I got what I needed and more from this coffee shop, when I dropped in for a quick visit. The cafe had some table options giving a workspace kind of vibe coffee shop, but my visit was not for staying in, it was a grab and go one. Being that this was my first visit, and I wasn't familiar with the menu the girl who took my order was super sweet and told me about the drink selections. She also told me about some of the sweet treats that went well with drink selections. I decided to purchase a brown butter caramel swirl latte and some dark chocolate banana madeleines. The latte was not too sweet, very smooth and hot. The cookies were amazing. soft and moist. The banana wasn't drowned out by the chocolate flavor. It was so good I would come back just to get those alone. I would definitely give a thumbs up for this place! Happy Yelping!
Very cute treats with Asian flavors! I love the dedication to the alpaca and cute character theme across all the pastries, from the macarons to the jar on the panna cottas. We had the raspberry tart and the milk cloud cake. Price points were very high, even for midtown pastries. I enjoyed the milk cloud cake because of the black tea infused cream really came through. The other bits in it were not as impressive--the small chocolate bits were dry and this viscous layer in it (tapioca?) lacked taste. The raspberry tart was very adorable with two macarons. The tart shell was a bit dry and crumbly, but if you like raspberry the flavor does come through in the filling. The staff weren't warm in any way, but we're in midtown which tends to be hectic, and we were there at the end of the day so it's not a dealbreaker or anything really egregious. The place isn't very spacious for seating, so unless you're coming at a time that isn't busy, you might not get a seat/I'd plan around getting your sweets to go. That was no problem for me this time around, though. Overall this place is cute, and if you're looking for an Asian-inspired treat in midtown before a broadway show (Wicked is nearby) this could be an option for you. I just wouldn't expect it to particularly standout in terms of price and quality.
WOW. That is a REALLY good high quality Matcha cream puff. Nothing more to say. It's thicker and crunchier on the outside than the cream puffs I'm used to though, which is fine it's just different.
SO adorable, ngl at first I thought it was called Bible & Sip and I thought people came here to do bible study... But nope, they serve the cutest little desserts! We tried the raspberry and lychee tart, and I really liked how the tartness helped balance out the sweetness. The lychee bits in there were sooo yum too. I could definitely taste both the lychee and the raspberry well. And THE CRUST!! That was amazing. We also tried the strawberry matcha latte, but unfortunately that was way too sweet for me. The strawberry also dominated the matcha so it tasted more like strawberry milk :( We came on a Friday evening, and it was really difficult to find a seat so we ended up standing around to eat everything. This place is so popular! I want to come back to try all the other desserts especially the cream puffs and pastries!
Beautiful and very Instagram-worthy desserts. Everything looked amazing and tasted good, especially the cream puffs. However, the photos online make the place seem bigger than it is. The shop is quite small and crowded, prices are on the high end, and the staff wasn't particularly friendly during our visit. Worth trying once for the unique pastries and presentation.
Came here for a quick drink and snack on a Tuesday late afternoon. There was no line to order but given the limited amount of tables, it was completely packed. I ordered their matcha jasmine tea latte, which was refreshing although I would've like more floral flavor from the jasmine tea. My friends and I shared their earl gray banana pudding, which was the first time I've seen this given I've been here multiple times. There were a lot of bananas but I unfortunately did not taste any earl gray at all so that was a little disappointing. Service was quick and staff was patient with us when we were deciding our order. But like I said, the space is small with very limited seats. So we just stood at the corner to devour the banana pudding. It's not the most comfortable place to dine in. I did however see some new items available like the salty Chester so I would be very interested to go back to try it out next time.
Stopped in to peruse the scrumptious bakery items Wednesday. They had so many beautiful choices! Service was great. Very nice ladies helped us. The pastry was like a cloud of cream. All the flavors were so yummy! The outside of the pastry was crunchy and delicious. The inside was soft, creamy and melted in your mouth. There are coffee and tea items to order and other merch. Inside of the cafe was quaint and quite busy. There are tables and chairs with fun decor. The Llama is very cute. I will return to try other pastries.
I really enjoyed their Earl Gray Cream Puff! The outside is crispy with the perfect amount of confectioner's sugar. It can get real messy. The filling is extremely creamy and not too sweet. A perfect balance.

I had seen their cute pastries online and wanted to check them out. We got the items above and a few coffees. The cakes are cute. Tho not as light and fluffy as I was expecting. I thought they'd be more like the asian bakeries we have back in SF. Not as sweet as american desserts, but it was kinda in between. The egg sandwich I really wanted to like since I've been craving one. But the it was sooo dry. Definitely needed more mayo. And the bread wasn't very fluffy either. I HEART YOU BIBBLE & SIP!!! Ok I'm going to avoid writing the short novel that was my last couple reviews here and keep it short. Another five cream puffs to go this time including the classics black sesame, matcha and earl grey, and two seasonal flavors chocolate hazelnut and strawberry jasmine. The former seasonal variety was a hit, friends all enjoyed the chocolate shell and light hazelnut choco cream inside, a couple comments on how it reminded of a ferrero rocher. The latter was light and subtle, I personally enjoyed this one a lot too! Until next time...
Bibble & Sip is known for their cream puffs and cute desserts. When I came by, they already sold out of their cream puffs but I did get to try a Soup Dumpling Cake ($14). While pricey, the flavor and work put into this is worth it. I really like how it's a pandan and vanilla filling, which was not too sweet and so luscious. The cookie holder gives it a nice crunch as well. Overall, great spot for cute desserts and great for gifts. All their flavors are delicious as well.
Small shop, great service, excellent drinks, & tasty treats! Of the two drinks, the black sesame latte was by far one of the best lattes I've had in a while (granted I have had a latte in a while...). If texture doesn't bother you (liberal amount of black sesame!), I'd suggest getting this latte (10/10). Both pastries were great in their own right. For my second matcha of the day, this matcha was like your everyday/average matcha. Can't go wrong, but it wasn't mind-blowing. If you're in the Theatre District, I'd definitely recommend popping in for a drink & a treat!
Overall: 4.1/5 Bibble and Sip has an extensive drink and pastry menu, and honestly their pastries are a lot better than their drinks. I would come back for the pastries alone. They also have the cutest character and animal macarons. One thing worth mentioning is that their paper cup holders aren't very sturdy. Mine broke while I was walking home and both cups hit the sidewalk. I called them and they were nice enough to remake my drinks, which I really appreciated. The Iced 24 oz Lavender Latte ($8) with oat milk ($0.75) is their signature and what they recommended. The coffee came out a bit sour so make sure you mix it well before drinking. You can definitely taste the lavender but I didn't think there was anything special about it overall. The Iced 24 oz Matcha Jasmine Latte ($8.25) with oat milk ($0.75) had a light jasmine flavor and the matcha wasn't super strong either. It's a good combo idea but the taste was a bit underwhelming. The Earl Grey Almond Mochi Croissant ($6) was so good. They really nailed the textures with the mochi and croissant together and the earl grey flavor came through subtly in the best way. The Matcha Cream Puff ($5) was fire. Nice crispy outer shell with delicious matcha cream inside. This one is a must.
Needed a spot before my Broadway show to sit and read. This place was perfect for that. Quick service and friendly. Sort of loud though, they definitely have to yell names and orders for pickup. I got an indulgent drink but it wasn't overly sweet which I liked. Banana pudding matcha. I didn't care for the biscuits it came with but everything else was great. read more
Really fantastic overall, they have good service, open space inside, a good selection of drinks, and a good selection of savory and sweet baked goods. The everything bagel was so soft and flavorful. Paired with the light cream cheese was a great choice. The creampuffs are so light, not too sweet, and had a slightly crunchy top to give the bite texture. Bibble & Sip was the hottest accesible Asian-influenced trendy bakery when it started, and I have the fondest memory of biting into that matcha choux for the first time oozing green cream everywhere. So naturally, I stopped by for a cream puff and a drink while I waited for a reservation elsewhere. I will say, the store is far too small still. It was a well-hyped place when I last visited years ago, but the hype has not died down. The line was long, and the whole store was full, and the line only got longer as I was there. It's probably now not possible, but I felt mindful store layout could have provided more clarity and less crowding with the lines, as people were basically forced to be right on top of each other. The small bar also cannot handle so many drink orders, even though all the workers were working as fast as they could. I got an earl grey cream puff, an oolong tea, and a coconut butter mochi. The cookie-top cream puff was as delectable as I remembered, the top crusty and crumbly, the choux nice and crisp, with delicious full-bodied cream filled to the absolute brim. I love cream puffs of all shapes and sizes, but this one is just executed perfectly with a structural integrity that seem to defy rules of science. The oolong was served piping hot. I appreciated that it was ready to drink, fully brewed the moment it came to me and no remaining tea bags or leaves to make the taste too bitter. There was a lot of yummy-looking and adorable cakes and pastries on display, including a xiao long bao shaped one that had a little squirt syringe on top and their iconic llama macarons. Unfortunately, because of the crowd, I wasn't able to sit and try these. I'm sure they are excellent choices if you happen to snag a nice seat during a less crowded day. read more
Recently visited Bibble & Sip after a couple of years and it's as good as when I first discovered! Their cream puffs are some of my favorite. Cute pastries and drinks and close to Broadway and Times Square. It was fairly busy on a Saturday morning but still able to find a table. It's a little crowded though so wouldn't recommend staying for a long time. Congrats to Bibble & Sip on celebrating their 10 year anniversary! read more

Long time favorite spot, I always stop in for the macarons, Red Bean Dark Chocolate & Matcha White Chocolate Ganache as well as the Black Sesame Cookies & Cream are where it's at! They've also got lots of other savory and sweet pastries as well as coffee and teas. Service is quick, there's not tons of seating and it's a little tight indoors, but it's very clean and I'm always excited to stop by and see what's new. The earl grey banana pudding was a delicious new discovery too! read more

Super cute pastries, but the matcha cream puff didn't taste the freshest. While a decent amount of matcha flavor came through, the quality of the choux pastry itself tasted a bit stale. I'd be willing to try them again in the early morning to guarantee freshness, since I tried this one later in the evening. So far, it doesn't compare to the puffs at Alimama Tea. read more
Glad this place reopened. Tried the egg custard with boba - fanatic combo. Taro cream puff - taro filling goo, the puff needs work though. The inner core that's between the filling and the outer layer wasn't great. Totoro - black sesame with cookies and cream. Good but tad too sweet. Still wish they do more fruity flavour mixed with Asian flavours. read more

Came here after seeing all of the positive reviews and I was not let down. Forget which flavor cream puff I got, but it was the best one I've ever had. Service was on point even though it was pretty busy. Would definitely return when/if in the area. read more
If you are in manhattan, you need to try this cutie little cafe with the cutest dessert ever! They have dumpling cake! We tried their cream puffs which filled with delicious cream for the whole puffs. They also have cartoon macarons! You cannot resist to try them all. The cafe is small and filled with people. It's a bit pricy but consider that's a lot of work of making the cute dessert, it's worth it! read more

Stopped by to try the cream puffs after hearing about Bibble & Sip from a friend! What a cute place! Ordered the black sesame walnut cream puff and the Brûlée Beni (Beni-Haruka sweet potato, black currant jam, brûlée vanilla bean cream) cream puff. I expected to like the black sesame one the most, but I found it a little overly sweet. I wanted a bit more nuttiness. The brûlée beni though was incredible! The jam was flavorful and tart which perfectly balanced the sweetness of the sweet potato and cream. So delicious!! I'd definitely be back just for this one. I also tried the London float drink which was pretty good, very creamy. I wouldn't wait in line just for the drink though; the cream puffs are the real draw here! There is seating inside but it's busy and crowded, so taking your treats to go is recommended. read more

It has been a long minute since my last visit, and I almost forgot how delicious their cream puffs are (NOT TOO SWEET!!!) ＊Matcha White Chocolate Cream Puff $4.50 As a matcha girlie I almost screamed out of happiness. I am pleasantly satisfied by their choux pastry texture. It has a slightly crispy outer, coated with melon-pan alike crunchy cookie crust. The matcha cream is so generous that it overflows when I bite into it. The tea flavor isn't very strong but still noticeable. I'll definitely repurchase this flavor again. ＊Chooukie Cream Puff Shookie + pate choux = Chooukie! It is a cookie-patechoux hybrid, topped with vanilla bean cookie dough infused cream and a mini chocolate chip cookies. The inside is filled with chocolate chips and cream. My chooukie looks like a mess as they put it in a paper bag, but it doesn't really affect the taste. It has the right amount of sweetness, not as sugary as what I imagined a cookie hybrid would be. read more

I love this place and have dropped by a handful of times over the years. Each time, it's such a treat. (But like actually, it's for treats.) They always have the most unique baked goods, that are both cute and tasty. (Very cutesty. Very demure. Very demure-sty.) I typically will pick up as few adorable and delicately wrapped macarons in the form of cute little characters, and gift them to friends and family. I also love their lattes. I've tried the Honk Kong Ducks latte (tea, coffee + condensed milk) which was good, but a little sweet for my taste so I typically stick with a classic, iced latte now. Although this place usually is pretty packed, service is still quick and the lines move quickly. If you're nearby, be sure to check it out! read more

Everything here is super cute and beautifully done, just the way I like it. The desserts look like little pieces of art, and they taste amazing too. I tried the Rose Berry Float for the first time, so refreshing and delicious! The panda cake was not only adorable but also really tasty. Love that it's only a minute away from Times Square Church, which makes it the perfect stop before or after service. We were able to visit twice during our weeklong NYC vacation. The first time we ordered a BBB (black sesame bolo bao - egg custard filling) and a matcha creme puff, and a matcha latte. The pastries were very nice, and tasted delicious. We both thought - gee, they're rude here! The second time we were going to see the Broadway musical Wicked, which was around across the street, and we needed a snack. I got another BBB, and an almond croissant for my wife. The almond croissant tasted like it was burnt, it was difficult to tell because it was mostly dark brown in color. The BBB was excellent. The two clerks were busy chatting amongst themselves and neglected to see that two of the only trash bins were full and needed to be empty. It was only after we orderd, did one of the clerks as me sweetly - Do you need help? I thought of telling her that she could help by emptying the trash bins - LOL!!! read more

What an adorable cafe with Asian-inspired desserts that are as unique as they are photo-worthy! * Milk tea cloud cake: crunchy exterior gives way to a strong milk tea-flavored mousse and chocolate cake inside * Yuzu cake: white chocolate bamboo shell with a mango cream, lychee jelly, and a citrus-y cake inside * Matcha cream puff: crispy on the outside, filled to the brim with creamy matcha goodness on the inside. The favorite among the 3. I found both cakes a little too sweet for my taste, but the cream puff was just right. At over $10 per cake and nearly $5 per cream puff, it definitely put a dent in my wallet. The place is small and cozy, though there are a few chairs and stools. read more
Everything here is so cute! There's limited seating and it can get pretty packed, however the park isn't too far away so you can definitely enjoy your treats there. I would say this place is worth the hype. the milk tea and matcha cream puffs are fantastic. Great ratio of cream to puff. and it's just a perfect level of sweetness. I'll go again for more puffs but I'll pass on the strawberry matcha latte. looked pretty but flavor was off. read more
I don't know how I haven't written a review yet for Bibble & Sip but have been coming here for a good 7-8 years ever since college days. Conveniently located right by the A/C/E trains (literally two steps away from the storefront). It's at W 51st Street & 8th Ave in Hell's Kitchen...actually not too far like 9 blocks from Times Square. Pretty fast and friendly service from staff. Whenever I get iced drinks, I often like to ask for no ice in mine and I like how there're really no ice at all. The to-go cups that they use are made of extremely durable plastic. Feels like you would be able to reuse them if you've wanted to which I tend to keep one at home just in case lol. Noise level is average and can get busy during peak hours of weekdays and maybe on the weekends too. B&S has recently gotten renovated back in May, so this is my first time coming back since they've closed up for an entire month. Does look and feel more spacious compared to back then. The cleanliness, however, can be improved. I see some paper towels all over the floor and tables. Would like to see the staff wiping down the tables more. They sell very delicious desserts and the spot is especially popularly known for different flavors of cream puffs and different themed macarons. My favorite are the adorable Totoro and alpaca ones of course. I love their huge chunk of banana bread because it's just the right moistness and sweetness. Has been a very popular cafe/bakery for tourists and locals alike on social media & Yelp. What I've noticed though, is that their desserts are getting more and more expensive due to inflation over the years and that they're very close to Times Square. Used to come here almost every other day after classes but now maybe once or twice a month. Ambiance wise is very cute with the alpaca logo/mascot that the owner (Gary) loves. The sweets and place are both instaworthy and aesthetically pleasing. Pretty sure a lot of people would agree with me. If you ever find yourself sitting by a wall outlet under the tables, do consider yourself very lucky and charge your phone while you can. If you ever see Gary briefly hanging around in the front counter, please request a cute Totoro or alpaca latte art from him. Honestly, I think his animal latte art is the best and my favorite. After all, cute + unique latte art is hard to come by these days lol. I do miss the old days sometimes. You can ask the staff for a cup of water if you're thirsty and don't want to order a drink with your dessert/pastry. The single restroom stall is clean at times, can get dirty and rolls of toilet paper might run out during peak hours. Both cash and/credit card are accepted forms of payment. They've a stamp card where you can get a free drink after 10 drink purchases. Ohh one last thing, you can buy their cute but kind of expensive merch. Would recommend people to visit Bibble & Sip at least once if they're ever around this area. read more
Such a cute bakery! But there's very limited seating, we had to wait for people to leave before finding a place to set our things down. It was pretty busy and not that well maintained, the trash was overflowing. I ordered the iced matcha jasmine latte and earl grey cream puff. The cream puffs and drinks were reasonably priced. I usually don't like cream puffs, but these weren't too sweet and the top has a nice crunchy texture. I really like the matcha latte, I didn't even need to adjust the sweetness level it was already perfect and you can really taste the jasmine. I wanted to try the tarts but they were pretty expensive, around $10 for a small piece but I guess that's to be expected for the craftsmanship that goes into them. I'm not sure if I would go out of my way for this since there are many similar bakeries in NY but it is conveniently located near Times square. read more

I first came here a couple years ago and I've been meaning to come back to try some other cute desserts. I got the soup dumpling and my friend go the BBB. The soup dumpling is a pandan/coconut mousse and tart pastry. The pandan flavor was quite strong. The tart itself was a little dry but overall it was so tasty! My friend described the BBB as a black sesame pineapple bun, which sounds like the best of both worlds to me. I will definitely try to get my hands on that next time. Depending when you go, it might be hard to find seating. Lots of cute treats though, you really can't go wrong! They also have a large variety of drinks. read more
Stopped by on a Wednesday around 11AM. The cafe had a few people inside. The service was good. There are a few tables inside and the interior is cute. They seem to have a lot of pastries. I got the strawberry matcha latte and unfortunately this was terrible. Matcha was not good at all. I don't know what brand they use, but it did not taste ceremonial grade. The strawberry part was more of a milk and not a puree which was what I was expecting. This was super sour. Overall a very disappointing drink. Very sad that I had to pay $10 for a drink I could not finish. read more

Staff were friendly and prompt. The desserts r absolutely ADORABLE! Although not strong, they have unique flavor combos that r quite tasty and fun characters. The cafe is also cute- pretty standard cafe vibes. Like most places in NYC, the seating and space is limited but they've added as many seats as feasible. read more
Super super cute concept! The baked goods were alllll soooo cute and they had amazing flavors that had Asian flavors!! I got a Roseberry float but it was 2 stars for me - it was very light in flavor. I did get the ube pastry and it was very very good (and this is coming from someone who doesn't usually eat pastries) - I give the pastry 4 stars. My group all got drinks and they enjoyed their drinks - that's why I give it 4 stars. My friend got classic milk tea and she loved it. My other friend got strawberry matcha and she gave it 5 stars. read more
Coffee/Tea and Dessert shop with a lot of yummy treats! This place is quite popular and so seating was limited and there was a line but it went through fast. The staff were efficient but some of the drink orders were coming out at different times. The coffee was average. The cream puffs were definitely a highlight and each flavor was unique and very sweet. read more

One of the best cream puffs I've ever had!! My fiancé and I came on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a small line when we got there and we waited for about 10 minutes. This bakery serves drinks as well as pastries that are displayed in their fridge. All of them looked so cute and tasty! We tried the Matcha and Earl Grey Cream Puffs and both are sooo good!! The outer shell had a sugar-like coating that made it crispy and flakey. There was so much filling and it was so tasty and flavorful. Each cream puff was $4.50, which is a great price for what you get. There was a good amount of tables inside and some seating by the window, so it's nice to stay for a bit to have some coffee or share a dessert. Overall, a cute little bakery with delicious cream puffs that will make you want to come back! read more

I've heard quite a bit of the alpaca-themed Asian milk tea/bakery Bibble and Sip and just had to try it out. I loved their London Tea, which is a blend of brown sugar and Earl grey tea. It's a fusion of sweet, salty and creamy. I'd also recommend their Matcha and Earl Grey cream puffs. Both their pastries and teas are well priced, which is great if you're seeking to order more. They also sell fun branded pins if you want a keepsake or souvenir. Lines aren't terribly long, and there's about 6 tables and bar seating inside. Prices are also very fair. Would love to go back to try more pastries! read more
Can't recommend this place enough. The desserts are adorable and also delicious! I only got to try the lychee berry and the raspberry lychee tart but they were both amazing. They also have some really fun tea/coffee drinks. It's a small place with limited seating but great to stop by before or after a show to get something sweet. read more
Wanted to like this but it was pretty ok in my opinion. Definitely more of a trendy insta place, there are better Asian inspired bakeries in the city. I got the matcha cream puff which they're known for although I am not the biggest fan of matcha and it was as bitter as I expected. Matcha fans would probably like it though. I haven't been here in six years but it is just as DELICIOUS as I remember. Six years ago I went to Bibble and Sip three times in a week. This time I only got to go twice. Worth it!!!! The pastries are just as inventive as I remember. The black sesame and custard pineapple bun was so yummy. The cream puffs are just as delicious as I remember and this time I tried the super cute xiao long bao pandan pastry and it was not just cute but super yummy. No. We were not asked for one and I didn't see anyone else being asked for one.

The business doesn't sell any boba at their location so I guess the answer is no
Hi. Does anyone know what time they have egg tarts ready? I've heard they often run out but i also don't want to get there too early before they've made them...
We got there about 8:30 and they had several... funny, I was thinking about them this morning and how delicious it was.
Can the cream puffs be left at room temperature?
Depends on how long. If you will be consuming within an hour or so, sure. The filling has cream/dairy which would spoil at room temperature if left, say, overnight.
How do their cream puffs compare with Beard Papa?
they are WAY better than the ones at Bears Papa. They are bigger, have a crispy top, and are filled to the brim with custard.
Do they have soft serve icecream?
They didn't when I went! Would be awesome though
How much does it cost to eat a very simple breakfast here?
Coffee/Latte plus crossiant or similar breakfast item will be around $8-$10

There are vegan options for drinks! Matcha or espresso with almond milk!
Do the cream puffs still come out at noon?
I have been there after 12pm and they had fresh batch
Is this a good place to study?
No, It is a very crowded space with little seating. But dessert is awesome.
Is Earl Grey cream puff sour? I bought one, took it home, kept in the refrigerator, and tried one day later.…
