However, shortly before the massage started, I realized that my boyfriend was being massaged by the woman, while I was being massaged by an older man who had been at the front desk. I was never informed beforehand that I would be receiving a massage from a male therapist, nor was I asked whether I was comfortable with that. I feel like this is something a customer should be told before the massage begins, especially when we were not given a choice. During the massage, I became very uncomfortable. At one point, the man was using my buttocks area as a place to rest his right hand while massaging me with his left hand. When he was about to massage my legs, he placed the towel between my legs and pushed it against my private area twice. This was completely unexpected and made me extremely uncomfortable. My heart was racing throughout the massage because I felt uncomfortable and scared, but I didn't know how to react or what to say in the moment. The experience became more uncomfortable as time went on. He was mostly silent throughout the massage. Regardless of his intentions, I did not feel safe or comfortable with the way the massage was conducted. I believe clients should be clearly informed about who will be performing their massage and should be asked about their comfort level, especially when the therapist is a different gender than expected. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling very uncomfortable afterward, and I would not recommend this spa at all based on my experience.

The biggest issue for me was that the focus seemed to be more on selling memberships and expensive add-ons than on providing quality massage services. Every visit felt like there was pressure to purchase extras such as aromatherapy and other upgrades, all of which I found to be overpriced. On top of that, the pricing structure felt confusing and, at times, like there were hidden fees. The cost of services seemed to vary depending on the day of the week or the therapist, which was frustrating. I prefer straightforward, transparent pricing so I know exactly what I'm paying upfront, and that wasn't my experience here. I also wasn't impressed with the quality of the massages. The therapists were inconsistent, and after my last massage, I actually left in pain. That experience was the final reason I decided to cancel my membership. The cancellation process is where the customer service issues really became apparent. When I cancelled, I was told via text that I had one remaining massage credit to use. I signed the cancellation agreement, but admittedly (my bad) I overlooked the section stating that unused credits expire after 60 days. Three months later, I contacted the business to schedule my final massage and was informed that my credit had expired. While I acknowledge that I should have read the agreement more carefully, I was disappointed that no one mentioned the 60-day expiration when they told me I had a remaining credit. Since I had already paid for that service, I asked if they would consider honoring the credit as a courtesy. They said they would discuss it with the owner and get back to me. More than a week later, I still have not received a response. At this point, it's less about the massage credit and more about the lack of customer service. The combination of aggressive upselling, underwhelming massage quality, and poor follow-through left me feeling like the business was more focused on generating revenue than taking care of its clients. Nikki has a way of listening to what your body needs without you even having to say anything. She reacts and adjusts based on what she observes. I always leave feeling stretched and relaxed. I repeatedly communicated that the pressure was painful and asked her to adjust. My original complaint was not simply that I wanted a refund after finishing a massage I disliked. It was about a very poor experience despite my attempts to communicate, followed by a dismissive response when I brought it to the front desk. Their public response is considerably more apologetic than the response I actually received in person, but unfortunately the emphasis on what I should have done within the first 15 minutes only reinforces my disappointment with how this was handled.
