I have been a follower on Antidote's social media for over a year. I have been a silent supporter as I could never seem to catch their food truck. When they lost the truck in a car accident I was not only heartbroken for them but feared I would not get to try their amazing food. I am so glad everyone is okay and they were able to open up a restaurant! The food is just as amazing as it looks and I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner! The salmon bombs were to die for. Holy smokes they are like little pockets of heaven! They are the perfect texture combination and are saucy, crunchy and soft all in one. 1000/10 recommend. The garlic chicken plate was also amazing. Taste of the Island from the 9th Island. Found in a strip mall a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Away of the strip but when you find it, you won't be disappointed. Truly a neighbourhood spot. I've always been trying Antidotes food since I moved here to Vegas and when they had their food truck. They catered my daughter's birthday party as well and party trays are deep and filled. Since they opened their restaurant right behind Southern Hills Hospital, so glad they brought back their fried noodles. I tried pretty much everything in their menu except their garlic shrimp, bacon fried rice, and loco moco items. One day I will try everything. Food is always bomb. I love their garlic chicken and fried noodles the best and those items are my go to for myself and family. Since they just opened and it's been my second time coming here they got a few tables to dine in and a pretty spacious area for a chill spot or wait for your order. Antidote is a food truck that is an Asian/hawaiian flair. They change locations every day and you can stay up to date on where they will be on their socials. There was no line when we pulled up so that was nice! We were helped once we looked at the menu and picked our items. They have a limited menu which is expected as they are a food truck. So certain things aren't available every week. We opted for the chicken plate and the loco moco plate. They also have Hawaiian suns you can get! The plate portions were pretty large. I will say compared to other places in town they are a little pricey but I don't mind supporting local businesses!! The chicken plate has great seasoning on the sauce, but the actual chicken did not have much flavor. I love that they put furikake on their plates, and the rice was cooked perfectly. I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, I finally did and it is worth the hype!! I ordered their surf and turf with garlic shrimp and ribeye steak. It was so tasty and delicious! The garlic shrimp was immersed in like a garlic like paste, it's probably the best garlic shrimp I've tasted. The quality of the steak was amazing, so glad that they didn't use a cheap alternative like other places. I also ordered their garlic chicken for my husband, he was just as impressed and he's picky! You never realize how much you want a brick and mortar for a place until you run around the city hoping one day you'll get to eat at this food truck! So excited that Antidote is right there next to Southern Hills Hospital. We went on a rainy Friday during the winter break at a little after 12. They opened at noon and there were already people seated inside despite the gloom of the day. It is pretty bare bones aside from some tables and chairs, two sofas and a cinderblock "coffee table", and a TV with a "fireplace" that seemingly made it feel warmer. They were a little overwhelmed when I had entered so I waited a bit before I ordered. People started trickling in behind me so I was grateful for my timing. Finally I ordered and settled on the small salmon bombs, fried noodles, and garlic shrimp plate. I sat down for maybe 5 minutes when they called my name! It was surprisingly quick! Drove home to eat my grub (and take pics of course). Now anyone who has read my reviews knows I shy away from spicy because well, I'm a wimp. But, a while back I had asked them how spicy it would be and they said it wasn't bad. When I took a bite, it had a slight heat but the good kind, the kind that you can't stop eating! The bean curd of the inari was so sweet and it balanced with the kick of the spicy salmon and then topped with the onions and sauce...I was sad I only bought the small. Seriously was craving them as soon as they were finished. The fried noodles were a good combo and packed with flavor. More than just a plate of bare bones ramen. Always love a good fish cake as it brings in color and texture. The garlic shrimp was finger licking good! It was a little bit messy peeling off the shell but it was so tasty! The Mac salad had a nice texture, and kind of a fusion of potato salad vibe. The rice was bouncy and sticky and covered with furikake. Was excited to try this place but was pretty underwhelmed. I got the garlic chicken plate and was expecting to get rice and mac salad but I got noodles instead. I wasn't asked for an option to choose when I called over the phone. Can barely taste garlic in the chicken and the noodles tasted like I was eating from Panda Express. I miss those days but I'm happy for Chef Thomas and his crew for opening up a brick & mortar spot. It's a little far from us but we will drive out to come thru for the grindz The area where this is at is developing just a street away from IKEA and the new Durango Casino so get some food before it gets busy! We got the ribeye plate, garlic shrimp plate and small salmon bombs. The ribeye was cooked medium. It tasted great! Just a little chewy in some spots or maybe the slices were just a little too big. The garlic shrimp was really good. I forgot to ask for extra spicy garlic butter. If u get some, pour it on your rice! And then finally the bombs are staple to the menu. Can't beat them. We were greeted when we walked in! I love it when the menu is small enough where I can make a decision. The garlic fried chicken I was expecting it to be dipped in a garlic sauce. The mini was a good size for $13. The sauce was drizzled so it tasted like fried chicken but it was still good. I'm going to try the garlic shrimp next! The salmon poke bowl was bomb! Garlic Chicken was tasty and not over powering with garlic so the sauce blends in with the overall chicken bites. Started as a food truck, now with a brick and mortar location in the southwest near Southern Hills hospital. The food is on the pricy side compared to other Hawaiian spots, but definitely delicious. The fried noodles with garlic chicken was great. Topped with plenty of tender chunks of chicken lightly fried and covered with a delicious sesame soy sauce, green onions, and crispy onions. The loco moco plate is perfect comfort food -- satisfying, heavy, and filling with its two scoops of rice, two hearty, well seasoned beef patties with a nice, crisp charred exterior. All of that smothered in gravy. Sadly, they didn't top it with an egg, but it was still great. Pie slices sold at Antidote are made from local small business "Pop N Pies", sold for $8 each. Selection changes often. Of the ones I've tried, the chocolate peanut butter was outstanding. I'm typically not a big fan of peanut butter desserts, but this slice is different. It's got an Oreo crust, a smooth, creamy peanut butter filling and a layer of chocolate ganache on top. One of the best slices of pie I've had in a while. The chocolate haupia was also great, with a rich chocolate mouse filling and a layer of coconut custard, whipped cream, and coconut shavings on top. read more

The garlic shrimp is crispy enough to eat with the shell on, the sauce on the garlic chicken is on the sweet side but it's so good. And the salmon bombs were my favorite. The creamy spicy mayo sauce is good on its own but I did add a little soy sauce. The guys that were behind the counter were very welcoming. Went there for the first time today, saw some review reels online and the food looked amazing. The vibe inside is chill, but the food was not good. We got 1 friend noodle garlic chicken plate, 1 loco moco plate and the spicy salmon bombs. The spicy salmon bombs didn't have a kick and were okay. The fried noodle plate was bland, it seems like they toss the chicken after the deep fry it but there definitely was not enough sauce if that's the case. The noodles were overcooked and rubbery, just not enjoyable. We tossed about 3/4 of it. The loco moco was different with the white gravy, but there was a lot of onions in it but I still think brown gravy is better on a loco moco plate. The mac salad was okay and the burger patty was overcooked. Nothing special. All in, it was about $50 for 2 of us for a sub par meal with little flavor. Before this night, I had heard of Antidote from a friend but had never tried it. While at the Chinese New Year Festival in Chinatown Plaza, I happened to be so lucky to be in the same parking lot as this food truck, so I had to try! Before ordering, what I understood was that the owner was a winner of a cooking competition show, I think it was Chopped, and he was a winner of a competition held at the local Foodie Fest. After eating, it's no surprise why. This Hawaiian menu has a bunch of stuff: Ribeye, Chicken, noodle plates, and Loco Loco Fries. There's also their most popular item, Salmon Bombs. I ordered these and their Poke Nachos. Salmon Bombs were exactly that, salmon stuffed inside inari tofu bite sized pockets that exploded in flavor. If you'd prefer a different route to take in your poke, the crispy fresh wonton chips of the nachos are a great second choice. After this meal, I told myself I will be trying the rest of the meal, but it is a definite must to accompany it with some salmon bombs. read more

Historically attempted to visit one of their food trucks a few times in the past, but there were always long lines or they were sold out. When news of a brick and mortar establishment was announced on Instagram, I was ecstatic! I was finally on their side of town and decided to hop on over right at noon. LOCATION/AMBIANCE: Great location right off Sunset and 215 by IKEA and Southern Hills Hospital, easy to find and with ample parking. Interior is a very clean and modern aesthetic, plenty of tables, with a comfy couch and TV. I liked their neon sign and the LEDs around their menu screen. SERVICE: I was immediately greeted with a "welcome" and a warm smile by the gentleman behind the counter, and he additionally asked for my name for the order, which gave my experience a much more personal touch, rather than being a number. No issues with service whatsoever. I placed my order and it was out and ready within 5-7 minutes. FOOD: This being my first ever visit, I opted for some of their most popular items: Spicy Salmon Bombs and Fried Noodles with Garlic Chicken. I loved it all. The Spicy Salmon Bombs was a great "flavor bomb" (pardon the pun). I normally don't like spicy foods, but the sweet soy reduction balanced/tempered it out nicely. The crispy onions were a great touch to this dish, as the crisp balanced out the otherwise softer and chewier textures. It kept each bite interesting and engaging. I really enjoyed the Fried Noodles - great chew and mouthfeel, soft flavor that provided a great backdrop to the Garlic Chicken I added to the dish. The chicken was well cooked, fantastically crispy, but still tender and moist. Among my group that tried it, we had people that thought it was too much sauce on top of the chicken, some that thought it was not enough sauce on the chicken, and some that said it was just right. I felt it was balanced, personally. I ordered too much just for myself; I was positively STUFFED after 2 Spice Salmon Bombs and not even 1/4th of the Fried Noodles with Garlic Chicken! OVERALL: I enjoyed my meal, the environment, and the service. I am beyond eager to return and try out more things on the menu! First time tried this amazing food truck was at foodie fest. Tried their salmon bomb and bento box, they were delicious!!!!! We know we have to go back the next day to get more. When I found out they are in Inspirada on Wednesdays and I was around the area that day I know I have to get my craving fixed. If you like poke, then you will like salmon bomb. Basically they are stuff inari (sweet tofu skin) with rice topped with salmon with their signature sauce and fried garlic and green onion. Their bento boxes are huge portion where its great to share or have left over the next day. I tried their crispy chicken and garlic shrimp and they were amazing. Bento box comes with rice and mac salad. service are great and friendly. they are fast and efficient. I heard they get super packed, but I got lucky that the time I went there were no lines.
