Well toot my horn, this place is one for the books! This is my favorite local deli to get my meat fix in, hang with good people, and enjoy their amazing selection of craft beer on tap. Not only is the service accommodating and quick, but those blondies behind the counter are sure good looking!!! If you like to spice up your life I recommend the Sunburn sandwich.. and if you're feelin extra hot, add those jalapeños. Just make sure you're not on a date when ordering that one... If you're into something more healthy I enjoy the Surfin Bird as a lettuce wrap! Gotta get them greens in too, you know? 3.5 Stars! This place has a really cool atmosphere, with a small bar area facing a large TV (ideal for playoff season) and a nice outdoor patio. Their menu is extensive and they have tons of hot & cold sandwiches, and about 8-9 beers on tap. I decided to go with the Shark Bait (hoo ha ha). I was intrigued by the cream cheese on all the sandwiches, but when mine came out there was just a glob of cream cheese in the middle. Because they cut the sandwich in half, it was pretty clear to see that they didn't spread the cream cheese at all. An easy fix, obviously - I just grabbed a knife and did it myself, but unfortunately the cream cheese flavor was overpowering. My friend also thought the same of his turkey sandwich, although admittedly they packed way more cream cheese onto his. If you're unsure of the cream cheese, do yourself a favor and forgo it or request it light. Other than the cream cheese, I thought the price was a bit high for the size of the sandwich, which is why I knocked off a few more points. My friends got the reuben, though, and I thought it was delicious, so maybe I'll be back! read more

Hands down the best sandwich spot I have ever been to in California. Actually, I can't remember being to a better one anywhere. The freshest ingredients you can imagine. Perfect bread. This was my first time visiting this place and i am a fan!! So After sitting in the parking lot looking thru their menu online deciding what to get, I finally went inside and ordered their The Pig Kahuna sandwich. There were only 2 other customers there, it was only 5pm on a Sunday so I guess it was still slow. I really like the design inside, it's not a big place. As u walk in, there is a little arcade machine on the leftside and a couple booths, each with a 13" TV mounted on the wall, which is pretty neat. Then there were one or two high tables further down. Then on the right side there is a bar with a huge TV mounted on the wall. I could imagine this place would be a cool place to hang out on a busy night, I heard they have live music playing on a Friday night or so. So I didn't wait too long for my sandwich, which was good. When I saw my pig kahuna sandwich once I got home, my mouth already started watering, the pineapples on top with the nice and warm pulled pork. Every bite of the sandwich was delicious, a little spicy but not too much, which I like. I like it how tender and juicy the pulled pork was, and the sauce was just perfect!! Solid sandwiches. Veggies are crisp, meat and cheese are plentiful and they don't skip on the condiments. They are pretty quick during the lunch time rush also. The 2 stars is due to service and interaction with the staff. I grabbed a sandwich there on 8/16 and the 2 customers before me ordered and sat down, I ordered then more than 10 min later another customer came in. The first customers and last customer received their orders so I went up to the counter to check on mine. The young blonde lady was very rude and let me know they had lots of orders before I came in and they did not try to hurry or sooth over the situation. It took over 20 min to get a cold sandwich and potato salad and I could have done without the attitude on top of that. The company I work for sometimes caters from there, I will suggest we no longer patronize Beach hut. Watching the girl scoop potato salad out of a carton with her had was really unappetizing as well. Ooooh this place is so nomalicious! It's hard to find a place that makes realllllly good sandwiches when you're a vegetarian since they're not loaded with 80 slices of deli meat, and luckily I have found Beach Hut for my sandy's. I've went twice in 4 days because it was THAT good. I got the Monterey; it's cream cheese, avocado, sprouts, and red onion (I got it without the tomatoes, pickles, and greek peppers) and my boyfriend got the Sunrise. We both ordered the "medium" size and that was a LOT of food. My boyfriend even said that it was almost too much meat, and then realized that is dumb, and ate it all. They both came on a french roll. The bread is so fresh and soft, and I love that they load up on the avocado! The slab of cream cheese just ties it all together. They have a big selection of those natural/"dirty" potato chips and regular fountain drinks to make it a combo. They also have a bar with 10 beers on tap, and happy hour specials. Every table had a TV, and I loved that they are made from surfboards (cue Beyonce "SURFBOARD!"). Supa dupa kewt. Both times I went I got take-out, and the person taking orders was friendly and helpful, since it was my first time there. Even though the line was long on my first visit during weekend lunch rush, my food came out in about 5 minutes. They have a bunch of different daily specials and happy hour (see my pictures). This place is LEGIT! Looking at some of these harsh reviews, I am literally laughing out loud. Come on guys, this is a sandwich shop. Stop nitpicking every little detail. When you find the perfectly sterile sandwich shop where everything is made in 15 seconds and the people kiss your ass for a $5 sandwich, please write a glowing review. In the mean time, if you want a chill atmosphere, lots of great beers on tap, more TV's than my ADD can handle, good looking women behind the bar, and absolutely EXCELLENT sandwiches and salads, this is your place. Each day they have different happy hour specials, so be sure to check the board when you are walking in. Heads up, parking can be a challenge if you come at a busy hour. But for the love of GOD- how do you charge $11 for a turkey melt that is the size of a grilled cheese sandwich? A medium sized sandwich (8") runs you $13-17 before any chips and drink. Per person, for a decent sized sandwich meal you're at $20. I don't know how the quality is comparable to Jersey Mike's, Firehouse subs, or Togo's for 3-4x the price?!? I just don't understand. Clearly they have been around for a long time so the demand is high enough to continue business at these prices but this amazes me! Great little spot here that I frequent because it is close to home. They have pretty good deals during Monday night football, Thursday night football, Saturday game day, Sunday football. They also have a ton of TVs to watch the games while you eat. Sandwiches are always solid, and they have a lot of selections with many different varieties. They have pretty good tap selection of beer too if you want to stop for a quick drink or get hamboned during the football games. Tried this place out recently after driving by it numerous times! I work right across the street and decided to eat my lunch there. Very cute decorations and it makes me feel like I'm back in Hawaii! It's funny that one of their sandwiches is called "haole" haha It was unfortunate that I couldn't order a beer because they have a nice selection, especially my fav, IPAs! Visited this place for the first time Friday evening. Really great customer service! What really sucked though was what I'm guessing is a regular. This guy had his dog on a leash but it was roaming around and getting in the way of some older gentleman and they asked him to control his dog. Then the regular started getting loud and confrontational with this elderly man. This experience made that gentleman and his friend leave prematurely and I doubt they'll come back. As for myself I probably won't either. I like places that are dog friendly but those clients need to have their pets under control. First sub place I've been to where I have to wipe my face every time I take a bite. The sub is way too big to fit in my mouth. Lots of high quality meat and ingredients. I love this place. I get a sandwich from here once a week (sometimes more). Beach Hut packs their sandwiches with meat unlike other sandwich places and the sandwiches are delicious.
