Stopped in on my way through St George based on other Yelp reviews. What a winner. Amazing menu, attentive, knowledgeable service that knows the menu and not afraid to make recommendations. AND they set up a table just for me out on their patio as I had a K9 with me. Wow. The food kept building in excellence from start to finish. HIGHLY recommend everything I had (in pictures below), but lots of other yummy things on menu. I'll be back! Easy parking, everyone on staff was really friendly and contributed to the experience. $$$ per person with wine and dessert, but so worth it in my opinion

Had a weekend getaway, wanted to try something different. This place is amazing, atmosphere was inviting and elegant, food was AMAZING and our waiter Ruben was the cherry on top(Great personality). The chef even came to our table to see how the food was. I would highly recommend. Food & Service were GREAT !!!!

This place came highly recommended. It was pretty quiet when we arrive at 6:00. There was a party starting in their private dining room. I took a peek - it was a lovely room. I'd love to host a dinner party there. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Even the chef came out to check on us, and every table while we were there. Every dish was flawless in presentation and taste. Perfectly cooked scallops and medium rare beef fillet. Delicious lobster bisque and burrata starter. The lemon sorbet palate cleanser was a lovely touch. I really appreciate little extras like that. Do order dessert. They have a wonderful sticky toffee cake. There is live music (electric piano. If you have a hard time hearing, ask to be seated further away. This is an upscale place, so dress accordingly. Shorts and tees are definitely out of place here. This would be a great option for birthdays and anniversaries.

Aragosta is a beautiful restaurant in St George, Utah. I heard about this place a while ago from someone who knows the owner/chef who happens to be Hungarian. I wanted to go there long ago and bookmarked it in Yelp to make sure I don't miss it again when I am in St George. Went there on Saturday. Luckily I got a table quickly. Unfortunately the item I wanted to order was not available, although on their website it says that Duck Liver is the specialty of the restaurant. Due to being by myself, I really didn't want to spend long time in the restaurant. I have decided to order dessert and maybe return another time to enjoy dinner with my friends. I ordered Sacher Cake, and I was very excited about it. Sadly it wasn't a Sacher Cake what I expected. Not much relation to the original Sacher Cake from Austria! And for $17/slice! Anyway, next time I will listen to the waiter's recommendation! Maybe luck will be on my side! Service was great! Everyone was amazing!

My Chilean Sea Bass with his special Risotto is one of my favorites! Thank you Chef Imre!!! We love you and your restaurant!

Another fabulous Birthday celebration at Aragosta! Chef Imre always treats us so well. The food as always was amazing. He never disappoints. We look forward to another visit soon!!!

We are on a tour of the national parks. One of our tour mates found this fabulous restaurant. Its not inexpensive. The service was impeccable. The dinners were just delicious. I had the risotto and prawns. Oh my word... was that a tasty plate. My husband had lobster ravioli and said it was also delicious. We were a party of six all very happy with the restaurant. What a beautiful place. Too bad we all live in Florida. But if we were to come back here for a visit we would most definitely eat here again.

A friend posted some photos of food from when he stopped here and I bookmarked it knowing I'd be in St. George later in the year. It was an easy drive across town from where I was staying on Bluff Street. I made a reservation for 5 PM. My Apple calendar listed it for 4 PM (the hour's difference between Utah and Nevada?) I left a bit early and got there about 4:40 and I was the first person in the restaurant. The server/hostess was Paisley and she proved to be a wonderful server. She brought a menu with her when seating me and she told me some specials for the night. I then had an opportunity to look over the menu. I ordered red pepper gouda soup for a starter and the colossal sea scallops served on linguini with a choice of sauce (I chose Alfredo). For dessert, I ordered the Italian lemon cream cake. Paisley brought my iced tea quickly. In a short time, the soup was bvrought. It was rich in flavor and something different than French onion or lobster bisque. A good choice especially in this season. After the soup, there was a small intermezzo/palate cleanser sorbet. Then came the scallops--four very large, perfectly cooked gems on a bed of linguini Alfredo. I took my time eating this meal. Everything was very good. I only wish I had a spoon to wind the linguini but I was able to do OK with my fork. For dessert, the Italian lemon cream cake was light and a good ending. I thought it was a bit low on lemon flavor. I love and I would have liked it to be more pronounced. The restaurant is a good sized place and very elegant. The restaurant wasn't busy on this Monday night but I was there for more than an hour. One server for the four tables especially when wine is being uncorked and served took Paisley some time. It didn't matter. I had plenty of time to get back to the hotel and clean up a bit before going to Tuacahn. Chef Imi Kun stopped by during my dinner to check and see how everything was. I'd recommend Aragosta to anyone and would return when in St. George.

So this is the filet mignon and god was it delicious. What didn't get a picture of was all the appetizers we ordered when all.

Hidden gem for sure. Absolute delicious food, we even got to meet the chef such an incredible character. The service was incredible , super kind even helped us understand the menu as well as pairings. The ambience was incredible looks great from the outside but you step in its jaw dropping.

I wanted to like Aragosta more after hearing raving reviews of Chef Imi's food from family. Unfortunately, I think the staffing issues have detracted from a potentially great experience. We made a reservation on a Wednesday night and were seated immediately, despite the restaurant being surprisingly busy. While the interior decor is a bit like a like Victorian castle meets Norwegian cruise ship, the social distancing here is superb. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine to start, and unfortunately the Krug Cabernet Sauvignon I ordered was not available, so I opted for the Petit Syrah. While it was a bit annoying that my wine choice was not available, it was downright frustrating that it took our server almost 25 minutes to serve our beverages. In fact, I received my appetizer, the tomato and burrata salad before I received my wine! Despite the service issues, our food was actually very good. The burrata was very creamy and tomatoes fresh. I ordered the salmon for my entree, which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Every bite was incredibly tender and flavorful. Overall we had an OK dinner at Aragosta. Our server apologized for the delay in receiving our beverages and said it was "on her and would be removed from our bill," but when we received our bill we were still charged for the wine. We just paid for it anyway because it was taking so long for everything due to their staffing issues. Would I go back? Maybe. It's one of the better, more upscale restaurants in St. George, but the prices are high and I felt like we should have received much better service for such high prices.

Dog friendly patio! We were visiting from Minnesota and picked this restaurant because we were shocked to find a fancier restaurant that had a dog friendly patio. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant has an old world European vibe. After being seated, the owner came out and share information with us about the food. We had 3 guests that cannot eat gluten and 1 that cannot eat dairy and they were very accommodating. Our server Rhett was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided us with excellent service. They all were so kind to our golden retriever as well-- treated him like part of the family. My favorite thing I ate was the filet mignon. The meat was perfectly cooked and had an incredible flavor from the bernaise. Highly recommend!

Chef Imi himself told us we could bring our own wine. The corkage fee was a normal charge. It may have been $20, but I think more like $10. The fee did not shock me.

My guy's steak was not as he wanted....he wanted it cooked medium, he got almost rare....it had to get sent back...then a drink I ordered, a painkiller, tasted watery...and the Diet Coke my guy wanted had a strange taste. Unbeknownst to the restaurant, they had a celebrity in their midst.....Olympic athlete, gold medal winner....not naming him unless asked.... I tipped Domonic $20 because customer service is hard and times are hard.... The ladies at the desk were nice and personable.... Would I come back here, not really..

From the moment we arrived, every dish was exceptional. The salad was fresh and beautifully prepared, the pork belly was absolutely outstanding, and the steak was cooked to perfection with the most incredible seasoning. Every bite was memorable. The biscuit was unreal--warm, comforting, and honestly one of the best I've ever had. What touched me most was the homemade ice cream. One spoonful instantly brought me back to childhood memories of my dad making homemade ice cream for us when we were kids. It was such a special and unexpected gift to relive those moments. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Parthee. She was absolutely amazing. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She didn't just provide excellent service--she made our night. Our family has been through a lot, including the heartbreaking loss of my sister. Father's Day hasn't always been easy for my sweet dad since then. This evening gave us something precious: a new happy memory together. Parthee, thank you for your compassion and for helping create a beautiful moment for our family during a difficult season of life. We are so grateful, and we will never forget it.

We had a 730 res, showed up 10 mins early because parking was easy and told to wait eventhough we saw 6 open tables. Once seated they had a large very drunk unruly group of guys center room screaming and carrying on. Not a giant deal until I saw they same guys being rude to other patrons and literally grabbing our server. We couldn't hear the menu explanations due to the volume of that table. Drinks. The wine was fine for my wife. I am a whiskey and scotch guy Ordered a macallan 12 - didnt have it Ordered a EH taylor -didn't have it. Ordered a Bookers Bourbon- had it however the world's largest ice block (literally sticking out of the glass) which diluted the 1 Oz $30 pour. Bartenders inexperience truly showed here. The food. For the love of God, discover salt. We ordered 4 things. Elote Scallops Crab Mac Ny strip (medium rare) Best dish by far was the elote. The scallops still tasted like the sea and were extremely gritty. The steak...... medium and on the way to well. Not seasoned. The sauces were a horseradish and a chimichuri. Neither of which saved that steak. We literally sent the crab Mac back to the kitchen. Inedible. Tasted like tuna mac that had been left in the oven too long. Our server took care of all of our concerns and saved the evening, even gave us a few sea salt chocolatechip cookies (the cookies get salt but the $60 steak doesnt?) ......until the food poisoning kicked in. So thanks for the cheap wesightloss I guess? Gave it a try, and we would never recommend it to anyone we respect or call friend

Unfortunately, what should have been a special experience turned into a very disappointing one. We let our server know that it was my birthday, and I expected the usual birthday acknowledgment that Texas Roadhouse is known for. Not once did our server come over to wish me a Happy Birthday or make any effort to acknowledge the occasion. Instead, the entire experience felt rushed, as though we were being pushed out because they were trying to close. Our server introduced himself as Justin, although his name tag displayed "Iceman." His attitude throughout the experience was extremely nonchalant and unprofessional. After we placed our order, he came back and said, "Bad news," and told us they were out of the steaks we had ordered. Two of the five steaks we ordered were unavailable. This should have been communicated before taking our order, rather than after we had already placed it. He also told us that we probably shouldn't order the Porterhouse because it comes frozen. Again, this was frustrating because we were there to enjoy a special birthday dinner with our family and expected better communication and service. The food itself was good, but the service was subpar and completely took away from what should have been a memorable birthday celebration. I manage a restaurant myself in the state where I live, so I understand the challenges that come with the restaurant business. I also regularly visit Texas Roadhouse in my home state, and my family and I have always received friendly service and had great experiences. This location was completely different. I have heard people describe Texas Roadhouse as a racist establishment, and unfortunately, today I felt like I experienced that firsthand. The way we were treated left me feeling unwelcome and extremely disappointed. I understand that restaurants have closing times(they close at 10 PM and we got there at 7 PM, seated by 7:26 PM$, but rushing a family out,, especially when they are celebrating someone's actual birthday.,.is not acceptable. There was no warmth, no acknowledgment of my birthday, and very little effort to make us feel valued as customers. After this experience, I will never eat at Texas Roadhouse again. this entire place screams racist I didn't wanna believe everything I seen online but I got to experience it firsthand and I will agree with everything that they say online. we still tipped him 20% because like I said, I manage a restaurant and I know about the business, but he definitely did not deserve it.

The hostess provided us with silverware, and everything initially seemed fine. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the service became very disappointing. We spent some time looking over the menus, and during that time, we noticed two additional tables being seated after us. Those tables were later approached and offered drinks, while no one had acknowledged our table. After waiting about 20 minutes, I finally got up and asked if someone could take our drink order or if we were going to be served. The hostess was present when I asked. I returned to our table, but shortly afterward, another table was seated and their drinks were being taken while we were still waiting. At that point, we decided to leave due to the lack of service. The hostess did come outside and apologize as we were leaving, and I appreciate that gesture, but unfortunately, it came too late to change our experience. I believe the waitstaff may need additional training on recognizing and prioritizing tables that have been waiting, especially when children are involved. When I worked in customer service, if a guest had to get up and ask to be served, I would have immediately apologized, gone to the table, and at minimum taken their drink order and the children's food order. Honestly, I would have been completely understanding if our food had taken another 20-30 minutes after placing the order. What was frustrating was that we couldn't even get acknowledged or place an order. In all my years of dining out, I am usually very generous with tips when the service is attentive and the staff understands the importance of taking care of families, especially when children are involved. Unfortunately, in this situation, we never had the opportunity to experience the food or service because nothing was ever ordered or served. No pictures to share because, unfortunately, nothing was provided to us.

We brought two friends with us and ended up feeling bad and apologizing to them for such a terrible experience. Let me first say that this location was gorgeous! It's very spacious and the parking was easy even though the street was under construction. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Our waiter did a very bad job, maybe he was new but he should've had some guidance if that were the case. He dropped cheese on my lap, later dropped a dirty fork on my lap, passed food through other guests even though there was plenty of space to walk around the table. He also used one guests fork to shove into the cheese shredder to remove stuck cheese. Just weird, uncomfortable, unprofessional behavior. We hoped that the food would make up for the terrible service but sadly it didn't. We ordered the veal parmigiana and the rigatoni carbonara. The bread that was brought to the table first was mediocre, we had a caprese salad which was yummy, unfortunately that was the only win. The veal was tough and the rigatoni was just not impressive, we didn't even eat half of either dish. They were also out of the wine we ordered, maybe understandable but in combo with all the other misses it was just another disappointment. I really hope this place can get some guidance from the Cedar City location because we have been loyal fans for several years and we would love to see it succeed but there is work to be done to get it there.

I had the sirloin steak with a baked potato and house salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, potato was delicious and I ordered the blue cheese dressing on the side and it was excellent. Too many times have I ordered blue cheese dressing and it is really just ranch! Their dressing actually had chunks of blue cheese in it. My husband got the filet with a fully loaded baked potato and Caesar salad. He loved his whole meal and wanted me to mention how good the croutons were. 99% of the time he picks them off. Our waitress was Melissa and she was friendly and attentive.

The service was great and we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered a variety of items and our waiters were very friendly and attentive. Your typical steakhouse type of environment - it was busy but roomy all around. Everyone enjoyed their food but I have to say, from what I personally tried, the appetizer of the spinach dip: SO GOOD! & the Ribeye Steak (I like mine rare): DELICIOUS! Excited to visit again in the future or even another LongHorn Steakhouse.

The reservation was written down for 730pm. The host team did the best they could and had us seated in 15 minutes. Good recovery. Our server, Bailey, was kind and friendly. She was quick on drinks, soups, and salads. We waited quite a while for the Hibachi chef to arrive. A solid 30 minutes. He was great and made it fun. The chef, Bailey, and others apologized many times for the slow service. We were still having a nice time until the bill came. We looked at each other (the 5 of us) and said, "No dessert? Nothing was offered. No menu provided. Big miss! So we just paid the bill, tipped well, and left. There was a $45 discount on the bill that wasn't mentioned so I suspect this was the slow service or was it for not offering dessert? The hosts were friendly on the way out as well. This was definitely a 3-star experience on this trip, but we have had 5-star experiences in the past. This is the reason for the 4-star rating. If you're having a 5-star experience, the price is right, but it's a little pricey when it's a 3-star experience. Really great people at Sakura. A very clean and beautiful restaurant.
