I visited Benjamin Steakhouse the other day. I started the meal with the Caesar salad, which was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. I know it's probably not the best thing to say about a steakhouse, but I would come back just for the salad! Moving on in the meal ordered the ribeye, It was cooked perfectly, but I found myself expecting the taste a little bland and just wish there was little more flavor given Benjamin's reputation. It was enjoyable, just not especially memorable to me. The Benjamin potatoes were good, though they reminded me of others I've had. Overall, a solid meal and certainly not a bad experience. Our server was attentive and professional always around when we needed him. Benjamin's didn't quite exceed my expectations Steak wise but I'd still consider coming back or trying other locations in the future.

Best place ever service and the food is always 5 stars ,would not ever have a steak anywhere else when I'm in Westchester. They make you feel at home. The staff is great, especially the hostesses Elizabeth and Rina.

Came to Benjamin steakhouse a couple of times already, seems like a local favorite, and not without reason. There is a big parking lot, seems like mandatory valet at this time, which we did not prefer, but it was fine. The restaurant itself is very spacious and we did not need to make a reservation for a weekend dinner, which was great. The service was good, no issues there. The steak is my favorite for the area, very similar to Peter Luger style, which we love. Got medium rare and it was very tender and delicious. The rest of the dishes, including beef tartare and lobster bisque, were all very classical, which we loved, no surprises there. We went to another steak house in the area recently with an unique flavor to their lobster bisque, which we actually did not prefer so it was nice that Benjamin had your classical flavors. Overall really enjoyed our experience and this will be our go to steakhouse!

Let me start by saying I have been to this restaurant multiple times now. Each time gets better and better. I was recently in and Granit was my server. Knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and attentive from beginning to end. They did not carry a particular dessert liquor and he went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. I appreciated his attention to detail. I will be returning soon and asking for Granit.

The steak (strip) was juicy, flavorful and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Benjamin's potatoes were crispy with fluffy interior.. Could have used a tad more seasoning. Spinach was delicious but would have been helped by a clove of minced garlic and a dollop of cream. Serve was attentive and dutiful. Place was super noisy and dimly lit--detracted from experience.

Food was ok, not superb. I've been to many steakhouses and this is one that I would not desire to come back to. Service wasn't the best but I presume that might have been due to it being on New Years Day.

We came here for their Hudson Valley Restaurant week, made reservation for a Sunday night, free valet parking, the restaurant was full at 7 pm. Check-in hostess was friendly & our server was professional & attentive. The Vespa martini to start was cold & crisp. Foods were delicious & the portions were plentiful. The $10 filet mignon upgrade is worth it, the NY sirloin is just the way I like it. We added a thick bacon app to share along with our included apps, the bacon was delicious. At dessert, the NY style cheesecake was outstanding. We shall return.

I highly recommend I wish there was an option to give 10 out of 10 I took my guy out for his birthday dinner. Made the reservation through OpenTable and the hostess and staff were able to accommodate the few requests I had made ahead of time. That was a nice welcome! The ambiance is very warm, cozy, lots of wood and bold decor as expected from an upscale steakhouse. The staff was attentive, courteous and quick but not so fast that plates of food piled up on the table. They watched and gauged their timing to bring each course out appropriately. The food was absolutely top notch! They actually season their food. The Lobster Mac, mashed potatoes and steaks were deliciously cooked to perfection. One critique would be please shuck the clams at the time of order. I could tell they'd been a few hours as there was no brine in the shell, but still they were tasty too. We dressed up a bit but there were folks that were comfortably dressed in casual attire as well, along with children. So everyone is welcome. It was upscale relaxed. It was not noisy or loud and the music was subtle. We had light conversations with the folks at the tables next to us.

I have been back to Benjamin's 3x in 2024. I have to say this is my favorite steakhouse. The food is yummy, the drinks are delicious, the service is damn near perfect ( servers are awesome - especially Vincenzo and Viton), the setting and environment makes you feel like family. Some may say it's pricey but you get what you pay for which is an amazing experience. The manager checks in on all the tables to make sure everyone is good. I will keep going back.

When you come to Chinese buffet and you see Asian, you know it gotta be good at certain level. Good sushi/Sashimi selections, happy they offer sashimi because most buffet try to force you eat sushi only with lots of Rice that we don't want. They taste better than they look. I love the fish skin side dish! Eel was yummy(it's cold shashimi). Haven't get the chance to try the rolls. Wasabi is not spicy tho, could be better. Steam buns with melted salty yolk inside was so good, what a surprise.(Get the coconut one). Fried chicken wings were juicy inside. Beef short ribs was yummy. Steam lobsters all overcooked, what a waste & disappointed. I hope they can improve the steaming time or make it ginger scallions lobster. Steam oysters with garlic was decent. Hotpot was fun to wrap up, lamb meat was good , fatty beef way too much fat. I do like the soup base selection including sour & spicy golden soup. Not much choice for seafood, except shrimps & mini scallops. It's alright tho they do off beef stripes some fish balls. Mini scallops was good, fried shrimp was good. Oh the sticky rice with pineapple was good. Crab legs with butter were decent. Ice cream selection is poor. Hershey's icecream cups are full of chemicals yuck. Back then all Chinese buffet would serve soft icecream or real ice cream, not anymore unfortunately. Overall it's good and hope they will keep up the quality. Worth the pirce $42 per person. I'll choose this over the Korean bbq & hotpot.

I can honestly say this place hasn't lost their touch. The restaurant is dark and cozy with a fireplace in the back, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or nice lunch. The servers are all well-versed in the menu items and oyster selection. The restaurant usually has some great specials that are always worth trying out. This visit was somewhat brief so we only got mains. The special of the day was swordfish. They offer the option to choose your prep style so we each got the swordfish; I tried the lemon butter sauce and my boyfriend got the red pepper sauce. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We also shared a side of the grilled asparagus which was perfectly cooked. A solid 10/10. Highly recommended for any foodies as this place also has some fantastic non-seafood options.

I had been meaning to try Kee's Oyster House for a long time based on their high ratings, but after finally visiting last night, I left disappointed. Atmosphere The restaurant is nicely designed, yet it strangely lacks ambiance and it was half full. There was either no music playing or it was so quiet that we couldn't hear it. The atmosphere felt sterile, further emphasized by the staff. Our waiter did not introduce himself or offer a greeting; he simply asked, "Still or sparkling water?" As I observed the room, I noticed that not a single staff member offered a smile or a friendly gesture. The entire team appeared visibly unhappy, and every interaction felt purely transactional, devoid of any genuine customer service. The Good: Appetizers The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. We enjoyed both the raw oysters and the Oysters Rockefeller. The raw oysters had a perfect balance of brininess and sweetness, and the Rockefeller was cooked perfectly with a creamy spinach sauce so good that we were tempted to order a second round. The Bad: Main Entrees Unfortunately, this is where Kee's fell short. My wife ordered the salmon, and when she asked about the preparation, the waiter brusquely informed her it is only served medium-rare, offering no room for preference. When she asked what side it came with, he gave her a pretentious, disdainful look and stated that they are an à la carte restaurant. She was forced to order a $14 side of poorly constructed, bitter onions and potatoes. While the salmon itself was flavorful, a restaurant charging 6-7 times the cost of ingredients needs to provide an experience that justifies the premium. My seafood risotto was equally disappointing. The portion size was shockingly small--containing only three baby scallops and four baby shrimp. Furthermore, the dish had an overpowering "fishy" taste that forced me to use the leftover mignonette sauce from our oysters just to make it palatable.

The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.
