OK... I hate hate hate buffets! I don't eat enough to validate the pricing and I hate others being all close to me when getting food. I have a growing son and an overgrown mate to feed daily. Do I took the guys for Chinese buffet. First ...the wait was 25 min outside with limited seating. There was a begger making everyone uncomfortable right outside front door. Second....you get assigned a table. You then hit the lines...dishes were as I remembered them from the last time I visited a buffet...hit or miss. Some clean and some dirty. The food in the chow lines was mediocre to me. They had crab legs on the night we went and the boys liked that. The sushi was Luke warm and not good. Just when I thought I'd wasted my 15 bucks I found the hibatchi grill..save! For the cost I'd rather have enjoyed the experience more..but the men killed it and conquered. How to lose a customer: 1. Customer comes into Asian Buffet with a 10% buffet from King Buffet and asks if they may use the coupon there. Response from 2 people up front (I assume 1 was a manager): NO! That's King Buffet! 2. You (Asian Buffet) have a 10% off coupon on your website. Question: You must not be in need of customers, if you let a customer walk out the door in this scenario. Just bizarre and quite arrogant on the part of Asian Buffet. After reading the reviews I see that this is super common for them, I had a women ( our waiter ) take our check and come back and say " NO TIP, seriously ? " in a rude way. Awesome place! The service is fast as they can possibly go even on Sundays when they are super packed they have booths as well as regular seating. It is a little tight in there, but not too much. The food always taste very good. I would say it is fresh and if it's not fresh or promptly bringing out new food, their sushi is very delicious and we have much to choose from, the dishes are always clean. After laughs & good times at Ripleys, we were starving. The big sign for "BUFFET" was definitely an eye catcher. Tada! We're here. We came in still in time for lunch pricing. They had an array of foods, mostly hot but you have cold choices as well. The only bad thing was the wait. Especially on Friday Saturday nights can be 20-40 minutes avg. Seafood night is a hit but there is so much to choose from and fresh. Occasionally you'll come across tough meat or something that's not so great like certain sushi. At least you can try many things for the same $15 price tag. Mongolian grill , ice cream to finish , can't ask much more. It was my 3rd time and first review here. I'm going back when I'm starving and want variety Chinese food. read more

I'm not a Chinese Buffet expert so really take my opinion with a grain of salt. Aside from that this place has a good variety and it's not super expensive. The joint is packed during the lunch hours so that is a vote of confidence in my view. They also have a seniors discount ($5.99) during the mid afternoon but of course that doesn't apply to me (ha). I like the Mongolian stir fry station where you put the ingredients in bowl, with a couple noodle selections on the side and an egg or two. Chinese buffet novice tip: hit the Mongolian stir fry station first because the amount of food can be much more than it appears. The sushi is good and there was enough variety for my Chinese Vegetarian wife. Finally, the food stations were all clean instead of looking like a cattle trough at Circus Circus. If you've been there, you know what I mean. The staff is nice and you get a fortune cookie which by the way you never get in China. I guess it's an American thing. Amazing! This without a doubt the BEST Asian buffet I have ever dined. The lo mein was PERFECT (I'm picky), the Crab Rangoon was FULL of cream cheese & crab! All my favorites & a few new ones. A seafood salad that was unbelievable, maybe it was Ceviche, crab, shrimp, octopus, jalapeños & cilantro! They have a Mongolian Grill, fresh sushi made & served! Several kinds of chicken wings! So clean & new looking inside. The dessert bar was so good that I ordered coffee & the coffee was fresh, strong & perfect with the coffee cake, coconut macaroons & bread pudding! They had spicy crawfish, crab and several styles of shrimp! The spicy fish soup was amazing! I haven't eaten food this good since I was in Singapore!! 3.5 average? Coming to this place I felt very happy knowing it's my friend's 17th birthday but these people made it feel absolutely horrible. The waiters kept staring us down and telling us we had to pay for the food we were eating like we didn't know already. I tried this place for the first time on Saturday to celebrate my dad's birthday and overall we enjoyed our visit. The staff was helpful, the restaurant was clean, and the food was good but it could have been hotter. We came around noon and a lot of the food was warm. They did well on switching them out within that hour for fresher and hotter food though. Like most asian buffets they had the regular lo mien, fried rice, etc. What really stood out to me was the freshly prepared sushi (although a small selection), and the perfectly seasoned egg drop soup. Most places have bland soup but I'm happy to say that they did not. The ice cream and dessert section was like most asian buffets, but much cleaner with fresh melons. Some of the food items were mis-labeled, mainly the spots where dinner options are placed so it wasn't a big deal but it was amusing to see breaded chicken labeled as crawfish. My family and I will definitely be back, maybe next time for dinner. :) read more

This place was not very good at all. My family and I tried it out because it's always packed and we drive by it all the time. Figured we'd give it a chance. No clue why it's so full all the time. There wasn't a single item that stood out as being above average compared to other Chinese buffets like this one. The service was passable. The restaurant wasn't particularly clean. Masks aren't really going to be worn or enforced when you have this many people packed in this kind of place. Really you go there just for the food. The bathrooms weren't very clean either. Just overall a pretty dismal experience. Maybe lunch time is different when it's not too crowded? But I doubt I'll be back. There are other buffets in the area that I'd rather go to than this one. I love this buffet! The is the number one buffet that I have eaten at, and I've been to a lot! Not sure of the station but the radio station is set to Christian music. First I get a plate of sushi and sit down and eat. Then I choose my ingredients for the Mongolian grill and give it to the cook. While that's cooking I help myself to the other buffets, love the crab/cheese casserole they offer. I eat about 3/4 of that plate then get my Mongolian cooked food. It's very hot and full of spice. What can I say about this place. Food was fresh. And the taste was one of the best buffet restaurants I've ever had.

I've eaten here about 5 times since it opened. Each dining experience was worse than the last. Today was hands down the worst. The food did not taste fresh, and most of it was rubbery and overcooked. The sweet and sour sauce was thin and tasted off. Even the Jello had a rubbery layer on the bottom. I told my 11 year old daughter that she had my permission to slap me hard, if I ever mention eating here again. I've never told her that before, and it brought a smile to her face. It was the best thing about our most recent dining experience at Asian Buffet on Copeland Rd in Arlington Texas. When I pay around $30.00 for my kid and me to have lunch, I expect to leave happy and full. Both of us were very disappointed. read more

They do have quite a few items to choose from but very few signature style dishes to speak of and the taste is not extraordinary. The 15 minute wait seemed to promise a delightful dining experience but overall, it was a bit disappointing. Kudos for the tasty sushi selections as well as the Mongolian grill. Great selection on the buffet. This is one of my favorite Chinese buffets. If you can't find something you like, then you're way TOO picky. The buffet stays well stocked and hot especially when there are crowds at lunch and dinner. They also have a very nice selection of hand made sushi, very enjoyable. I used to love coming here. It has a great variation of food but flies all over the place and today a cockroach was crawling on the wall and table where my family were eating. Nothing was done. We had to request a new table but it was so uncomfortable and waiter still had the audacity to follow us out for a tip. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was completely unacceptable. This is a new Chinese buffet no different than any other Chinese buffet. The place is nice, new and very clean. Went on a Saturday with a big group so we had to wait about 40mins. But that was fine. Busy means fresh hot food. That is one problem with buffets if they are slow do not go there. The food will be cold. Back to this place the food was good bunch of choices. With good sushi selection and a Mongolian grill. There is also a big selection of seafood. the price is 11.50 on Friday and Saturday night.
