

they are not bottomless, but they are delicious!

Thankfully when we stopped in on a recent weekday morning there was no wait and we were seated in the most perfect spot right away! We chose an outdoor table! The outdoor patio is so nice, even in the Nashville summer heat!! We got there before it was super hot out and the patio kept us super comfortable the whole time!! :) We had a really great waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help us make the best decisions for what we were craving!! We started with a couple of drip coffees that came out in adorable cups, on saucers, with spoons, very lovely appearance! Quite delicious! We ordered a fried chicken biscuit sandwich that was served with their home fries and a side of country gravy. This was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend trying their table hot sauce! We loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home!! :) We also ordered the Chicken and waffles. This dish is also served with home fries and a then a side of syrup. This meal was also fantastic!! We had a really great experience at Milk and Honey and would highly recommend for someone looking for not just a good meal, but an entire lovely breakfast experience! :) Don't forget to check out their gift shop and bakery treats to go, on your way out!!

We live in Michigan so this southern fare was SUCH a welcomed change!! We walked in to this spot and were immediately struck by how cute it is! I would recommend checking out the menu before you go because once you enter you are immediately in the line to place your order at the counter! There isn't a lot of room in this area so standing there trying to read the menu for an extended time is difficult! I love to read the entire menu before deciding so for me, I need the extra time! ;) We placed our order and then they seated us at one of their tables with a number. The kitchen brings out the order to your table when it's ready. Everything on the menu sounded so very good, it was hard to choose! Because I was using yelp to see what the menu items looked like I was able to spot a "secret menu item" as the staff member explained. I ended up order the "Nasty Princess". The princess sandwich, which is the Nashville hot chicken version, but add gravy and and egg! AMAZING! This was so, so good! I highly recommend! I also ordered a side of the fried potatoes, which were also very good but ended up being way too much food!! The biscuit sandwich was very large and incredibly filling!! :) We also ordered an egg plate with an upgrade to the chronic bacon - HIGHLY recommend the chronic bacon!! This was super delicious and very unique!! We LOVED the cheese grits on this plate as well as the biscuit with jam!! This is a good choice if you like a platter of different, separated items! For drinks we tried an Iced Sunshine latte, which was very tasty, but very sweet and over the top for our preferences while eating a meal. The drip coffee was wonderful! A perfect compliment to any dish!! :) Biscuit Love is the perfect southern charm spot for a WONDERFUL breakfast experience! Super kind staff, super delicious food, super cute atmosphere... you can even purchase a mug or piece of cute merch to take home to remember your fun time!! We will for sure be back!
