Aracri has quickly become our favorite spot for pizza! My husband and I really enjoy brick-oven or NY style pizza, but not exactly flatbread/cracker pizza (if that makes sense?) and Aracri is just perfect. Their dough is light and somewhat fluffy while maintaining a traditional New York style. We've ordered from both locations and each experience has been great - the staff is always super kind and helpful and the pizza is always on time. We also love that they sell by the slice. We enjoyed our happy hour experience at Aracri! They had some great deals on food and beer. The meatballs and garlic knots came with plenty of melted cheese and sauce to dip the knots in. The meatballs themselves were tasty and a good firmness. We followed up with a large pepperoni and it was great! The bottom crust was crispy and it was covered with a nice layer of cheese and pepperoni. I'd highly recommend! read more

This place has really tasty pies and garlic cheese bread. They're sauce is just the right amount of spicy, the crust is thin and perfectly doughy, and their pepperoni is *chef's kiss! Easy order and tracking through the Slice app, and it's pretty easily accessible, though parking is a bit tricky. My ONLY criticism is the offering of curb side pick up when there's nowhere to park, but that may be something within the ordering through Slice, so I'm not faulting them for this. Went on a Thursday had really nice girl very attentive food. Chicken parm was ok a little dry and garlic knots a bit over cooked. Tried next day and watched 3 couples sit down at bar and then leave cause didn't get served. I was one of first people and it took 50 minutes for my food not sure if waitress forgot about it as it was sitting on top of oven. They need to hire more waiting staff as she was overwhelmed not her fault just no help. Tried pizza and a sandwich and they were good but the experience on second day was not so maybe it is a hit or miss thing. read more

Stopped by for a bite on a Saturday night after CSO show at the Ohio. Yelp said it was open until 3a.m., so we thought we had tons of time. It wasn't exactly obvious where you go for a menu or how to order. By the time we tracked those things down, the gentleman taking our order said they close at 10 p.m., which was in 15 minutes. OK, we'll take it to go. We ordered a 10" pizza and meatballs with garlic knots. They fixed it all for us and we were out the door by 10. The pizza we chose was topped with small grind bulk sausage (just the way I like it), delicious pepperoni, and some weird large cut caramelized onions that we probably would not add again. The dough had a nice chew to it. It wasn't NY thin or Chicago thick and definitely not Columbus cracker style. It was a really nicely balanced medium-thick crust. The sauce was plentiful and garlicky, but with a nice sweetness. The pizza definitely would have been spectacular right out of the pizza oven vs a trip across town to home for consumption. Husband loved the meatballs. He really appreciated that they were quite saucy. The star of the evening was the garlic knots that came with meatballs. They were a great pillows of perfectly baked dough, then brushed with perfectly balanced combo of butter and garlic. ONG! We will have to make a return visit when we can stuff our faces with everything just as it comes out of the oven. Good stuff. read more

We saw a recommendation to try Aracri on Columbus Pizza Connoisseurs and it did not disappoint! It is a small shop that was completely dead at 8pm on a Saturday, which made us concerned because it is so good and we hope they stay open for a long time! The garlic knots were so doughy and fresh and the garlic butter is so good! Next time we will order extra garlic butter on the side because we didn't realize you could do that until we were paying to leave. The pizza was so good! We ordered a 16" pepperoni and it was crispy on the bottom while the crust was still doughy on the inside. They have subs and pasta dishes as well and something I definitely want to try the next time we visit! Only down side is they serve RC cola and it was not good- it had a weird minty taste to it and not like the RC I remember having growing up. Our server did a great job and was extremely kind. A small mom and pop pizza place is usually the best pizza. This place is no different. The dishes are made fresh. The kitchen is right out in the open, not hidden behind a wall so it feels more homey! I had the sausage lasagna and we ordered every appetizer they had. (Ive also had their pizza before) Soooo good! We had 9 people on a Friday evening - without a reservation - and they found a way to accommodate us. The food was delicious (and we're pizza snobs from New Jersey).
