I love this place. Their food is delicious. So far, I haven't tasted anything I haven't liked.

Food was delicious but my only issue was they kept forgetting what we kept asking for and they didn't give us forks. We had reserved tables for a party and the people were complaining that we were to loud. They told us to quiet down impolitely. read more

Perhaps it was an off night, but the service was terrible. We had to ask twice for parm cheese/ crushed red pepper, salt/pepper and for refills. It didn't appear to have a manager going around to check to see if things were running smoothly. We received our check and after reviewing it we put our credit card down on the table. When we got our final bill it was twice the amount. It took 20 minutes after we pointed it out to get it fixed. The pizza was good and atmosphere was nice, but the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Worst experience ordering delivery. EVER. We ordered at 11:30pm and got calls at 2:24AM saying that they couldn't deliver since there was a gate code when there was NO gate. Even if it were successful, why the f*ck would I want 2hr old/cold food? Nightmare. Never again. read more

We have placed previous orders from Big E Pizza over the last few years, usually for pick-up. Picked up 2 large pepperoni pizza's on 10-9-2016 and was charged $24.67. They had the order ready for us correct and on time, so I added a $4.00 tip onto the $24.67 bill, and I wrote the total on the debit receipt and signed for $28.67. When we checked our bank charges on our debit card on the next night, it was correctly charged at $28.67. The following Wednesday, it was changed to $32.67. It appears they added another $4.00 tip to the total debit. I called Big E Pizza and was told $24.67 was not enough to cover 2 large pepperoni pizza's and that the $32.67 sounded like the correct amount. According to Big E Pizza's coupon, $28.67 is more than enough to cover the cost of 2 large pepperoni pizzas. I never received a call-back from the owner or manager about charging my debit card $4.00 more than I signed for. My complaint is that I signed for a total debit of $28.67, and Big E Pizza debited my card $32.67. Without disclosure, I don't believe this is even legal, and it surely isn't ethical. We eat out at restaurants frequently and this situation has never happened to us before. Since Big E Pizza won't respond to their overcharge, I will be filing a dispute of the total amount debited with my bank card company. I recommend customers who pay with credit or debit cards at any restaurant to check your bank statements for correct charges. read more

All I can say is I got RUNS ... I mean all day long and morning. My whole family. Just imagine you having the run and gotta share the bathroom with someone else who has the runs also!! Plus your toddler has the runs and you gotta changes diapers and PRAY the runs doesn't hit while changing them. It's not fun! Not fun at all!! Something as to change.. wash hand... yes! The food is amazing I love their pizza Chicago style I'm not a big fan of sub/sandwiches but oh my this place really make the best I've ever tasted me and my boyfriend are regulars we go often the waitresses are very friendly to us we have been loyal customer before they expanded their restaurant. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered delivery from Big E's as recommended by the Westin hotel I am staying at. All I wanted was a bottle of wine & cheesecake after a long day at work but the hotel bar I was staying at was closed (11pm on a Friday AH) so I placed an order for a bottle of wine and food and asked for them to bring a cork screw at 11:10 pm. At 12:10pm the delivery guy arrived with my food and cork screw but no bottle of wine. He told me he forgot it and admitted he was confused why I wanted the cork screw (at this point I am just worried how this guy has made it this far in life) and he tells me he will go to the nearest liquor store to get me said bottle of wine which I have already paid 15$ for. As sketchy as this seems I agree and tip him normally. I then call the restaurant to speak with the manager and let him know what was going on. Any respectable establishment would be apologetic and offer a refund for the forgotten item but the gentleman I spoke to was rude and accusatory saying " well he is going to get the bottle for you right?" AH! And then when he finally returned with my bottle of very very warm red wine he had the audacity to ask me to tip him extra for the difference of the wine that he claimed he overpaid for. I then asked if he had the receipt for the supposedly 40$ bottle of wine which conveniently he did not have. At this point I am wondering if this is a normal practice of the restaurant in order to solicit bigger tips/ rip people off because it makes absolutely no sense to go to a liquor store and buy a 40$ bottle of wine when I only paid 15$...In the end I got my bottle of wine but this was literally the worst overall experience I have ever had... Horrible service! Was having a get together with friends so ordered a pizza from them because I had heard great things... Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. The place was only 15 minutes away from my house and the pizza took TWO HOURS (no joke) to arrive. It wasn't even a busy dinning hour. Update #2: All is well again. The manager reached out and was apologetic and made no excuses. The restaurant made good on their offer to prepare and deliver my meal for free. It arrived early and super hot! I'm back in love again. So happy that I have my go-to late night delivery restaurant! Thank you for caring! I order online from here about once a week. Late night delivery has made them a favorite. They give you plenty of food for the price, which is amazing compared to the other restaurants I order from sometimes. My favorite is the baked ziti! It comes with a side salad and garlic bread. I can never finish it all in one sitting. And let me also add that my meals are always piping hot when they arrive at my door. The people who deliver are always kind with a smile. Keep doing what you're doing. Update: So, I guess I wrote my first review too quickly. I ordered my food right before I wrote it. Here's the update: I ordered at 9:27pm online. An hour and fifteen minutes later, no food. I called the restaurant and they said its on the way. Another hour passes by and no delivery. I contact Eat24 so that they can locate my order. An employee of Big E apologized for the delay and stated the driver is on his way and will be here in a few minutes (the restaurant is only about 10 minutes from my home). Another hour passes by and I'm still without food. Big E says that my order was misplaced. MISPLACED?! Wow. However, they can make it again for free. The catch? I'll have to wait ANOTHER 60 MINUTES! 4 hours for an order of baked ziti? No thank you. Funny how a two year love affair can abruptly come to an end. I'm done. My initial rating was 4 stars. I won't change it to one star--only because their food is delicious. But lack of service has caused me to change it to 2 stars. Guess you decided not to keep doing what you were doing. Smh. I ordered a Hawaiian BBQ chicken pizza with NO onions. I picked up my pizza and brought it home. First bite, onions all inside the pizza. You can't tell there are onions because it's baked inside the pizza. I called and said there are onions all over my pizza. The lady was really nice and told me she will replace my order the next time I order. Awesome customer service. I call to get my pizza that was made wrong by their cooks and was told I can only get $5 off of my pizza. After the lady told me last night that I would get my order replaced. That was so wrong. I am a regular there ordering their sandwiches. I asked to speak to a manger and she said she will not replace my order and only give me the $5 off. Told her I will never order from here again and all she could tell me was sorry. Horrible customer service now... I feel betrayed and robbed of my money. They got my order wrong and can only give me $5 off their over priced pizza. Never again. Lost a good faithful customer. Ashamed. read more

went here last night to grab a bite to eat with a friend who had been fiending for a good slice all week so we went to Big E. dining room is fairly small with about three or four small tables and one large table in the middle. we got the medium 8 slice 2 topping pizza with pepperoni and italian sausage which came out to be about ~9.50 or so, VERY cheap. pizza was delicious and well worth the price. only reason it gets 4/5 stars is because the wait time was long but besides that Big E was a great place to go for a slice ! read more

The large pizza is a good size and the sauce is not too sweet and full of flavor. The cheese is also delish (some places use gross cheese) and the crust is not too thick, not too thin. I've been to this place mainly for their pizza many times before, many years ago. I wanted a salad and I was going based off of the pizza place by my house (not this one) on how good it is. So I called and was greeted by a nice guy, he was very patient even tho I can hear that it was very loud and busy in the background. I asked for a BBQ chicken salad, instead he recommended the Forget About It salad. It came with lettuce, red peppers, croutons, and all these other things he said but I don't remember. I said that I'll try it, except the yellow peppers. It was delivered to me about 45 mins later as told. I got it and the chicken was cold. I personally prefer my chicken to be hot on my salads. Not always, but most of the time. It's not that I was cold, it just didn't have flavor. It was a very big salad, with avocado and peppers. It was fresh. The only thing lacking for me was the chicken. It did have BBQ sauce but still, nothing about it stood out to me. Maybe they are known better for their pizza. I thought I would try something different but I wasn't content. I will be back to maybe try a pasta plate or for pizza. Maybe they can improve on simple salads but with flavor. Dressing not being a flavor of course. read more

I usually only order when it's really late and everything else is closed. The pizza is good but nothing more. They need to train their employees a little better, teach them the difference between their dressings. I always order blue cheese and they always give me Caesar, I've even made it a point and they still give me the wrong one. The food is surprising good for a mom and pop type of pizzeria . I've ordered for take out, delivery, and dine-in. The issue I have with dine-in isn't that big of an issue but the place is small and I usually order for take out and delivery. The drivers I've gotten have been nothing but nice and patient. On the other hand the call to put in my order is totally different. The people who answers the phone which is always female voices are rude. They're tone over the phone is unpleasant and they are not polite. Same with the take out. I go to talk to them and they have a big line of customers and they spend there time on the phone or talking to each other while attending customers. They rarely are ever nice when I go. Over all I would have given this a 5 star rating but the negative incidents keep occurring and nothing seems to be done about it. .. read more
