Amazing breakfast restaurant serving diner style food but also Thai classics. I love this mix! The food here is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. I love how they bring out a jar of homemade salsa to each table, which goes perfect with their egg dishes. Yum. Can't wait to come back.

Armon's is open for dinner! I enjoyed the very flavorful yellow curry with just enough spice for me. Dinner continued the friendly but efficient service they are famous for.

    Cool place.

Wowza! Cool place clean, old, neat. Quick service came to booth fast. Got the veg tostada made small adjustments with no extra BS fees. How nice. They do not skimp on the avocado- see pic. Also did a side of potatoes & tofu. Tasty and just perfect. Thanks for the vegan options on this beautiful menu!

My favorite diner in all of Los Angeles, maybe best in CA. I love it here- the vibe, the friendly service, great breakfasts & lunches. Love that they have a Thai menu too and even loco moco. This place reminds me of east coast diners I sometimes miss. Easy to park near and lots of cute shops to visit after. Best pens for signing the check too!

Been coming here for years! Did a review years ago but it somehow disappeared. Anyways, the food here is always good and made freshly all the time!! Very good food with many options to choose from. Today I ordered the protein omelette with home fries for my side. It was very delicious too. The service is always good and the ladies are very welcoming! We known them for many years and they are always pleasant and very accommodating. The ambiance is like an older mom and pop diner. This restaurant is good sense it has many different types of food options to select. I will recommend all breakfast items and their sandwiches and Chinese options are superb as well. You can park on the street or in the back. -Marshay D.

Tried their LOCO MOCO (new item), and happy I did. It was delicious, added their house salsa on it too! 9 out of 10 for me!

Open for breakfast and lunch; reopens for dinner 5pm-9pm. Plenty of curbside or rear lot metered parking..Everything about this cozy and friendly neighborhood coffee shop is spot on! Weekend breakfast can be busy with local families, it you can always find a seat within a few minutes wait. Outside patio seating available too. The various offerings of hot and cold dishes also include Thai-oriented plates. I like the 'Dr's Special of sauteed chicken, green pepper, chili. and light gravy over rice. The hamburgers are awesome. It's very affordable and filling. The food is delicious, balanced, and served in a timely manner. You can opt for Booth or counter seating; all are well kept, sanitary, and well padded. Overall, it's been a great place for me the last 12 years I lived here. The best in town!

Cute little diner with a Thai twist! Food portions were good and the service was quick. This place is one of the oldest in the area and it's really nice to dine in here because it's not too crowded.

    Hamburger Steak and Eggs

Easily one of the best diners in Eagle Rock. That is saying something because there are over five well-known ones that I can think of and I'm sure there are a few more that I can't. Every time I stop in it's always very busy, but the wait is never that long. We were able to be seated immediately when we arrived for our 10 AM Sunday brunch. They have a lot of seating indoors as well as out, but I always prefer to sit inside to really soak up the diner atmosphere. This is an Asian-influenced diner that has a lot of Asian flavors on the menu as well as a mostly Asian staff. They don't have a dedicated parking lot, but parking is very easy to find in this part of town. Our server was very polite and everything we ordered came out extremely fast. I wanted to mix up my usual order so for my last visit so I chose the Hamburger Steak and Eggs. It's basically a large hamburger patty but cooked just like a steak and honestly, it was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the side of hashbrowns was as good as I hoped. The portion sizes are large and the prices are fair so it really is a great breakfast or lunch option. I would recommend to any diner fan or anyone searching for a great breakfast option in Eagle Rock.

Was hesitant to come by on Sunday morning around 10a after a Hollywood Reservoir run because our group of 8 didn't want to wait. Showed up anyways and so glad we did. Only waited about 10 mins before we were offered two booths that seat 4. I ordered a drip coffee ($4.25) and lox bagel ($17). The drip coffee was decent, not my favorite but got the job done and they were good about refills. The lox bagel was light, easy on the cream cheese, and had the toppings that make a lox just right. Our server was extremely attentive even through the busyness. My only qualm was the 20% large party charge on our bill despite us splitting our group, sitting on different tables, and getting two separate checks. There's also a 4% additional tax "Kitchen Appreciation" which caught us off guard. Gotta love LA. Loved the diner minus the uncalled for additional charges.

You can go to a run down old diner in any city, but this is the city of the stars. On this trip even though we were already heading to the establishment it must have been an extra slow day because someone was out on the boulevard trying to direct traffic to the restaurant. About 1/3 of the tables were full when we walked in, and it took a few minutes for us to be seen and seated. The wait staff is perhaps a bit understaffed to really be at their best. Our server did not explain much to us as far as the jukebox at our table, if we could use it and how... it would have been nice to know that. I ordered a Caesar salad and a coffee milkshake. When the server asked me if I wanted a small or large salad I asked what the difference in size was, since it wasn't explained on the menu to which they just kind of shrugged at me. Regardless of the perhaps lackluster service I really loved my food, the true, lived in vintage aesthetic and overall experience. Is 10.25 perhaps a bit expensive for a milkshake, i'd say so....but considering the overpriced reality of any trip to Hollywood I think it's something I would not regret spending my money on. Even though I can see why someone would rate this spot a 3, I simply cannot let my own rating fall below a 5 because I know the next time I'm in town it will be looming in my mind as the ideal place to feed my belly and nostalgic heart.

The chicken and waffles was a piece of art and is probably one of the better versions we've had in Los Angeles.
