    corn beef hash benedict

A breakfast spot we tried. Waited about half hour. Staff were really friendly. The matcha pancakes were tasty and fluffy. The corn beed hash Benedict was a little salty but all together with potato counter balanced it. The place had a lot of seating and it was a packed house. Would def try again if in the area.

Great breakfast, service and ambiance! I been here a few times and I've always enjoyed myself. I've been getting the volcano scramble lately and it's bussing!!!

Met up with a friend here and it was a good experience. Heard about it before. Was on my radar but then just forgot about it. I don't live close but was in the area so it seems as it was meant to be. Get there early or you might find yourself waiting for a table. My buddy actually beat me there. That's saying something. If you know me, then you know I'm usually always early. Anyway, as we were seated, we could see a line forming waiting for a table. Decent menu of various breakfast items. I grabbed the omelet. See pics. Delicious. Hearty. But not so heavy that I was in a food coma. Hot sauce was provided but didn't need it as the flavors of the ingredients were enough to satisfy my taste buds. Service was decent as well. It could be that we were seated close to the register so that the staff could see if we needed or wanted something. Refills without asking - even continued with the refills after we were just sitting catching up. This was with people waiting for a table. I felt a little guilty but the staff didn't mention anything so we just hung out. It's a diner feel, with both indoor and outdoor seating. A large group can fit but I believe its first come, first served so I'd try to make it early so tables can be configured for the group. If I lived closer, I could see myself popping in from time to time. But, it's so far so it'll just have to be, the next time it's meant to be.

The menu definitely has options for everyone - whether your a pancake, french toast, or waffle lover! The syrup isn't too sweet which I like. Big portions. Great customer service. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Stopped by on a Friday around 10am; our group of 5 was seated immediately. The pancake flavor selection is INSANE - so many tasty flavors (even black sesame and matcha!!). We got the black sesame and added on lemon ricotta for the table. Pancakes themselves are fluffy, but it's really the toppings that carry. Friend and I split BeaBea's omelet, which was alright. Came w hashbrowns, and we added on some saisage. Overall, comprehensive pancake flavors, but we felt the other breakfast items were alright. Efficient service.

Came at lunch time on a Saturday around 1 pm. It was busy but we still we were able to find a table. Place is loud but that's a good sign usually because I'm hoping the food is good. Ambiance is very basic. I ordered the lox Benedict. Gf ordered the cornflake French toast. Food was solid, not great. Service was excellent.

My husband and I walked in to Bea Bea's around 8:15 on a weekday and were seated right away. The parking is a big lot that the restaurant shares with several other stores, and was very easy to find. We decided to split the volcano scramble and matcha pancakes. The scramble was very good! I liked the mix of ingredients and the tortilla strips added a nice crunchy texture. The matcha pancakes were delicious as well, and very filling. I could probably do with an even stronger matcha flavor. Prices were a bit expensive so it's a nice place to splurge on once in a while.

We've been meaning to try this place for a while but there's always a long wait whenever we call since it's so popular during peak times (weekend brunch etc.) We ended up going for lunch on a Friday so there was plenty of seating. We ordered a breakfast quesadilla, loco moco, and split a crepe. Everything was excellent! The crepe was a bit more like a thin pancake than an actual crepe but it was really good. The parking is really easy too which is helpful. The only drawback is it can be a bit pricey. Our meal for 2 came out to $100 which seemed steep for brunch.

My friend and I were looking for a place to meet up for brunch today and she recommended Bea Bea. This location is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. We went around 11 and there was just a little 15 minute wait. I ordered the Volcano Scramble with Chicken and no tortilla strips, and a Thai tea latte. She ordered pancakes and eggs and bacon. She said the pancakes were light and fluffy. And I loved my volcano scramble. I love the heat with the jalapeño and the chilies, especially the verde salsa. The Thai latte was really good but a little sweet. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. Definitely add this place to your bookmark.

I love coming here, this time I got a SWEET breakfast, and this time I made sure to enjoy it!! My wife has always ordered these and i usually eat some the following day but this time I wanted to try them fresh, and I can honestly say, they are worth it. Ever looking for a sweet treat for breakfast, start here with the green tea monster pancakes, definitely recommend them!!!

This was a nice little diner - come for the pancakes because its what they do best honestly :) My family and I ordered the pancakes (obviously) and found their many options to all taste pretty good! Their breakfast foods are also good but I wouldnt sing any praises on their eggs being better than the next place, let's put it that way. The service is pleasant. These are locals to Burbank and therefore friendly, because most patrons are also Burbank neighbors. It's not upscale or themed, but very standard limit of Diner; which is misleading when you compare it to their awesome pancake options. I would come here if you haven't already. This is a good spot for breakfast! Pancakies!

We decided to have breakfast here with some friends. The wait was reasonable, about 15 minutes for a party of four. They do not accept reservations. The host was friendly. The aesthetics of the place is plain but it is bustling with people. Took over 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order. In the meantime, one of the managers (a pleasant Asian woman) brought us our coffee. We ordered the Kin's Sunshine, the BeaBea's Omelet, the California Omelet and the Heart-to-Heart Omelet. The French toast for my Kin's Sunshine order looked great but was flavorless. The rest really liked their omelets. Why not 5 stars? The waiter. As another Yelper noted about the waiters here, he was simply an order taker. All he said to us the entire time was "are you ready to order" and never saw him again. Other people brought the food and the bill. Will we be back? Maybe.

We were told by your waiter that vegans have ordered the potatoes, though they're typically prepared with butter. Are the vegan pancakes and tofu scramble prepared with butter or more vegan friendly oil options?

The vegan pancakes and tofu scramble don't use any type of animal butter, the oil is also vegan friendly.

    Is there reservations available?

No. They have a waitlist, first come first served. I would recommend getting there early as it's a pretty popular spot!

How can we make a reservation? They aren't answering their phone nor do they have a voicemail.

You don't need a reservation. It's walk in only. There may be a wait time but it's well worth it!

Going in to Forman's Whiskey Tavern, I had 5 choices from the menu that looked amazing to me: 1. TAVERN SALAD with manchego, apple, candied pecans, and a champagne vinaigrette. 2. GRILLED CHEESE sweetened with butternut squash and a sage brown butter. 3. TAVERN (Impossible) BURGER with avo, arugula, pickled onion, and honey mustard dressing. 4. BISTRO (Impossible) BURGER which is like the French Onion Soup of burgers on a challah bun. 5. PATTY MELT, but I'd let my carnivorous side indulge with beef vs. Impossible meat. Thankfully the menu special that greeted me at the front door reaffirmed my choice that I should choose a burger. The Weekday Special from 12-3pm: Any Burger or Sandwich, Side of Fries or House Salad, and a pop was just $16. Plus, the bartender encouraged me that the burgers are really good. So the TAVERN BURGER with Impossible meat, a side green salad, and a lemonade needed no coin toss for me to be decisive. Ordering my meal at the bar was easy, there was no line, and service was quick. I loved that it was chill for a mid-week lunch hour. However, I imagine it gets busy later on in the afternoon and during a non-holiday week. Most of LA was already heading out to campsites for the 4th of July week from what it seemed. Beyond the burger, I really loved the fun decor. Inside, it felt like a Southern Hunting Lodge with its trophies hanging on the wall. Outdoors, it had my kind of charm with its lush greenery, flowering blooms, rustic decor, and picnic-style benches that felt like you're in someone's backyard. I'm sure the big tree in the center helps make the twinkle lights amazing at night. Plus, if you bring your furry friend (service dog) then the outdoor patio is a nice place to chill, and there's a bowl of fresh water just for them. As for drinks, there are plenty of beer choices on tap from Old Rasputin Stout to IPAs. Malbec and Opolo Zin looked enticing too. Since this is a Whiskey Tavern, there are lots of options ranging from low to high-end spirits to choose from. I recommend you take a peek at their menu beforehand to avoid deliberating for a while before choosing the one that speaks to you.

The temperature, the music (80s), the furnishings (brick, stone, glass, metal, wood -- all top quality), the plants, and the service were exceptional.
