I've been coming here for years. The food is great. I usually get the fajitas. Tonight, I was driving come and didn't have much time, so I called it in like I often do. Somebody answered right away and asked if I could hold. So I said okay. As I was driving, I kept hearing the same 20 seconds of hold music over and over and over and over. About 10 minutes later, my wife called from her phone and was put straight on hold. I got to the restaurant 20 minutes after I first called, still on hold. I got inside, and they weren't even that busy. Nobody was in line to order. I placed my order and told the guy at the register that I've been on hold for 20 minutes and asked why nobody answered. He just said, "I just got back from break." No apology. Nothing. This was the worst service I've ever gotten here and is some of the worst I've gotten anywhere. I felt like they just don't care and don't want to be bothered answering the phone. I am not sure if I'll even want to come back since they obviously don't need my business. read more

Aztec Tacos has always been top notch quick Mexican food. Service today by the white cashier lady working at 4pm was very disappointing. I ordered take out and when I asked for salsa after paying for it, she was rude asking "well did you ask for it?" I said I am asking now. Thank you. This is the kind of poor service and response you get with poor quality people working. Choose wisely as service industries are struggling to find people. Don't waist your time calling to place an order over the phone. I agree with the comment below... Los Tacos on Temecula Park Way always answer their phone and are ALWAYS busy. These guys will answer and tell you to hold and hang up on you after you've waited. "Visit their website" they'll say. If that's the case, don't provide a number to call for phone orders. Don't make the excuse that customers call during "busy hours". Everyone is busy! If your workers answer the phone the least they can do is place the order instead of hanging up after you've waited. read more

So my bf was getting his car fixed at les schwab which is located in the same shopping center and the maintenance guy at les schwab recommended this place. So we decided to check this place out. We ordered the aztec taco, chicken, and asada taco. They were all really good! I love how the meat has that grill taste to it. The asada and aztec tacos were good, but the chicken was better. One of the best burritos I've had in a while! I split a pastor burrito and an order of asada fries. Their meat is quality and seasoned and cooked to perfection. A true authentic taste. Let's me lead off with that I stand my my previous reviews and I believe it is a solid 4 star taco place. I was raised in NY and spent the last 15 years here in California. My lovely wife though has Mexican blood running through her veins and is very knowledgeable with Mexican cuisine. Trust me I hear it....a lot.... However as well as she and her family cooks and the memorable food from ages of eating Mexican cuisine...most items are a solid 3-4. The price of most items are on the high side however your tacos will be stuffed (well sadly the tortilla broke on 3 of the 6 we got, single tortilla) but one item wowed us today. Their steak and shrimp burrito was amazing.... amazing. Every bit had steak and shrimp and the house sauce complemented it perfectly. We're coming back for this. This alone was worth the 5 stars. The value of the shrimp and steak burrito is right on the money. We loved it.... so much. read more

This place was amazing I got the two taco plate it comes with choice of meat (of course I chose chicken) rice and beans. The beans could be seasoned a little more but overall the food was good. This place stay busy and they have homemade flour tortillas made right there as you await to order. When I say this place is always busy I mean it. The line be out the door and trust me when I tell you it's worth it. If you order online, just know you do not get the FULL menu. However, if you are a returning customer and you do not want to wait in a long line order ahead which still takes 35-45mins to cook your food bc it is made to order. Stopped by for a quick lunch before heading to Temecula. There's an extensive menu, so make sure you have an idea of what you want. We tried the carnitas taco, good- I think the tortilla may have been home made as it was thick and kind of dry. We also tried their quesataco- WOW! That was absolutely amazing, so flavorful and satisfying. The actual space is comfortable and staff was friendly. My only disappointment here is that the meat fat on the Carne Asada can be a little tough and "interruptive" to enjoyment. Other than that, really good selection & the guacamole is delicious. Service here can be slow, as it's a pretty popular place. My recommendation is to place your order for pickup.
