I got what I needed and more from this coffee shop, when I dropped in for a quick visit. The cafe had some table options giving a workspace kind of vibe coffee shop, but my visit was not for staying in, it was a grab and go one. Being that this was my first visit, and I wasn't familiar with the menu the girl who took my order was super sweet and told me about the drink selections. She also told me about some of the sweet treats that went well with drink selections. I decided to purchase a brown butter caramel swirl latte and some dark chocolate banana madeleines. The latte was not too sweet, very smooth and hot. The cookies were amazing. soft and moist. The banana wasn't drowned out by the chocolate flavor. It was so good I would come back just to get those alone. I would definitely give a thumbs up for this place! Happy Yelping!
Very cute treats with Asian flavors! I love the dedication to the alpaca and cute character theme across all the pastries, from the macarons to the jar on the panna cottas. We had the raspberry tart and the milk cloud cake. Price points were very high, even for midtown pastries. I enjoyed the milk cloud cake because of the black tea infused cream really came through. The other bits in it were not as impressive--the small chocolate bits were dry and this viscous layer in it (tapioca?) lacked taste. The raspberry tart was very adorable with two macarons. The tart shell was a bit dry and crumbly, but if you like raspberry the flavor does come through in the filling. The staff weren't warm in any way, but we're in midtown which tends to be hectic, and we were there at the end of the day so it's not a dealbreaker or anything really egregious. The place isn't very spacious for seating, so unless you're coming at a time that isn't busy, you might not get a seat/I'd plan around getting your sweets to go. That was no problem for me this time around, though. Overall this place is cute, and if you're looking for an Asian-inspired treat in midtown before a broadway show (Wicked is nearby) this could be an option for you. I just wouldn't expect it to particularly standout in terms of price and quality.
SO adorable, ngl at first I thought it was called Bible & Sip and I thought people came here to do bible study... But nope, they serve the cutest little desserts! We tried the raspberry and lychee tart, and I really liked how the tartness helped balance out the sweetness. The lychee bits in there were sooo yum too. I could definitely taste both the lychee and the raspberry well. And THE CRUST!! That was amazing. We also tried the strawberry matcha latte, but unfortunately that was way too sweet for me. The strawberry also dominated the matcha so it tasted more like strawberry milk :( We came on a Friday evening, and it was really difficult to find a seat so we ended up standing around to eat everything. This place is so popular! I want to come back to try all the other desserts especially the cream puffs and pastries!
WOW. That is a REALLY good high quality Matcha cream puff. Nothing more to say. It's thicker and crunchier on the outside than the cream puffs I'm used to though, which is fine it's just different.
Beautiful and very Instagram-worthy desserts. Everything looked amazing and tasted good, especially the cream puffs. However, the photos online make the place seem bigger than it is. The shop is quite small and crowded, prices are on the high end, and the staff wasn't particularly friendly during our visit. Worth trying once for the unique pastries and presentation.
Came here for a quick drink and snack on a Tuesday late afternoon. There was no line to order but given the limited amount of tables, it was completely packed. I ordered their matcha jasmine tea latte, which was refreshing although I would've like more floral flavor from the jasmine tea. My friends and I shared their earl gray banana pudding, which was the first time I've seen this given I've been here multiple times. There were a lot of bananas but I unfortunately did not taste any earl gray at all so that was a little disappointing. Service was quick and staff was patient with us when we were deciding our order. But like I said, the space is small with very limited seats. So we just stood at the corner to devour the banana pudding. It's not the most comfortable place to dine in. I did however see some new items available like the salty Chester so I would be very interested to go back to try it out next time.
Stopped in to peruse the scrumptious bakery items Wednesday. They had so many beautiful choices! Service was great. Very nice ladies helped us. The pastry was like a cloud of cream. All the flavors were so yummy! The outside of the pastry was crunchy and delicious. The inside was soft, creamy and melted in your mouth. There are coffee and tea items to order and other merch. Inside of the cafe was quaint and quite busy. There are tables and chairs with fun decor. The Llama is very cute. I will return to try other pastries.
I really enjoyed their Earl Gray Cream Puff! The outside is crispy with the perfect amount of confectioner's sugar. It can get real messy. The filling is extremely creamy and not too sweet. A perfect balance.

I had seen their cute pastries online and wanted to check them out. We got the items above and a few coffees. The cakes are cute. Tho not as light and fluffy as I was expecting. I thought they'd be more like the asian bakeries we have back in SF. Not as sweet as american desserts, but it was kinda in between. The egg sandwich I really wanted to like since I've been craving one. But the it was sooo dry. Definitely needed more mayo. And the bread wasn't very fluffy either. I HEART YOU BIBBLE & SIP!!! Ok I'm going to avoid writing the short novel that was my last couple reviews here and keep it short. Another five cream puffs to go this time including the classics black sesame, matcha and earl grey, and two seasonal flavors chocolate hazelnut and strawberry jasmine. The former seasonal variety was a hit, friends all enjoyed the chocolate shell and light hazelnut choco cream inside, a couple comments on how it reminded of a ferrero rocher. The latter was light and subtle, I personally enjoyed this one a lot too! Until next time...
Bibble & Sip is known for their cream puffs and cute desserts. When I came by, they already sold out of their cream puffs but I did get to try a Soup Dumpling Cake ($14). While pricey, the flavor and work put into this is worth it. I really like how it's a pandan and vanilla filling, which was not too sweet and so luscious. The cookie holder gives it a nice crunch as well. Overall, great spot for cute desserts and great for gifts. All their flavors are delicious as well.
Small shop, great service, excellent drinks, & tasty treats! Of the two drinks, the black sesame latte was by far one of the best lattes I've had in a while (granted I have had a latte in a while...). If texture doesn't bother you (liberal amount of black sesame!), I'd suggest getting this latte (10/10). Both pastries were great in their own right. For my second matcha of the day, this matcha was like your everyday/average matcha. Can't go wrong, but it wasn't mind-blowing. If you're in the Theatre District, I'd definitely recommend popping in for a drink & a treat!
Overall: 4.1/5 Bibble and Sip has an extensive drink and pastry menu, and honestly their pastries are a lot better than their drinks. I would come back for the pastries alone. They also have the cutest character and animal macarons. One thing worth mentioning is that their paper cup holders aren't very sturdy. Mine broke while I was walking home and both cups hit the sidewalk. I called them and they were nice enough to remake my drinks, which I really appreciated. The Iced 24 oz Lavender Latte ($8) with oat milk ($0.75) is their signature and what they recommended. The coffee came out a bit sour so make sure you mix it well before drinking. You can definitely taste the lavender but I didn't think there was anything special about it overall. The Iced 24 oz Matcha Jasmine Latte ($8.25) with oat milk ($0.75) had a light jasmine flavor and the matcha wasn't super strong either. It's a good combo idea but the taste was a bit underwhelming. The Earl Grey Almond Mochi Croissant ($6) was so good. They really nailed the textures with the mochi and croissant together and the earl grey flavor came through subtly in the best way. The Matcha Cream Puff ($5) was fire. Nice crispy outer shell with delicious matcha cream inside. This one is a must.

Located not too far away from Times Square, Bibble & Sip is the perfect place to go people watch while resting your feet on a long day in New York! They are famous for their cream puffs - and returning after 6 years, they definitely did not disappoint! We had the black sesame cream puff and the matcha cream puff - both had so much creme in it! I loved that the black sesame one had a little well at the top of the pastry with black sesame paste on it. Definitely a big dessert, but definitely worth a stop! read more
Such cute desserts! The cream puffs are great. I have tried a few of the macarons - the Totoro one is adorable and is black sesame flavored. The Alpaca one is discomfort flavored. The last one was apple shaped and honestly, not too sure what flavor this was supposed to be - it was just sweet though I'm not sure it really tasted like apple. Overall, a fun snack and dessert spot. read more
Came here during a stop in the area and we had to check it out, the photos looked amazing and the pastries are so cute. We got the Matcha cream puff, it was made the day of and it was so good. Not too sweet, just perfect. It's pretty big and it was nice to share it. We also got the Lychee berry along with it. It was tasty and flavourful but my son thought it was too sweet. We decided to go to bibble and sip before going to see six the musical. When we first walked in we noticed the prices.... FIFTEEN for a small tart! So I decided to get the monkey bread while my family ordered a Esspreso, brownie and mocha. When I got my monkey bread it was a straight up cube? Wow! Do not miss this unique coffee shop and bakery while in NYC! It is so unique to not only have an alpaca theme with various unique macarons shaped like alpacas and animals but to be serving items like black sesame lattes and black sesame crème puffs- it puts this place on the map! The latte was amazing- a subtle flavor of black sesame with foamed creamy milk on top! Amazing! The black sesame crème puff was decadent yet light and fresh. The black sesame again was ever so subtle but very tasty and rich. The flavor might not be for everyone but this is the place to give this unique taste a try! The service was quick and there is a cute space with a number of tables to relax and enjoy your treats! Absolutely wonderful here! read more
Bibble & Sip popped up on my IG feed, so when I further investigated, I was SOLD! These Kawaii desserts awakened the inner child in me! We made a trek out on an extremely rainy day to sample these expensive cutie desserts. These delicious artistically crafted goodies come at a steep price. Around $14-$15 a piece & some slightly less. Honestly, we wanted to sample them all, but the prices! We spent about $88 total. Yes. On desserts. But well worth it! Definitely not an every day or once a week thing. The lucky money bag was yummy! It tasted like the outer layer was chocolate or white chocolate with a mousse like flavor with the coins being chocolate crunchies. The llama was good also, it was maybe a mango or passionfruit filling with mousse?? The soup dumpling was a winner as well! It was pandan! The cloud milk tea was another fave. My least favorite but still super cute was the panda. The cake or crumb base was so dry and for some reason it just ruined the chocolate and sprinkles for me. The best thing is these desserts are light and not very sweet! It was super busy and seating is very limited to window bar seating , 2 or 3 two tops & the other two tables to the left of the counter were occupied by a vendor. So we took it to go. Packaging is easy to carry, protective and great! They also sell coffee and teas and other desserts. It also looks like they sell some larger round ?birthday? cakes. They have a rewards card, however it's strictly for drinks purchased not desserts purchased. The next time I'm back visiting NY, I will definitely return! Stopped by here real quick since it was on the way to where we were going because the desserts looked so cute! It was pretty packed but people came and left relatively fast. We got the dumplings and the totoro macaroon. Definitely yummy but a lot more for the aesthetics! read more

Bibble & Sip is back after closing briefly for a renovation! I'm so happy to see their doors open again -- and it seems like the rest of the neighborhood did too. The space is still small, so most tables are full usually. The line is a bit of a wait. I enjoy their cream puffs the most (which is what they are known for). I love the Earl Grey ones! I also really enjoy their macarons. This time I brought their iced strawberry matcha latte which I really enjoyed. It's not overly sweet and it was very refreshing for a hot summer day. I didn't order any desserts since there was no place to sit and eat them, so I decided to grab a drink and go. I must go back for their sweets! read more

Great experience at Bibble and Sip Everything looked and tasted delicious . Highly recommend the passionfruit tea iced!!! Busy place w lines but they move quickly- the team is hustling- and there are a few tables to sit and enjoy your treats without being rushed. walked here before heading to central park. Seen they had some matcha pastries and couldnt resist. I ordered the strawberry matcha and a matcha cream puff. The matcha cream puff wasnt bad. It was served chilled. The matcha filling was smooth and had a mild matcha flavor. I did like the textural contrast of the outside with the crunch and the smoothness of the cream. I enjoyed it. The matcha latte I ordered was pretty good. I liked the strawberry addition to it. The cafe was really cute and I enjoyed my treats while sitting by the window. Service was good and the ladies working were both really sweet with good positive energy. read more

Huge fan of their cream puffs. Tried the classics and the new flavors and the classics are definitely classics for a reason!! Solid price $4 each while the newer flavors are $6-$8 and hit or miss not much better than the originals although definitely cool to try. Their tart was able pretty good but definitely opting for more of the puff again next time. Good dessert option if craving something sweet for a good price that's substantially filling. Very low key bakery about a block away from the E train. No fuss no muss in here, but the bakery items are so beautiful and cute!! I was lured here after seeing their Xmas cookie and macaron tin box. They did not disappoint! Very cute as a gift during the holidays! I also tried the s'mores cream puff - it's huge and you definitely should share this, but it was very good! If you want to grab cute pastries that impress, this is the place to go! They always switch it up seasonally and you can tell that they take a lot of pride and care in their products. Ordering the holiday items is still done the old fashioned way, through email and confirmation. It might be an extra step but I found it very charming to be able to connect to a human. read more
This is a MUST in midtown NYC. The drinks are special & there's always interesting seasonal drinks to try. The baked goodies are so adorable & tasty too! If you can, grab a seat by the window to also people watch. It's busy so it can get a little cramped but I wonder if that's why there's a remodel in the works as I write. Came here to try their cream puffs, and ended up getting the earl grey one. It was very crispy and fluffy, with a generous amount of early grey cream! Wasn't too overwhelming and can definitely taste the earl grey flavor. Also got the Milk Tea Cloud Cake, but it was just alright. If you love milk tea, the cream/mousse inside definitely has a very milk tea flavor which was nice. Nothing special about this cake though. Would come back to try their other cream puffs! read more

I liked their hot matcha latter more than their iced. It seemed to have kore earthy flavors to it but both were delicious. Cute little cafe and I wish I tried their pastries!! Service was quick but beware that there might not be tables available due to the crowd. read more

Favorite place! Cute, close to my hotel and the cutest desserts with friendly young people. -Jasmine matcha latte *Tears of happiness* Perfection. Not too sweet. -Dessert: dumpling. Vanilla flavor and pandan. Delicious. Loved the combination between the creamy dumpling and the tartlet. Not too sweet. -Egg Sando. Not like the one you find in Japan. The bread is different but still good! -Everything Croissant. Flaky, big, tasty and fresh! -Matcha cream puff. A LOT of filling, impossible to eat it without making a mess. Yummmm! It's been more than 5 years since I've been to bubble and sip and I'm happy to report the drinks and baked goods are just as creative and tasty as they used to be. We ordered two beverages, a pandan coconut mango sago drink that tasted exactly as described and thus was delightful (even if it was expectedly sweet given the ingredients) and an iced hojicha latte, plus a few pastries. The Thai tea carrot cake was thicker than I expected but still light given the three layers: a moist carrot-y cake on the bottom, a Thai tea mousse in the middle, and a vanilla cream later on top that tasted like the Kozy Shack pudding cups I still enjoy to this day. The black sesame walnut cream puff didn't have any walnuts that I could tell, but the cream was pleasantly flavored and the pastry a good vehicle for the cream. The earl grey cranberry scone was a fun twist, swapping the usual orange citrus for bergamot, but was denser than I like, something I'm finding is common in most US bakeries. Overall, still a solid choice for baked goods and beverages of all kinds if you're on the west side. read more

Had to take a couple of stars off due to having green mold on the raspberries of my desert. I was also disappointed with the lack of flavor in the cloud shaped desert. The dim sum shaped pastry was nice though. I informed the gentleman behind the cash register to inform him of the mold and saw them swap out a few of the pieces behind the glass. I hope in the future they know to inspect the integrity of their ingredients since fresh fruit can go bad rather quickly. read more

Came here on our way home today. Holy beautiful! When you walk in the store, you are welcomed by friendly employees and some beautiful decor. Varsha was a standout employee, providing the great customer service and a ton of patience. She had some delicious recommendations for us. I am an earl grey fanatic, and I was very pleasantly surprised with all of the options that were available to try! Matcha is also a big favorite for me. For the cream puffs, I see why this place gets a lot of attention for them. The cream was delicious, light, fluffy, and not overly sweet. The shell was perfect, not soggy, and the right ratio of cream to pastry. I could eat 10 of these, but were not trying to over indulge. haha. The "Biggie" is so dang cute!! The earl grey tea lattee was better than the giant coffee corps for quality, and the perfect way to start the day off right. There was no miss here with this menu. I took a moment of silence to really savor my first bite of pastry. Noticed as well they are on TooGood2Go, we love no waste. Will definitely be using this option when available. I must say that the prices were reasonable, where the cream puffs were $5, some of the more intricate items may be more, but does seem to match the tag. You get your moneys worth here. I will be visiting again and again when I come to New York City. Hell's kitchen is lucky to have this bakery! read more

I got the macaron blind box, and was unfortunately very disappointed with them. I love macarons, and I'm not very picky about them, but these just completely lacked the texture that macarons are supposed to have. They tasted fine, nothing to write home about, and they ARE very adorable. But at $14 for three macarons, I expect to get macarons, not small almond-based cookies with creme in between. At least the wait was quick, and they have a nice seating selection for such a small place. read more

Cute dessert shop near Hell's Kitchen/Theater District/TSQ. Everything looks so delicious to eat - cute animals and characters. A variety of asian flavors in their desserts - matcha, black sesame, yuzu, chesnut. There isn't a ton of seating and it's usually packed so better to get to-go or be patient and wait for a seat. I always come here for the cream puffs - probably my favorite cream puffs in the city. Their earl grey and matcha are both amazing - the craquelin top with generous cream filling. The flavors are strong and spot-on. Their milk tea and matcha lattes are also great but don't blow me away. The desserts are definitely on the pricey side but make for an amazing spot to pick up desserts for either yourself or for friends. read more
They have a ton of cute pastries but we only tried the cream puffs ranked in order of deliciousness 1. Earl grey 2. Matcha 3. Crème brûlée. The size of the cream puffs were massive and they had a really nice serving of cream filling! read more

This place is soo good I had to come back twice before leaving the city. Their pastries and matcha are sooo good!! We have their jasmine matcha, strawberry matcha which were amazing. For pastries we had the panda cake, which was not too sweet and have a delicious cream filling. Their croissants were crunchy and the layers were perfect we had the tomato basil croissant and the chocolate croissant. They have a nice little seating area, this place is definitely worth a try! read more

One of my favorite dessert spots for years! I recently came back since I was craving their cream puffs. My favorites are always the Green Tea and Earl Grey Cream Puffs. The texture on the outside is so crunchy which mixes really well with the cream inside. They DO NOT skimp on the cream filling!!! Earl Grey is not a super strong tea flavorful and it kind of reminds me of cereal milk flavor without being too sweet. I've tried similar cream puffs at other places in NYC (Grace Street and Alimama) and honestly haven't found any better than this place. Also ordered the Raspberry Lychee tart - so refreshing! This is always one of my favorite places to visit any time I'm in the NYC area! Not only are all of the pastries super aesthetically pleasing, but both the food and drinks are super tasty! Despite there being so many great coffee spots in the area, I'll always spend at least one NYC morning here sipping on a great latte alongside a sweet pastry. Be sure to try the matcha cream puff, which is filled with strong matcha flavor and crispy in all the right places!! read more

Can the cream puffs be left at room temperature?
Depends on how long. If you will be consuming within an hour or so, sure. The filling has cream/dairy which would spoil at room temperature if left, say, overnight.
How do their cream puffs compare with Beard Papa?
they are WAY better than the ones at Bears Papa. They are bigger, have a crispy top, and are filled to the brim with custard.
Do they have soft serve icecream?
They didn't when I went! Would be awesome though
