I have been to the other location up the road on Main. Decided to try this new location. The decor is close to the other location but not the same level of overall effort but a nice ambiance. The most important part was we showed up about 10 min before they closed. We were welcomed and seated and several times were told no rush and take out time. The food was very good as always. I tried the south waffler to be different and kill any diet plans i had and we tried the california Benedict. I can recommend both If you are looking for breakfast give them a try and the good news is they are nice to you even if you show up 10 min before they close. read more

One of my favorite brunch places around this area. My go to dish is the brisket and grits skillet, to simply explain this the only reason I started eating grits was because of this place, they have an amazing brisket and grits. Their burritos are really great and huge, just a bit messy, but the sauce that goes on top can be taken off if you like to eat your burritos with your hands. Definitely recommend this place. Absolutely love this place! We have been by twice now, and really enjoyed our meals both times. We don't live in the Frisco area, so we can only come by when we are in the area for some other reason, but it is definitely on our list of favorite breakfast/bruch places. The servers are always friendly, the coffee keeps on coming, and the food is homey, delicious, and filling! We have had the chicken fried steak, migas, french toast, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns and have enjoyed all of it. What a great breakfast/brunch spot, every visit has been an enjoyable experience. I'm addicted to the apple pecan French toast! Each time we've come, our service has been fast and friendly. The coffee is awesome as well and they've never let my cup go empty, which I appreciate as someone who has a few cups during breakfast. Stumbled upon this place to kill time before going to Scheels. I'm not really a breakfast person; so I don't usually don't usually go unless they offer lunch or more savory options. This place was very busy; but even with waiting we were sat within 5 minutes. The service was good and the menu options were nice. The menu had the usual staple breakfast items. My husband ordered the Heavenly Hash and I ordered the Avocado Toast. Our kids split the kids chicken tenders and biscuits. The biscuits were just amazing; so fluffy! The kids meal was very large and the kids didn't complain. The heavenly hash was very tasty and my avocado toast was so delicious. Probably the most creative and tasty spin on avocado toast I've had. I really hate when you pay over $10 for just avocado on toast and nothing else; so this was very satisfying. Portions are great and price point is great. Super cute spot! They leave that responsibility to a couple of kids who don't really understand the importance of seating larger groups (party of 5) who have been waiting for a long time over seating a single person who walked up and was sat immediately in a booth that could have easily sat the party of 5. I saw this happen 4 different times in the 25 minutes we waited for our table. The food and service were good. I would visit again, but only if I was in the area and didn't see a long wait to be seated. We traveled 20 miles to eat here and wouldn't probably do that again. read more

Barney's is my Sunday morning hangover breakfast place in TC. They serve big hearty breakfasts quickly, have plenty of menu options and they keep the coffee flowing. No they do not serve mimosas or Bloody Mary's but that keeps the wait time down for a table. They have freshly squeezed OJ which is great even without the Grey Goose. Their waffles are great, the Southwest skillet is yummy and the Migas are good too. However, my favorite that keeps me coming back is the Mediterranean omelet. It comes with thin slices of gyro meat, kalamata olives, tomato, onion, spinach & feta cheese. The flavors in this are incredible. It comes with two sides and it's so worth getting up early on Sunday just for this omelet. The restaurant gets busy although you won't have to wait too long for a table. Some of the seating is uncomfortable, like the tables for two near the kitchen entrance. Besides that, this is my fave bfast spot in TC right now. read more

Do yourself a favor and try any other place. I ordered the chicken and waffles, when I cut into my Chicken I notice it still looked pink so I cut off a few small pieces. My concern is that the French fries, waffle fries, and potato chips (not the bagged kind but more of a thin French fry) are all frozen products. Both were so delicious and great options for sweet or savory options. They both were also very filling. The pancakes are big and the order comes with 3 - had to take these to-go because it was a lot on top of the breakfast bowl. The coffee, like I said was delicious - I forgot to drink any of the water haha. The service was helpful with great recommendations and very friendly staff. First time trying out this place and it was great. My friend and I were greeted and seated right away, but also only because we went during the slow time cause apparently this place gets quite busy. Anyway, the restaurant is not too big, but it's a decent size, I really do love the interior though, it's simple but also classy. Now for the food, my friend and I both love our omelettes, plus, I love how for some entree's you get two, not just one, but TWO sides, which I thought was very nice. The omelettes were very tasty, although, it was a bit flatter and thinner than most omelettes I've had at other places, but here, they definitely don't go light on the stuffing, every inch of the omelette that I ate from had everything from inside it. The pancakes that I got as one of my sides, were very soft and fluffy and the the biscuits that my friend got as one of his sides, were very soft but also crispy at the same time, like I said, we both really enjoyed our food from here.
