Orange Chicken
Nathalie R.

Overall it was really good. Fried rice tasted more like white rice with some color, not like fried rice. I added some chili oil, oyster sauce and teriyaki and that made it taste waaay better. I ordered Mongolian beef and it was really delicious as well as the orange chicken. The service was good, although the waitress forgot to put out apps in. Ambiance was good as well, very familiar and calm.

Stir Fried Cauliflower on Fire Pot; also very good

I'm from Houston, TX; we have very good Chinese food there. Asia Kitchen is definitely comparable. I was extremely impressed and pleased with finding an authentic Chinese restaurant in east TN. Now I can get a little taste of home whenever I miss it. Service was good. We've dined in for dinner and have had take out for lunch. They're busy each time we came. We've tried: Double cooked pork Stir fried cauliflower in fire pot Fish fillet & soft tofu in hot chili gravy String beans with ground pork Mapo tofu with ground pork Orange chicken (to go but I'd recommend better to dine in) Our favorite is the double cooked pork. So delicious and savory. Yum!

Moo Goo Gai Pan

We have dined here in the past and always remembered the execution of their entrees and family style lazy Susan's for groups at the table. We wandered in as the after church crowd on Sunday. It was packed which is usually a good sign. The appetizer egg rolls, steamed dumplings and seared pot stickers were amazing. The cheese wontons were crunchy cream cheese pillows fit for a king. Egg rolls and Rangoon's were lightly fried and light and crispy! For mains the table decided on baby bok choy in garlic sauce, yellow curry with chicken, moo goo gai pan with chicken and wontons in chili sauce. Each one had developed flavor and was authentic preparation. The garlic baby bok choy was incredibly delicate and if you have tried bok choy and experienced a celery type of ingredient, this will open your mind to the possibilities. The service was attentive and pleasant and we all left with take out boxes of leftovers. We enjoyed our lunch and will be back again.

Pho Tai

So I am a pho snob especially being from San Jose where we have some of the best pho ever. I knew I was not going to get comparable Pho in Knoxville but really had a craving for it and this place had the best reviews. It's a large restaurant and on a late Monday evening, it was about 1/3 full but everyone else was eating Chinese food. I ordered a small pho tai with a side of veggie spring rolls. The pho came out and I was really confused as to why the soup was so foamy and bubbly. It irked me out but I ate it anyways. For a small, it was a huge portion. So much noodles, but not that much steak which were thicker cuts, some too chewy. The sprouts didn't look super fresh, but appreciated that they gave me a side of white onions. When the veggie spring rolls didn't come out, I cancelled it because it was way too much food already. She had forgotten which was completely fine. Service was good here though, but don't think pho is their speciality.

Top to bottom: Shrimp and vegetables, Spicy Green beans with ground pork, and General Tao's chicken

The most legit Chinese food in Knoxville... General Tao's Chicken, Spicey Green Beans with Ground Pork, and Shrimp and Mixed Vegetables...lunch portions! All 9.95 (shrimp 10.45); they come with choice of rice, soup or egg/spring roll. Let's just start with the Hot and sour soup...lovely authentic taste with the right mixture of tofu, veggies and spice. The egg and spring rolls are hot, crunchy and filled with pork or vegetables as described. The spicy green beans are so good you can't stop eating them. Both entrees had the wonderful proper flavors that you're looking for. I can't wait to come back...definitely on our Best of List!

Walked in 5 minutes before 3:00, and there were only 2 tables with guest. They took a few minutes to seat me, then a few more minutes to take my drink order. Finally they brought my drink and I placed my lunch order, only to be told that lunch ended at 3:00. It was exactly 3:05, and they would not make an exception, so I was required to order the dinner portion of the same dish. The food was just fair. The fried dumplings and Mongolian beef were both a bit bland and disappointing. No true dumpling sauce, just soy sauce. The name implies multiple Asian-style dishes, but really the only options are traditional Chinese or pho. Very friendly service. No alcohol options. Disappointing experience.

Wonton in Chili Sauce

This place was recommended to us by a coworker. They offer a huge selection of food and they kindly gave us time to look over everything. The food came out very quick. I got the wonton with egg drop soup and crabmeat cheese wonton. The portions are quite big but everything was fresh. It was delicious and would definitely go back again!

Big seating table with a lazy Susan in the middle

Since moving here from Miami I have been in dire search for a good Asian restaurant. I wanted some thing with the regular festival food most Chinese places serve, but traditional dishes also. My dreams have been come true at Asia Kitchen. The food is always fresh with enough portions to take home.

An hour wait for carry out? And my food still isn't ready? This is crazy. They aren't even that busy.

Great food, and even better portions. Prices are old school, and the staff is always on top of things! One of my favorites!

Really bad experience. A wrong order first . Then, wrong meat was used in a meal but refused to admit.

It was time for my family to venture from our normal Chinese food place and try a new place. We…read moreheard good things about the food and pricing so we were excited to try! We ordered a LOT so we could sample things- it was about $74 and around $84 after tax's and fees. Ordered was (also note combos include egg roll and either a type of rice Pelli mein): -Beef and broccoli combo white rice -Chicken lomein combo chicken fried rice -Egg drop soup -Extra egg rolls -Pork egg foo young -And moo goo with no mushrooms The eggs rolls are AMAZING! Would totally eat 10. Egg foo young was good and the sauce was interesting. It didn't taste like traditional brown sauce and had more of an almost sweet flavor but very slight, and the color was like chicken gravy and not even brown. Lo mein was good and had decent flavor, but border line bland. The white rice was nice and fluffy and not hard. As for the chicken fried rice it was very bland and very dry-super disappointed in that. Beef and broccoli combo with white rice was good and had good flavor. Food portions are small. The combination platters are not shareable so just a heads up. I would say overall the food flavor was decent but my normal Chinese place, there is a lot more flavor so I don't think we will be back as it wasn't quite worth the almost 40 minute drive to and then 50+ back home with traffic. But if you're close and want some decent inexpensive Chinese food-this is your spot to try! Oh and note if you're doing take out- you have to order and pay $1 for sauces. We got no sauces with our egg rolls and I noticed after you have to purchase them in packs. UPDATE: I have never in my life experienced such bad bloating! My brother and I both got sick after eating! We both look 8 months pregnant and have never experienced anything like it! Changed my rating to 2 stars!

Best pork lo mein I've had in years...will definitely come here again! Very friendly people and…read morethe price was very reasonable..
