The staff at Big O Tires are so great! About a month ago, I had gone there because I noticed a nail in my tire and they were able to patch the tire. Recently, I got a low pressure warning on the same tire. The technician noticed that there was a very slight leak and repatched the original repair while I waited. Then after a rough freeway ride, the tire gave me a low pressure warning again. So obviously it was time to replace it. Unfortunately, they did not have the tire in stock and it was back ordered. I ordered it myself from Tire Rack and took it back to Big O to have it mounted and balanced. The technicians and office staff saw me at least 3 separate times within a couple of weeks, and they were so nice and pleasant each time. They were able to take care of my repair the same day and did it all with a smile. read more

Been going here for about 8 years and spent a lot of money with them. They told me I needed to replace both calipers on my car when I really only needed pads and rotors. I'll be sure to go somewhere else next time as I feel this place looked at my long service records with them and up charged me tremendously. Bummed me out honestly and hopefully this helps someone else! Call around for quotes and get a few different write ups before going in and getting ripped off. On top of being charged an absurd amount and not having very good answers to my questions there is now a squealing noise on my front right wheel and it seems that this place has new employees every 2 months or so. It seems they are under new management and work very slow. I always make appointments and it still takes over an hour for a tire rotation. I recommend making an appointment and planning on leaving your vehicle. They do very good work, but as previously mentioned, move slow. I do trust them and have bought various sets of tires, gotten the alignment package for both our vehicles, and a brake job twice. I do recommend you specifically request the alignment test printout; they failed to produce a printout one time and took 15 minutes to confirm if any adjustment was made on my wife's car. read more

My family and I were enjoying a Friday afternoon until a unexpected horrible thing happened when my husband was turning left he accidently got really close to the high divider curb while turning just to avoid hitting the car next to us. Btw its a very bad uneven divider on 17th and flower st and when it happened our left front tire went inwards and bent some important parts and was dangerous to drive so we went as quick to big o tires and they were about to just close down everything but Juan was super helpful when we got there and ensured we were going to get help and even helped us financially. He didn't mind or hesitated to give us a helping hand even if they were closed already regardless he was quick to get our tire fixed and along with German and Ulises for staying overtime to achieve and ensure our safety, I had both of my young boys with me while waiting and watched a movie and Juan was generous enough to make a fresh batch of coffee for us and they had hot chocolate for my young one. We are entirely grateful and thankful for good hearted people out there still. We went home safely last night all because of them. Thank you again ya'll. So this is my 2nd review i eent back for the convince for a oil change and tire rotation my last review i didnt think thry did the tire totation but they said they did This time i put a piece of tape on the rim and guess what they didnt do it again. I asked them why and they said oh beceause there was a bit of cupping on the tires well that is even more reason to rotate. It's Sunday morning and I'm rushing out the door to Yosemite to pick up a backpacking permit before the ranger station closes in 7 hours, it's gonna be tight. Next I notice a screw sticking out of my tire, now I'm screwed or so I thought. My local Big O in HB told me it's a 2 hour wait for a tire repair which is out of the question and no other tire stores in the area are open on Sunday. I can't risk the long drive to Yosemite and back not knowing if the screw is all of the way through and leaking, so plan B... I see that there's another Big O in Tustin just off the 55 freeway which is on the way. I call and a friendly woman answers the phone and lets me know she can get the job done in 30 minutes! When I arrive Mishonda greets me with a smile as I explain the reason for my rush. She immediately puts a tech to work on it and got it done in just 20 minutes, record time! I am disappointed with the service I received today at this location. I had read good customer service reviews so that just made my experience worse. I took my car in to get a routine oil change. A couple minutes after they took my car in, the manager came out to tell me that my back tires were bad and that I needed to change them ASAP! Also, he told me that I needed a new battery too because the one on my car was going to fail at any moment now and that my dashboard was going to light up with multiple system errors due to this which would lead to me having to take my car into the dealer and spending way much more money! I was shook and surprised because the look on the managers face was very convincing. I normally have all my cars services done at the dealer so I came here because I got a coupon in the mail and thought I would save myself a few dollars. Of course I would not trust what the manager was telling me and wanted an outside opinion. So I just had them do my oil change, the guy didn't even know how to reset my dash for the oil change to appear at 100% and didn't place the sticker on my windshield letting me know when my next oil change was due. I also over heard another one of the employees explaining many issues with another customers car when I was leaving. But anyway, I took my car straight into the dealer for them to check my car out. They reviewed my tires and battery only to tell me that there was nothing wrong at all. They said that my tires were still good for about another year or so. Then still not fully convinced, I went to an Auto Zone and also an O'Reilly Auto Parts and Costco Tire Service. All told me the same things. No issues with my car and that the people who said it had issues were just money hungry! This is very disappointing for Big O Tires, I am not happy with their service, or for what they made me go through! The tires I wanted needed to be ordered in. Due to the COVID bull$h!t the delivery time for the tires to the store couldn't be exactly guaranteed. That was put out front before we proceeded. I got lucky and they actually showed up within 30min of the expected time. 4 tires, an alignment, and an oil change within about 2hrs of the tires actually showing up. When you consider the mounting, balancing, and general inspection of the brakes and other stuff it was pretty quick! Mishonda was thoughtful, courteous, and friendly. This location is consistently awesome. They have excellent customer service and see take care of the small things without even charging for them. Dwayne is stellar. He is intelligent, realistic, knowledgeable about many things especially vehicles. He is focused and took care o my brake installation and later a squeaky brake remedy (for free) because my bearings are out on that wheel. At a later date, I had to leave my vehicle overnight due to a flat on the 55 freeway on my way to Eastvale. Although I had to pay $100 for Lyft, the front office staff and the mechanics changed out my spare for free; getting me back out on the road. What kinda trash is that? Four hours from the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out, much longer than the suggested hour and half. Because someone pushed my order further back, by mistake. Staff are nice, really cooperative, apologized and fixed problem right away. I got two new back tires and alignment, bunch of other charges, on my way back, my car warned me I have uneven pressure on my tires. While having my routine oil changed done they recommended that I have my drivers side CV boot replaced since it was beginning to crack. Since they did not provide that service and my regular mechanic is closed on Mondays I made the big mistake of taking it to Big O tires in Tustin that same day to take care of the problem. A few days after the work was done which included CV boot, front axle shaft, drivers arm control, and tie rod my car began making sounds on the side the work was done like cracking, rubbing especially when I turned or stepped on the brake. I did call and speak to a man who said that was normal give it a few days. I did and it did not go away if anything it sounded worse so I took it in on the recommendation of my mechanic since I spent over $2000........ Bottom line they did not apply the joint grease!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!!!! We will never go back again!!!! read more
