After 20 minutes of waiting and watching at least four empty tables that were ready for customers sit there being empty we left. We found The Elwood which was just as busy but was seated immediately. I really don't see myself going to this location again.

Drove 40 minutes to eat here. Tried other locations and was great. Service was terrible. Could not feel more rushed and unwelcome.

When we first walked it it took awhile for someone to notice us and seat us. However, the staff was friendly and professional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is welcome and nice to sit and enjoy with who ever you are there with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It doesn't have its own parking lot atleast from what I noticed. There was parking right next to the building that was $6. We pretty much all ordered the same thing. They give you a menu and a dry erase marker and you can build your burger or salad. We ordered a double smash burger with American cheese and tots. It was good, however I do like mine cooked medium and it was more like on the well cooked side. I definitely recommend eating here if you're ever in Detroit.

We took 2 seats at the bar before a Tigers game this past weekend. Amanda took care of us and she was great! Very helpful and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant seemed clean and the bathrooms were as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the BYO Wagyu Burger with sunny egg, crumbled blue cheese, blue cheese dressing, red onion, spring mix, pickled jalapeño, side of Frank's. I was disappointed they didn't have fresh jalapeño, but that's a personal preference. Burger came with iceberg lettuce, not spring mix. Not a big deal. It was good and cooked to order (medium rare). My Husband ordered the BYO Double Smash Burger and fries. He added pepper-jack cheese, chili, and queso to his burger. It looked really good and he said he enjoyed it. He ordered his medium and that's how it was served. The fries were great! We also tried their "Faygo Bomb". Fun and delicious! We've never been let down here. Thank you!!!

Looking for some bites and beer upon arriving in Detroit, we found this place a block from our hotel. How convenient! We were seated at the bar and had fantastic service by Aubrey. We weren't expecting much from bar food but were pleasantly surprised with the Chicken Caesar Salad. It was huge and fresh and tasty. The beer battered fries were also delicious and cheap ($4). [[HIGHLIGHT]]What a great place to perch and catch a game while enjoying some tasty grub, good beer and excellent service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Wow . This is a place for burgers I made my own. Simple two patties mustard cheese I ate the entire thing.. I don't know how they get their burgers so tender but they were just delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a bright and fun atmosphere for the whole family[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ordered two build your own burgers; one large order of fries; Mountain Dew; mango lemonade to drink. One order came out as ordered; the second burger came to table with an additional topping not requested. Burger was sent back only to return with another additional topping not requested. This was the downside of the service. The burger all in all was pretty good. The Mac and cheese bites contain absolutely no Mac; just liquid cheese. The order process in regard to receiving what was actually ordered, which was where the service faulted. Also, be aware of the 9% gratuity automatically included. Which was another downside to this location. The server was not very attentive after placing the order. She disappeared for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. After receiving the order, she would then again disappear for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. If the service is not up to par, you should not automatically be responsible for paying a 9% gratuity. The amount of tip at that point should be strictly up to the customer; based on the service they received. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was that of a bustling restaurant; maybe at a medium Noise level.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The aforementioned is the reason for two stars. This location was not deserving of anything more. Not because of the taste of the food. But, the lack of Attentiveness to service. No goodwill gesture in response to the multiple mistakes with the unrequested toppings on the hamburger. I am a stickler for good service and this location did not provide that.

Flew in and hit this place up, given it was near my hotel - Burger and sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection - Came in a lil late, kitchen was on last call and they accommodated me, which I appreciated -

Love coming here. They even have my favorite drink right now the Long Drink. Place was super busy when we showed up said it would be a 50 minute wait, was seated about 25 minutes after so not too bad. Food was absolutely delicious. Tator tots were amazing . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was clean and staff was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We were greeted at sat promptly. Our server came over a few minutes after we were seated. She told us about the standard menu and then about the custom Burger menu. We both opted for the custom burgers and split a full side of the Sweet Potato Fries. The dip served with the fries was a cinnamon butter sauce - it was soooo good! The burgers were cooked perfectly - the brioche buns were nicely toasted - so much flavor with these burgers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was pretty loud inside. This was to be expected as it's the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lighting was nice in the dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restrooms were clean, but they were out of soap.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do add a service charge to the bill, no matter the party size.

Great service from Katelyn and really good food. I had the Waygu burger with sweet potato fries and cinnamon butter - wow where has that been all my life? Definitely worth coming by here!

I'm so happy I stopped here! Cause I'm definitely coming back for another round of burger I ate it so fast! It came out the kitchen fast as well! Nice and hot and full of flavor! I built my own burger through the menu and the brought it to life! Also not to mention the whole decor going on in there! There were games to play, plenty of seating, clean everything, and the ambiance was just wonderful like I said I'm coming back soon

Have been a few times with the hubs while staying across the street for the Lions games. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place to grab something to eat when getting into town![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sat in the bar - service was good, staff were sweet and beer selection is nice. Love the choices to build your own burger - the fried pickle/mac and cheese bite combo on wagyu was a winner for me with onion rings! When ordering the tots, load those things up!! We'll always be back!

We arrived smack in the middle of the lunch rush with a queue out to the door but it did move quickly. The menu board has some suggestions for their pre-designed salads, bowls, burritos and smoothies. Or you can "build your own" on the fly and like Subway and Chipotle (but way better!), they add the ingredients as it goes down the line. I decided to stick with the "Kare Bear" - Romaine base with BBQ chicken, hard-boiled egg, bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and red onion with their ranch sauce. It sounds like a Cobb Salad to me. I watched the young lady assemble the ingredients and toss it together then pour it into a cardboard bowl. $15.25 plus tax. Remember to grab a fork if you don't already have one at your desk. It was a bit too busy to eat in today and it was a bit too warm to sit outside. So we brought it back to the office where I demolished this huge and delicious salad. It's not cheap but it is fresh and it feels healthy. I would absolutely choose 7 Greens again for lunch. Parking is tricky in this area of downtown so I parked further away and walked. The exterior of the restaurant is what draws your eye first - it's very welcoming. Once inside, you are surrounded by high ceilings, beautiful decor, and spacious seating. We were seated at a table next to the open wall-window so it felt like outside (they do have outside seating as well). Our server was highly knowledgeable about both the drink and food offerings. She made lots of suggestions and helped us to make our choices. For a drink, they made me a Mule - it didn't have as much ginger beer as a typical Mule but that was okay - it was very refreshing. We started with hummus as an appetizer for the table. They offer different toppings with it but we went with the basic that came with pita and a small side of tuom. They make fresh pita all night long so it was hot when it arrived. Their hummus is the most fluffy and creamy I've ever had. It was a taste delight! I chose the Shish Tawook for my entree. The chicken was grilled and smelled amazing! It came with a few vegetables, rice, and a small side of tuom. It was so good! Due to the freshness of all the food, I did not feel weighed down or listless after eating, which is a good sign of healthy prepared food. Now that I know of another great choice in Detroit, I'll be bringing family and friends to this place in the future. The ambience was warm and welcoming, service was top notch, and the food was amazing!

The only thing I didn't like was that they boxed my food for me, but she didn't pack my whole plate. She left out the pita that was on my dish. I also would have loved to take home the rest of our hummus appetizer, but she took it without asking if we wanted it. We asked our server for more pita and she brought it to us no problem. However, we were a group of three and she brought out three slices of pita all in one tinfoil pack... they also brought out all of our leftovers in one bag. It just felt odd that at a high end restaurant they didn't double check. I would rather box up my own food than have you waste the food I was eating. And my own bag is helpful if I need to bring home a random slice of pita because there isn't enough tinfoil to go around ...

We read and watched…read morereviews from a bunch of places and decided to see what the excitement was about Michigan & Trumbull. We researched the menu and decided to order ahead so that we could maximize our travel time. We arrived, and there was a small parking lot which was great since we had my elderly mother with us. I think there may have been additional parking across the street. We noticed there were picnic tables outside where people were eating pizza and upon walking in to pick up our pizza, we saw some limited indoor seating. We went to sit in a booth and were abruptly told that seating is not for "carry out customers," but we were welcome to sit outside. Ok? Their website said nothing about there being any seating, and after traveling four hours, we would have enjoyed some drinks and maybe some side dishes in addition to our pizza if the employees weren't so rude. They didn't even ask if we'd like to order something additional. So, we went outside to eat. The pizza was good, but honestly, nothing special. We ALWAYS order a cheese pizza so we can truly compare it to other pizzas. We ordered extra mozzarella on our cheese, and I'm unsure of how much cheese they normally put on a cheese pizza, but the extra cheese was no more than the other pizzas we ordered. We also ordered a pepperoni which had to the good little pepperonis that curl up. Yum! In addition we ordered a specialty pizza called "The Long Drive Home." It had vodka sauce, sausage and banana peppers. This was a crowd favorite. The sausage has incredible flavor and combines really well with the peppers and vodka sauce. I personally love vodka sauce. This one wasn't creamy like you find on pasta, but was good. Finally we did a white pizza with all cheese, ricotta and black pepper. It was also good. The garlic aioli could have a little more flavor. Not sure if there wasn't enough to taste it or if it just needs more seasoning. So, overall, the pizza is nothing special and I would recommend going for the special toppings before worrying about the extra cheese. The ambiance of the restaurant is that of many city restaurants--small, loud, nothing fancy. The picnic tables were fine. Thankfully it was not too hot and we were able to enjoy our time.
