Tried the noodle with duck, beef chow fun, black bean spare rib chow fun and a few other dishes. My co-workers like to come here due to convenience and variety. The waiters speak Mandarin Cantonese and Vietnamese with covers most of my co-workers. Everything was pretty average. Nothing stood out. It takes a while to actually get your food. I wouldn't mind waiting if the food was memorable but it wasn't. My co-workers would finish there noodle soup before I even get my chow fun.. pretty unprofessional. I've lived in the area since I was 3 years old, but I never knew this place existed... I was pleasantly surprised though! Pretty solid Asian food, if you ask me. I definitely wouldn't mind coming again. The Honey Walnut Prawns, Salt/Pepper Fish Fillet, and Salt/Pepper Squid are all really good dishes. The Clams with Black Bean Sauce isn't bad either. Sometimes I come here to have dinner with my parents. We love the 3 items for $15.99 deal. You get three dishes, rice, and soup. If we are feeling extra hungry that day, we'll also order the walnut shrimp. I really like the salt and pepper spareribs, peking spareribs, fried fish, and tofu claypot. You can also call in your order for pick-up, but they don't speak English very well, so you have to be really patient with them in order to get your food order correct. Also, you don't get the soup when you order take out. If we come here for lunch, I'll usually order some sort of noodle soup instead. Everything is super affordable here. The last time I was there I was in a "salty" phase and ordered Salt & Pepper Pork Salt & Pepper Fish Salt & Pepper Tofu All were quite excellent (some of the better versions I've had) and tasty. Those who are sensitive to MSG (or are REALLY health conscious) may want to ask for these dishes without MSG....there were visible crystals all over (not a big deal for me since MSG really isn't that bad in small amounts). They have a nice 3 dishes/$15.99 deal which let's you sample a number of dishes for a really good price. I had some of the ox-tail soup which was also quite comforting. I was brought to this restaurant, and decided I would give it a try. I know Vietnamese food is tasty, but this was nothing special. I did enjoy the food and the company I was with, but the food was not special at all. Actually one of the persons in our group had some Pho and in one of the shrimp had a broken piece of plastic, which we were told looked like the seaweed that is added in the food. Asiana Garden serves up some good food for pretty cheap. Their best deal is the 3 dishes dinner. They give you a pretty deep list of entrees to choose from. It's hard to decide on just 3, but at the same time its pretty hard to go wrong either. I usually go for the peking ribs, house special beef, and a clay pot. It includes a soup, and if you add in white rice for a couple people, it comes out to about $20. Which is ridiculously cheap considering how much food each person gets. The service here is kind of lousy, but hey its an asian restaurant..so I'm not expecting much. They also have a big LCD tv with some sort of sporting event on, so that's another plus. My hubby bought a Groupon deal and his family used to eat here a lot when he was younger. We ordered the special Asiana Garden seafood pan fried noodles. I expected to have a wide variety of seafood, but it ended up being shrimp. I felt jipped. The pan fried noodles had some picked veggies and bell peppers. The noodles were great since it was crispy and some soggy parts in the middle. I wouldn't order the dish again though. In addition, we also ordered an omelet with oyster. It was really funky. There was something gelatinous in the omelet and we weren't sure what it was. Maybe it was to bind the oyster to the omelet? I would go back to try the noodle soup or other fried noodles. The highlights of this restaurant was that it certainly was cleaner than its predecessor (New Sam Kee) with modern chairs, new carpet, clean fish tank in front of door, and no roaches scurrying up the walls. First time here I went for the out of the ordinary option and did the Mi Vit Tiem which is a noodle dish that's served with duck cooked in a Chinese medicine broth. Sounds disgusting, looks disgusting, tastes wonderful. It's probably a like it or hate it affair but I really enjoyed it. The noodles had great consistency - not too tough, not super soft - and the broth was an eerie, but rich black. I was there with family so I was able to mooch off a few other plates, try different items off the menu and I could safely give a lot of things from their expansive menu a B+. Service and decor are everything you would expect from a restaurant of this type. I think the word is... nondescript. I came here on thanksgiving and had increidbly low expectations. It's squeezed between a ghetto bar/lounge and lucky 7 supermarket. Parking is, of course, awful, but I accept that as an Asian fact of life. The menu is extensive. Their fried tofu is crispy on the outside, velvety smooth on the inside. The pan-fried flour cake (banh bot chien trung) is delicious, but be careful, it goes down the esophagus hot. I enjoyed the food here and am definitely willing to return. :) read more

For dinner for two we chose oyster w scallion, crispy shrimp w salted egg ( i always order salted egg whenever i see it on the menu) and crispy fried quail. For this price, there is a good portion of salmon drenched in a deliciously sweet, sour, and a hint of spicy. Cheap dinner price! It's like 16$ for three dishes, free soup, and sometimes, free dessert! :) You can feed a whole family in here. Water is very tasty for tap water and tea is exceptional. Try the salt and paper ribs. They are to die for! The fried tofu is interesting. Crispy on the outside, tasteless in the inside (so prepare to dip a whole lot of soy sauce).
