Our server Teddy was amazing, he was so kind and super accommodating to our large group. He took his time, and made sure to correct any issues and fulfill any requests we had. When we told the manager AMY how great of a server Teddy is she began to bad mouth him. I have never heard a manager talk bad about their employees to the customer. It was super unprofessional and left a bad taste in our mouths. She left and then came back to talk bad about him again. Im very disappointed in Amy and the way she handled the situation. Like many people, I generally prefer homegrown local businesses, but BJ's is an exception to this rule. This chain currently has over 200 restaurants nationwide. They each have the exact same lineup of in-house craft beers brewed at their five brewery locations across different states. Born in Santa Ana, California, the restaurant headquarters is in Huntington Beach, and the main brewery is in Temple, Texas. Although it may be a corporate restaurant chain, it is also an independent craft brewery. The year-round beer lineup is organized from lightest color and lowest alcohol concentration at the start of the spectrum, to the darkest in color and highest alcohol concentration at the other end of the spectrum. Taking it one step further is their brewmaster's selection, which is a bourbon barrel-aged stout with 9.5% alcohol by volume--which is my favorite, by the way. Additionally, there is a rotating seasonal beer. The in-house draft selection continues with regular and hard root beers, prickly pear hard lemonade, and hard berry cider. Next, are the guest taps featuring some local and regional craft beers. Lastly, are some of the typical mass-market beers. In short, their draft selection appeals to all tastes. The hallmarks of their food menu are the deep dish pizzas and Pizookie desserts. I enjoy these as much as their handcrafted beers. The personal deep dish pizza is especially popular. The regular-size Pizookie is a bit much for one person to finish, but perfect for two or more people to share. By far, the best value on the menu is the $13 Pizookie Meal Deal, available Monday through Friday. You get to choose from one of eight entrees, and one of seven flavors of Mini Pizookie. Triple chocolate is my favorite. I like to make this quadruple by pairing it with the chocolate porter. Happy hour goes until 7 pm on weekdays, which is generous compared to most restaurants. Year-round BJ's drafts are $5 each during this time, in the bar area. However, on Wednesdays, they are $5 all day, throughout the restaurant. For plant-based options, you can order the vegetarian pizza with no cheese. You can order the brewhouse bowl with no cheese or crema. For the burgers, you can choose their vegetarian patty (Gardenburger). For a few more vegan options, my review would have a five-star rating. The homemade guacamole is fantastic. However, the chips and salsa have an unhealthy amount of salt. Most people already have too much sodium in their diets to begin with. It would be nice if they had a low-salt or salt-free version of their chips and salsa. While the previous generation of BJ's restaurants has the bar along a wall, this is one of the newer locations with an island bar facing windows and patio. This makes it more conducive to social connection, as well as camaraderie during big games. This bar area is also great place to watch one or multiple games at the same time. The staff are very good about accommodating requests to put a particular game on, especially one of the home teams. Service is friendly and attentive at this location, as well as the other four locations across the valley. I'm a long-time fan, and I highly recommend whichever location is most convenient for you. read more

This was our third visit to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse on Rainbow, and every time we come here, the food is consistently outstanding and perfectly cooked. This visit was especially memorable as we were celebrating Father's Day with our daughter, our son, our daughter's boyfriend, and his mother. We all had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed spending time together over a fantastic meal. The prime rib was absolutely excellent, tnder, juicy, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The white cheddar mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh and well-prepared. The house-made beers were a great complement to the meal, and we finished with a Triple Chocolate Pizookie, and Dubai Pizookie that was absolutely delicious. From start to finish, everything was excellent. Our server was also outstanding. Unfortunately, we don't remember his name, but he was truly top-notch; friendly, attentive, professional, and he helped make our Father's Day dining experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find a restaurant and brewpub that delivers such consistent quality for a reasonable price, but BJ's continues to impress us every time. The place was busy so I could understand if the lack of service was due to that, but communication would have been nice and it wasn't a pleasant start of the experience for my family members' first time at BJ's. Overall, Id say with this experience, acknowledgment, sense of urgency, and communication from Christy was lacking and could be better. I came here expecting a casual dining experience, nothing more nothing less... but instead I left with laughs, more drinks than I expected (seriously my bill, I am ashamed of... don't show my mom how many cocktails I drank) and delicious food and appetizers. I came here to try the Biscoff pizookie and ended up trying that along with the Dubai Chocolate Pizookie. Well. Let me tell you first about the Mexican candy shot. You can't go wrong with that. To me, you can't taste the alcohol then not pictured but I had the avocado rolls. They were good but I still think that California Pizza Kitchen has better ones. Entree was the Enlightened Mediterranean Chicken Pita Tacos. Yummmmyyyy!! One of my go to's every time we come here. Now the verdict for the pizookie's. I was surprised that the Dubai chocolate was better than the Biscoff. I mean. They could've added more pistachio drizzle but other than that 10/10. The biscoff one didn't even taste like biscoff. We asked for chocolate chip instead of the sugar cookie though. Maybe that's why we couldn't taste the biscoff so much because the chocolate chip overpowered the cookie butter? Idk. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated within about five minutes, which was a pleasant start, especially since the restaurant was busy. Our server, Christy T., was fantastic. They were friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain menu items we had questions about. This review is for the Thursday rib special... For $25 you get a sizeable full rack of delicious ribs, 2 sides, and a pizookie! In a day and age where a simple burger can cost you $25, I thought this was a great value! The mashed potatoes were thick and mixed with white cheddar, the fries were topped off nicely by dipping them into the bbq sauce provided for the ribs. My s'mores pizookie had a great mix of vanilla ice cream, toasted marshmallow, and cookie. We left feeling stuffed to the rafters! My wife got the half rack for $19. Drake did a great job as our server keeping our drinks filled and providing us with plenty of wet naps! Whenever I come here I normally just order the pizookie cookie as it's a yummy sweet treat but this time around I tried something different and I got the brewhouse bites sampler which comes with two small sliders, mozzarella sticks, your choice of wings, and a dip and chips which I choose the artichoke. This is a good little sampler that can feed about two people split and you get a taste of things so you're not stuck with one or two items. I would say this is perfect for light game day snack. We came here four days ago for dinner and it was packed. I'm not sure if they were tourists or just locals. I ordered my steakhouse wedge salad. The wedge salad itself was very good. However, the steak that they use was not a very good cut when it came to my table the meat is kind of cold and they Grilled it medium rare where it's hard to chew the meat, and the meat was very tough. It tasted like an old cow. I told my waiter Shaquille that the meat wasn't chewable so he took all the meat that I chewed and spit out and showed it to the chef so they made me another steak and that delivered to my table like in 15 minutes it was a little bit better than the previous steak, however The meat that they used was low quality. The only good thing about this experience was our waiter Shaquille. He was the best waiter ever my husband ordered chicken Parmesan, and it wasn't bad at all and the pizookie chocolate Pizookie was very good. It was very noisy that night since it was packed. I have been going to BJ for years and was excited they built one close to our area. Our first few times there we had the same great waitress and the food was good. This last time we went it was not a good experience. I got the deal they had going for 13 bucks and the gravy on the chicken was so salty. My husband got the lemon pepper wings with a side of fries. The wings were burnt and we know the server saw they were burnt when they came out. My husband takes a bite and said all he tastes is char taste. He never got his fries that was suppose to come with the order. We wait like 7 mins for the waitress to come back to the table to send back the wings. No I'm sorry nothing. Then she comes back and says that they can't replace the wings as they are prepared in a batch so they were be all the same and said he should order something else. More of a 3.5* review in all honesty....this is the newest BJ's location in Las Vegas and it is different than the other locations which is t a bad thing...this place was particularly busy on a Wednesday night at 7:30 so à short wait was in order...it was burger and beer night so the prices were definitely more reasonable than during a normal visit...the service was fine but the wait for the food to arrive was quite long, over 30 minutes...when it did arrive the food was hot and good...I did enjoy the ambiance of this location more than the others in town, definitely a cooler vibe and the patio area looked very nice but it was extremely crowded...all in all this was a good enough experience to warrant a return visit when in the area again....RECOMMEND read more

Visited on a Wednesday for happy hour on a whim with the kids for a light meal. We never have a complaint about the food as items are always consistent and out quickly after an order. My biggest complaint during this visit was the service. I usually let things go pretty easily. However so many little issues with our server made this more of a hassle to have dined here. First off, when we were seated our server Mia came over to take drink orders and asked if we had questions, Monday-Friday happy hour is from 3-6pm at the bar or patio. But we were seated in the main dining area and we were obviously asking questions about happy hour. She did not acknowledge anything that we would not qualify for happy hour or that we need to refer to the items on non-happy hour pages. She said she would come back. She didn't come back for 10 minutes. Finally when we got our food orders in she took our water glasses to refill but never brought them back. She brought the wrong beer that we did not order but let it go since it was my husband's 2nd choice. Once the food arrived we realized there were no utensils whatsoever. But we made do since the items were finger foods. Lastly, when we received the check the items of course were not happy hour pricing but full price and all the items were doubled. So she said she would have a manager correct both issues. I wish that was the extent of our complaints but upon checkout, we scanned the QR code at our table and the gratuity was automatically 18%! For 4 people while the restaurant was half full during happy hour? I would understand if it was a table of 6-8 or more. She was extremely, friendly, attentive, listened to specifics and also made helpful suggestions based on my and my friends' wishes/needs. For example, we wanted a pizookie but didn't want all the calories and didn't realize you could order a mini size in almost any flavor. Also, at each entree item we ordered she asked if we wanted to modify any toppings/ingredients and was on top of all the adjustments. i've liked it every time i've come here. good food, good service. 100% recommend the ahi poke as an appetizer, the wonton chips are nice and crisp and the tuna is placed on a bed of avocado- an amazing combination. the slow-roasted sirloin could have been cooked better, it was a bit dry when i last visited. the shrimp scampi was very flavorful and had the right amount of sauce. if you want salmon i would probably skip the cherry glazed dish, the flavors didn't mesh together well. salted caramel pizookie was really sweet as expected but great nonetheless. read more

I was thrilled to have a great dinner but after I returned home from picking up my order, I was extremely sad, disappointed, frustrated, grossed out. The Prime Rib weekend special wasn't special after all. I selected the cheddar cheese mashed potatoes, garlic roasted vegetables, fresh morrazella cheese salad, and of course the star of the star of the night, "PRIME RIB". Let me tell you about the prime rib. The "PRIME RIB" looks nothing like prime rib. It looked more like "ZOMBIE MEAT". I was afraid to taste it from the way how it looked. I build up enough courage to give it a shot. When I cut the meat with the steak knife, the meat shredded like threads. It seems like the meat came from a 3D printing or the meat was glued together from meat glue!. The texture was indescribable. It just doesn't taste like meat. It made me gag. Another disappointment is the potatoes, it wasn't the cheddar cheese mashed potatoes! It was just a plain whole sadly looking baked potatoe. It wasn't even warm. It looked like it was placed in my order from another angry customer's plate or from the trash. Next, let's talk about the garlic roasted vegetables. Sure, the garlic flavor was there. The mixed vegetables was dried and all burnt up! Now, the fresh morrazella cheese salad. One would think with such high standards restaurant, the salad could be more presentable. I can't express how the salad looked it. The morrazella cheese was almost as small as a size of a raisins. The tomatoes end wasn't removed. The arugula was puny. The salad was overly dressed with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette and sprinkles with a little bit of shredded Parmesan cheese. That was the only thing ate from it. Not because I wanted to, but because I was hungry. I contacted the restaurant, talked to the manager on duty. He asked me if I would like to bring my order back, so the kitchen can make me a new one. I told him I wouldn't return to the restaurant. He stated he would refund my money back, but that's not the point. The meal wasn't inexpensive. It shouldn't be treated that way. I understand the restaurant could be busy sometimes, but the chef should pay equal attention to what the customers' order. Because of this incident, I will most likely not return to BJs. read more
