Fun vibe and good service! I had heard a lot about the fried chicken and it was tasty and moist but something was missing to make me say it was the greatest. The spicy fried chicken sandwich just had a hot sauce on it which was again just ok. Could be fun to watch games and have a group but if you're just going for the food, it's just ok. Reading the other reviews made us curious to see if it could really be that big of a flop. Our experience on Saturday night at the very busy hour of 7:00PM was very good. The service was a bit slow but any ninny should understand that efficient service teams are not perfected overnight and this team, under seemingly good leadership will get the wrinkles ironed out quickly. As for the food; in my mind Tex-Mex is distinctly different from the traditional Mexican fare and the California Burrito with Chicken was an excellent choice. Everyone at the table reported similar experiences. As befits any good eating place,a manager stopped by our table for a friendly inquiry as to our satisfaction with the entire experience. The chrome margarita is amazing!!! Ok, ok, everything here is amazing. The chrome margarita is made with muddled limes, lemons and oranges. Add tequila, Cointreau and agave. Tart and fresh. I may have had 3. Yum! I've been here a number of times,but recently we had a large party for ladies night and the staff went above and beyond. I had the mushroom tacos with coleslaw and the flavor was great. Everyone loved their food. Also recommend the bacon/ jalapeno / pineapple guacamole. The parking is easy and free. We learned about Billy Blanco's from one of the guides at the LDS Conference Center, as he heard that we were shortly driving to Park City - Billy Blanco's is about half way, and we stopped around dinner time. What a neat find! Prices are pretty moderate. The restaurant (with some pretty sweet automobiles up on jacks, and a motorcycle as the centerpiece of the bar area) itself is worth the visit just for the curiosity of how they integrated auto shop implements into the dining experience. The napkins are the red "shop towels" that would normally be used to wipe your greasy hands. The silverware can be found in an "oil tin" at each of the tables. The table lights are hung from engine hoists, complete with chain. They started with a big tin of chips, and we ordered the guacamole triple sampler (the House Bacon guacamole was pretty good). Our entrees included the Baja Fish Tacos and the Ensanada Burrito. This was our first trip to Park City, but when we come again next year, this will be our first stop on the way to the mountains. Went to Billy Blanco's about a week ago, what a great location! The ambiance and interior of the restaurant gave it a very unique feel and there is no shortage of cool stuff to look at with a whole showroom of classic cars and motorcycles. If you go, make sure Ollie is your server, he took excellent care of us. The menu is a combination of American (Philly cheese steak, buffalo chicken) and Mexican (tacos, fajitas) and the cooks do an excellent job of blending the flavors. We were so excited that a new restaurant opened so close to our home. We went the first month they opened as we had heard great reviews. We love the ambiance, as we are bikers, but the food and service were very poor. We both ordered burgers and they were marginal and the fries we didn't eat. I felt it wasn't worth the calories. We have not returned and doubt we ever will. Sad, as we were so excited and pass by it daily. read more

As soon as you walk in take a moment to absorb your surroundings, this is as good as it gets and from this point on its a down hill slide steeper than most black diamonds. Bill White and Team phoned this one in, lucky for them Yelp won't allow a No Star rating. The food isn't bad but it is mediocre, luckily it's actually priced right for the menu description. Sadly the service isn't much better. Our waiter screwed up our bill along with a few other tables and we constantly had to remind him to bring us a second helping of chips for our Queso and salsa. Valley dwellers escaping the summer heat, and the ski tourist crowd who don't know better will keep this place on life support until it gets better or someone pulls the plug. I wanted to like this place even with the over the top Motor City, Mex, BBQ mix....come on Bill, make up your mind. Maybe sell a bike, car or two and hire a chef and quality staff. read more

We checked out Billy Blancos last night and loved it. It was busy and there was a long wait for tables so we sat at the bar. Food and service were both excellent (i had the Baja Salad w/chicken and hub had the bean and cheese burrito), they also have a good beer list. The place itself is really something, apparently designed by Bill W himself, you have to see it to really appreciate from the graffiti to the vintage cars SUSPENDED above the booths. All in all, a great place with good energy, good price and good food. i don't know what was going on for those first few days re previous reviews, but its been corrected. Fun, fun place. read more

The excitment for this new resturant to open at the Quarry has been met with major disappointment!!! Did we really need another Mexican resturant in Park City? One burger on the menu seems like an after thought since they advertised Tacos and Burgers??? The staff and service was terrible! The prices well okay but nothing to get excited about. Food was cold and not very appetizing. Needless to say they need help and fast becasue we will not be going back anytime soon!!! read more

Fun atmosphere, mediocre food and not very good service like many have mentioned. Place definitely has some start up isses that need to be resoved quickly as there is better food and value at other establishments that compete. Menu was a bit boring to us and pretty limited in choice. The sever we had did not know know the basic drinks on the menu, forgot my drink and charged us anyway, and in general was not very enthusiastic. Ribs and chicken in the fajitas were both on the dry side. Chips were on the stale side and literally half the basket were thumbnail size from being crushed up - how hard is it to have decent chips? We might give it some time and try it again and hope things improve. read more

Atmosphere - a guys dream garage on steroids!!! Whoever designed this place and executed it's construction hit it out of the park! We found the food to be equally as good. The margaritas were hand crafted, no mix here. All 4 of us felt they were 1 of the best margaritas we've ever had, but we ordered 6 just to be sure. The queso blanco dip was served warm and was creamy with just the right amount of spice. We had 2 orders of chicken enchiladas with chili verde sauce - both packed with chicken and the sauce provided a nice kick without overpowering the dish. We also had 2 orders of barbecue ribs - they were meaty with a wonderful smokey flavor and a generous portion. I ordered tator tots with mine which dunked in the aforementioned queso blanco dip was heaven. The only food item that fell short was the El Camino Corn which was water soaked and not roasted. If your menu says "roasted corn" - you get the drift! Our server, Shannon, was great. Very attentive, even tho her section was full, knew the menu and offered suggestions if asked. I was in for a quick lunch at the bar and had a terrible cheeseburger and cold tater tots for $13.00. The coffee was warm and served with low fat milk for $3.00. The service was fine. I was surprised. This is NOT the usual place, but the quality is there in each bite. They will work out the small kinks in the brand new restaurant, and I'll be happy to come back while they do. We waited a few months after the grand opening to try Billy Blanco's. The atmosphere is very casual. The food was fantastic, large portions, and reasonably priced. In fact, my husband was not certain the restaurant could make a profit with such low prices and generous portions. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for a table (we were a party of 8). But it was no problem. We were pleasantly surprised when the manager sent out free appetizers and offered a free beer as an apology for the wait! We felt this was very generous and a signal that the restaurant is concerned about customer service. read more

Had the strangest experience here. After we finished eating and we were just talking, a manager came over and told us we would have to leave because our table had been reserved. He said we could move over to the bar, but no offer of anything complimentary. We just left. I have never had that happen at a restaurant. Left me with a bad taste about the place. read more

Our server had an attitude (he didn't even say thank you or come again when he slapped our check down on our table), our appetizers were served after our entree's and no explanation/apology was given. And it wasn't close to being busy. When I asked about my glass of wine that I ordered 10 minutes before our server said "I'm waiting on him" and pointed to the lone bartender who was sitting at a table, I'm assuming talking with friends. read more

Took 15 minutes to seat us at lunch. Took another 10 minutes for a server to come to table. Ordered iced tea no sugar on table, asked for some and ended up having to go get my own from bar. The decor is quite impressive with how much they put into it. The food is pretty good. But the service is seriously lacking. We saw our attendant once to take our order and once to bring our food. We had to go get them to get more water and soda and our check. read more
