We have lived in the area our whole lives and this was our first visit to Broken Egg. For starters, our waitress was the best we have ever had. Her name was Cathy C. and she works there like she owns the place. Her product knowledge was impeccable and her attitude and demeanor were professional and charming. I complied and have received additional messages to try to make things right with me. That, to me, shows that they are vested and do care about their customer's dining experience; and that deserves a star for effort. Best breakfast in Pensacola. The service was wonderful & everyone was so friendly. I don't currently eat meat and they had plenty of wonderful options and were also willing to substitute the meats with other items. My pumpkin waffle with candied pecans was superb. Great start to my day. read more

We had some friends come in from Oklahoma and we took them here for breakfast before their flight left.... kinda in a rush... the line was out the door... was told the wait time was 45 mins... so we decided to wait it out... a guy comes out of the restaurant with a pan full of tasty treats for those waiting.. he was right on time because it had been 40 minutes and we were getting ready to leave... but that held us over.. at least they didn't forget about us... finally got seated and ordered and the food was soso... not the best ive had but it was ok... my wife said I could've made better at home... but that's what you get when eating out you never know... over all it was just ok... never go there if your in a hurry read more

I definitely recommend this wonderful cafe. The food is unique and from scratch. The unique menu is what called our attention. They cater to everyone and have a little bit of everything. This used to be our favorite breakfast spot in pensacola. Have been regulars since opening. It pains us to say our recent experience has sealed the deal to never return to the establishment on gregory. Food has been going downhill over past year but when a roach ran across our table during a family breakfast...well, needless to say, no one in our family will return. When the owner was notified and shown the roach we had to kill on the table he just said "we just sprayed and get this with our deliveries"...we weren't able to finish our meal...no comp no nothing. Very disturbing and sad. We get that florida gets them, but to get them running across our table during our meal is unacceptable. One has gotta to wonder if they are scattering out to the table areas, sure hate to see what the kitchen is like....Adios. read more

My husband & I arrived on a Monday morning so the wait was about 10-15 minutes. As soon as we sat down we were offered fresh beignets which were awesome. I also had a waffle, city grits, and ham. My hubby had their famous French toast with bananas (can't exactly remember the name) but it was tasty!! I had the best customer service and although the hostess forgot to put our breakfast order while we were chowing on beignets she apologized for it! I mean we wouldn't have really known because we were chatting the whole time but I'm all for honesty. And she didn't charge us for the beignets because of this. I will definitely go back if I'm ever in Pensacola again. Best breakfast for sure!! read more

We are long time visitors of this restaurant. Homer the owner is a very professional and courteous business man. Being our favorite place, today's experience made us love this place even more. The way Homer handled a very loud and drunk table of 7 women impressed us!!!!! We couldnt hold a conversation at our table because of how loud these ladies were being. After 4 hours of drinking, Homer came over and professionally & politely asked the ladies to wrap it up. One of them became very angry and cursed loudly before finally leaving. The owner on a busy Sunday morning walking around and having genuine conversations with people and exchanging stories was one amazing to see and two a breath of fresh air. This was my first time eating here and the overall experience was okay. It was nothing amazing. We ordered some biscuit beignets as an appetizer, but they didn't come out until after our food came. They were tasty and covered in powdered sugar. I ordered the waffle with eggs and bacon. The bacon wasn't too greasy and was perfectly crunchy. The waffles were good and light. Our waitress was friendly. Friends had the cinnamon French toast and the eggs Benedict and said they were great. The French toast wasn't too sweet. The restaurant is new and maybe hasn't found its groove yet. I would give the place another try in a few months. read more

Slow getting in but once seated we heard a couple times they were two girls short, so that put them at 50% floor staff. After watching for a few I was amazed they kept up as well as they did, really compared to most places it was normal pace. Add two more girls tot he floor and the service would have been amazing. 9:30 am with the wife and the boy (navy) we decided to all eat the burger. I eat around the country a lot. Burgers are really hard to nail a good basic one. They did. Perfect amount of mayo, mustard tomato etc. Onions were a bit thick so took those off and replaced with a couple onion rings. Buns were soft but not cheap and disintegrating. Perfection was had. Go get you some. read more

Love this place, have visited many times and it is our favorite breakfast/brunch place in our area. Try the huevos rancheros with chorizo added, they are the best! No matter what you order, it will be wonderful! We have never been disappointed by anything we've ordered. Also, they have the best service and even though they are constantly busy, the food comes out quickly. There is an older gentleman walking around speaking with customers and asking how their food/service is. He is one of the owners, and is very sincere in making sure everyone is having a good experience at his restaurant. Another nice touch is that while you wait to be seated, there is free coffee and someone walking around with fresh mini muffins while you wait. They have a small store area, selling their cool coffee cups and t shirts. There is not always a wait for a table but when there is they do have a bar where you can get an adult beverage or sit to eat if you are a couple or individual. If you hate to wait, they are on No Wait and you can sign in up to 30 minutes prior. Don't miss visiting, this place is a rare gem and I seldom give five stars. read more

The food is always good but the real story here is this Met with family and friends to catch up and time got away from us. Before we knew it we had camped out visiting for over three hours. We were never made to feel anything less than welcome. GG was our server and even though we had in fact been there forever she kept our drinks refreshed and ensured we were taken care of. Easily the best breakfast you can get in Pensacola. The wait can be pretty lengthy on the weekends so I would highly recommend checking in online via app or yelp. The staff is amazing and we had fresh muffins brought to up for free while we waited.
