We ordered the steak trio, which came with sirloin steak cooked to perfection, fried shrimp, and lobster tail when I tell you this meal was top notch and then to top it off the server NURIA absolutely absolutely stellar. Her Customer service was wonderful, very welcoming. She was very familiar with the menu which made that an added bonus. I enjoyed our time tonight so much that I asked to speak with the manager on duty in which I spoke with manager, Justin and I advised him of such a great time that we had tonight please look at the pictures below and do me a favor. I ordered two medium rare 6 ounce sirloin steaks, with two loaded baked potatoes, and two salads for delivery. Not only did it take 90 minutes, one of the steaks came well done and burnt. The other came back very rare and cold. And the two salads? Didn't even come at all. Horrible experience. read more

This place is old. Definitely needs some remodeling. We ordered the chicken tenders and the molasses bread. We just wanted something to munch on while on the road. Black Angus is definitely great value for the food you get. They always have great offers and the portions are generous. The steak and everything are always on point. The dining experience can be better though. I visited the afternoon on Tuesday, 12/9 and the guy at the frontdesk didn't greet me. The restrooms are flatout disgusting. I blame the patrons for being disgusting pigs more than anything else. Also, It's always frustrating trying to get the server's attention. We visited Black Angus on Sunday, April 5 on Easter and our expectation was to take the food with us since we were visiting and just coming from Las Vegas our home. And I just want to say that we were completely amazed! It started out with us ordering a meal for pick up via Uber eats. When we arrived after receiving a message that the food was ready, we went to the front counter to confirm, and the food was not quite ready because of a system error. A very wonderful manager Frank came over and he offered us an appetizer while our food was being prepared , and I tell you that this was the start of a great relationship. We were prepared to take the food with us, and per the managers recommendation, we ended up sitting at the restaurant having drinks, and having a delicious appetizer and great conversation with Frank.The food was absolutely delicious, everything was prepared according to our specifications, and Frank made us feel like family. He is absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond ,and that is something that really makes a great restaurant greater, and ignites into a wonderful experience.! We ended up staying at the Resturant, for every bit of two hours because we were having such a great time and your choice and management is the reason why. I wish that this message could reach corporate on every level because your restaurant is amazing!, and your choice of management is superb! We also had the opportunity to meet the GM/John and he is equally as wonderful. This was my first visit to a Black Angus Steakhouse and it was lovely! My boyfriend and I came in very very late (I believe we were the last people that came in to be seated) and we received lovely service. This night there happened to be 2 gentlemen sat near us who were at the end of their meal but were creating a huge problem out of nothing, clearly trying to get a free meal out of the manager. They were extremely rude to the staff but the staff remained kind and fair to them, even when the gentlemen stormed off. The staff was wonderful and didn't deserve all that. Eat here!!! Huge fan since I was a kid. I'm totally clueless about why the restaurant is half empty on a Saturday night. We did the $25 DineLA menu. The 3 courses we ordered came with warm toasty bread and butter. The toast was fresh and warm. The steak soup was delicious! The 6oz steak was perfectly cooked! No complaints here. I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after what happened tonight and seeing a fake review under "Rebecca" that I think was made up with one of their staff posted to cover it up I felt like I had to speak up. Tonight was one of the worst experiences of my life. We were mistreated, disrespected, and completely humiliated. I was with my service dog and went to the restroom. When I came back, my husband told me that a staff member Isabel had approached him without any greeting or courtesy and harshly said "Are you the owner of the dog? The dog should be down on the floor! in a rude condescending tone and left Still, I followed her instructions right away and put my dog down. Minutes later, she came back with another manager named Justin and told us "I think we'll have to ask you to leave" with zero warning or explanation. To make things worse a guest from another table started butting in like he knew what was going on and instead of calming the situation down the managers just stood by and let him argue with my husband. No attempt to deescalate no professionalism just more embarrassment for us. All of this could have been avoided if Isabel had just spoken to us with basic respect and human decency. My husband reacted the way he did because he felt completely disrespected. In addition upon checking previous reviews it's a recurring issue.. to the owner or upper management please train your staff on how to approach guests especially in sensitive situations with respect and professionalism. Horrible service and very bad staff. We got there and got seated right away, they took our order but the food took one hour to get there. We arrived at 821 pm and didn't get our food until an hour later and it was just plain cold. We asked the waitress and she said she didn't control the kitchen!! Smh Waitress was very unresponsive and no communication skills whatsoever. An Asian couple waited 20 minutes just to get their check and that was only until the man went up to the front desk to ask for it. I haven't been to a Black Angus for way too long, and when I received an e-mail for Steak, Lobster Tail, Crispy Shrimp and 2 sides for $26, my Friday lunch was planned! It was 103 degree heat in Burbank, and was a relief to enter the air conditioned steakhouse as quickly as possible. They'd just opened, and the person who seated me would also be my server. I ordered the above special with my steak Medium, a Side salad with Blue Cheese and Mac and Cheese. Of course, the salad and bread arrived first ... with my entree arriving before I'd finished my salad. Their Blue Cheese Dressing was simply amazing! The steak was to order and had a char to it which enhanced the "steakhouse" feeling. Temperature and taste was spot on - for everything. I was feeling great about the experience and decided to order their Cowboy Cookie for dessert. Warm, gooey and delicious with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Yum! Server was there and asking if the food was to my liking and if there was anything more she could get for me throughout the meal. Best Birthday Celebrations Ever!!!!! My girlfriend and I always go to Black Angus to celebrate our birthdays, and it's not only for the free giant hot chocolate chip cookie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My favorite is the filet with mushrooms and blue cheese, cooked exactly the way it is ordered. She likes the salmon. We love the high back booths, very private and you don't hear the other customers. Last time we were there celebrating 2 birthdays on Nov 7th, this particular manager, John, stopped by to see how we were doing. I was dining solo and thought I'd give it a try. Honestly, it's a pretty solid choice. Everything was good; decor, service, and food. It feels like a cross between fine-dining and a coffee shop, and for what you get, it's a good value. I was a little surprised they didn't know what a Vesper was, but I got a basic Manhattan. Haven't been here in a while and figured that Dine in LA restaurant week was a great reason to give it another visit. Made reservations and they were fairly busy for a Friday night and there was a crowd by the time I left. Waited maybe 2-3 min. to be seated. This is definitely a throwback to the older steakhouses with higher booths and none of the modern pretense you see at steakhouses nowadays. As with most restaurants, they did seem a bit short staffed as the poor waiter was running around covering a whole section of maybe 10- 12 tables. Once we ordered, the food did take a bit to come out. The zucchini appetizer was ok, though a bit heavy on the breading and lacking the punch of flavor expected. And it was bit greasy. The steak itself was good, though probably sat a bit on the counter as it was lukewarm when it arrived. They dessert portion even for individual sized was large and definitely tough to finish after a full meal. Overall, a decent placed for a mid tier based steak. I'd say to a nice change to the high end steakhouses all over, where you still get a bit of value for your $$. read more
