I wanted to try a head spa for a very long time so me and my fiancé decided to go. Upon arrival the room was very dark but with good ambient lighting because head spas are supposed to give relaxing vibes. The interior was cute and the session itself was so relaxing I even fell asleep. They give you warming pads so that during you don't get cold, which i love because that was a concern for me. They even took videos during the treatment and send it directly to you in case you want to post it on your socials which i thought was cool! I took off one star... I would take off 3 and I'll explain why! (for my hair after only ) my very first time doing a head spa. Experience wise it was AMAZING. My hair not so amazing lol. Five stars for the service: Scalp massage, Facial, facial massage, hot stone massage, warm booties on the feet, warm pack on the tummy. Place is cute, clean and relaxing Smells good inside, product they use have a pleasant smell. Bathrooms are clean It looks sketchy on the outside bu it inside is cute and tranquil and the aromas are nice They have a changing room that had a massage table but it's only the changing room. This was my FIRST time experiencing this the experience itself was wonderful on the table. Now the bad! I would of only given one or two stars 1. Came in the lady who does the camera thing on your head, I swear she turned it on put it on the top FRONT part of my head for not even 2 seconds and said it looks a little oily. That's IT! In the videos I watched they run it through your scalp showing you not just place it on one spot and that's it. Disappointed with that part 2. I was told to go into a room with a massage table and put my stuff in a basket pull my bras straps down and put the gown on. Did not know we would be going into another room (I understand they have a communication barrier) my lady was sweet but should communicate leaving the room . 3. At the end they blow dry your hair but my hair looked so dry and gross after I went back to my hotel and washed and condition my hair. If you blow dry someone's hair at least put some kind of heat protection. I saw they had stuff on the table but my hair just looked gross (will post pictures) The lady I had her name was Daisy she was very sweet and attentive. She made sure to ask during my session if I was okay. She took a video for me and air dropped my video to me which was sweet of her to do She did the hair camera thing for the after and she actually went over my scalp longer not like the First Lady just placing it on then taking it off. She communicated with me if the blow dryer was too hot to let her know. She's good at checking in with you. I would definitely come back to see her for the experience but don't like how my hair looked after I saw picture of others hair and I'm just like what the heck my hair looked nothing like that??? For me, it was about $108 for a standard 1hr? 1hr 30? (lost track of time) head spa experience with no extras. I love that they even evaluate your scalp before and after. I will say there's a part where you feel like you're getting a little waterboarded, but overall it as great. I frequent other hair spas in the Rowland Heights and Diamond Bar area, but decided to give this one a try after seeing all the rave reviews. Honestly, I regret it. The interior looks nothing like the pictures on Yelp -- those photos are way more polished than the reality. During the scalp analysis, they immediately claimed I had buildup and pushed a $25 scalp exfoliation, exactly like another reviewer mentioned. I overheard them saying the same thing to every other customer in the waiting room, so it's clearly just an upsell tactic. The actual service was just ok, and I've had far better at other hair spas. The facial products they used felt and smelled cheap, definitely not high quality. They also tacked on a 3% fee for using a credit card. read more

This spa has a lot of great reviews, and while I did enjoy certain aspects of my visit, I left feeling a bit shortchanged on time. Appointments are advertised as a 90-minute session, but between the hair wash and facial (about 60 minutes), plus the blow dry (15 minutes) and payment (5 minutes), I found myself out the door nearly 10 minutes before the scheduled end time. The head massage portion was minimal--most of the time was spent on the facial, which was a letdown since I expected a more balanced experience. Interestingly, everyone who started at the same time as me was also done early, so it seems to be standard practice. Overall, the service was pleasant enough, but the timing issue and lack of a thorough head massage left me feeling like the session was rushed or mislabeled. If they're going to advertise a 90-minute service, they should deliver the full 90 minutes--or at least be transparent about the actual breakdown. read more

I've been wanting to try this place so I decided to book an appointment for my birthday! The spa is located in a pretty busy parking lot, but there's plenty of free parking. The spa itself is pretty small, but was kept nice and tidy. The staff were also friendly and welcoming just very soft spoken. When they saw my hair initially (which is thick curly hair) they said oh just making sure you know we don't style just blow dry. I declined and she offered to spend more time on my massage. The Kaori Head & Scalp Treatment was $138 for a 90 minute service, which was pretty pricey but worth the experience. The team provided an initial scalp analysis and offered a scalp purification exfoliation, for an additional $25, but I kindly declined. They also do another analysis after treatment which is satisfying to see. This location does not offer private rooms, only beds separated by curtains so just pay attention to which one you book. It was pretty private and quiet for the most part and they make you change in a private room prior to coming to the shared space. They provided a warm eye mask, warm foot covers, and a heat pad on my belly which kept me nice and cozy throughout my treatment. The scalp treatment was magical, but the collagen mask was a game changer. My face and scalp felt amazing afterward! I opted out of blow drying my hair, but they did have some hair oil and other products I used prior to leaving. This is definitely a fun, but pricey experience. Service was amazing, my beautician for my appointment was Amy and her hands are magical! Massage was great, she's very attentive and knowledgeable with her craft and you as her client. During the service you are greeted with a scalp analysis, change into a gown, warm booties, 2 blankets, pillow for your underneath your knees, a warm cloth for your stomach and a warm eye mask. Then she proceeded to give me a head and scalp massage, brush the hair, facial, face mask, another massage from head, neck to chest and shoulders, hair wash and treatment then blow dry and another scalp analysis.
