The food was simply amazing. I ordered the crab cavello and everything was perfect. The combination of the poached egg, crispy but not too crunchy crab cake was great. I did not add the sauce but added a Cajun seasoning to the side which topped it off. The server, Jordan was amazing as well and very attentive to my needs. We arrived early on a Saturday so there were only a few others dining. Our server was very friendly and the staff seemed very attentive as well. We ordered and then waited almost 25 min before I asked when we could expect our breakfast. It came out about 2 min later and it was clear that it sat and was nuked as the edges were warm, the middle was cold and the appearance was old. There was no apology, only a statement that there was a "glitch" in the kitchen when the food arrived. That was disappointing to say the least. The taste of the Huevos Rancheros was good so I'm sure it would be great hot. Maybe just the newness still working out the kinks. Worth stopping by but not if you're in a hurry. read more

PLEASE do not eat here if you require gluten free options. I saw that they have a "gluten friendly guide" and do state cross contact with gluten is possible. I decided to order an omelet with no bread from the gluten friendly guide and told my waitress I had an allergy and to let the kitchen know. I even checked with her whether the eggs would be cooked separately from bread and she assured me it would be safe and she would talk to the kitchen. After I had taken a few bites of my food I realized it looked like there were bread crumbs on my plate. I asked the waitress if bread had been placed on my plate and then removed. She confirmed the kitchen had put an English muffin on my plate and then removed it and served it to me anyway. This level of carelessness is so upsetting and goes way beyond "possible cross contact". I was there on my bachelorette trip (which the staff knew) and this experience caused the rest of my trip to be ruined with extreme sickness and also required me to take a sick day from work. This restaurant should not offer a gluten friendly guide and needs training and how severe allergies are and appropriate measures. read more

The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was very poor. My entire party was astounded at the abrupt, brash personality of our server, Renee. Never felt less welcomed to enjoy my food. Told the waitress it was our first hour in Nashville after a long flight and that we looked forward to relaxing and decompressing... she brought us our check WITH OUR FOOD. I literally ate my meal with the check sitting next to my plate. About 15 minutes in I finished my sandwich the waitress came over and took my plate...it still had food on it so it was pretty obvious she was rushing us out the door. So I asked "Is it okay if we chill for a little while?" She actually answered with "No, this is a turn and burn place, but the library is good for that." So much for southern hospitality. Popped in here for breakfast while staying in Nashville. Friendly and quick service. I ordered the Floridian omelet which I thought was delicious. It came with an english muffin and potatoes. They also had this real yummy sauce that was in between barbecue and hot sauce. Went real good on the potatoes. My husband ordered sausage gravy and bisquits along with an eggs benedict on a crab cake. The only complaint he had was the eggs being overcooked. Searching for a breakfast spot, we came across this place. The menu looked inviting so we went in. Its a very cute spot and we were feeling optimistic. Once seated we realized it was a dreaded chain restaurant, something we really wanted to avoid on our trip. However we were starving and a bit hungover so we gave it a shot. Our waitress was very nice, but did the basic up-sell. Appetizer with breakfast?! We passed. She also solicited a yelp review, the waiter with the most gets a prize. Meh, wasn't impressed. Got the chicken and waffles, which were good but nothing great. Wife got the brisket eggs benedict, eggs were over cooked, and the brisket was super fatty. Kinda sad. Waitstaff was great, on top of keeping my coffee full. One other pet peeve, the plates kept sliding on the table, every cut I had to reposition the plate. We came in on a Saturday morning, which is expected to be quite busy, and we waited a short 20 minutes for a table which wasn't bad at all. However, the place is very small and they had many tables crammed in the restaurant so everyone was bumping into people as they walked by. Servers continually bumped into us as they walked by with food. Due to the amount of people in the small area, the place is very loud and they had music turned up loud as well. The food was okay, and pretty quick to be served. However, some of it smelled like propane from being cooked. We did not have a chance to mention it to our server because he never came back after taking our order, only to drop off the check. It might be better when it's less busy. read more

Went on new years eve for my.moms birthday. Drove all the way from cookeville. The wait was long , to be expected. We walked around to kill some time and went back. We had to ask multiple times for a glass of water we were missing, to-go boxes, etc. I had a biscuit with sausage gravy and ordered a side of chorizo. I will admit, I am a gravy snob and anything less than homemade is disgusting to me, but he assured me it wasn't from a mix. I was pleasantly surprised when the gravy was good! I added the chorizo on top and it was SO good! I also tried the cinnamon roll! I believe the menu called it a "Monster" cinnamon roll. I wouldn't go so far as to claim it as monstrous. It was a very average sized cinnamon roll, BUT it came warm with gooey cream cheese frosting melting into it, so it was still worth the $4 in my opinion! I sampled the beignet biscuit things (tasty!) and the city grits that my friend got. Both were delicious! I would definitely try the grits if I went back again. Came here for brunch on a Sunday during our bachelorette weekend in Nashville. It was pretty busy, we waited about 45 minutes for a table. While we waited, I bought us a round of mimosa, which were delicious. It was disappointed, because the food took FOREVER to come out. I'm pretty sure it was another hour before our meals arrived. Yes, they were busy.. but I'm not sure what the hold up in the kitchen was for everyone's food. We were starving by the time it had arrived. I went into Another Broken Egg for a quick breakfast. Coffee took almost thirty minutes after multiple reminders and when my breakfast arrived, the potatoes were incredibly dry and cold. AND when my eggs with lox arrived, they were freezing and sitting in a pool of lox water. The waitress was incredibly unhelpful even though she knew I was in a bit of a rush. Excellent! I went 4 days in a row whilst in Nashville. Make sure to put yourself in line before getting to hungry as you can wait up to 1 hour. Staff are great and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the Turkey club sandwich. If there were any downfall I would say it's their coffee game, should have a barista and a range of coffee for a breakfast restaurant. read more

I love love love restaurants that have a wait list for yelp. My husband and I drove here in the morning and parked just in time to be next in line even though it was jam packed. We ordered the cinnamon bun French toast and eggs Benedict and it was to die for! This was probably our favorite breakfast spot in Nashville.
