Delicious to go meal here (no dine in). They cook everything fresh so if you don't want to wait I'd recommend calling in advance for pick up. I ordered the 2 item combo with crispy pork and fish sauce chicken. The fish sauce chicken was super delicious and I loved the sauce that went with it! I loved the saltiness mixed with the sweetness/tanginess of the fish sauce. The crispy pork was also super crispy. Paired well with the veggies and the rice since everything was such a blast of flavor. Service was good too.

I've been here twice, and the owners have been extra accommodating when it came to tailoring my food portion. Very nice atmosphere, clean restaurant, welcoming environment. Not to mention the delicious food. I'm a huge fan of crispy pork bellies, and this place DELIVERS. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, what more can you ask for?

1. The wings and pork were delicious! 2. The spot had fast casual vibes as you would mainly order, pickup, and go! 3. There are two indoor tables! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with our order! 5. Parking is easy! Note: I did not see a restroom available for customers! Photo: Wings and Roasted Pork Combo

Rice combo fish sauce wings and pork belly

A hidden gem! Been craving some crispy pork belly and had this place on my Yelp to check out. I'm glad I stopped by, ordered the rice combo with fish sauce wings and pork belly 5/5. It came with broken rice, some pickled veggies, and dipping sauce for the pork belly. The pickled veggies were great, sweet, and had a nice crunch/ firmness. The dipping sauce for the pork belly reminds me of the 1.99 chicken sauce but with a punch of five spice. Service was quick and fast. I also ordered 1 lb of pork belly in case I wanted more. They offer party trays and an array of other dishes that I want to try out. Definitely worth the time to stop by for good eats! It's really design for a Togo and pick up place.

I found this place by chance, was looking for some fried snacks for dinner. The crispy chicken was great, the batter was perfect, not salty at all, only costing 9.99 per lbs. Did I mention that they are boneless. The crispy pork tasted awesome, costing 15.99 per lbs. The owner was very friendly, since most of the writing was in Vietnamese, he explained which one I was looking for.

Came for roast chicken but it takes 1 hour. Made to order fresh chicken. Next time. I got the roast pork. Owner gave me a wing to try. I bought a pound. Pork was moist, flavorful with crisp skin. Not too fatty. Really well done. A dipping sauce on the side. Wings had fish sauce. Crisp, sweet, light coating. Really good. It's good to know the chicken are fresh and made to order. I'll be back.

What a hidden gem! I went here for lunch the other day, and I blown away. The food reminds me of the Viet comfort food my mom would cook. Super tasty and affordable. The restaurant has a few seats inside and was pretty tidy. I did an order pickup, but I really want to stay and eat there next time. Looks like a really chill place.

This fairly new Vietnamese takeout establishment caught my eye as I was driving by one day so I looked them up on Yelp. Reviews and photos of the food looked good, plus I was really craving crispy pork and it seemed to be one of their popular items. Fellow Yelpers mentioned that there was no English menu but as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and they now have a huge English menu plastered on their wall! Since it was our first time, we got to sample their chicken wings and crispy pork with sticky rice. Pretty smart move to let potential customers try out their best dishes. It is recommended to call in your order at least 1 hour before pickup. Or you can go shop at Walmart in the same plaza or go to Rodeo 39 while you wait for your order like I did. Stamp cards are available for chicken and pork purchases by the pound. Buy 10 pounds of chicken or pork and get 1 pound for free. You don't earn any stamps if you order from their party tray menu though. Overall, my family enjoyed the food and will definitely be back for more of that crispy pork and to try other items on their menu. Give this small business a try! || L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross Streets are Beach Blvd. & Garden Grove Blvd -Located in the same plaza as Little Caesars, Walmart, Denny's and more. This is the shopping plaza located right across from Rodeo 39 but they are located on the side of the strip facing Garden Grove Blvd. -Plenty of parking spots in the plaza || F O O D || Crispy Pork ($14.99/lb) - Ordered 2lbs for the fam, because I have an older brother who will just annihilate this if I only ordered 1lb. The pork was still juicy and tender and the crispy skin wasn't hard to chew. The balance was perfect. Fried Chicken Wings with Fish Sauce ($11.99/lb) - Maybe because I'm so used to fish sauce but I didn't think the fish sauce flavor was super pungent. This was not bad but I would have personally preferred if the wings were crispier and glazed with sauce. 4 Spice Grilled Whole Chicken ($31.99) - I wanted to try one of their grilled chicken selections, so I asked the owner which one was the most popular. He mentioned it was this one or the satay grilled one. The order also comes with a side of pickled veggies so that was nice. The chicken wasn't dry and I liked how the herbs really brought out the flavors on the chicken. It's definitely a lighter dish compared to the other two proteins I got.

I got the small crispy pork with vermicelli noodles and it was amazing. Amazing flavors and you can tell it was fresh. The gentleman who took my order was very nice! This will definitely be in my rotation.

Everything was delicious! Randomly decided to come for lunch after a quick search on yelp. I am definitely coming back, I loved the pork and wings were crispy and flavorful. I ordered an eggroll also for $1 but got too full; so I'll have to save it for later. The man working(owner?) was very nice and cleaned a spot for me to eat there. Very attentive. 10/10

For starters, we got their Chile-Lime Cauliflower, and it is so good! The chile-lime vinaigrette is really what makes it! I have never enjoyed cauliflower so much! I only wish they would cut the cauliflower into slightly smaller pieces so it's a little easier to eat. But other than that, highly recommend this dish! I wanted something warm and comforting, so I got their Ribeye Pho. It comes in a pretty big bowl with tenderized sliced ribeye steak, noodles, and all of the pho fixings. I ordered my food around 8pm, 3 dishes, and ended up having everything around 8:50pm. The funny part is the couple ordered after I got their food first, probably around 8:20-8:30pm (2 of their dish were the same one that I ordered, bột chiên and bánh tráng nướng),maybe cuz I seemed chiller and calmer while the other couple was mad about the wait. I understand that the wait time could be long, but the fact that they gave my order for the customers who came after me was ridiculously funny. I'm not mad because of the wait time, it was Sat and the market was busy too, simply felt like I got disrespected. Their food was ok, and the price was ~9$ for all of their food, if you wanna try, just come on regular weekday, hopefully they'll work out their customer service next time.

A few more guests came in after us, but most of the tables remained open. We ordered the #7 Shrimp Spring Rolls ($8.95) to start. They were edible, but the texture was a little stale and chewy, almost like they had been made earlier in the day and refrigerated a bit too long. Compared to spring rolls we've had at other Vietnamese restaurants, these fell short. My wife ordered the #24 Beef Pho with Rare Steak ($13.95), while I had the #23 Beef Pho Combo (14.95). Both bowls were served with a fairly bland broth and noticeably less meat than we're used to seeing at a similar price point elsewhere. That said, the service was excellent. Our server stayed on top of everything and checked in several times to make sure we were happy with our meal. The restaurant was also very clean and organized. Overall, the experience was fine, but the food itself just didn't leave much of an impression. We left feeling like we probably don't need to scratch the Pho May itch again anytime soon.

The first time was earlier in the evening and wasn't crowded at all. The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. Welcome to Day 2 of OC Food Journals, where I try a new place every day so you don't have to…read more Today's stop was Loi's Kitchen, and honestly, this review is a little overdue. I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!
