Ordered a waffle cone with one scoops and he let us know that if we got double scoops, the waffle cone was free! No brainer! Bring on the double scoops, baby! Steve took our orders and confirmed them both with "I got you!", piled on the ice cream, service with a smile! AND gave us a coupon for our next visit! We sat and ate our ice cream in store. Observed and watched the place as the line grew. There were 2 other employees in store with Steve. All the interactions with customers were friendly and engaging. When we left the store, I let Steve know that his exemplary service made this out of towner smile :) Mahalo, Steve! Sometimes they'll come out with seasonal flavors that are questionably different, but a fun switch up to their normal everyday flavors. The classic flavor I always get is the cotton candy or sherbet. They've incorporated many different types of ice cream products such as cakes, shakes, and sundaes. I'm not sure if it's new, but I believe they used to let you choose between a cup or a cone, but nowadays a cone cost something unfortunately. Prices have significantly gone up ranging about $5 for a single scoop. This place is awesome!! I'm sad it doesn't have better reviews. It's nostalgic and a family favorite. The place was lively with parents and their kids and bright colors. If you are a Mint Choco fan I think this place has the best Mint Choco ice cream. It's a chain I know but hear me out. The chocolate chips are like mini shards shreds and they're so delicious in texture and taste with the mint. It's also not a super saturated green color either. Their stuff can be pricey but if you go with family or friends you can team up and get a banana split or 3 scoop combo. The service is nice!! It wasn't particularly hot that day, but anytime is great for ice cream! So many flavors to choose from and service was awesome! The lady that helped me out was efficient and friendly. My favorite flavors changed constantly as a kid but mint chocolate chip is the one that stuck. My parents loved rocky road and jamocha when I was growing up. I had a pink phase that caused me to order rainbow sherbet for a year or so. Butter Pecan is still pretty good. And America's birthday cake with cake pieces & bright blue ribbon? Oh yeah! We went to this Baskin-Robbin's last night around 5pm. We were greeted with "hello's" from all 3 employees. Then were helped by the sweetest employee, Emily! She asked us if we like to sample anything, and of course my husband jokingly said everything. She went along with him and laughed. She proceeded to take our order and was just incredibly friendly, which is rare these days!!!! I really would like her to get some recognition for her extremely positive and happy personality!!! Came to this Baskin Robbins for the first time today and it smelled so good inside! That wonderful vanilla waffle cone smell is unbeatable. I got 2 scoops, my favorite the Love Potion #31 and a new flavor I had not tried before, the Triple Mango. For sure the mango is going to be my new favorite. It was really so so good. The scoops looked big when she was scooping them, and I got really excited, but then when she handed me my cone the scoops looked kind of small....is the glass case somehow like a magnifying glass? Horrible staff here. They do not even try to act like they care about the customers one bit. I came by around 9:30pm (about 30 mins before closing) and they were mopping the floor, messing around, splashing each other with the hose. I understand when stores are getting ready to close shop, but this was a whole nother story. Floor was wet from the mopping with no caution sign and even when we were coming in, staff said nothing nor did they stop mopping. We tried to order a milkshake and they said it was too late to make milkshakes because they were closing in 30 minutes. Not sure if that's an actual rule across all BR's but doesn't make sense to me since there were 0 customers at this moment and I'm sure it takes small effort to get the blender going. Got scoops of ice cream since that was our only option now. While paying at the register, one of the guys working kept whispering in the cashier's ears to distract him, poking at him, etc. A few other customers came in and they were still acting like this. If I could give no stars I would. I am not sure why I continue to come to this location. Maybe because it is close to home? After this visit today I will not be coming back. I was helped by Uriel and right off the bat I could tell he wasn't happy to be helping us. The other employee that was there was busy helping someone else and he told Uriel to help my son and I. He proceeded to take our order, which was one single scoop which he took care of. Then he asked if I wanted anything else I said yes can I get 2 milkshakes one vanilla and the other mint chocolate chip. He seemed a bit confused and I repeated myself. Once done with the milkshakes he asked if that was it, I said no I would like to order one more strawberry shake and a Banana Royale. He shook his head as if he were annoyed and asked if I wanted the shake the same size as the others, I answered no I would like a large. At this point he nodded his head as he was annoyed and at that point I was annoyed and upset because he was making me feel as if I were a bother, to the point that I didn't even tell him anything about the wrong flavored milkshake just to avoid his expressions of annoyance since we had been getting them since he started taking our order. I told him never mind just charge me for what I have ordered and I will go to another Baskin Robins for the Strawberry Shake and the Banana Royale. He was quick to charge me and he all of a sudden did not seemed annoyed. He was more than happy to charge me and send me on my way to another location. I said it out loud about two times that I will be going to another location and he seemed careless that I was going to another location. At this point I was felt like saying something but I just took what I ordered and went on my way. Unfortunately I wasn't going to be his last costumer because out of no where multiple people came into get ice cream. I hope management does something about the service at this store as it has not been the first time I walk in feeling like I am a bother to the employees. The person serving us seemed like he was being punished working there. I recognize the demeanor in students who have after school detention... After using my gift cards, one had money left on it. They returned the wrong card, one with $0 balance. I asked if it was the correct card, as I had used 3. The two people serving me said "yes", but didn't check.... About a minute later one of them came out of the store and gave me the card which had a balance on it.... I guess they decided to check. Worse Baskin Robbins we have ever been to as far as customer service is concerned. Went in on a Tuesday night around 8pm and were the only customers there. There was no one up front. To their credit, they came out from the back after a minute. The person that came out had literally no expression, no greeting, no nothing. They just looked at us and waited for us to give them our order. We ordered a drink, a one scoop sundae, and two one-scoop cones. As we told them our 3rd and 4th items (the ice cream cones) the worker sighed as if we were inconveniencing them. We were literally the only people there! There was no line, nothing! Tried to make some small talk with the worker but they were like a robot with no response, no expression, nothing. They didn't put anything on the sundae and just sat there after they scooped the ice cream waiting for us to instruct them that we would like the marshmallow topping, whipped cream and almonds. Not even a thank you or good bye after we paid. Would have preferred talking to a robot, probably would've had more personality. So far so good now. Been to this Baskin near valley fair in Santa Clara thrice in a month now. I always purchase 3 quarts of different flavors at $18.99 and a cone of freshly made waffle cone at $1.30 I think. Anyway, the couple owners are manning the store now and are training new staff. It's cheaper if you buy 3, the lady owner said but it's not written or advertised. I tried different flavors by scoop before and although the servers weren't so helpful, I will give the store a chance again. Been a life long costumer at Baskin-Robbins but after our last experience at this location that's going to change. My husband went in asking for our usual ice cream cake, the reps provided him with the said cake, I tasted the cake at home and it was not what he had ordered. So we immediately take it back where the manager tried to convince my husband the cake is what he asked for but when he let her know that we did a taste try she got flustered saying she doesn't know what to do and maybe she needs to call the owner but then refusing to call the owner. We spent $56.00 on the cake but she reimbursed us with 2 small ice cream containers where I would've been satisfied with a store credit. Um... I noticed different locations have different sizes in terms of single scoop and double scoops. This location seems to have downsized the scoop. Sadly after a lifetime of this being my home base 31 flavors, I won't be returning. I paid $8 for a small cookies and cream milkshake to cheer my boyfriend up and treat him after a rough week. He was appreciative but let me know it tasted like milk. He's lactose intolerant so although he loves a milkshake, it wasn't worth the pain for him to drink a glass of milk. COVID cesspool. Way way too many people in the store. No distancing at all. Hot in the store and it is not hot outside which means terrible AC which means terrible airflow. Took my daughter to this location for a birthday ice cream celebration. Was shocked at how rudely we were treated. There were several customers in the store and one person was helping someone the other was finishing with someone. The younger guy walked past us to help people that had just come into the store. I tried to say excuse me that we were next and the older lady screamed at me that I had to wait for her. She said she didn't have any help and that I had to wait for her. I was confused and mortified that I was screamed at by an employee that was supposed to be providing me customer service. Went into the store today because I ordered a cake, however, there was a mix-up and mistake by me and I ordered the cake to be ready at 9:45 pm instead of 9:45 am. The lady was nice and said she would make it but would take an hour but could accommodate the mixup. I was super appreciative as I had very little time and had to rush to get to the birthday party. I asked her if I could pick a premade cake and pay the difference since I was in a rush and she was able to get me checkout and in my car within 5 minutes of walking into the store (including writing the birthday message on the cake).
