Wanting to try new places this summer, we tried Barry Bagels. I had the everything bagel with egg salad. The everything bagel made it. Excellent!!! My mom had the corned beef on either wheat, grain or oat? Something like that. She said it was good, but we both agreed the everything bagel was where it was at!!! I went back and tried a toasted Asiago bagel with garden vegetable cream cheese...the veggie cream cheese is 100 times better than Panera!! Excellent. The sandwiches are a little pricey for the size. I got the smaller one (one scoop of egg salad vs. 2 scoops). Definitely a fan. read more

I am normally a very big supporter of Barry's in Dublin. I think their bagels are great and I've been there many times before my work day and I have their loyalty card. However, I was in the store this morning and ordered bagels for myself and my fiancé (two bagels total). The lady who prepared my meal gave me just my bagel and I politely reminded her that I also ordered another bagel. She rolled her eyes at me and said "you didn't say that!" I felt like I was causing her an inconvenience and she seemed VERY annoyed that I ordered more food (i.e spending more money). First time customer here. I've been wanting to try Barry's bagels and was in the area for an appointment so decided to swing by for an everything bagel with cream cheese and medium coffee. The bagel was fresh and delicious sliced like a sandwich with plenty of cream cheese. The coffee however was a miss. At the coffee station there was one size of to go lids but it didn't fit. I figured it wasn't that bad and walked out (my mistake). I spilled all over my car so went back and asked if they had lids in the back. The cashier informed me they don't but the soup lid fits. It kind of fit but not tight and coffee still spilled in my cup holder and the entire way I walked into work down my hand. She didn't say if they were out of lids or if they ordered the wrong size I'd hope they typically have lids that fit and it was an off day. 2 stars for the lid issue and the fact that I couldn't drink my coffee the entire way in the car on my commute. read more

Dublin deserves better. Just spent $20 on a specialty bagel, 1/2 dozen assorted bagels, and an "Onion Stick" with cream cheese. So far, so good. Food quality was "Mehh". The capers for my lox bagel came out of a poorly packaged container and were floating in a quart of greenish liquid. When the boy finished fishing them out of the liquid with a plastic spoon, he threw the spoon into a trash can 3 feet away. The whole experience was unappetizing. Line service was poor. No welcoming smiles...instead the boys just stood there, saying nothing until one finally blurted out "What do you want". No attempt to help understand the menu or guide to a selection...no management to be seen. With the excellent Bruegger's bagels so close by, they had better step their game up quickly. read more

I usually would not write a negative review but I can't help it. I preface this with saying that I grew up on Barry's, I knew Barry, I spent every Saturday or Sunday morning there growing up so I know what to expect. Barry would be disgusted. It started with nobody knowing what corned beef is after they tried to give me roast beef, ham, pastrami and turkey before figuring it out. I had to repeat my order more than 3 times because they didn't pay attention to what you said to them. They don't have Russian dressing anymore as they said "nobody orders it and it's a waste of money." Then take it off the menu instead of talking to me like I'm an idiot. Next...no Cole slaw. Are you serious? It's a staple at Barry's. I hear they changed management. It's awful. Barry's son needs to get back here and give some attention to this place before it goes under. They are expanding too much to give the attention to current stores. They only get 2 stars because the bagels are still the best! read more

This morning got a call to grab bagels and coffee from Barry Bagels for work. I did not have time to call ahead. The location is under new management, and wow! the service I got!!!! It was absolutely awesome! So helpful, patient, and willing to brew a fresh carryout coffee without any issues or attitude. Got five miles down the road and Billy called to say they forgot my cream cheese. Instead of having to drive back to Dublin, he met me at my location. Barry Bagels has a great selection of super fresh bagels and cream cheese! I got a dozen (using a Groupon), and am really pleased! The bagels are fresh, soft/chewy on the inside, not too hard on the outside, and stay good after a few days (and definitely better than Brueggers)! The staff is helpful- they gave me some bags to freeze my bagels at home. I think my favorite is the Salt bagel! I usually go for Egg, but I didn't see any when I was there. read more

My husband and I visited this place for the first time as we had a bogo coupon with the entertainment book. I have been to this strip many times, but have somehow overlooked this hidden gem! I love this place usually and frequent often. Today I had a unpleasant experience and am still pissed off. These new employees have no customer service skills. If someone orders online it should be filled if not there should be an apology.... today one was like let me go check on that for you and never came back to address why it wasn't filled. So a guy started to make it. I asked for a GF wrap apparently that is difficult so they both proceeded to help the two people behind me. When I first entered I was the only customer they had. It took over 20 minutes for my order to be made. I ended up just having egg and cheese on a wrap because the meat I wanted was out. No turkey or turkey pastrami. So I said just egg and cheese is fine then so then he asked on the wrap?! Like what? Some people have allergies and are unable to have bagels. I'm annoyed honestly had I know it was going to be like this I would have made breakfast at home. My other experiences were amazing I just think the owners needs to be aware that they need to check these new employees. I doubt I will go back. read more

I've ordered through DoorDash many times - but today was the 1st time I ordered lunch from them. It was great! Sandwich was normal size, not small. The rice crispies treat was HUGE and delicious! The fountain drink that came was 1) the right flavor and 2) a large size drink which is worth the price - other places charge large prices for small cups. The combo of DoorDash and Barry's Bagels is a winner. We will definitely be ordering from them again for office events, and on days like today when I can't get out of the office and need to eat. OH! And when you order bagels & ask for them be slice them - they don't throw a fit like other places do. I enjoy their bagels. The issue I have is,when I place an online order, I am always shorted a bagel or two. I normally order a dozen or two at a time. The order is ready when I arrive but I make the mistake by not checking it. I was there today and picked up my online order for 2 dozen bagels. Got home to find 2 bagels missing. This place is sub par at best. Bagels are small and exoensive. The bagel was tiny and the cream cheese coverage was weak. I also noticed that the parking spots in front of the store we taken yet there was nobody in the dining room which leads me to believe the staff took the front parking spots. Exceptional bagels! Very welcoming employees, all smiles and eager to help. Better than any of the other bagel shops in greater Columbus. I ordered an everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese and it was perfection. The bagel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; bacon was crispy and delicious; egg was fluffy and the cheese was perfectly melted on. House coffee blend was mellow, very tasty.
