Patrick was our sever & we loved him! He was quick & informative. The food was delicious & drinks were strong but so tasty! We had Eggs Benedict- which were wonderful! Potatoes are crispy & good. Lemon blueberry pancakes with goat cheese whipped cream - LOVED THEM! blueberry lemon mimosas & strawberry mimosas were so good, had to uber back to hotel for a nap! lol

I have to admit, this was way better than I was expecting from a restaurant within earshot of Lower Broadway. The food was really good. I got the Hash Brown Benedict, and I was a bit surprised that the hash browns were handmade, not frozen. Everything was good and tasty. I received excellent attentive service (thanks Becka!) and an overall good experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is bright and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a great place to stop for breakfast or brunch.

Stumbled upon this location. Wasn't sure on the menu at first but got on the online wait list anyway. I'm more of a plain eater but decided to get the bacon avocado chicken sandwich. This was good, I must say!!! Others in party ordered the lunch combos of soup and salad. Waitress was bubbly, and attentive. Prices were reasonable and location convenient to Broadway. We waited over an hour to eat here, but boy was the food good. I suggest joining the waitlist ahead of time on Yelp. I would honestly recommend this place to anybody. It's so good! Our server was excellent, and the food is bomb. Might be my favorit breakfast in Nashville. I got the Southwest Scrambler and it was literally sooooo yummy! We also got a plate of Bourbon Street Pancakes to share, and they were perfectly sweet. Not toooo sweet, just right. 5 stars.

Came for breakfast after landing in Nashville for my bday trip. It was fairly early around 8 ish not too many people. It had ample seating, family style Cafe. Nice and attentive staff. We were seated and greeted by our waiter who was wonderful. My friend and I ordered the the Mardi Gras omelet which had crawfish,sausage, and shrimp (not that I saw any) but I did see the crawfish and sausage and a side of grits. My other friend had the Lobster omelet with cheese and all side of fruit bowl. And a side of smothered biscuits. We also decided to order a pitcher of Mango Margarita but it was too sweet as well as sour and tasted more like passionfruit juice mixed with alcohol; not a margarita. It was hard to finish it but we tried. All in all the food was good and the service was good. But the margarita needs work. I would definitely reccomend this cafe for breakfast in downtown Nashville and would return.

Looked for a nice breakfast spot close to the hotel. Decided to give Broken Egg Cafe a try. Warm greetings when I entered and a I found an empty spot at the bar where Becca greeted me with a very tasty hot cup of Joe. I had seen the hash online but it wasn't on their new fall menu. Becca said no problem we got that. Glad I asked it is excellent. Good flavor and portion. Exactly what I was looking for. I may have to come back again before I leave.

Came here with a party of 10, and they had to separate us since our party was too big to be seated at a single table. We initially joined the waitlist online, but I'm not too sure how accurate their online wait system is, because when we all arrived at the restaurant, we were given a whole different time. Initially, after joining the waitlist, we were told it was only a 25 minute wait, and when we got to the restaurant with about 10 minutes left on the wait time, they told us it would be another 40 to 45 minutes. After being seated, everything was smooth sailing. I really enjoyed my margarita as well as my hash brown Benedict. I would also highly recommend the waffle. Someone at my party got the waffle as a side and raved about how amazing it was. Other than the wait, the service was great and the food was pretty solid too.

We decided to try this place as it did come highly recommended from other reviews. To us this was just OK. They were extremely busy and we ended up waiting probably a half hour or more to get a table. They do have a waitlist that you join but that just alerts your phone when the table is ready. When we got in, it took a minute for the waitress to come to the table. She was not very attentive as again, they were extremely busy. The eggs in the omelette were overcooked and brown and just tasted off. The side of grits, fruit, potatoes and an English muffin were standard. There was nothing much spectacular that I guess you couldn't do at home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was really noisy inside and the bathrooms were not very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not sure when we will return again.

YES. A simple, easy, fun and tasty place for breakfast!! Our waitress was fantastic. We have a Instagram friend and our waitress was able to recreate her pic even though it was out of season ! She said, BRB I can make something happen ! Love it. A table of six did not get disappointed other than the fact we didn't all order the blackberry stuffed french toast. cream. ---BLACKBERRY STUFFED FRENCH TOAST French toast stuffed with blackberry cream cheese, topped with mango whipped cream and Foster sauce drizzle. GET IT. I ordered only sides of bacon, and city grits. The city grits are fluffy and super delicious. Beignets biscuits are a nice twist and tasty as well dipped in the sauce ! My friend whom I tried ordered the Louisiana grits, but asked for crawfish in it !! It was scrumptious too. Not a bite left. Back to the blackberry stuffed french toast.... That mango whipped cream has me ready to book a flight back !! read more

Definitely was my favorite brunch restaurant. This location has no free parking near by. Hopefully you are lucky enough to find some parking on the street. If not, be prepared to pay. Usually I will give this place 5 stars but my server was a bit disappointing. He was very nice and courteous but after I got my meal, he disappeared. He didn't come to check to see if i needed more water or to give me my check. Very unprofessional. This experience did leave a bad taste in my mouth. The food was decent but that service was unforgettable. Maybe you will have a better server than I. read more

Breakfast Delicious Everything from service, cleanliness, and food was 5 star. Portions are large. Biscuits were flaky and warm. Omelet was more than 1 person could eat with hashbrowns and an English muffin. Coffee came with options for creamer. Service was sweet and quick. This delicious restaurant was on the same block as our Airbnb so we ate here 2 days in a row. My husband got the southwest scramble both days in a row because he loved it so much. I got the biscuits and gravy one day and the cinnamon French toast day two. the French toast was amazing and came with eggs and bacon. We got a pitcher of mimosas each day. The staff was great especially the bartender as she was from our area we are visiting from. Highly recommend. read more

I love this place and it makes me wish I wasn't just here on vacation. This place is adorable. We got some free powdered sugar beignets for being a first time visitor. It came with orange marmalade for dipping and I couldn't have eaten them any quicker. Next I had the strawberry power waffle which had strawberries and avocado on top as well as whip cream and a honey drizzle. So good!! It also came with eggs and choice of sausage or bacon. Overall, I loved this place. The servers and staff were all very efficient and friendly. read more

Got into Nashville early Thursday morning from Philadelphia. And needed something to do before we checked into our hotel. So figured we might as well grab some breakfast. So we asked our Uber driver good breakfast places to eat. And her first answer was "another broken egg". So that's where we went. It was pouring down raining but we made our way. And boy am I happy we made it... The place was packed at 11 something. (But it closes at 2pm so that could be an adding factor of why it was packed) We walked right in, but all the tables where full so we just decided to sit at the bar. We were tired from the flight and wet from the rain so we just wanted to sit.... The bartender was soooooooo nice!!! Her personality was amazing and that along with the food made "another broken egg cafe" that more amazing. I was nervous on what to try so I just had your normal breakfast. Bacon, eggs and potatoes which was delicious. But my boyfriend had the "Brisket Benedict" DELICIOUS!!!! I never had a poached egg a day in my life because it looks gross to me. But after that , I was like Dr. Seuss "I will eat poached eggs here, I will eat poached eggs there, I will eat poached eggs anywhere" lol.... Please, please, please if you are in Nashville please try it. My boyfriend and I told anybody we could tell that weekend in Nashville how great that breakfast was!!!! Also for drinks my boyfriend had bloody Mary's which he really seemed to enjoy because he had two and I had the blueberry Mimosa which was really good as well... Now I can not vouch for how service is if you are seated at a table. But if you go to the bar and eat the service is beyond great and the service is fast! The place is pretty nice in the inside, big and clean. I didn't get inside pics because I was soaking wet from the rain lol. But this places gets a thumbs up from me read more

Great place to go for breakfast or brunch in Nashville - but you will not be alone! Place seams to be well known. We went on Black Friday Morning around 10:30am and were lucky to get a table right away. Very, very friendly service and a nice interior - only negative - they put in a lot of tables - for the servers it's really narrow or if you have to see the restrooms - you have to circle around. Advice for the management: take 2-3 tables out to give a little more space (I know probably I'd have to wait next time to get a table). I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and my wife the French Toast. All was really good and nice portion size - and good value for the money. They also have a good coffee roast. So I would definitely come again. read more

5-19-23 Breakfast at 7am Friday morning and were the first ones here. Blueberry lemon mimosa and the Strawberry St. Jermaine drinks were really good. I ordered the SHRIMP AND GRITS and it was absolutely delicious, throw in some country potatoes with it...so good! We also had the lobster and brie omlete and it was good. The entire menu looked really good but SHRIMP AND GRITS is the way to go for sure! Our server was very good and so nice. We will definitely be back again tomorrow for breakfast. Thank you. read more

Absolutely obsessed with this restaurant, so much we came back the next day. I am gluten free and there were so many delicious options! They even brought me gluten free toast without me asking! If you get a chance to sit at the bar with Becca, you will not be disappointed! She is the best server/bartender we have ever met. This place was good! My pancakes were very good! Though I did not like the taste of the sausage patties, whatever herbs they use, my tastebuds did not like! My boyfriend for the Benedict, which he said was good. Our server unfortunately never came back so our water glasses sat empty. That's the only draw back to this place. I would definitely recommended joining the waitlist from Yelp as it saved us a lot of time waiting at the restaurant! read more

Awesome, casual spot for a large breakfast menu. Often a wait so place your wait ahead on Yelp. Worth a little wait - delicious omelettes / breakfast options. Looked like they had a wide variety of drinks and full bar, I'd have to go back to partake. Huge portions, very reasonable prices. I'd return! read more

We had a small breakfast, so I tried their French toast and full size (8) of beignets. French toast was good and the beignets were extremely covered in powder which I loved. They are served with a honey marmalade and I really did enjoy it. Took a while to get our food out, even though it wasn't a complicated order, and unfortunately they are going to discontinue making hot chocolate since their machine is broken. So try them out but be prepared to wait for your food to be ready. read more

Loved our breakfast here and love that they allow you to add your name to the waitlist from your phone before coming (and give you a time estimate). Definitely do that b/c it gets busy! Restaurant is clean, staff is very efficient and friendly. Our server, Brianne, was awesome!!!! She made us love our food and the restaurant even more! Such a ray of sunshine! We have some food allergies to gluten and soy and Brianne was totally all over it! She knew that they cook in soybean oil but had them instead do ours in olive oil. Also able to get GF bread instead of regular toast. Side of fruit was great - not the cheap tasteless honeydew. Nope - they gave us blackberries, strawberries, watermelon. Came here on a Friday morning for breakfast. Everywhere in the area had at least an hour wait, as did this location. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of home fries. Other meals at the table included the french toast cinnamon roll, crab cake and fried green tomatoes, and a sausage biscuit with home fries. Also, a cucumber bloody mary. Overall, an average meal. The chicken was a little overdone and dry, and the home fries were just regular potatoes - no added flavors or seasonings. The sausage was good, but was not extraordinary. The one special food about this location, however, was the french toast cinnamon roll. It was delicious and aesthetic. The taste favored the cinnamon roll side over french toast, and made me wish that I had ordered that. Overall, would not say it was worth the hour wait. We had a large group and were in a pinch for brunch, and Fortunately this spot let us reserve a place in line online! They have many many Benedict options, all which looked delicious. I think our table ordered almost every variation, and everything looked fabulous. They also have a banana bread French toast which, while I did not have, smelled incredible and I'll definitely be trying out next time. Average breakfast spot. Bloody Mary's were premixed but ok. The service was super slow and our table was open for at least 15 mins before them seating us despite the huge crowd waiting for tables. They don't flip tables quickly enough making the wait long for no reason. The server would come and it would be quite awhile before he'd come back. At one point he went " is there anything else anyone wants before I go" super rude . We tried to order everything at once because we didn't know when he'd come back to us .. Food was average. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. As I walked in this exquisite cafe we were greeting by a stunning young lady who proceeded to take our names. After she completed standard protocol we were taken to our tables, which had a fine wood finish. The menus were clear and to the point. The chocolate milk was extraordinary and its serving glass and style made me feel like a rich man. There is brilliant artwork on the walls with works works by Pablo Picasso and Leonardo DaVinci. There were 3 Mona Lisa's! When I walked in I felt like a ninja turtle. As the wind grasped my ear I knew this is where I wanted to eat. As I received my free Beignets for writing this review I dug my teeth into the succulent goodness of those little balls of angel meat I nearly fainted from the intensity of the flavors. I knew I wanted to have my first baby here and they would cater to my wedding (although, I do not know if they cater.) but the point is I fell in love. More so the Captain Jack Sparrow loved his Jar of Dirt. To anyone who passes up the pure heavenly nature of this establishment will be sorry they did. I've been to Another Brolem Egg Cafe a few times recently (one time in mid-July and twice in mid-August) and I have to say every time I've been theres always been great service and great food. The first time we went we had Paul, and he was a great server to have as an introduction to Broken Egg. It was busy but he was able to keep our waters filled, and was on top of our food. The second time we had Athena as our server and she was also great. She was on top of our food and amazing at giving advice for foodstuffs as well as cocktails. The third time around we had Paul again and he was on top of or preferences, even though it had been a month since we had seen him specifically. It was nice to see a familiar friendly face. Overall, the food is amazing and the people are great. I would recommend the Friend Green Tomatoes and Crab Cakes if you want something not to heavy and breakfasty. And their bengiets are on point! They are amazing to share or munch on for yourself. Check out this place in Nashville for a great breakfast/brunch/lunch scene. read more

So I went to this location yesterday, and was waited on by the manager herself Kimberly! She was extremely kind, and took the time to ask if I had any questions about the menu, and even made suggestions that were helpful! She was attentive, and at the time of my arrival the restaurant was spotless. During my wait the gentleman mopping the floors also asked me how my day was, and the overall ambiance of the place was phenomenal. The food was fresh and delicious and my overall experience was great from beginning to end! We had never eaten at Another Broken Egg Cafe before. What a pleasant surprise!. It was not at all what we expected. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The fried green tomatoes and crab cake appetizer was delightfully tasty. I had steak and eggs liked I had never had before. The steak was cooked and served on skewers. The seasoning was perfect and the steak melted in your mouth. My husband had the supreme omelet. It was loaded and covered with real melted cheeses. My husband found his Biscuits & Gravy delicious. Our server was both friendly and diligent, ensuring our water and coffee were consistently replenished. Regarding the ambiance, it was very casual but unfortunately not up to cleanliness standards. Such weird customer service. Every friend of mine or coworker that has been to this place, always has an issue with the workers returning their credit cards back to them after paying. When telling that to the manager, they just smile and say "thank you, come again" very weird like almost as if its their way of saying fu** you, who cares. Lol Its a shame. Its close to our work office and people want to go here but they have been shitty to too many employees that now its a joke regarding them and no one wants to go back. read more
