Great place for brunch. The menu was extensive and the drinks were fantastic. I usually don't like chains but this one was quite different. I would recommend the Bloody Mary drink if you are in the mood for brunch drinks. Next time I will try the salted Carmel coffee from the spiked cold drinks. It's a must try. Not super impressed with this chain. It's another cookie cutter brunch restaurant with the chain feel of Applebees or red lobster. I did appreciate how clean the place was and that the staff were cordial. However, they were pretty robotic with no real genuine customer service exhibited. The food was pretty greasy and bland. They weren't slammed with customers when we went in, so I'm not sure why our experience was subpar; especially with the way everyone raves over this location. It seems that they're really popular for their drink selection, but I didn't go there to drink, so maybe that's why my experience was pretty meh. read more

Went here this morning to grab some breakfast with my wife, we had heard good things about the place. Place looks very nice and modern and was busy. All of which is usually the sign of a good experience. Not the case. We were greeted by a wonderful young lady who stated the wait was 5 to 10 mins we said that was fine. She took our number and roughly 8 mins later text came stating that our table was ready. We were seated and within a few mins a young lady came by and introduced herself and took our drink order. She asked if we needed help with the menu to which we stated no we were good. She returned a few mins later with my wife's soda and my coffee. She took our order, burbon pancakes for my wife and biscuit and gravy for myself. So far so good. My wife takes a drink of her soda, states that it's flat but said she will deal with it. I reminded her that when you get soda early there's always that chance. Looking around I notice that the food seemed to be coming out kind of slow. This was a surprise as there was a very adequate amount of staff. Roughly 30 mins later our food comes out, by now we are fairly hungry. I immediately notice that the whipped topping on my wife's pancakes was completely melted and that the gravy on my biscuit was glazed over. Tell tale signs that the food was sitting for a while. While I am seasoning my food my wife states hers is cold, not even warm. I test my eggs- cold, sausage patty- kinda warm but not really, gravy- cold, not even close to warm. I thought wow! 30 mins to get cold food. When the waitress came back by we asked that everything be removed from our bill besides the drinks, I mean we did drink them so we wanted to pay for them. She said no she would have it all taken care of. She was apoplectic about the situation and we stated we understood and it was not her fault. We left her a tip, as did provide us service, and left. Now hungrier than we were an hour before when we arrived. Will not be back. I know everyone is blaming a lot of things on the labor situation right now but there is never an excuse for cold food. With the amount of staff there was there I do not see this being a labor issue. Hopefully they can get it figured out. read more

Always great service, and I have ordered a different meal every time and always stellar.

Came for brunch this week and was told an hour wait by the hostess. No big deal. After about an hour we asked the hostess for an update on our wait. She told us that it should be any minute. A whopping hour later we received the text stating our table was ready. Once seated, we waited a further 20 minutes for a server to greet us. After having waited well over two hours we ordered immediately only to have to wait a further 40 minutes for food. At this point in our three hour ordeal we were able to enjoy our food. The food itself was good with some exceptions. The cinnamon bun French toast we ordered was dry, stale, and barely warm. And of our party of 8, only 3 of us actually had the correct side dishes, prompting another wait for the correct sides to come out. When it finally became time to get our checks, our server managed to lose one of the four credit cards we used to pay after he had already swiped the card. The manager and server stated they would search for the card after resturant close and would call us when they found it. Never did. The idea behind Another Broken Egg Cafe is great. However the execution and management of this branch is just poor. If you want their food, I recommend driving to Orlando to another branch. Otherwise there are numerous options in Port Orange that are better. read more

I was extremely disappointed, the time it took to get food, I would've cooked it myself, hostess said they sent a text message to come in, never got it, had to go back in to check time, also our waitress was not very efficient, food quality was not the greatest either, I've been to the Sanford location and it's definitely a 360° compared to this location. read more

Ok, hands down, new breakfast/brunch favorite. Can't wait to come back and try other things. Yeah, for two, it's likely going to be a $40 breakfast, but I eat at home 4 times, to get to come here once. Husband loved the mardi gras omelet and I had ala carte city grits (minus green onion for me, but best grits of my lifetime), baked bacon, and hashbrown croquettes. Excellent coffee too. Stay Away from this location! They should have called it another ROTTEN EGG! The Potatoes were cold, I asked for regular eggs with my meal and instead got egg whites and worse of all there was Hair found in my wife's food and silverware! The Manager Amanda and server Kylie are also very rude and offensive. They also FRAUDULENTLY charged my card higher than they showed on my check and refused to cancel the charge! This experience was so terrible I have to make it known everywhere I go! This location is known to be a problem and now we see why. read more

My new favorite breakfast place ! It's so refreshing to have Another broken egg in port orange, with unique and delicious menu items, and awesome service. Bracus went above and beyond as our server, and made the whole experience! Explaining the menu, making suggestions, checking back in, learning the guests' names, are all qualities that you rarely see in servers anymore, and Bracus really made our day, can't wait to go back! Our server Bracus was EXCELLENT! My husband and I came with our baby girl. The first thing he did was ask our names and he remembered and used them throughout our whole breakfast. He went above and beyond with Fruit in our water, placemats for our drinks and food, and mints and hand sanitizer after the meal. He also brought out a little ice-cream popsicle for each of us. He was so attentive and energetic. Truly such a joy to be around. I totally forgot to get a picture of the food but I had the Benedict burger and my husband had the Bacquezo omelette. There were both amazing. Long wait on a Sunday (as expected for the busiest day of week for brunch) but so worth it!! read more

Me and my sisters don't get together very often. we decided to pick this place for our lunch! This is my 3rd time coming to this location of The Broken Egg. I get great service every time, but this particular time the service was outstanding! Our server was named Bracus, he went over and beyond what any server would do! He was so Fun and personable. He gave us the best recommendations for good food and drinks! He even offered us gum and great smelling hand sanitizer after the meal. Really above and beyond! WORST DELIVERY AND BREAKFAST EVER! They COMPLETELY screwed up the order. I ordered the butter rum syrup and the gave me chocolate chip instead of plain pancakes and it was DISGUSTING, especially with eggs over easy. They completely spaced a omelette and when we called to get it delivered they asked US to pick it up but if we were up to going there WE WOULD NOT HAVE PAID FOR DELIVERY. My partner unbeatably got upset because the portion of the order we got was cold and WRONG, we didn't even get butter, not that it would have melted on the ice cold French toast and pancakes drown in chocolate chips THAT I DIDN'T ORDER!! An extra star for having a gluten free/vegetarian menu. This opens Another Broken Egg to being a place for groups with various dietary needs like my wheat allergy. I've visited twice, and by far I can say the more enjoyable visit for me was mid week. If you like loud, crowded spaces and small tables, go on Sunday. The acoustics are killer, but the food is pretty good to delightfully creative. Their grits are exceptional, and being able to dive into a stack of gluten-free banana walnut pancakes was heaven. Unfortunately the sausage tasted off to me, and $5 for a side of bacon might make me think of going vegetarian here. Their coffee is good and they have an array of flavored creamers if you prefer that to cream. I suspect there are more gems on the menu that I haven't discovered yet, but I'll be back some mid week time to enjoy another meal...and BTW there is outdoor seating where your polite dog is welcome. We went there around !0 to avoid the breakfast and lunch rush. The service was ok we had to ask the server 3 times for more water but, that's the new normal along with high price. I was just hoping the food would be excellent not expecting 5 star chef just good cooking. I ordered the eggs benedict the muffin wasn't toasted the sauce was very thick with too much lemon and the ham tasted like rubber. Miraculously the eggs were cooked perfect. This morning my family of 7 (3 under 5 years of age) sat in Caleb's section. Our drinks and food came out in a timely manner and proved to be as delicious as the menu made the items seem... if not better than the menu describes. Better than the food and quick service was our waiter Caleb who went over and above standard to make sure our meal was enjoyed. He was polite and friendly with us and our children, understanding of the messes made, and empathetic to the early morning struggles of a larger family. This place has the worst service! We were seated and there were at least 5 servers working and we sat for over 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or asking for a drink order at least. 4 tables that came after us and they were greeted and getting their orders taken quickly. This is absolutely unacceptable. We left! We went over the Flapjacks who only had one table left very busy only 3 servers and we had drink in less then a minute and the server was awesome! Last Sunday was our first visit everything was amazing! Food was delicious and drinks were great! We decided to take friends from out of town today and well Service was good but food was not great! I would have assumed Fathers Day being so busy would have been the off day but just the opposite today was slower no wait for a party of 6 which Fathers Day there was an hour wait for 2!
