The food was very good. Lots of great flavor. The beignets were very good. My husband ordered the turkey and mozzarella panini and I ordered the eggs Benedict. The eggs were undercooked but good otherwise. The panini was delicious. Great flavor combinations. The rating is mainly from the service. Our server was nice but forgot to put our drink orders in, twice! When my husband got his drink, it was the wring thing. He ordered the cold brew Captain Morgan coffee drink and she brought out the salted caramel one. He just drank it to avoid further delays. I didn't even get my drink until I was about done with my entire meal! I got the watermelon cooler, which was good and refreshing but I had to drink it fast given the timing of it being delivered. read more

Went looking for a breakfast place near our hotel and came here based upon the menu. We ordered: Carrot cake pancake stack with cream cheese frosting. This was outstanding with real carrot cake flavor. The frosting was a little sweet for me but that is what makes it frosting right? Made from scratch sage sausage patty. Probably the most flavor I have had from a breakfast sausage ever. Eggs cooked perfectly. She had Belgian waffle with bacon and potatoes. Her opinion was very good but comparable to other places. Potato side was more French fry-like than savory. Wait staff was nice and attentive. We were seated right away. My only complaint of all things is the water. It had a weird detergent taste. Saturday breakfast so we knew there would be a wait. Told 1.5 hrs but we managed to get a seat at bar. Bam! Bloody Mary. Yum. I had poached egg on potato cake Benedict. Perfectly prepared. BFF had city grits (think loaded potato) and lobster brie omelette. Delish. Service is fast because they are pushing bodies through. So it's not the place for a quiet, leisurely meal. I'm giving this place 2 stars because the food is good. This was my second visit into this location and they're always busy and packed, along with the reviews which is always a good thing. My first experience was GREAT, hence why I returned with my entire family, REGRETFULLY. Let's get right to it: -Our waitress was nice, she was seated a few tables at the same time so she was running around a little frantic but was attentive to the fact that things weren't going so smooth. She handled the circumstances very well. -THE BARTENDER (Purple, Red Hair, Dark Brunette) was so rude, dismissive, and I honestly can't believe your in the food/service industry. I still hadn't received lemons that I requested so I used the restroom and stopped by the bar to grab some. I said to the bartender verbatim, "Hi, can I steal some lemons from you, it's been hectic and I still hadn't received any".. she replies, "LOOK I'M THE BARTENDER, THAT DOESN'T HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ME!" It was rude and she could've kept that to herself. I can say the experience this time was very disappointing and I hope management can get ahold on the attitudes and energy within the establishment. I am very compassionate to the fact that due to COVID many places lost a lot of staff but TN restrictions have been lifted long before, so that's def not the case here read more

I was visiting a friend and we decided to go to brunch before I had to catch a flight back to LA. As we walked in, I heard the hostess say two at the bar. Finally made the choices Andouille Sausage grit cakes topped with poached eggs and creole shrimp with a " Tomato, onion and green onion sort of relish. Side orders were beignets and city grits. Incredible meal seasoned to perfection and for me not to add salt or spice is very unusual. This was the right combination of flavors including sweet, savory and spice. Came to town for only 2 days, so I wanted to find a good Gluten-free breakfast for my wife who has Celiacs. What we found was not good, it was AWESOME. It started from the time we entered the restaurant and we were greeted by our server Becca. Once we told her that my wife has Celiacs, she said don't worry "I got you", I have Celiacs as well. They gave great suggestions and made sure that we were taken care of. Aside from the phenomenal experience we had, we noticed that they treated EVERY customer with the utmost respect. They were constantly multitasking and were incredibly efficient. In addition, the food itself was fresh and delicious. The drinks, both alcoholic and non, were also good. Considering this is a very causal breakfast/brunch restaurant, their cocktails are really good--better than I expected. I highly recommend the sangria! The only downside, is u might have to wait a few min for a table, as they are usually always at capacity, even if u add you name to the waitlist ahead of time. My friends had the Alaskan Salmon Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros. I wish the crab cake was more seasoned, I would even recommend some old bay. I highly suggest getting the fresh fruit, there was blackberries, sliced strawberries and fresh kiwi. Perfect place for brunch with the family. Or maybe even a hangover cure.
