Have to say this place has always been solid! They have the BEST pumpernickel bagels! This location is always pretty busy and the staff is always friendly. This is like a mom and pop diner with a fairly large seating area. On this particular visit I asked for an off the menu item. I wanted their French Riviera omelette in a wrap (burrito style). They checked with the kitchen and said no problem. I asked that they scramble the eggs vs an actual omelette. I got a side of their grits with it. This was absolutely delicious! The creaminess of the goat cheese with the roasted cherry tomato and super fresh spinach and scallions was a flavor bomb! This was really, really, tasty! And the grits were perfect for me, no heavy cream or seasoning. Just tasty grits! This was an excellent breakfast that delivered on tasty flavors!

If you want good food with bad service in a senior center environment, this is the place! I had a late breakfast with my daughter and arrived earlier than her by 15 minutes. I was told to seat myself but most every table had a reserved sign on it. Guess who came in to sit there? Old people who were coughing, talking loudly and leaving their walker in the open spaces. I don't have a problem with the older population except when they are disrespectful to others in a public place. My server, Ana, was very slow and thought everything she did was funny. I didn't get it? I was glad that the kitchen was very good because food was prepared quickly and at a good temperature. The restaurant was clean and parking was not a problem but in the future, I would look for somewhere with a better dining environment.

Came in for bagels and discovered there is a lot more offered here! Full menu and sit down restaurant with breakfast/lunch options. Obviously bagels galore, but plenty of other options too. You can even buy their bagels alone and/or their special cream cheeses! My fiancé and I came in to order some bagel sandwiches to go and we were not disappointed. We both ordered the lox everything bagel sandwiches. They were absolutely delicious and you cannot go wrong with the order. Great bagels, lots of delicious cream cheese, and fresh lox and capers! We can't wait to go back for other breakfast options or maybe just go back for more lox bagel sandwiches.

Had to wait for the DMV appointment at the office and found this listed as a few blocks away. Pricing was decent and the food was good, but the bagel was very underwhelming. For a place that has a bagel in the name. They should try to do a better job. For me it was slightly undercooked. I noticed a lot of older people there so perhaps they have to have bland food due to their customer base. I got a basic bagel, egg cheese, and bacon sandwich. It did the trick and the special was a good buy with coffee included. Service was good. Probably would not come back here unless I was at the DMV again.

This was our first and last time eating at this restaurant! The restaurant seemed extremely unorganized and the staff seemed to be stressed out. I ordered a breakfast combo which included eggs, a side of home fries, a biscuit and turkey sausage. My fiancé ordered the matzo ball soup, which had no taste and the ball fell apart immediately upon putting the spoon in the bowl. My food was the most unappetizing thing I had ever seen, especially when I specifically requested for the eggs to be well done but they came out completely wet and soggy. I requested for my food to be sent back and cooked properly as I had originally requested. They needed to be sent back twice and each time they were brought back it was worse and worse. The cook clearly did not follow any food safe regulations, by putting my eggs back into a pan AFTER my fork had already touched it. The second time they came out, instead of just making a fresh set of eggs, they came out with bits of my cut up sausage and fries cooked into the burnt eggs. When I requested for this to be removed from the bill as at this point I was not going to be eating this meal, the waitress with the pink hair decided to "just remove the eggs" and charged me individually for the biscuit and the turkey sausage....looks like this place really needs the money. Unfortunately, they lost a customer from this.

I was amazed at walking in. I thought it was going to be just a front storefront, but it's a whole diner in here very nicely set up although I'm getting to go, I will return for dine in everybody's faces look happy and the go cashiers very helpful.

Stopped in for a to go order. We ordered the poppy seed bagel with cream cheese, a breakfast bagel sandwich with a sausage patty, 2 over medium eggs and cheddar cheese an order of hash browns and corned beef hash. The bagels were a little too doughy, the cream cheese tasted like it was house made but lacked the rich flavor of cream cheese. Our hash browns were okay but would've ordered well done to get the that crispy hash brown texture. The restaurant was bigger than I expected, clean and service was quick and prompt. Overall, I'm not sure if I'd come again but 3 G's.

My boyfriend and I wanted brunch without all the extra. You know what I mean. The trend of brunch days now are DJs, reservation required and crowd. We just wanted some good food and mimosas. This is a local gem that didn't require reservation. It's seems to be the spot for a lot of seniors. We enjoyed people watching as they pushed their walkers and found a table. It's a seat yourself type of vibe. The menu isn't mind blowing. But there's something for everyone. I had the veggie omelette and my boyfriend went with the avocado toast on a bagel. The serve was also good. We didn't wait a long time for our meals. It came out hot and freshly made. We will for sure return.

I stopped by for the first time and requested some bialys. The gentleman at the front pointed to several 6 paks of prepackaged bialys on top of counter. I took a pak and paid for them and took home. These were the worst bialys I have ever eaten. I am sure they were either 1 or 2 days old. I should have been told in advance to the freshness of this mdse. I paid regular price for stale bialys. I had one and threw the rest out in the trash. Shame on you for pawning this garbage off on your customers. I will never return again. read more

This place has been here for many years but was originally owned by the daughter of the owner of "Bagel Host" (the original one on Broward Blvd. and University Dr. - which is fabulous, by the way) and it was better then. I believe it's changed hands twice since the original owners and the food just isn't what it used to be. Still, it's not a bad bagel place and the food is acceptable. Servers are friendly and fairly prompt. read more

Stopped in early Friday morning to pick up some bagels for work people (because I'm super nice)! They open at 6:30 am and were quite empty so it was perfect opportunity to run in and beat the morning rush-hour. Bagel Host too is your local, mom and pop diner. I'm not sure where the original Bagel Host is but BHT sure isn't secondary to DD or Einsteins when it comes to bagels! Bagel Host Too is in the Winn-Dixie plaza (yes they still do exist) on the corner of 44th and Nob Hill, just to the right of the Winn-Dixie entrance. This plaza is huge and even though it appears empty they have a ton of great places in here, like BHT! This is my go-to local bagel place. They have awesome fresh bagels that don't have that mass produced taste like the other places. Their prices are also AMAZING! $8 and change for a dozen bagels? Not too shabby! They also have the coveted bialy which is a special 'no-hole' bagel with onion, garlic, and poppy seed mixture inside the depressed center. Pro-tip... the bialy tastes great toasted with their homemade tuna salad! Trust me! I haven't ever had the pleasure to dine in, mostly just take bagels and salads to-go, but they have a vast menu of breakfast and lunch items sure to please. They also serve fresh lox, cream cheese, and other items to make the perfect breakfast! I highly recommend a stop in to pick up some bagels to take home, for work peeps, or just a quick bialy and tuna salad for lunch! read more

New location... much nicer and more convenient than their prior store. Wouldn't yet recommend eating inside as we aren't sure about ventilation. The bagels are made on the premises. Fat, good tasting, crisp and shiny outside. Rest of the menu is pretty average. The staff we've dealt with is friendly and helpful. Parking right in front. Staff and customers all wore masks. read more

It was exactly what I've been missing since I left Fort Lauderdale to move to Orlando -- a little bagel nook. Fabulous bagels. Fast service. Great prices. Had egg white omelet with grits and an everything bagel for less than $5.00 with coffee. Will definitely return. Hidden in the back of a page shopping plaza it's a bit difficult to find from the main road. read more

I was thinking about the bagel and baked salmon salad I had on a recent trip to New York. Well I happen to be in Sunrise so I looked this place up on yelp, good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. The bagels were disappointing, They don't seem as if it was boiled prior to baking. The baked salmon salad was dry and lacked flavor. Service was ok at best, the waiter was trying to up sell me all I wanted was a bagel and the spread and was insistent I get a platter. Well cross this one off the list. read more

The worst experience I've ever had ever getting bagels and lox to go. I had to question why it was taking so long to get the lox. Was told they never put my order in. No apologies. Argumentative. Kept telling me I was only waiting for 5 minutes when it was at least 15. I won't even try to describe how the lox was presented. read more

I love Bialys...so i bought a pack from the counter..Two days later there was white mold on everybagel i had purchased..I didn't call or return them,but decided that I would tell them next time I went in for breakfast. The girl at the counter could give a care less..She would not replace or refund my money..just said sorry, you should have called, or brought them back. This is no way to keep a customrer, and i will never go back again only because of their rotten attitude towards the customer... read more

Two stars because the people that Im pickin up bagels for say they are delish to bad i will never know. I was going to grab breakfast to go too but after seeing the front/cashier area, I was completely turned off. It's filthy!! The top of the bagel area is very dirty as well as the container that they use to keep the condiments. The bagel baskets are also rusty and the bagels are placed directly in there. It really doesn't look sanitary at all. read more

The last time I came here I rated them 3 stars but after this weekend's experience here I am forced to lower that rating. The place seems like it has not been cleaned for months. There was so much dust around the tables and specially around the siding that goes around. The utensils that I got where dirty and not washed properly. The coffee was weak and sort of watered down. I did not like the service either. The onl yreason I stuck around was because I like the taste of their breakfast food. I don't think I will be coming here again unless in under new management or have some sort of AMAZING deal. read more

Waited 45 minutes, 3 tables around us that were seated after us were already eating. Wait staff frazzled, not sure who's tables are who's. Front counter uninterested in the complaint, just said if you are leaving I can't do anything, no apology, just picked up his phone. Should have known when it too 15 minutes to get a straw. read more

Very disappointed. My son and I have been in to buy a dozen bagels and cream cheeses 4 times in the past week. 2 xs I walked in 1st time waited 10 mins for someone to come take my order. 2nd x owner I believe was on her cell didn't even look up. Then took a phone call order before taking my order. Today my son waited 15 mins and when he said he wanted a dozen bagels she took all 3 raisin cinnamon bagels out of the bin and when he asked for at least 2 she said NO. So he said no thanks and walked out. Service isn't good anymore and don't feel welcomed finished going here will go to robs in tamarac. At 15 bucks a dozen I can find better service and bagel choices I want. read more

Disappointed. New ownership and the service and the food got better. I was very happy and went in once or twice a week breakfast lunch Today I had an issue with being overcharged They charged me for coffee that was supposed to be free and they charged us $2 more for a meal nd the price was printed on the menu . When I inquired about it they said that's the way it is I can't change anything. I asked the waitress amd.she said that's the way it is we can't change anything. I ended up spending $6 more which was unnecessary. When I told the cashier and then I won't be coming back all she said was goodbye. The food is decent the service is horrible and you get overcharged I would try another place and the area such as New York Bagel, Alleys or Metro Diner. read more

i must say this is one of the best places to get bagels! my friends and i go to bagel host too every time we have a half day in school. The only down side to this restaurant is that they aren't open very late so i cant go get a bagel after school... other than that most def recommend bagel host too to any and all of my friends! read more

9000% my favorite breakfast in south florida. I have been going to Bagel Host Too for more than ten years with my family since I was a kid. I always get the same thing: rye bagel with chives cream cheese, home fries, and scrambled eggs. everything is sooooo fast and super delicious and if you want a true original diner meal support Bagel Host Too. I can't stress how grateful I am to have grown up with this place, it's one of my favorite parts of Sunrise. read more

Horrible. My friend had a corned beef sandwich on rye. The bread looked like a rye bread you'd find at a food mart. But worse was the "corned beef." It looked like Spam and my friend said that's what it tasted like. She ate 1/4 of it and left the rest. When I told the owner, she just shrugged and didn't say anything. So $12.99 for 2 bites of unidentifiable meat. read more

I love this place. Regardless of the other reviews, I've been hooked since my first visit! Yes it's an old location in a not very busy plaza but man o man they know their bagels! It's a cash only place and their utensils are all plastic which I don't mind at all! I think it's better to get plastic than a dirty silver wear. Great place, must try! read more

I hadn't been here in a while... Today I was picking up some bagels and came to their new location!!! Its in the same plaza but bigger and nicer location. I happened to have been their first customer and had no idea. I walked in a few minutes beforehand without knowing and they were so nice and customer service always good! read more

I assume this place was sold when it relocated across the plaza. Because it has gone way down hill. The food was good and the waitresses work very hard. But the place is totally disorganized. The older man sitting on the couch just tells you sit anywhere when there are no clean tables anywhere. They totally need more help here 2 girls working a 97 seat restaurant is horrible. No bus people, the cashier is the older guy who is too busy talking to some lady behind the counter to cash you out. Was totally ignored and after a 10 minute wait was given the wrong change. read more

Generic toasted bread masquerading as a bagel. Highly disappointing. This is a regular fried eggs, bacon, grits kind of place and there are much, much, much better bagels at other delis and cafes. Also, it was $5.69 for said sesame bagel with veggie cheese when they're better and cheaper at Brooklyn Water Bagel or at Sage Deli. read more

Bagel Host Too, also known now as BHT, was established 30 years ago here in the sunny City of Sunrise in the beautiful State of Florida. It is an operation that has been serving the community for decades and has served as a gathering place for our beloved community since then. We strive for top notch customer service and proudly offer a well-crafted and ever evolving Menu that only uses the best quality products -continuously supporting our local farmers and small local businesses which are the main source of our ingredients. Our commitment is to continue creating this beautiful story of family, community and inclusion that can only be found at BHT. I was able to get the kale Caesar with my plate, which I thought was excellent. It had the right amount of dressing on it. I do plan on returning to try the salmon. The prices are reasonable and they have a full bar and live entertainment some evenings. Hideaway's is a unique experience; and a fun place to gather. It's easy to get to from anywhere in Plantation and there's lots of free parking. I'm hoping that Hideaways is here to stay!

It is clear that the majority of patrons come much later in the day, like after 9 PM, to get bottle service listening to a DJ or any other performer. This would explain why the air conditioning was cranked so high, to accommodate the bodies and electricity that would pack the place much later. Like I said, going during the day when there are only about 5 other parties dining seems to be the move for prompt service and food preparation. The dishes came out super hot and fresh. The Creole Seafood Omelette ($26) was chock full of well seasoned shrimp and lobster and cheese, with a creamy roux on the side that was good to occasionally dip a bite into but wasn't necessary all the time. The potatoes that came on the side were just the right amount of crispy while leaving some heartiness to them. The Fried Chicken and Waffles ($26) included flavorful fried chicken with breading that didn't quit when you tore it or cut into it. The cool part of this dish is the choice you have of the waffle it comes with. The Cookies and Cream Waffles should be your go-to. They were topped with the chocolate cookie sandwich crumbles and a great homemade vanilla icing. For a Lauderhill establishment in an area where you really don't know of anything else happening, this place is worth a venture out for your brunch. I'd go back to try the other items and drinks!

For $10 more you can get Megan's High Tea which also includes a slice of quiche, a cup of soup and champagne, a mimosa or fruit juice. We opted for the Megan's High Tea and I'm so glad we did. The spinach/feta quiche and the carrot ginger soup were both very good. My mimosa was perfect and was the perfect accompaniment for the finger sandwiches. The scones were warm right out of the oven and were so delicious that I'm still thinking about them a day later. I really enjoyed all the finger sandwiches with their different fillings, it's hard to pick a favorite. The tea was perfect the hardest part was picking one from the vast array of choices. They also have a cute little gift shop area that's worth checking out. Among the things they sell are a nice selection of assorted teas. I can't recommend this place enough and like I said, Brian will do whatever it takes to make sure you have a memorable experience.
