Such great beers and ciders! The location isn't the easiest when it comes to parking, but it's worth the visit. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back--maybe it's because of the adorable brewery cats roaming around the property!

Came for the cats. Loved the cat themed merch. Different kinds of beers available but not much to come back for especially with parking being so limited.

Such a cute brewery! Went here for a friend's birthday and they were super accommodating for a large party. It looked like a lot of people did bigger party celebrations here too. They also let you bring in your own food so that's a plus. And they have some brewery cats roaming around. Only downside is parking can be a bit tough.

This place is a vibe. The outside area is chilled and the music is not too loud, meaning you can have a conversation with people. Great if you are past your 20s. There are two bars - cider bar and beer bar. They are separated by the patio area and both have different vibes, which is really cool. The music was nice when I was there. There are also screens with sports playing, which is a big bonus. The calendar on their website also shows all the events and even the food vendors, which is convenient. I had the pilsner and it was delicious. Haven't tried the ciders yet but definitely looks good, and it's something you don't see often. There is a small parking lot but also street parking in the area if anything.

Hit up 4 breweries on a Saturday night and this one was hands down my favorite. A great vibe music plenty of seating outside and inside a great beer menu and the pizza slaps! Didn't like the red ale so the gentlemen gave me a new beer on the house! What great service is that!? The ladies I was with are particularly picky with their beer choices and they loved the sour beer. This is a great hidden gem that I will definitely be coming back to.

One of my favorite breweries in Lincoln Heights with the only down side being the parking :( it's off on the corner of Daly st near the freeway and bridge which makes parking a bit limited. However the staff and ambiance makes up for the lack of parking! lol I really like their Mexican lager it's a light and refreshing beer. They have a ton of different themed events here and you're able go make reservations for birthdays. What makes Benny unique is that it's not only a brewery but also hard cider house.

Very cool spot. I went for their Apple fest. Specialize in ciders... they had maybe 10 or 15 different ones. Nice bar area and outdoor space. They have different food trucks rotating and events. If I lived closer I would def come regularly. They also have two cats.. they had pretty cool merch with them on it.

If you're into beer and love a good keekee, this might just be your kind of place. I came here to celebrate my coworker's birthday and ended up having a really good time. They have a plethora of beers (yes, plethora), TVs to catch the game, great service, and vibes that were honestly unmatched. I personally didn't drink this time, but my friend tried the Base Sour and the Lincoln Heights Lager and was very pleased--no complaints, no side-eye, nothing but good things. Now, quick disclaimer: they also have cats in the establishment. Yes... real ones. So if you're allergic or not a fan of unexpected feline coworkers, you may want to sit this one out And lastly, parking is a bit of a sport. Be prepared to circle the block a good 2-3 times like you're qualifying for the Olympics. Other than that, pull up, grab a drink, and enjoy the vibes

Nice selection of beer and ciders. I loved all the ciders! The flights are fun to make. Well priced. Quick service and everyone looks like they enjoy working there. The brewery has a very large seating area! There were three parties going on when we were there and it didn't feel crowded at all. Say hello to the brewery cats!!! They are so cute!

Vibes were amazing! Service was impeccable. We didn't taste the tacos but they smelled delicious! Cider house great & the hazy beers were delicious! Fire pits, good seats, dog friendly! Can't really ask for more! Can't wait to go again soon and bring some friends!

This place is so sweet. The staff were super chill, music was banging. The outdoor heaters feel so good. Best of all, the brews. Mmmmh mmmh! I had the Brewery Cat Japanese Lager (yum) and the Devil's Umbrella (apple cider that had habanero, WOW). Love trying unique beer and cider. And they really do have brewery cats! If I were coming out of the LAC General Hospital this would be my first stop (jk)

We love coming here lots of great options for beer and cider. But the main reason we keep coming back as for the cats.!! They are so cute and well behaved with so much chaos going on around them. Service is very nice and fast as well.

Checked out Benny Boy brewing for their ciders. It's a fun space with two sides, one for beer and one for ciders, and open space in the middle for live music, tables, and food trucks. Best part is that you might catch the two cats roaming around. They feature a variety of ciders with an option to do a taster flight. While I wanted to try the Roxy and Mango ones, I ended up getting the green tea one which did have a faint green tea flavor. We came on a night of a Dodgers game so it was pretty busy. They have cool merch and cute posters/signs. It is tucked away under a bridge and does have a parking lot out front. But if its full, there wasnt a lot of street parking options.

Ask the Community - Benny Boy Brewing

Is it 21 and over only?

Yes, Benny Boy is 21+ only. The only exceptions are babies in strollers/carriers at all times.

So I've just seen two families rejected bc they had toddlers, do they not allow minors or just toddlers ? So are minors not allowed all the time or just on family Sundays? I'm confused... plis esplein lusy…

They have someone at the entrance checking for IDs, I don't think minors are allowed if that's the case. Also they serve water, why would you want to bring a water bottle or a hydro flask ?

Do the bands perform indoors or outdoors?

    Outdoors.

Which days do you do the artist night or something like that where people get creative and scribble some artwork?

1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 7-11pm! Follow @sketchparty on IG for more info.

Does Benny Bot have good TV's and are you watching Dodger games?

We have a large projector in the brewery with sound on! Yes, we always play Dodger games!

    Are kids allowed?

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my son and got turned away, no kids allowed! Really?!?! Boo Hoo!!!

Is this place friendly to alcohol-free people?

Hi Michael, Yes! We have a house-made elderflower sparkling water as well as bottled sparkling. Dreaming of making an alcohol-free beer - it's in-the-works!

Seems like a cute place to work from. Are there any outlets available to charge laptops?

Yes we do! Plenty of places to plug in and charge. We also have USB outlets and great public wifi.

Do you offer any non-alcoholic beer options? If not can people bring their own non-alcoholic beers?

Not yet, but we're working on some NA options! You're welcome to bring outside food, but no outside beverages please. Thank you!

Can food be ordered for delivery to patrons?

    Absolutely!

Do you sell cider to go?

We do! We sell 32oz crowlers (large cans) that we seam onsite for you to take cider home.

Is there a bike rack? Dog/kid friendly?

Very small bike rack inside gate at brewery. Opening day saw plenty of babies. Following day a friend of mine took his 2 year old and they told him no kids allowed. Who knows. Very dog friendly.

Unfortunately I had to leave after the first 10 minutes due to feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and insulted by a female working at the bar. The female bar tender who was outside with the black hair and pig tails should NOT WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. She was extremely rude & condescending. I would understand if it was the end of the day and the staff was tired but it was an hour into the event, it wasn't packed yet, so there was no line at the bar. I walked up to the empty bar to get a drink and ask a question about where to order food & she snapped at me accusing me of cutting in line and told me, " to get inline behind everyone else trying to get a drink" I turn around confused bc everyone behind me is clearly turned away from the bar watching the soccer game. Thinking it was my mistake I APOLOGIZE to her & turn around to look for a line again but like I said the bar was CLEARLY not busy so I POLITELY asked her where does the line start and she proceeds to SCREAM @ me and speak to me like I'm a child & points to all the people behind me who are standing and looking AWAY from the bar. Stating "ALLLL those people behind you are waiting inline for a drink." I'm 27 this is not my 1st time at a bar. I know I walked up to an empty bar & she gaslit me into looking for a line THREE TIMES during that one interaction. I'm over feeling gas lit and leave the bar w/o a drink. Once I walked away from the bar I thought I might see "one of the many people who I cut inline" go up to the bar and get a drink but no one else went up to the bar after I left. She was so rude. I got uncomfortable & decided to leave and take my money and party of 8 people to another bar next door. I use to work in customer service so i understand it can be a pain in the ass but when I'm coming at you respectfully as a customer and your demeanor continues to be hostile throughout the entire interaction there's a problem. As an establishment owner I would hate to have someone like that working for me. This can't be the fist time this terrible employee treats customers like this. I can only imagine how much money this bitter employee is costing this establishment.

This place is always recommended to me on Yelp anytime I try to find places to eat in Little Tokyo…read moreand technically it's in the Arts District, but it's within walking distance. I've had my brother and several friends say that it's good and since we were closer to this area for a pop up event, we dropped by and I finally had a chance to try it. We visited during the final game of the World Cup, so there was no more indoor dining, but there's a couple bench tables outside at the side of the building. Part of the building shades over the seating, so even on a pretty hot day, this worked in a pinch and there was a slight breeze too, thank goodness. Staff was helpful and and answered our questions. They also brought our order out to the tables outside, which was nice. They also took our trash and tray back when we were done too. Each table has ketchup, brown and spicy mustard if need be. Inside, you order and pay at the cashier, grab a number, and they bring it to you. There's a bunch of sausage links on display, as well as the sodas and you can see some of the beer that they have too. For our Sunday lunch, we got the: 1) Sunset Zero soda: -It's an imported German soda. Love that there's a zero sugar version. It's a citrus cola with ending vanilla notes. Way better than some of the orange Pepsi/Pepsi Fire they ran in the past. Nice to try. 2) Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers: -Unique combination of predator and prey meats all encased into one sausage. Also, not often you can get these meats as well. -Slight spicy kick to it from the jalapenos and rich, buttery texture of the meats together. -Each hot dog comes with 2 toppings and we got caramelized onions and sauerkraut with this which added a nice sour and sweet taste to it too. -I liked this the most of the 2 of them. 3) Pheasant with Herbs de Provence: -Nice savory flavor, but I was a fool and ordered this with the sweet and spicy peppers as a topping since they were different from the other toppings we got and I mostly just tasted the bitter aftertaste of the peppers that sort of overpowered the meats. My mistake if anything since the bites with just meat and mustard were delicious. 4) Groot of Belgian Fries: -Huge serving, way too much for 2 people especially with 2 hot dogs and we sadly could not finish it, but at the very least it came with 2 dipping sauces. -Before ordering this, I didn't groot referred to anything other than a Marvel character. -Fries had a rich, deeper flavor than standard fries, nice slight crispiness. We got it with curry ketchup and sundried tomato mayo. The tomato mayo was fine, definitely a lighter flavor and since the fries tasted so rich on their own, I feel like the curry ketchup was a more flavorful and better match. I love a good hot dog, so being able to try it with more exotic meats, flavors, and sauces makes it definitely worth stopping by.
